Levi looking at one of those obnoxious singing Christmas toys you bought like 😒😑

The man HATES clutter or anything made to just lay around and build up dust. I don't think he'd even tolerate a plastic Christmas tree, much less one of the real ones i always get. The needles and sap would drive him insane, plus all the ornaments constantly falling to the ground. (He'd still diligently water it, scowling every time)

Not even just the noisy singing ones, i think he'd hate Christmas decorations period. The blinking lights are annoying, the tinsel just builds up dust and grime in all of the twisted plastic crevices. Wreathes just dry up and end up brown, gnarled and dead. He'd try to be nice about it, but would absolutely itch to throw everything out the moment you start decorating.

You might be able to convince him to get a Christmas cactus! He'd count that as a decoration!

he has a dog I’m not even gonna lie, he comes across as a dog person, he doesn’t care what breed but prefers big dogs specifically German shepherds he bought a dog when y’all moved in together and he’s actually really close with the dog, you named the dog bobo you chose the name cuz you thought it would be cute, the dog is very attached to eren

armin-

a cat, an orange tabby cat. Armin comes across as a more calm less crazy person meaning he would want a cat to chill and read with. He named the cat tangerine cuz it’s orange. You bought him the cat for Christmas one year since you didn’t know what to get him. It’s the wholesome moments, when you see him on the couch after work holding the cat, you fall in love all over again with your gentle small ray of sunshine

you may think that he has a horse but your very wrong, he has an annoying green parrot that calls you mom, you can simply walk by the change and you’ll hear “food mom?” And you eventually get used to it and get another parrot for them to play together and stop bugging you

Jk he has a dog still, you poor unfortunate soul, him and that dog do everything together, he has a border collie that joins you two in everything, taking a shower, the dog is at the door, using the bathroom?, the dog is staring into your soul, trying to leave? Bull dog off the bat, he has a big dog strong like him, they wrestle on the living room floor all the time, go on walks, play fetch, chase little kids- wait- what?! Yeah, they think it’s funny to chase children in the park especially the snotty teenager brats over in the corner doing some not so innocent things, the dog is a female named Presley very energetic and playful but don’t expect any unwanted visitors there will be none, middle of the night a robber comes ain’t no way that person getting out alive, maybe in a body bag but not alive.

a tortoiseshell cat with gold eyes, you guys went to an animal rescue center for your anniversary and he fell in love with this cat, he was begging you until you said yes I mean how could you not?! He’s batting those pretty green eyes while on his knees with the cat “please can we get her? I’ll do anything my love” it was a yes in that very moment and next thing you knew you were on your way home with a cat named pineapple don’t bother asking how that name came across his mind but it’s always nice to see him in one of his weird sleeping positions with pineapple splayed across his chest on her back

Erwin-

a lazy pug named Mr. There’s no question just a fat lazy pug that sheds buckets of fur.

Levi-

you begged him to get an animal and he kept saying no until he came home to you having bought one without his permission, he glared and looked pissed until that fat fluffy black cat looked him in the eyes with her emerald ones. He caved in. The cat was named jasmine and he allowed you to keep it because cats are very hygienic and easy to take care of. He hates changing the litter box but will do it for Jasmine. And when he does actually sleep it’s curled up with you and jasmine and absolutely precious, jasmine sits on his lap when he’s doing work and he shares his food with her all of the time strangely enough she loves lettuce, you’ll be in the kitchen making salad and she’ll prance over and sit there meowing for lettuce

Can you believe it? 2023 already huh, even though I haven't really been here for so long- asides from that I have no idea if people are even seeing this ^^" I do just hope you guys are all okay! swears it isn't his favorite season just because you're wearing barely any clothes for 4 months. he has other reasons he just......can't always remember them when you're laying out in a bikini

totally buys a giant waterslide and leaves it in the backyard all summer for the neighborhood kids

jean's a big concert guy. his happy place is at an outdoor cover band concert in mid-july with an ice cold beer and your hand locked in his <3

life goal is to save enough money for a summer home so his kids can create summer memories in a special little town on the coast

not religious, but his favorite holiday is christmas. he loves all the pretty decorations, the music, and picking gifts for all of his loved ones

