I don't remember at what points in my life things changed drastically

I guess that's not really something that happened to me, at least in a way I can fully comprehend

They were mostly slow rolls, all throughout. Except maybe the whole moving every 4-5 years when those actually forced me to change schools but that was just a fixture of life for me at that point

Except times I remember- being young, and wanting to be loved more, and yearning for kindness and comfort when I was upset. I remember distinctly thinking that at the rate things were going, nobody could save me from the loneliness

Too smart for my own good, or may smart enough to avoid whatever hole that would have led me down

I knew I had to do it myself

I didn't have the courage nor charisma to reach out to others and make friends at the time, my parents weren't evil but they WERE old school and from a different time AND culture

They weren't raised on American Television, which despite everything still showed love and care every now and then, in cartoons, on the family channel. Childhood best friends forever and understanding parents

Impossible for me, I thought. At least impossible with the conditions and semantics I thought were needed

I had to save myself

And I couldn't really

I could only do so much and I tried so hard

But I was an awkward lonely teenager with no emotional strength or foundation learning everything a bit too late and a bit too slow

But nobody could save me, I had to do it myself

It's a flawed viewpoint but it was all I had, and despite everything it made me not give up hope

For better or for worse I always started with nothing, so losing what due to my own failings or due to shifts in my life usually didn't feel like the end of the world

But it's not good for growth you know? I was already a little behind because I didn't socialize much and it was scary out there

I learned the best ways to deflect statements that hurt me, I learned ways to try and not step on toes, I learned to better slow myself down and often try to think before I speak

And once I had that I could build myself up the way I wanted to, a decade and a half late

I'd given up on so much

There was enough "wrong" with me that I spent most of my time struggling against myself whenever I wasn't doing school or work

I remember a particularly bad meltdown haunting me for three years before I felt it ebb

It's not like anyone else brought it up either, it was just me. All me

I didn't feel like I had too much time for therapy or counseling. I didn't know where to look and I didn't even know what to say

And I spent so much time thinking and going over things in my head that what I WAS able to put into words sounded perfectly coherent and healthy

Eventually counseling helped a little, but there's just a lot that I couldn't rely on someone else for because I didn't know how

And there haven't been that many drastic changes, at least I thought

Not when everything feels like a mountain to climb and every effort feels like digging into the stone with my fingers

Nobody could save me

To get what I wanted I had to do it myself

I envy the dolls here sometimes. I envy the hope they have in Witches sometimes. Granted I don't go to those spaces. But I see the texts sometimes. I'm so exhausted but I feel like letting myself have that hope goes counter to everything I've struggled for, that I've fought for, that parts of me have died for

I really, really, wanted someone to save me

There is this concept of a Witch's unconditional love for her dolls that probably would have made me happy long ago

At the very least a moment in life where I could rest properly for once

But it's not what I want anymore

At least not wholly

It IS nice to relax and let go every now and then, to rely on others as best as I can, to be myself

It's nice to let myself be a burden and be taken care of every now and then

But I am my own Witch, first and foremost

I built my own soul, my own purpose, my own magic, my own pride

My sliver of humanity that shines as bright as any torch in the darkness

I and we and she reached through the mirror and chiseled the jagged heart of our reflections into a smooth core

I won't give up on her

I won't give up on the Witch I was yesterday who struggled to bring me here today, just as she didn't give up on me yesterday, nor the day before, or before that

Even as she climbed over my shattered cerebral porcelain, and I climbed over hers, and mine and hers- from even before I flowered from the prince's tomb

I won't give up on her

I'm a bit manic and delusional and a bit sleep deprived it seems

But I won't give up on her

She never gave up on me

When did it become like this?

Never, not really, it didn't become, it grew

From a flower, to a garden

Porcelain with gold between the cracks is still broken, but it still functions, and it's still beautiful

Decorating the house with him!! Except he’d be trying to get out of doing it at first lol

He’d be pissed about the mess that would come with decorating the house

He’d be very meticulous about which decorations go where, but you’re just gonna have to put up with that 

Pls don’t complain too much, he really wouldn’t be doing it with anyone else

Idk why but i feel like he’d be really good at hanging up the lights?? With the placement and whatnot?

