Saturday, November 30 — SWYNRP Character Wishlist
First I'm going to list some characters that I'd like to play.
Joy Hepburn (FC: Lana Condor)
I still have a lot of love for Joy as a character and hopefully one day I might get to tell her story again.
Tumblr media
2. Roxanne Martin (FC: Sadie Stanley)
Another character that I would love to tell her story again.
Tumblr media
3. Professor Milo Thatch (FC: Jonathan Bailey)
I always have ideas for him and never feel like I can get the story right. Maybe one day.
Tumblr media
4. Romeo "Roo" DeRosa (FC: Froy Gutierrez)
I have an idea for him but nothing concrete yet. I just feel like he would be a great addition to Pride University and bring some drama to the dorms.
Tumblr media
5. Grace Tilly (FC: Nicola Coughlan)
Another character I would jump at the chance of telling her story once I figure out what I want to do with her story. She's just an interesting character and the fact that she is "immune" to magic intrigues me even more.
Tumblr media
6. Terrence Sparrowman (FC: Chase Stokes)
I find him interesting as a fairy because he probably does deep down care about the Magick and Fairy politics in Swynlake but he is too busy enjoying himself to actually show he cares. He just wants to have a good time and not get judged for it. Plus, he likes showing off his magic to anyone who will watch.
Tumblr media
7. Sylvia Marpole (FC: Quinta Brunson)
I find her interesting and the fact she has a magical artifact and that's the Pagemaster Bookmark. I used to watch that film when I was younger and I just love the idea of a character having that kind of power especially a librarian.
Tumblr media
8. Prince Naveen Charles of Maldonia (FC: Anirudh Pisharody)
He is a character I would love to tell the story of one day. He is someone that would definitely cause drama in the Pride U circle and he would live for the attention.
Tumblr media
Now, some characters I'd want to be brought in for connections.
Ron Stoppable (FC suggestions: Aidan Gallagher, Alex Wolff or anyone you think would fit)
Kim needs her partner in solving crime and who doesn't love a dynamic duo. Please someone apply for him!
Tumblr media
2. Bonnie Rockwaller (FC suggestions: Camila Mendes, Alisha Boe & Isabela Merced or anyone you think could fit)
Kim needs a good nemesis that isn't Dr Drakken and someone who knows her history from Middleton. Plus, they have the same abilities which would be a very interesting dynamic for the both of them. Also who doesn't love a strong female. Please someone apply for her!
Tumblr media
3. Monique Fox (FC suggestions include: China Anne McClain, Precious Mustapha & Lexi Underwood or anyone you think could fit)
Another strong female from the Kim Possible universe. I could see her and Kim becoming fast friends and gossiping about the hotties in Swynlake plus all the other drama that happens there. Please someone apply for her!
Tumblr media
Next, characters I'd like to see in the RP.
Mindy Di Stefano (FC suggestions: Mimi Keene, Vanessa Morgan & Hannah van der Westhuyse)
Tumblr media
2. Maximillian Goof (FC suggestions: Charlie Gillespie, Jonathan Daviss & Xolo Maridueña)
Tumblr media
3. Ashlé Boulet (FC suggestions: Sarah Jeffrey, Elisha Applebaum & Savannah Lee Smith)
Tumblr media
Finally, some FCs I'd like to see on the dash.
Victoria Justice
Tumblr media
2. Arden Cho
Tumblr media
3. Ncuti Gatwa
Tumblr media
4. Zoe Colletti

Pillocks with meaningful lives is the ludicrous equivalent of paedophiles forsaking their key pastimes!
