Felt like I wanted to get a closer look at their crowns for my story, so I made more detailed versions (once again, it's not that easy to get colors on these because of the limited color options on my tablet, and I'm still too lazy to hook up my actual drawing tablet to make proper versions of them, even if it's literally laying right behind me XD).

Anyway, as a small update for those who're following my Lumen series, I'm still working on writing the next story, and I'll hopefully get it out this weekend. It's just been a lot of exam preparations etc, as well as a pretty intense round of writer's block. It's also much longer than I intended (supposed to be around 15K... It's currently at 37K words and finally getting closer to the end XD Fun to think about how a day can be described so differently just depending on focus of the story, etc.)

So, yeah. Hope you enjoy some crown content XD

The Crown of the Swedish Heir / The Crown Princess' Crown

King Karl X Gustav's Crown of the Heir Apparent with its blue cap is the crown of Crown Princess Victoria. It was made in 1650 by Jurgen Dargeman in gold and set with pearls, diamonds, sapphires, and rubies.

The crown was made quickly for Queen Kristina's coronation in 1650. Only 17 days before the coronation, the Queen reminded the council that, according to tradition, the heir to the throne wore a unique costume consisting of a cloak, a crown and a cap. Jürgen Dargeman had just over a week to make a new crown for Karl (X) Gustav.

Because time was so short, Dargeman reused the crown created for Queen Kristina the Elder to wear for King Karl IX's coronation. He applied enamel decorations from the old crown and newly mounted stones to a freshly made plain crown ring with eight triangular points.

At the coronation, the crown is not worn directly on the head — instead, it is placed over a velvet hat, embroidered in gold and silver and edged with ermine.

The Crown of Sweden's Heir Apparent remains virtually unchanged to this day. The only alteration of any significance was carried out for the coronation of King Gustav III in 1772 when two of the lower sceptres were replaced with black enamelled corn sheaves, the symbol of the great Vasa dynasty.

King Gustaf V was the last to wear the crown (sans velvet hat), and it can now be seen at the Treasury at the Royal Palace of Stockholm, and the hat can be seen at the Royal Armoury.

imagine a story where they had to play a country music set and Reggie is the lead singer along with Julie and they're all wearing country attire and Reggie is all chirpy about it, he's totally on costume, boots, hat, chaps, all in red black and white. Julie is wearing a costume too but with gloves bc she doesn't have to play anything w chords. Even Alex is wearing a bandana and cowboy attire plus black hat. and Luke will be extremely annoyed with his costume and had and bandana but he's playing anyway and being good at it bc he can hate a song and still kill it.

Luke is being told what to do and to wear and neither of them is having him cuting sleeves of anything, he can take the flannel out later but he will be wearing it for the whole gig.

Luke would lose his shit to see Julie dressed in workwear, he's complaining about wearing the costume and she comes in she says "reggie wants it, you don't want to ruin it for him, now get ready and go find the boys" and he goes "sure thing boss" and Alex is right behind him and when Julie leaves he goes "Sure Thing Boss😍😍" But Luke is going down anyway seeing Reggie and Julie in costume.

But Alex is getting his payback by Willie showing up also in costume (except he's wearing shorts) and Alex becomes stupid at his sight.

if i tell u that Carrie is crazy for Dolly Parton and she is at the party that they're playing, and she's also on costume. But you know, on her way. and she just has to sing a cover of Jolene with Reggie. And it all ends with Carrie joining the polyamorous.
