People really are out there making art out of like. Scrap toilet paper and cheeto dust and its like go off fellas thats fucking bananas good for you but bad art supplies are beating me like merengue

Like I got art materials from family for Christmas and I want to use them so bad but its like. Pens that instantly dry out. Paper that tears into oblivion. Paint that has warnings for LEAD in it.

What do yall do with art supplies like this? I don't want to trade them to someone else and make them have to work with them, but they're borderline unusable and like. I'm worried not even safe to work with? :^(

This took forever for me to get to but this was a request from @jackthesilentgentlemenshark of Tiffany swimming with a tiger shark pup !! No scuba mask on this one since she's a doll :^) Ramblings about this piece under the cut because I have THINGS to say

I was so excited when I got this request!! I've never had someone submit aquatic prompts before (I'm more of a terrestrial focused guy myself) and with so much care! The request had tons of reference photos and was super accessible to me to work from I didn't need to have 100 tabs open or anything it was so nice! It was like a well prepped commission folder I was so happy!

Obvsly that isn't like. A requirement for submitting a request but it just felt like. So Interested and helpful that I wanted to say how much I appreciated it!

Because working on this was a pain in my butt anD IT WAS MY FAULT IT WAS. I insisted on trying to do it traditionally on paper I got for Christmas. Paper that I have been fighting against pilling and flaking and general degradation like a madman. With paint markers that started to dry up at warp speed 😭I even tried pasting fresh paper over damaged spots but it just didn't work, so I switched to digital...

This is what I worked on top of......................... it was a mess................

But I'm glad it turned out in the end! You can actually see some of the remaining metallic on the shark and the texture of some paper parts still coming through the paint over! I think it lended a really interesting scale texture personally B^) But yeah!! thank you again so much for requesting this and being so patient! ily!

No new art recently on main so have the Snoopy I made for my partner for Christmas 🥰

He's posable with an armature inside and I made up the "Peanut Feet" parts on my own :^) You can make everything from the booty up with THIS pattern

Made this opossum bag back in June and I am in love!! I still need to line it but this was one of my first projects so I learned a lot! Eyes are a bit smaller than directed but I think it adds to the charm