By Stanley Collymore     The Daily Mail and its white racist     kind, which clearly likemindedly     and financially it discernibly     very eagerly panders to, readily fall into the     parameters of this poem I'm writing. Harry     was undoubtedly, with his mother's family     for the genuinely rather rational reason of     obviously literally attending the funeral of     his maternal aunt's husband and nothing     more. The said family that quite crucially     naturally consists of people, that fittingly     sensibly, generously and equally actually     rather evidently, distinctly genuinely love     and care about him and not the Windsor     one that very callously cruelly forced his     mother into a divorce; having previously,     and obviously very cynically used her as     a rather convenient Stepford wife brood     mare, for their own egregious purposes!         Likewise, pathetically stripping her     of all official status, simply to     placate her philandering     and serial adulterous husband Charles who     evilly, basically wanted to keep her at arm's     length! Similarly also in terms of these vile     Windsors, the exact same family, that very     racially distinctively constructed a second     best persons situation, evidently distinctly     and literally specifically for Harry, Meghan     and their mixed race family, solely kindled     by rather transparent, blatantly delusional     and demented, white supremacist racism.     Yet concertedly, really expected the same     Harry and Meghan, to effectively do tours     to places they patronizingly didn't want to     go to. So significantly therefore and from     my truly distinctive objective perspective     Harry's real family is unquestionably and     realistically the Spencers and discernibly     most certainly, quite distinctively not the     useless, literally fucking racist Windsors!         (C) Stanley V. Collymore     30 August 2024.           Author's Remarks:   One of the specific reasons why the Daily Mail and other UK media actually keep churning out these racist and meaningless, endless articles! These so-called writers and journalists of theirs evidently lacking any notable qualities or simply real news, fill their pages obviously with literally glaringly repetitive content to actually monetize their euphemistically referred to as work and as well, quite primarily, cover their bills! And rather essentially for them the Daily Mail and their ilk would never allow Harry to be discreet, as he is self-evidently worth too many clicks to them!         As for the Windsors it's expectantly hoped that these self-entitled mother fuckers reap the very same whirlwind that the Romanovs did! Fingers firmly crossed!         And likewise in terms of propriety I prefer a man of the cloth supposedly to keep his counsel, and nor like this asinine, purblind cunt DAN TANSEY who conducted this service, and evidently really seeking relevance for his fucking pathetic self to gossip about his congregation. And I wouldn't in the least be surprised if he's not another literally  fucking sick, Church of England PETER BALL!. After all these Windsors are well known for their odiously vile, very sick and distinctively intimate relationships with very serial paedophiles of the notorious ilk of Jimmy Savile, Rolf Harris, Bishop Peter Ball, discernibly as well undeniably Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and similarly the rest of such toxically, vile slimeballs like themselves!

Redneck Rampage (Hunting Down Jimmy Page)
The NSA, is an organization devoted to home (the term "Mitnick"), school (FPS shooters), and computer router (JPGs and browser bars, with traffic lights) privacy, in SIGINT (design of systems, cryptopsychology), HUMINT (theft of model in film, counter to MI-5, Freemasons), OP-INT (armed warfare, hunting of hackers), Persel (criminal undercovers, arrest of hackers on pedophile charges), Cyber Command (National Guard executions of cops, USMC, and military societies., spying on routers and records).
I was recruited for Persel, through the arrest of Andrew Stanley, for modem tap tools, and diamond hardcore pornography, through Sandra MacDonald and Silver Mace, "Khelkhet" and "Silver", as "Howitzer". I had been raised for Persel, by my mother; one Fuzzy Navel, age 21, and Budweiser, without wine, liquor, and liqueur, a staged suicides expert.
My target takedowns (spymasters, as Budd, the film character devoted to me):
Jimmy "Whitey" Bulger (Capcom Yakuza), OJ Simpson (DC Comics), Stan "Stan Lee" Lieberman (Israel Microsoft), Johnny Depp (USA FBI), Osama bn Laden (IRA Psychiatric), Benjamin Netanyahu (Likud Germany), Elizabeth II of Tudor (MI-6 Scientology), Dr. Isaiah Friedlander (Heaven's Gate France), George Lucas (Russian NKVD Snuff), Anton Sziandor Lavey (Mexico CNI), Dr. Jeffrey "Dr. Leo" Lange (Shah's Iran), "Dr." Hunter S. Thompson (USAF), Matthew John Scott Lennox (Jehovah's Witnesses).
Each one of these, used ECT, to provide for landscaping.
Ichabod Crane, my father, Jonathan Crane, my mother. Sometimes, it's just too good.
Whitey Bulger, worked the arcades racket, whole east coast.
OJ, gave you crack cocaine, for a cereal box, for a comics plot.
Stan Lee, was snitching authors, through the internet.
Depp, played Red Power, as Redcoats, me.
Osama, bragged about dill, Clerks 2.
Netanyahu, set up EON, as his service outfit, for Canada, the Nazis.
Elizabeth, put you in ECT, for leaving a cop or spy outfit, Django.