1000000% dresses up as santa every year for the neighborhood kids and invites them all over to meet santa on christmas eve. like come hell or high water, he's putting that damn suit on and getting the kids on his lap

has to live somewhere it snows so he can build snowmen and sled with his kids

loves NYE too, the thought of a fresh start every 365 days is appealing to him

he loves all the opportunities he has to spoil you and show you how loved you are (christmas, valentine's, etc)

always wants to host christmas eve dinner, like a massive party with all of your friends and family and eventually the kiddos, even goes so far as to convince everyone to sleep over and leave the santa presents under your tree for the kids in the morning this happens so regularly that all your friends' kids are convinced that "santa only comes to uncle reiner's house!!" nothing makes reiner happier than a full house on christmas morning <3 <3 <3

He’d be very meticulous about which decorations go where, but you’re just gonna have to put up with that

But you felt like teasing him and he got all huffy and said it louder, obviously calling you a brat right after cuz why wouldn’t he

Ask him to make gingerbread houses!! pls he’d be so excited about it 

He’d even go to the store himself and get all the supplies on his way home and you both wouldn’t waste a minute to start a baby

Look he’d start getting competitive (pls we all know how he is) and would turn it into a competition so be prepared for that lol 

But when his gingerbread house falls over he starts getting angry

Proceeds to drive to the company’s factory to break it down in his titan form (there’s no stopping him now) 

Gets Armin to join him and they smash the houses in their titan forms together LMFAOFNDND PLEASE IM WHEEZING- 

But for real, he’d probably get pouty, and turn into a whiny baby

Don’t call him out on it though he’ll just get even worse lol  

Shower him with kisses right after and he’ll be blushy but he’s fine dw about it 

He’ll get over himself eventually and then proceed to ask with a boyish grin on his face if you wanna give up and just eat the houses as they are

She helps hang the ornaments onto the tree and the tree turns out to look so pretty

It’s so comforting you slowly feel like you’re about to fall asleep 

Make her some hot chocolate pls all she really wants is to cherish this atmosphere the two of you have created, all huddled up on the couch together

Watches hallmark movies with you, only to make fun of them (romance at it’s finest amirite) 

Popcorn fights while watching them

Wrap him up in a blanket while watching the movies, he’ll melt

ARMIN 

Making holiday cards with him 

When you bring up the idea his face lights up instantly it’s the cutest thing omg

I can see him bringing his own supplies to help with getting started

Envelopes, letter paper, markers. Hell, he’ll show up with glitter markers (those things are god-tier istg-)

he gets super flustered and red when you compliment his card

SUCH A CREATIVE BOI

If you mess up on your card he’s totally gonna be there to cheer you up!!

“Hey don’t worry, you can just start on a new one :D”

He probably won’t ask but he lowkey wants the card you messed up on cuz he thinks it’s cute

Makes cards for everyone and then takes you with him to deliver them

Would be really shy at the post office cuz he’s never done this before

Eventually, he gets the hang of it and ends up having a really fun time :D

Let him be the one to place the stamps on the envelopes, it’s ~therapeutic~ for him 

Overall, he’s probably the best person if you wanna use this as a healing opportunity tbh, the entire day is just filled with the calmest atmosphere one could wish for, and the smiles never leave your faces, even after you’ve finished

a/n: I believe this was an anonymous request for just Jean and hc’s about celebrating his s/o’s Bday - but I’ve expanded it to a general AOT HC post for more peeps to enjoy :) - I hope you guys like!! mwah

Jean

not one to necessarily go all out theatrics wise, but he definitely cares about it being meaningful

He gives you two cards every year, one to open up in front of friends and family that’s usually just a simple one that goes along with the actual gift (something very basic and probably a little silly lol)

But the second one has a handwritten note that’s a lot more personal and sentimental, definitely the kind of emotional letter that needs to be read in private for his emotional sake and yours

And you truly do get one every year

It’s about his favorite moments he’s had with you that year, his favorite moments to come, anything new he learned about you that he never wants to forget, etc. it’s honestly something he looks forward to writing you every year