At the end of it, while y’all are sitting on the couch drinking some tea, he quietly mumbles how he likes the work you two did 

But you felt like teasing him and he got all huffy and said it louder, obviously calling you a brat right after cuz why wouldn’t he

Ask him to make gingerbread houses!! pls he’d be so excited about it 

He’d even go to the store himself and get all the supplies on his way home and you both wouldn’t waste a minute to start a baby

Look he’d start getting competitive (pls we all know how he is) and would turn it into a competition so be prepared for that lol 

But when his gingerbread house falls over he starts getting angry

Proceeds to drive to the company’s factory to break it down in his titan form (there’s no stopping him now) 

Gets Armin to join him and they smash the houses in their titan forms together LMFAOFNDND PLEASE IM WHEEZING- 

But for real, he’d probably get pouty, and turn into a whiny baby

Don’t call him out on it though he’ll just get even worse lol  

Shower him with kisses right after and he’ll be blushy but he’s fine dw about it 

He’ll get over himself eventually and then proceed to ask with a boyish grin on his face if you wanna give up and just eat the houses as they are

Making holiday cards with him 

When you bring up the idea his face lights up instantly it’s the cutest thing omg

I can see him bringing his own supplies to help with getting started

Envelopes, letter paper, markers. Hell, he’ll show up with glitter markers (those things are god-tier istg-)

he gets super flustered and red when you compliment his card

If you mess up on your card he’s totally gonna be there to cheer you up!!

don’t know how it happened but i feel like he sets up an entire thing in one of the spare rooms

and you two just paint the silliest things you can think of 

and at some point you two def play drunk roulette and try to guess what alcohol was what in each cup  

as for gifts the man is stupid when it comes to buying things 

he goes so overboard when spending money on you 

doesn’t buy like 15 million gifts but will buy you 3 or 4 SUPER expensive gifts 

and you sit there, opening them up and knew he would spend too much money so you also had to buy more expensive gifts

by the end of the night you two end up on the couch, cuddling under a giant blanket, and watching some hallmark Christmas movies smh

Are you named after someone? First off, the name I use online – Kaitlyn – is my real name. As far as being named after someone… like, not really? Though my mom has, on multiple occasions, told me about how Sheena Easton’s character on Miami Vice was named Caitlin, but she didn’t like that spelling so she changed it. So the name was brought to her attention from that, but she didn’t name me it because she loved the show or the character or anything. She just fell in love with the name.

When was the last time you cried? More like, when was the last time I didn’t cry?! Haha, jkjk. I am an emotional wreck tho. :] I actually teared up a bit earlier today, realizing it was N7 Day, and that sending me into the rollercoaster of feelings I get from Mass Effect in general, but there are also some super heavy feelings attached to the Trilogy for reasons outside the scope of the game itself. I guess. Idk if that makes sense, but it’s not something I’m gonna go into so publicly here. Do you use sarcasm a lot? A fair amount, yeah. But really only if I’m comfortable with people though. I’ve even had friends who don’t fully understand my humor/sarcasm and are like, “… seriously?” and I’m like, “… no.” :3

