Kaeya, taking a complaint from a citizen: A bolt of lightning right out of the blue, hmm? Not a cloud in the sky. How strange. :)
Kaeya: It's funny. I recall seeing your name in a report the Acting Grand Master wrote about a mission she undertook yesterday. Something about laundry that blew off the line? Yes, I'm sure she was very helpful. That sounds like our Acting Grand Master. :)
Kaeya: You aren't the first person to complain about these spontaneous lightning bolts lately. I'm afraid our experts say it's a natural weather pattern, so there's little we can do. The Acting Grand Master is applying all her effort to calming this odd phenomenon, though, so it's probably best to leave her to focus on that if you don't want to experience it again. :)

✨️A literal child✨️
Thanks for hearing me out! For you ->->❤️
Baby you taking on the world aw
Tumblr media
DAMN SORRY FOR TAKING FOREVER!! i started fics before i answered my askbox :/
Aw i fucking love child reader stuff,
Lots of isekai animes/manhwa/manga do it and i eat that shit up everytime-
I also deeply appreciate when its not done creepily, like being turned 8 again, and having crushes on others who are... yknow, actually 8 yrs old or sm fucked up shit, like even if its 16 yr olds that doesnt make it any better, bc the protag will actually be like,, actually 20?!?!💀 the straights r wild man, i feel like it happens either way too, like its usually a male MC but thats just bc theyre more common tbh, like regardless of gender of protag 🥲
Sun: Child God Reader (you/they/them)
Orbit: Short Headcanons
Stars: Mondstadt ppl bc i don't show them i love them enough
Comets & Meteors: Content Warnings: none known & Trigger Warnings: none known.
Please comment any I missed. /gen
Klee has recruited converted you to throwing bombs with her.
You are the only leash on that child too and the only thing standing between Jean and full head of gray hair. 💀
Kaeya doesn’t know whether he’s endlessly worried or endlessly amused that the most powerful god is currently a child
if Jean isnt freaking out over ur whereabouts, Diluc is instead, and worst case scenario, Noelle/Lisa/Albedo is in charge of you
and YES someone has to look out for you, bc ur ass will just start making a hot springs spot like ur in ur teapot or smth in dragonspine (Albedo was fascinated it stayed warm despite the weather so he let you make it/enjoy it before asking u to restore natural order lol)
(Albedo has definitely asked to study you and, unfortunately for Jean, asked u to demonstrate several powers u have)
You do work as a lucky charm for Bennett tho so he does babysit u sometimes
it mostly consists of Fischl, Benny, and Razor “adventuring” by trying to do smth like who can jump on the Anemo slimes and ride them around longest
(the answer is you btw, u managed to get a small fleet of them to bus you around, the teens were simultaneously terrified running around below u to catch you and also amazed)
Noelle is so happy making toddler you all the pancakes you can eat, Sucrose had to stop her from going overboard and not just listening completely to kids when it comes to food
She is now very concerned with making you a balanced diet, tho she will still make u an ungodly tall stack of pancakes every now and then <3
They kind of all equally provide for you, obv ur their god, and ur a literal cutie patootie child, they cant just leave you
(also u might like move a mountain or change the weather or smth if they don't watch you so most are a little paranoid of that too)
Lisa gets u all kinds of cute outfits, still stuff you'd like, but definitely snuck in some sumeru looking clothing lol
Fischl lends you all kinds of books to read, Bennett shows u all the cool views in the city and outside of it (when Jean lets him get away with taking u that far), and Razor…
Razor brings you to Andrius and the wolf pack for a wolf pack party and gives u all kinds of shiny trinkets he’d collected for you
Diluc/Jean/Noelle/Eula nearly had a heart attack when they found out
Amber lets you have all the piggyback rides you want lol
she even managed with her own crafting powers (and your probably editing the game code or smth) she somehow makes a reinforced glider with a small harness on the back for you to glide with her
(Venti has definitely helped for some fun flights by boosting the winds for you two)
SPEAKING OF BARBATOS
ur absolutely spoiled rotten by him (and Dvalin, and Andrius, and the wind sprites)
if this god had money he’d spend it on wine and you lol
takes u flying all the time, any time, would drop everything to go to Mondstadt wilds and use his archon form wings to take you wherever you wanna go
tries to bring u to Angel’s Share but Diluc nearly hits him on the head with a wine bottle and brings you back home after kicking Venti out and giving you grape juice (yes you get all you want, within a healthy amount)
anyway the most important part abt you being a god and child is that you can now fulfill your childhood dreams of riding a dragon whenever you want
(one way to quickly get Mondstadt citizens to trust Dvalin again was just constantly seeing him flying overhead, occasionally seeing a small child on his back also helped lol)
(neither you nor Venti tell Jean you ride Dvalin and keep it an active secret from her.)