Friedlander, put you on talk show, for minors hookups with lesbians, Dommes.
George Lucas, put women in snuff parlors, to avoid IDf being killed as pedophiles, through Harcourt games.
Lavey, performed golf challenges, for wars, out of Mexico, for investment in teaching clubs, for pedophile cops, Bolivarans, the Corridos (cocaine cowboys).
Jeff Lange, sought to control the internet, for British oil companies, outside the control of MI-6, the Students Revolution.
Hunter S. Thompson, worked for Nixon, fearful of Charles Manson, Lincoln, after the Bugliosis took over the grocery racket, Donelans.
Matthew Lennox, converted all of Morocco, Istanbul, Iraq, and Afghanistan, out of Islam, with my false tell, as a slave; actually immune to Islam, a Muhammadan.

Just abolish the British monarchy, and they won't get any abuse, Robert Jobson. Simple!
By Stanley Collymore
You're pathetically talking through your vile ass Robert Jobson but as the very fucking, thoroughly ingrained; simply, and distinctly rather evilly, hypocritical and brownnosing, monarchical pillock that you unequivocally are, it's really one prime area of the human anatomy that discernibly evidently purblind cunts like you specifically are Robert, if not unilaterally, significantly and thoroughly too unquestionably characteristically and quite undoubtedly, rather solely uniquely familiar with, nevertheless know a great deal about and are naturally at home and fully at ease with!
For effectively, nigh on actually five years you Robert Jobson and your very simply similarly, odiously ilk at the Daily Mail have literally had a field day rather obsessively, evilly endeavouring to quite ruthlessly destroy the overall lives of Harry and Meghan, but more essentially and crucially particularly so that, distinctly and manifestly, discernibly of Meghan and Harry's own children, with vitriolically spun attacks on Archie, with Kate simply attendant with Charles' very own odious contribution when Archie was merely a foetus lodged in his mother Meghan's womb. But he wasn't going to be pristine white, in these noxious cunts minds, like Kate's own sprogs clearly were, and therefore Archie was undeniably fair game to this so manifestly obsessively social climbing, gold digger stalker, who in her relentless pursuit, got the idiot William  to succumb to her trollop wiles. Now he is quite literally sick of her, quite distinctively and discernibly; actually has his adulterous affairs, BOTH ways - as he rather obviously bats at both ends - while in literally marked contrast, Harry is as quite HETEROSEXUAL as they come!
And rather candidly, Robert Jobson weren't you likewise also, and very amply fed by consistent and still evidently, generally ongoing briefings, crucially from Charles, Camilla, William and Kate, equally along with those from their Palace flunkies and PR operatives, as the odious bribery of evidently mercenary prats like yourself and other rather demented, psychopathic, toxic vermin in the right wing and irrefutably Nazi media carried on relentlessly. And those of you, who were in on the attempted murder of Archie in South Africa forcing Harry and Meghan to hurriedly expedite their planned departure from the UK, now recently linked to the very latest attacks on their daughter Lilibet, with you very predictably not in the least Robert Jobson ever condemning any of the aforementioned; and now, asininely and rather predictably, we evilly have these evidently shit articles from you about Kate being trolled. Tantamount to the very likes of Jimmy Savile or actually Jeffrey Epstein if they were still alive naturally complaining about being labelled paedophiles. Actually, Kate Middleton is simply strictly a first rate troll herself! but obviously gets prime cunts like you to do her dirty work for her!
Have a referendum on the future of the UK monarchy if you think that this feudal and utterly useless institution is still fit for any purpose in 2024 and even further on into this 21st Century!  But you fawning sheep won't countenance that will you, as you're shit scared of what the outcome will really be. And while I'm on the subject these said Windsors are basically nothing remarkable to look up to, far less so people to actually fawn over; and most undoubtedly have far more dirt on them than your average white British family!