What’s the first thing you notice about people? Their approachability. I’m not insanely social, ya know? So when I’m meeting people or taking note of people, I tend to assess how approachable they appear. And yeah, some of that is how they look, but come on. The whole not judging a book by it’s cover thing is definitely a thing. I guess I just really know whether or not I’m going to feel comfortable with/around a person by the sense of approachability I get from them. It happens immediately, really. Mostly from the way they greet me, or introduce themselves to me, or engage with me. I gravitate towards immediately engaging people. If a person seems standoffish, I’m like… this isn’t gonna work probably. Which isn’t super great, because maybe some people are just having an off day and aren’t super into engaging at that time! But it is what it is, I guess. One does try to be better, though. ^^ Now, if we’re talking about online, it’s pretty much the same thing. I notice the way they present themselves, and you usually can really tell how approachable a person is by the way they talk through text and like, emojis and stuff. :] Being social online isn’t really any easier for me than it is in person, so if I’m looking at someone’s blog or something and I’m just like, “This person seems so great. i wanna thank mrs. terhune for being an idiot and sitting us next to each other and constantly getting our names mixed up bc it has to be the only mistake in my life that ended up in my favor. meeting you in 7th grade was honestly a breath of fresh air. you were my first friend out of the borough district and you are the only friend from middle school i am still in continuos contact with. i remember doing louis dances in the hallway and singing one direction to and from class. i remember coming up with nicknames for the boys we liked. i remember laughing loudly and smiling hard. i remember goofing off in the hallway when we were supposed to be writing poems. from 7th to 8th we drifted a little bc i was close with gracie back then but from 8th to 9th we picked it back up like nothing even happened. you were my locker buddy, my homeroom buddy, my french pal, and even tho i didn’t sit with you guys at lunch that much that year you were still my food buddy. i remember cornec not liking us because we talked so much and honestly it was so worth it. i remember key club and peer. garrett!!!!! i remember being crazy over taj and evan. i remember kevin!! gavin!! this year i feel we truly became obsessed with boys. from 9th to 10th we grew a lil closer than we were before. we were plopped into helle’s homeroom, which i am forever grateful for. we got lockers in our forever hallway. i think i was super obsessed with zach this year, i don’t completely remember tbh but when do i remember anything let’s be real haha. this is the year i started sitting with you and eimhie in the hallway by those pictures i think. and when we eventually moved to the window seat right? i don’t think we sat on the floor for that long! i don’t remember having any classes together- what year did we have english together? idk what year but i do remember hating miss fish lady hunchback omGGGGG from 10th to 11th we grew a lot together. you got rid of your GLASSES and i became VEGAN. honestly we bettered ourselves this year (even tho we were pretty great before) we were getting out of our awkwardish phases in my opinion. we had intro and soc w our adoptive dad jimothy, the original nuck was in one of them and your son luke and eduardo too. i became like obsessed with film this year i’m pretty sure. you talked me through a lot of issues this year, too. you were honestly there for me when things were really tough. from 11th to 12th is when we became the closest of close. people started to begin to call us bffs, we barely went to classes alone, we actually often ditched class to go to the bathroom and stalk the yung1s. you wanted to bang mr. case and mr. kavcak sooooo badly. we came out of our shells A LOT. What Ways Of Studying Work The Best?

Hello fellow learner!

I would say the best way of studying is using the way that helps you the most. For example, are you self learning chemistry or are you learning in school? It makes a huge difference. In school, subjects that don't excite me or subjects that I hate studying for are difficult and hard. Still, I managed to pass exceeding tiny expectations. Here I would tell you some of my tips and tricks for school:

Use your textbook wisely. People think that the best way to study using a textbook is reading it word for word the entire time. It's not. Before the beginning of a class, use 1020 seconds to flip through the chapter that the professor will be teaching this class. Look at the exercises, the main points, the titles, etc. You would want to be grasping the main idea of the chapter before the teacher starts teaching.

Ask questions! In my school, I've seen people who are too shy to ask the teacher for help, and I'm one of them! This includes exercises, concepts, or problems that you don't understand. ALSO: : : don't just ask teachers, ask students or your friends too! They might explain it in a way that a teacher can't.

Write Notes like a BOSS! Write down ONLY major concepts. Take the rest of the time to listen to the teacher. This is very important. Students spend too much time copying what's on the powerpoint/ slideshow that they tune out what the teacher is saying. If you catch the teacher saying important stuff, write them down.

Expand your notes after class. After class, take 5 minutes to add examples, compare it with friends, copy down things that you might have missed, etc.

Dedicate time to study for your subjects. Make a very simple study schedule at the beginning of every week. This should take 2030 seconds. Say how long you aim to study for chemistry everyday. Start small, and then go big. Be very specific about what you plan to study for during your study sessions. Persistance is key.

Study during the right time, and at the right place. I think that studying is best when done right after school. At night we tend to think of sleep and hot girls... LOL jkjk. But if you have more energy at night, feel free to study during the night. Just don't show me that 3-hour sleep badge in the morning. A good study environment is good too! It should be where you study usually. There must be as little distractions as possible. Make sure you got your stuff for studying so you don't run around in the middle of your study session looking for lead.