srry i took so long! i hope u liked my hot mess of writing (i think its even sloppier than usual bc of all the fic writing full sentences lately)
and if not, I'm sorrryyy 😭😭
I'm focusing on getting thru a haul of asks before getting around to posting that Eldritch AU Part 2 if anyone reads this :)
hope u guys are have a great weekend, thanks for all the birthday wishes!! :D
Safe Travels Anon,
💀♒

Life of the Party
Pairing: Beidou x Ningguang
Tags: Jealousy, Possessive Behavior, Possessive Sex, Scissoring, Vaginal Fingering, Party
Summary:
Ningguang is hosting a charity benefit for the orphans of Teyvat, and has to keep up appearances - which means Beidou has to make herself scarce. Try as she might, the Tianquan still can't get her off her mind. The captain can't help the fact she draws the attention of such gorgeous women, but knows her girlfriend won't be happy.
Read on Ao3
It shouldn’t hurt as much as it did. Amid the hundreds of specks of lantern light, she couldn’t take her eyes off Beidou. She knew staring for too long would be ill-advised – this was an event hosted by the Tianquan of Liyue, after all. Illustrious benefactors had come from all across Teyvat to attend the first annual Benefit for the Future, a fundraiser for orphaned children of every nation that had been Ningguang’s life-long dream. And the woman who had inspired it was everywhere but at her side.
Alas, this was normal. There was absolutely no way she could be seen with the captain’s arm around her waist as she saw so many others here tonight. Due to the nature of Beidou’s work, how close they truly were could never be made public, for both their safety. Of course, this had never stopped them from meeting in secret. Outside of the bedroom, the Tianquan was a woman to be feared. A mastermind of business and trade, her commanding presence could make even the most experienced mogul shake in his boots.
Behind closed doors under the pretense of fines, the captain was the only person who could make her fall to her knees. What they lacked in public presence, they more than made up for in heat and ferocity when Beidou docked at port. Ningguang had tried so hard to fight it. She told herself she was only scratching an itch and this was nothing but a mutually beneficial arrangement between two women who had known each other for years. It was comfortable. It was convenient. It was…love. After attempting to deny it with her entire being, she had no choice but to relent.
The captain had always understood the agreement. In the streets, she simply did the Tianquan’s bidding for the good of Liyue. But when it was just the two of them, she was the ever-devoted lover of the most powerful woman in the Harbor of Stone and Contracts. After her own rough childhood as an orphan, Beidou had seen Ningguang’s heart for the new generation, ensuring no child was ever treated as a curse, as an unspoken vow to her.
When Ningguang brought up the idea of hosting a yearly celebration to help raise awareness and mora while they were curled up in bed together, she had held her close and asked what she could do to help.
“You’ve got nearly as many connections as I do, so rally whoever you feel worthy to the cause. But, please remember…we cannot let on we are closer than two people with a similar goal.”
“Ning…”
“I know how hard this is, trust me. It’s no easier for me, I assure you. Please. Eventually we can make it public when the time is right. But now is not that time.”
Not wanting to ruin the evening, the captain had held her tongue.
Now that the event had arrived and Beidou looked sharper than ever, the Tianquan was deeply regretting her decision to delay announcing their relationship. Ningguang had ensured her secretaries selected an outfit that would keep attendees in awe while also capturing the eye of her captain – for after those invited had taken their leave, all bets were off.
She scanned the crowd to take her mind off of her and noticed numerous familiar faces – the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius Jean Gunnhildr was making rounds with renowned mage and girlfriend Lisa Minci. The couple had always been willing to meet with her when it came to securing the Mondstadt-Liyue border against the many monsters that roamed the vast spaces between the two countries. The Kamisato siblings were chatting with a group of merchants. Ningguang had found Ayato to be a capable leader and even provided him with a limited-edition copy of Liyue Millennial after learning he was enamored by games of strategy during their last meeting.
As the Tianquan sauntered over to the bar to procure a second glass of wine to calm her nerves, she felt a light touch on her shoulder. Turning her head, she was relieved to see it was Lady Arlecchino. She was no stranger to the Father of the House of the Hearth. One of the most esteemed orphanages in Teyvat, the two women had bonded over their desire to provide shelter and support to the next generation.
“Please, Lady Ningguang, allow me,” she purred before handing the bartender a fist full of mora.
“My, it feels like ages. How have you been, Lady Arlecchino?”
“Much has changed since our last interaction. May I tell you something in confidence?”
“You know there’s nothing I love more than secrets,” she replied with a smirk. They walked together to a corner of the venue that was clandestine enough to where they wouldn’t be heard but not concealed enough to be suspicious. The Knave pointed to a small group, and Ningguang felt the blood in her veins turn to ice.