Expect flowers and a little cake just for you in the evening - he doesn’t like making too big of a show of things so he waits until it’s just you too to give them to you. Or he’ll drop them off at your house in the morning as well

Dinner is also ALWAYS on him - whether it’s home made or y’all are going out, you better be sitting tf down while he treats you

And similar to the card, you usually get at least two “bigger” gifts from him

One just being a simple gift card or pair of shoes you’ve been eyeing

But the other is a little more personal; like a necklace with your’s and his own birth month flower pressed into the small pendant (very very cheesy man indeed)

Or a framed picture of what the stars looked like on the night of your first date

You get a cheesy hand made coupon every. Single. Year.

It varies from “one free hot steamy make out sesh ;)” to “one free ‘stfu eren I’m begging you”

And he has no shame - you get these in front of everyone cause he likes how embarrassed and grumpy you get when everyone starts giggling about how “silly and cute you two are”

You’d think it’s his birthday with how giddy he is all day

He wakes you up with the cutest little smile and messy bun (he kind of looks like a toddler who just woke up on Christmas morning - it’s very endearing so you look forward to it) and presses all kinds of kisses to your face telling you it’s your birthday like you didn’t already know

Not too big of a social media poster but he never fails to post a simple “happy birthday :)” under a pic of him giving you a kiss on the cheek while you were still in bed that morning

He gets his mom to make a big deal out of it too (as if she wouldn’t on her own) - she arranges you flowers out of her garden and makes sure to give them to you herself with a little piece of string tied around it with a little note attached

He’s very touchy and affectionate all day, more than usual, cause something about it being a special day for you just makes him all excited

Let me say this first, he has intentionally acted like he didn’t remember it was your birthday ONCE and it backfired and he felt like a complete asshole

PTA Meetings

A/N: Modern AU.

Basically some ships I ship when going to parental meetings cuz uwuwuwuwuwuuwu

EreMika (Eren and Mikasa)

During parental meetings Eren used to be the only person to go since he's like, "No, I'm the one going. Who knows what might happen to you?"

And when he gets home, a jealous Mikasa greets him—glaring at him.

It's like she had these senses and she was right.

The ladies in the parental meeting STARE at him (yes, even the teachers) then notices his ring and end up like, 😳 who the wife? (CUZ THEY NEVER SAW MIKASA BEFORE)

Ends up calming down when she sees their tiny ol'' child (THEIR CHILD WILL BE SO PERFECT THEY BASICALLY WON LIFE. I ENVY—)

So in the end, they end up going in parental meetings together and ofc, they've become clearly unapproachable, but stareable to the point the teacher just snaps and starts focusing on their job (like bro u gotta focus on work or u fired)

When they do get approached by other parents they wear their RBFs (proceed to google if clueless) and they still look FINE to which the parent is like 😳👉👈

But they'd just sit there and listen to what the teacher has to say and when the ladies stare at Eren, Mikasa has that dark aura around her (please insert AoT Junior High when Levi beat Eren up? or smth) and looks at them (the way she looked like when Historia and Eren talk scene)

I don't even know what to say about these two LOL

The fact their too busy is just ✨indescribable✨

And if luck has it that their both free from work and boom—parental meeting, they either go with an intimidating RBF, or simply no.

However, if they go solo, Levi would be stared at by all the parents and he glares at them (ofc they get terrified and back away or stop)

When it comes to Hanji, her smile or RBF already made her unapproachable to which she feels happy about it.

They'd wear their work outfits or coats (they'd rather wear something professional than wear something casual)

Basically they'd only go to parental meetings they (mostly Levi) DEEM important.

But once the parental meeting is over they'd usually go to a mall or park to hangout after "excruciating" hours of sitting down listening to the teacher's blabberings about solicitation and stuff and they DON'T like it.

So after going through that meeting and knowing their agendas and blah blah blah, to escape that kind of stuff—they plan something beyond that (yes, especially those Christmas parties and stuff they go in a vacation somewhere lol)

Whoever have them as parents, YOU'RE FUCKING LUCKY TO ESCAPE YOUR SCHOOL'S GATHERINGS AND SHIT LOL
