my father: what got you into the kennedys?
the real answer: i’m neurodivergent, the kennedys are a family with a lot of interesting information and that makes them prime candidates for being my special interest. plus i think jack and bobby were hot—
the answer i gave: oh, i don’t know. i just like history.

EARL ROSE coroner
EARL ROSE
JFK
23 September 1926 – 1 May 2012
Earl Rose was an American pathologist who worked at Parkland Memorial Hospital. He was working there at the time of John F. Kennedy’s assassination. On 22 November 1963, Rose was working at the Hospital when Kennedy’s body arrived and was told that he was pronounced dead. He walked into the room where Jacqueline Kennedy and a priest where there who was reading Kennedy’s last rites. Rose was met by Secret Service agent Roy Kellerman and Kennedy’s personal doctor George Burkley who told Rose there was no time for an autopsy. They told him that Jacqueline wouldn’t leave Dallas without her husband, which was to be taken to the hospital. Rose objected and insisted that he had to perform a post-mortem examination before they removed his body. A heated exchange took place and Rose had to step aside and allowed them to take Kennedy’s body from the hospital before he was able to perform an autopsy. Rose was able to perform an autopsy on Dallas Police officer JD Tippit that afternoon who was with JFK at the time of his death.
Rose later stated that if he and his staff were able to perform the post-mortem that many conspiracy theories today wouldn’t exist. He rejected the conspiracy theories of JFK assassination and supported that there was only one person who shot the President.
Two days later, Earl Rose performed an autopsy on Lee Harvey Oswald, the man who had killed Kennedy. The man who killed Oswald, Jack Ruby died of cancer in 1967, and Rose performed an autopsy on him. He said he doesn’t know whether Ruby had the cancerous tumors at the time he shot Oswald.

John F. Kennedy’s Grandson Jack Schlossberg Joins Vogue as Political Correspondent Ahead of 2024 Election
John F. Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, has joined Vogue as a political correspondent, just months before the pivotal 2024 election. Schlossberg, 31, is the son of U.S. Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy and the grandson of former President John F. Kennedy. With a JD and MBA from Harvard, Schlossberg brings a unique blend of legal and business acumen to his new role.
In an interview with Vogue, Schlossberg expressed his deep concern about the upcoming election, emphasizing the high stakes involved. He voiced particular worry about the implications of a potential Donald Trump reelection, urging younger generations to recognize the long-term consequences.
“It’s going to be a lot more work for younger people in the long run to have to clean that up than it is to show up and vote one day out of the year,” Schlossberg remarked. “I really am focused on creating a positive outcome where the good guys win. It’s going to be more complicated than that, but I’m still optimistic. Things don’t have to get way worse.”
Schlossberg, who regards his grandfather as his hero, has become increasingly engaged in the responsibilities tied to his family's legacy. He stated, “As I’ve grown up, I’ve become more involved in the official obligations that come with being part of my family. I’ve met a lot of politicians and become all the more optimistic about our future by doing that work.”
Last year, Schlossberg openly criticized his cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent presidential campaign and threw his support behind Joe Biden’s reelection bid. He was vocal about his stance, stating, “These are the issues that matter. And if my cousin, Bobby Kennedy Jr., cared about any of them, he would support Joe Biden, too.”
In addition to his new role at Vogue, Schlossberg has been active on social media, particularly TikTok, where he discusses political issues and shares comedic sketches. He believes his audience appreciates his authenticity, saying, “I try to say things that I think are important. People can tell when people are being authentic and don’t have any other agenda.”
Schlossberg is keenly aware of the significance of the upcoming election and is committed to using his platform to inspire positive political engagement. “I think very deeply and critically about what I want to say. This election year is so important to me, and that’s why I’ve been trying to be out there more,” he explained. “This is a really pivotal moment in history, and it’s such an exciting time to be alive and to be able to vote. I want to get that vibe out there because there’s a lot of negative energy about politics, and I want to bring some positivity out there because this really matters.

Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day ☘️ and I was recently invited back to The Boston Courier for an interview on the enduring fascination with Irishman Michael Collins and Irish American JFK. I appreciate the invitation to return!
"In one of your blog posts, you wrote: 'Feel free to stop me when this story sounds an awful lot like a prominent one from American history that I talk about often. A man of war becomes a man of peace . . . he challenges the status quo . . . he goes into hostile territory in an open vehicle . . . he doesn’t survive the trip . . .' This is a clear reference to John F. Kennedy, yes?
Indeed, it is."