A circle of Fontainian women had formed around none other than Beidou. A tall, voluptuous blonde with curves that nearly put hers to shame, an elegant and dapper woman with dark hair and a pistol strapped to her side, and an adorable younger lady with white hair streaked with blue and a sharp sense of style all looked to be deep in conversation with the captain of the Crux. Her captain. Who was now smiling brighter than ever at something the golden-haired woman had said to her.
“I don’t know if you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting with the President of Fontaine’s Spina di Rosula? Navia Caspar? She’s the one in yellow. Standing next to her is her fiancé Clorinde, our nation’s champion duelist.” Ningguang felt her grip on her glass loosen and was silently thankful she hadn’t shattered it.
“No, but I have a feeling that’s a connection I will need to make.”
“It’d be beneficial to the both of you, really. She may be young, but she’s been through unimaginable loss, this last year especially. Her parents are tragically no longer among the living. Clorinde was also abandoned as a child. Thankfully they grew up to be heroes of Fontaine.”
“I really must introduce myself then…”
“Yes, but there’s more. The petite one.”
“Ah, I believe I’ve seen her before, but have never met her in person. Archons, isn’t that Furina de Fontaine?”
Arlecchino couldn’t help but grin with pride. “It is indeed. And also my lover.”
Ningguang had to stop herself from choking on her merlot. “I’m sorry…come again?”
“It’s not public knowledge, of course. But I trust you and had to tell someone.”
“Please don’t take this the wrong way, but…you two seem like polar opposites.”
“Do we? I could say the same about you and Captain Beidou.”
This time the Tianquan did sputter on her wine.
“Arlecchino! How…just…how?” she hissed quietly.
“Oh, please. You two are about as subtle as a pair of hilichurls. Don’t fret, I have no intention of outing you to those who are dull enough to not see it. I just wanted to say I can sympathize. It’s not easy having to keep up appearances. If you ever need to talk, the hearth is always lit for you.”
Ningguang’s features softened. It felt good to know she wasn’t the only one who had difficulty balancing outward opinion with matters of the heart. “Likewise, you know. I’ve still never been able to beat you at chess. I hope Furina challenges you in ways no one else can.”
“Oh, that girl is a challenge, alright. In more ways than one. Come. If we approach them together, we won’t look as suspicious.” They glided over and Beidou immediately looked up to catch the Tianquan’s eye.
“Hey, the woman of the hour! I was just telling my new pals Navia, Clorinde, and…ah, shit. I forgot your name, little lady! Sorry, I’m on my third beer. But who’s countin’ right?” She laughed boisterously.
“That would be Lady Furina, captain…” Arlecchino interjected. “…the former archon of Fontaine.”
“Oh, fuck! I mean…my sincerest apologies! I had no idea, your highness,” she corrected herself with a slightly swaying bow.
“Don’t be silly, Beidou! We’re all friends now, right? Lady Arlecchino did say former. I’m just regular old Furina now,” she replied gently.
“You are anything but regular,” Arlecchino corrected. After a slightly awkward silence, the women swapped introductions. Then, Beidou stepped forward.
“And a proper greeting for the wonderous woman of Liyue,” she murmured as she took the Tianquan’s hand and brought it to her lips. Ningguang’s glare burned into her. The captain understood she was doing something she shouldn’t, but she also knew being surrounded by a flock of gorgeous women from a far-off nation probably wasn’t the best look.
“It’s a pleasure to see you too, captain. I hope you’re enjoying yourself?”
“Good food, good booze, good company, and all for a good cause. Can’t complain!”
Ningguang narrowed her eyes in warning.
“Excellent. Knowing you, you’ll make new friends wherever you go, hmmm?”
“Never a bad idea to have connections, right?”
“Indeed. Well, I really must make my rounds. I do hope you all enjoy yourselves. Captain Beidou certainly knows how to spin a tale or two. Until we meet again.”
Ningguang reluctantly made her way to a group of high-powered merchants not much further away with Arlecchino in tow. This was still a benefit event, after all. She needed to work their purse strings as much as she could for the sake of the children. Letting the Knave do most of the talking, she tuned out to eavesdrop on the conversation occurring behind her.
“Oh, my, captain! You live such a life of adventure. Tell me, you must have had many lovers all across Teyvat,” Navia exclaimed thanks to the ample amount of wine she had consumed.
The sip of beer Beidou had taken slipped down the wrong part of her throat and caused her to cough hard. “Yeah….well…I guess you could say that,” she stammered. It was important she keep up appearances by not letting on that her heart could only ever belong to one woman.
“No need to be shy! I mean, it must get quite lonely at sea.” Clorinde put her arm around Navia’s waist, squeezing her side gently to try and signal her to stop talking.
“Of course it does! Even with a crew, it’s not the same as having someone there for you in a more intimate way. But you make do with what you have at the time.” Beidou wasn’t exactly lying. She did make do with photos of Ningguang or mental flashbacks of previous liaisons together.