This monarchical family, quite obviously in my honest opinion should essentially have really thought about what they were simply purposely doing to Harry and Meghan and not have gratuitously embarked on the vile and racist campaign they really were from the very beginning of their marriage; KKK style, purposely engaging in! All four, of a really noxious bunch of assholes: Charles, Camilla, William and Kate; who, I've simply judiciously and from the outset dubbed the Gruesome Quartet! For what this obviously discernibly psychopathic and similarly too, sociopathic bunch of pillocks, who should have taken a rather serious look at themselves in the mirror previously have really done, is to simply, basically rather thoroughly unleash, as a result of their own distinctively obviously and evilly, odious actions against Harry, Meghan and even both their children is what's now distinctively being unleashed against them. But clearly evidently, rather noxious although however not naturally unquestionably very liberally endowed with a plentiful supply of intellectual acumen, what problems clearly these ingrained pillocks now stupidly think they shouldn't be actually having, sadly for them they brought it all on themselves!
And what an undeniably, actually asinine situation, utter cretins like you Robert Jobson, essentially actually quite crazily find yourselves in that you do quite vilely, stupidly believe that those of us that do truly basically disagree with distinctively having an unelected, autocratic, literally very incestuously inbred, evidently overly privileged, who've never truly  worked in their indolent lives nor basically earned the vast sums of money they have and keep secret about; simply don't pay a shred of inheritance tax; have their own private wills sealed for hundreds of years and who believe they're divinely entitled to whatever they already have while also simply scrounging a lot more ongoingly from the UK taxpayer as they discernibly unquestionably, quite clandestinely force elected British governments to crucially alter or expunged laws that they literally obviously don't like and which they really  do think would simply adversely affect their distinctly privileged positions - if evidently the above and a plethora of similar, quite outrageous behavioural practices on their part, simply cause anyone to actually really disapprove of them as our head of state, then literally  for the likes of you Robert Jobson to label and call such individuals trolls undeniably show what a pathetic slime ball and clearly sycophantic arse licker you actually are!
Essentially, hoping for a gong as well, are you dear boy?

COQUETTE
1927
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Coquette” is a three-act play written by George Abbott and Ann Preston, directed by Mr. Abbott, and produced by Jed Harris and Lee Shubert.
CAST
Frederick Burton as Mr. Wentworth
Elliot Cabot as Michael Jeffrey
Frank Dae as Ed Forsythe
Helen Hayes as Norma Besant
Andrew Lawlor, Jr. as Jimmie Besant
Una Merkel as Betty Lee Reynolds
Abbie Mitchell as Julia
Gaylord Pendleton as Joe Reynolds
G. Albert Smith as Stanley Wentworth
Phyllis Tyler as Ethel Thompkins
Charles Waldron as Dr. Besant
STORY
Norma Besant, a heartless belle of a southern town, falls in love with Michael Jeffrey, a crude and prideful mountaineer. Her father, a physician, is so displeased that he refuses to allow them to marry, orders Jeffrey out of his house, and, half-crazed, shoots and kills Jeffrey to preserve his family's good name. While he is awaiting his trial Besant commits suicide in a final effort to atone to his daughter for her unhappiness.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before becoming a hit on Broadway, “Coquette” stopped in Atlantic City for one week commencing October 10, 1927.  This was not Hayes’ first time at the Apollo in Atlantic City. She had appeared there in “Clarence” and “The Golden Age” in 1919.
Tumblr media
The Apollo’s front door was located on South New York Avenue but the side was along the world-famous Boardwalk. It eventually was converted to a movie theatre and was demolished in the 1970’s.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After leaving Atlantic City, “Coquette” went to Philadelphia before making one more New Jersey pitstop before arriving on the Great White Way, in Newark. This was a last minute booking because their Broadway home was not available until November 7th as originally planned.
Tumblr media
Hayes had a major career breakthrough with “Coquette.” This tragedy showcased her ability to handle serious dramatic material.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The production opened November 8th, 1927 at Maxine Elliott's Theatre in New York City and ran for 366 performances. Lee Shubert sold actress Maxine Elliott the land for this theatre in exchange for fifty-percent interest in it -- making Elliott one of the only female managers. In 1956, Elliott's heirs sold her share to the Shuberts, who then sold the property. When it was demolished in 1960 it was the only Broadway house below 41st St.
Tumblr media
While pregnant with her daughter, Mary MacArthur, Helen was starring in “Coquette” on Broadway. Helen became sick and had to leave the show, forcing it to close. Rather than pay-off the acting company, the producer tried to claim that Helen's pregnancy was an "Act of God" so that he was not liable. He eventually did have to cough up the money to pay the actors, but Mary was tagged as the "Act of God" baby.
