still looking for artists

since i have a lot more followers now than last time i posted it;

i'm still looking for artists who would like to collaborate with me on a comic adaptation of chum. i am willing to handle the process of turning the existing web novel into a comic script. if multiple artists are interested i'm not averse to handling a paneling-inking-coloring sort of situation for increased rates of production, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves.

while i do not make a ton of money this *is* a paid job offer, i'm not interested in having people work for me uncompensated and i don't believe in paying people for "exposure". we can negotiate per-page rates as we chat - i'm committed to paying people their fair share for their work without lowballing even if it means i need to save up between issues.

having a consistent, professional art style and the ability to deliver relatively on-time without nannying are the only two requirements. being good at drawing action scenes and having an interest in superheroes helps. i've had many, many projects that have gotten bottlenecked by artist collaborators just... not doing it after the planning phase, going radio silent for months, and then being like "oh i forgot let me get right on that :)" and i don't want this to be another one.

One of my dnd players chose to work at the student newspaper in our Strixhaven campaign … obviously I had no choice but to make a new paper each week that is full of side quests, lore drops and teases at the plot. Only one player has caught on thus far and is now frantically rushing around campus looking for new papers each week.

Today, one of my older colleagues in the office left earlier. After he was gone, my friend looked around, and then looked at me in awe and said: "Now all the adults are gone."

I am 36 years old. He is 25. The third person still on duty is 30. We have all been adults for quite some time. I graduated high school before the first iPhone was released! We're adults!

hello. ask 25 for terry bc genuinely curious about a young vampires stance on conspiracy theories

he claims he doesn't have time for any conspiracy because he has a job but that is deeply untrue. He works from home and he has more than enough time to read all the internet forums and websites.

terry says "If vampires are real, anything else could be real too." and he doesn't actually believe in anything too strongly. what he does think is real though "is just facts" because he would never admit to believing in conspiracy. he's a bit harder to sell on some things than a typical 50 year old uncle (it is not because he's a vampire).

some of the things he says are just true are the new coke theory (they replaced the old coke recipe with an inferior one), the mccartney is dead theory (they replaced paul mccartney with some other guy) and the dead internet theory (it's just bots).