Study Groups are LITTTTTTTTTT. Man... I can't even explain how effective study groups are. Gather some of your best friends and study. But don't study like you do alone. Talk as much as possible. Try explaining the concept to your buddies without looking at the paper. Try solving a problem together without the textbook. Discuss and solve problems. Don't forget to buy a treat or go for lunch afterwards. This will make you wanna study in groups more often.

Next, I'm gonna give some tips on studying chemistry alone:

Chemistry is one big subject. Don't forget that. In every formula there's a connection, a bond with other formulas. Think of it like math. If you learn 1+1 there's always a connection to other areas of math. When you're studying formulas, always try to find a relationship, what areas it's describing.

Take the formula apart. When does it apply? What do you use it for?

Make a chart. It should show all the formulas, their relationships, applications, and their significance.

GRASS is stupid. You know the Given Required Analysis Solution Statement method they taught you? It's dumb and time wasting. You don't need that shit. Well... maybe only use it for questions that you can't figure out. You should be able to see a question, remember your formula, and find the answer.

Understand the lab. Master it. Pay expert attention on them. Especially the lab exercises. Remember: Ask questions. Find objectives in every exercises and know the procedure on how to complete it. Find relationships, significance, applications, etc.

And... that's all I could think of. Remember safety rules when you are at a lab. Don't forget that practice makes perfect. If you practice everyday for a week, you will develop a habit. If you receive a mark that you didn't expect on a test, it's okay. That one test doesn't determine what job you'll get, who you'll marry, how rich you are, etc. DON't GIVE A FUCK if it's in the past. Focus on the present and the future.

It was the next day once again. Last night was incredebly amazing! The angry voice of the irritating bitch Sasha was soothing in some kind of way. It was the morning on a saturday, wich is good news since they dont have any classes during weekend. Malva swiftly made her way out of the dorm (?) with a bagle in her mouth and a cup of coffee in her hand with a bright smile plasterd on her face. She quietly mumbled lyrics as she spun around. She walked over to a bench still as happy. Why was she so happy? SHE GOT SPONSERD!!!! As the instagram model fixed her phone in a good angle Vera walked up, clearly tired. "Hey. Why are you so happy?" The tired girl mumbled while taking a sip from her tea she had in a cup. "I got sponserd!" The happy girl replied with excitment. Vera spit her tea out. "HOLY SHIT! ABOUT TIME! WHOS SPONSERING YOU?" Vera said surprised. "By carlings! As you can probrably see by my clothes. They sent me a bunch of shit and i picked out the best!" Malva proudly announced. She was wearing a oversized fish-net t-shirt over a black cropped tank top. Aswell as a pair of carlings boxers with a pair of black shorts over (wow i went into to much detail HHHHHHH). "Thats great! You look so cUTE!" Vera made exclaimed while throwing out her arms alomost dropping her tea. Malva slightly blushed at the compliment and gave a smile. "naaaaaaaaaaAW THANK BB!" Malva took a seat at the bench infront of her phone getting ready to take a picture. Vera quickly moved out of the frame. Malva clicked the phone and it satrted counting down from 5. "Im having a hard time with my homework." Malva complained to Vera. "Yup i can understand that." Vera said and looked up at the annoyed girl. "Come on. Lets go get lunch and maybe out energy will restore." Vera stood up and motioned Malva to follow her. They both walked up at campus chatting away as they made their way to the main building where the cafeteria was. They both pulled out the food they had in their pockets (bcs they have big ass pockets owo). "Im gonna go and buy a cookie. The only good thing in this cafeteria." Vera said while walking to the counter where you buy shit. 

Malva quietly fiddled with her hands while from time to time, taking a sip from her ramune. "Hi!" Someone said and sat down infront of her. She looked up from her hands and saw Harrison sitting in front of her. "Oh hey! Magic dude!" Malva quietly giggled and got a small laugh in return. "Hey.. do you like card games?" Harrison asked and Malvas eyes lit up. "OOOO I LOVE THEM! Im not that good but sTILL!" She excidetly said overly happy. "Sooo... wanna play poker?" The magican said and pulled out a card stack. "Hell yea!" Malva said as Harrison started to blend the cards. 