Tumblr media
After closing on Broadway, Hayes also toured with the play, stopping in such cities as...
Tumblr media
The Bronx...
Tumblr media
and back to Philadelphia, where it had an out-of-town tryout.
Tumblr media
The play was filmed in 1929 by director Sam Taylor, but without Hayes, who was thought to be a stage actress, not photogenic. She was replaced by Mary Pickford (in her first talkie) who won an Oscar for the role. Not to be undone, Hayes made her feature film debut in 1931 and won an Oscar for her performance in “The Sin of Madame Claudet”.
“Coquette” was remade for television in 1955. That same year Hayes returned to Atlantic City, at least on stage, in Thornton Wilder’s “The Skin of Our Teeth” which is set on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.

What I read in 2020
2020 wasn’t a vintage year for reading. I only finished 66 books – my lowest count in recent years – and I didn’t discover anything startlingly new. But I was pleased that for the second year in a row half the books I read were by women and that I came close to hitting my target of six books in Chinese. I would have hit my Chinese target if I hadn’t started a 600-page book in October, but as that’s already going to be one of the top books of 2021, I’m not too upset about missing that goal.
Upping my Chinese reading was probably part of reason for the low overall count – one page typically takes around 10-15 minutes – though also responsible was over-reading during two weeks in home quarantine in March put me off books for a while.
As usual, I mainly read older books – ones not released in 2020 – and for once the amount of fiction I read comfortably exceeded the non-fiction. Of that fiction the highlights were Lydia Davis’s Collected Stories, Angela Carter’s Heroes and Villains and the second volume of The Plum in the Golden Vase.
Davis’s work is short – often very short (many of her tales are less than a page). Prose poetry? Sometimes, but not always. A lot of playfulness. But also with a power that builds as you keep reading, a few pieces one day, a few more the next, and the one after, and so on. Also her repeated determination to experiment, sometime using traditional forms, sometimes with new ones.
Carter’s book, from the late 1960s, moved through much the same collapsed-society territory as Margaret Atwood’s The Year of the Flood, but far more elegantly and to a more satisfying ending. I didn’t like her fairy stories, but this was tremendous.
The Plum in the Golden Vase, Volume Two: The Rivals – as good as the first volume. Better maybe. The best sprawling novel ever?
Aeschylus’s The Oresteia was another standout – read following last year’s Aeneid and Odyssey after consulting Richard Jenkyns’ excellent Classical Literature (an invaluable source of recommendations about what to read from Greece and Rome). No surprise that Aeschylus’s work has survived two-and-a-half millennia with its poking around matters that still bother human beings (families, states, etc).
Of the various books I read on Hong Kong, Kong Tsung-gan’s Liberate Hong Kong: Stories from the Freedom Struggle was the one I found most satisfying. Partly for its exploration of some of the darker, more violent aspects of 2019’s protests, but most of all for capturing the importance of what happened and so why it will be hard for the forces of repression to succeed in the long run. The only problem with this book is that it now seems to be almost impossible to get hold of.
Of the five books I read in Chinese, my favourite was in Cantonese (and so arguably not in Chinese): 麥花臣金將軍與白龍的對談 by  並明. An extraordinary piece of work, mainly about two young men from Hong Kong in Oxford talking about Hong Kong and philosophy, but also including voluminous footnotes on matters such as why certain characters had been chosen to represent words used in Cantonese that don’t occur in standard Chinese. If you have any interest in Cantonese I would say it’s a must-read – it’s the first time I’ve come across a sustained piece of writing using Cantonese as it’s spoken.
I also enjoyed 像我這樣的一個女子 by 西西 (Xi Xi, A Girl Like Me). I had read a couple of her books in English, and thought they were so-so. Actually, the problem was the translation. In English, her stories look simple; in Chinese, even I can tell that there’s a lot more going on, even if I’m not sure what it is.
What pointed me to Lydia Davis was her translation of Swan’s Way, my third version. My first reading was in 1984, when I thought it was amazing. Then, after reading the first two or three books, I decided to save the rest for some special occasion. That never came, so in the early 2000s, I read those first few books for a second time – again finding them amazing. This time round, however, I was rather less compelled.  I enjoyed it, but didn’t care for it. I’m now thinking I will never get round to finishing the whole thing.