Vera saw her happy friend talking to a boy who was dealing out cards for her and him. She smirked and walked past them slightly touching Malvas back as she slid by. Malva looked up at her and got double pistols and a wink in return. Neil and two of his friends walked into the cafeteria looking for the other two of their group. Neil glanced around the room and saw Malva and Harrsion playing some sort of card game. Neil slightly frowned and got frustrated. Wait... why was he acting like that? He felt jealous for some reason. 'god dangit! what is happening?? why  am i feeling like this?!' Neil thought to himself while glaring at Harrison. "HEY! NEIL!" Nikki snapped her fingers infront of Neils face. He quickly snapped out of it and got red from embarrasment and continued to walk with two of his friends.

Dear tumblr,

I’m gonna start off my posts like this. Hi it’s me. Ash. I’m back. Sorry I didn’t post much last January but you know me, I get lazy, and I procrastinate. I’m just gonna continue where I left off with my previous blog, 366daysof2016, though, I still can’t process that it’s already 2017. 

So how am I? Great. Honestly, not. Life is really really really complicated. It’s probably really simple, just me making things complicated, I don’t know.

 I actually have been worse. I thought I’ve already moved on from David. You see, I told myself that I already need to forget him and all, and I actually did. I met some guys on kik, some lasted on my chatbox, and some didn’t, but everything seemed okay. Everything seemed okay. Then for some reasons, I started cutting my wrist. I have plans to do it again sometime but, I can still hold it.

Okay back to the “David” topic. Everything keeps coming back and it was really hard for me cause I don’t have any space in my mind to think about him. I’m already thinking about a shit ton of crap in my head, and I don’t want to think about him anymore. I thought I already forgot about him. But everything keeps coming back.

So this one day, last Saturday, we went to an Amusement Park. Nothing connected to him at all. I had so much fun! I got home at around 11PM. Then I had a fucking dream. 

It’s the worst type of dream, cause I was lucid. I’m always lucid when I dream about him, so it makes it  even harder. In my dreame, he went to the Phillipines, he apologized. He did everything. I already kinda forgot, but one thing I remember is that it was fun. I had fun. I was happy.

The morning after, I realized how important he was to me, god I was thinking about him the whole fucking day! How I was so happy with him, how he made me feel special... The whole fucking day.

At around 10PM, I was on kik, just randomly flirting with strangers online. I did something impulsive. I messaged him. 

me: dude me: I fucking hate you so much me: I wasn’t done with you yet and you fucking blocked me. So here’s the time where I was supposed to reply another message cause I was gonna flood him with hate messages, but he fucking replied. Instantly. I didn’t expect that. He never replies fast.

Oh god I was so annoyed and so pissed and so nervous I felt everything at once. He didn’t even say anything. I wanted to hear something from him. I wanted an explanation. That was the only thing I needed to move on and yet he couldn’t give it to me.

Then he left me on read. But because I’m a creepy-ass stalker that knows his facebook account, I saw his post that he shared. The post said, “I like clingy. I’d rather have someone who blows up my phone and shows they care than someone who texts back 12 hours later” So I messaged him this morning. I didn’t care if I double texted.

So that was it. I notice that I keep on using the word ‘dude’. Idk what to call him?? Maybe I’ll refer to him as Jason soon. Back to his facebook though, he also shared a post that said, “I blocked my ex on everything but she somehow managed to message me through direct tv *a pic of that*”.. Well.. Was that me? Lol. I dont know!! Someone commented though, “Man, if she goes through that much trouble to try to talk to you I would have to give her a second chance haha” then he replied, “that’s true hahah” UGH ITS JUST SO CONFUSING. So that’s all I have to say about him.

Now I’m here typing this blog. I don’t know, I just wanna talk to him, on the phone. Maybe that’d clear things up, but for now, I never think about our future. I don’t wanna think about the next step, cause when it doesn’t happen, I’m just gonna be twice disappointed.