“Well, if you’re ever in Fontaine, be sure to come find us. The Nation of Justice has many eligible bachelorettes…I think you and Chevreuse would hit it off,” Navia continued.
The captain chuckled nervously. “I appreciate the thought, but I’m really a lone wolf. I barely have time to sleep let alone get tangled up in the sheets,” she joked so as not to offend her by saying no outright.
Clorinde leaned in and whispered into Navia’s ear. “Love, I think she’s taken and just doesn’t want to embarrass you. Let’s change the subject, hmm?”
Desperate for a diversion, the captain glanced around and found the perfect one. “Eula! Geez, why didn’t you tell me you were gonna make it!?”
The Tianquan’s ears perked at an unfamiliar name being called. Who? A strong, slender woman with light blue hair waved back at her girlfriend. Clearly, this wasn’t the first time they were meeting.
“How could I miss the chance to drink with you again, my friend?”
Again?? As in…more than once? Beidou had some explaining to do. Ningguang knew the captain’s tolerance for alcohol was higher than her own, but she never overdid it to the point she would make a mistake by letting it cloud her judgment - unless, of course, they were together at home.
She trusted her with her whole heart, but knew the long periods at sea couldn’t have been easy. The Tianquan would be lying to herself if she said there wasn’t always a small part of her that feared the worst.
“If I hadn’t come, I’m sure you’d be the one seeking vengeance against me!” Eula continued. “Now then, where’s that girlfriend of yours you never shut up about?” Beidou’s eyes snapped open.
“Haha, man, you sure are a kidder, aren’t you? I see your flaggard is empty. We can’t have that now, can we? Excuse me, ladies,” she said as she grabbed the knight of favonius by the arm and led her back to the bar.
Ningguang’s curiosity was peaked. She wondered how much Beidou had revealed to this mystery woman about their relationship. To see them so close did bother her, but for the most part, she seemed harmless. Feeling more comfortable about the situation, she turned her attention back to the deal Arlecchino was currently orchestrating with the merchant guests.
Having secured a tidy sum that would be shared between the House of the Hearth and the Liyue Youth Fund, the two women went on the hunt for more. An hour passed and the Tianquan was thoroughly impressed by the Knave’s negotiating skills.
“You’re incredible at this, you know,” she said.
“What, this? This is simple compared to facing down any of my harbinger colleagues,” Arlecchino stated between sips of her drink. Her eyebrows suddenly shot upward. “Oh, no…Ningguang…I think we may need to intervene.”
She turned and indicated what was now occurring between Beidou and Eula. The captain of the reconnaissance company had clearly had one too many. Leaning against the captain’s arm, her hand now wandered to her bicep.
“*hic* Jeez, Beidou! You need to share your workout routine. If I had arms like these, I’d be able to wreak *hic* my vengeance on anyone who dares sully my name!”
A look of worry flashed across Beidou’s face as she quickly glanced around to see who was watching the interaction. Ningguang’s eyes met hers and she knew she was not going to have an easy rest of her night.
As if on cue, Arlecchino’s commanding voice boomed across the room. “May I have everyone’s attention, please? I’d like to propose a toast. This has been such a lovely evening, and on behalf of both the Liyue Youth Fund and the House of the Hearth, I’d like to express my gratitude to the Tianquan for her hospitality tonight. She’s been gracious enough to give me a platform to tell you about some of the work we’ve been doing in Fontaine, and I’m happy to report that…”
Immediately, Ningguang knew the woman was giving her an out. She silently mouthed “thank you” and trudged toward the exit. Trading a glance with Beidou, she expressed everything she felt by saying nothing at all.
The captain sighed and shook her head.
I’m fucked.
———————
The Jade Chamber was silent, as it was all hands on deck for the event down in the city. Ningguang was grateful she had a place away from prying eyes to come down from the anxiety that now thrummed throughout her body.
Her head rested in her hands as she took deep breaths to try and regain control of her emotions. Why? Why was it so hard for her to watch Beidou interact with people she knew had no ill intent? What right did she have to be this jealous when it was she who was constantly reminding her to be cautious about revealing their connection?
Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.
“Ning? It’s me. Open up,” the captain’s familiar voice whispered. The Tianquan rose and unlatched the door. She refused to look at her but let her in all the same.
Beidou reached out a hand. “Baobei…”
Slapping her away, Ningguang turned. “Don’t. Don’t call me that after what I’ve seen tonight. I told you not to make our relationship obvious, not to make it seem like you were ready to fuck anything that had a pulse and was breathing.”
“Ningguang.” It sounded like she was speaking a foreign language. She hadn’t called her by her full name in ages. “You’re overreacting. If you’d just let me explain…”
“There’s no need. I’m fine. Go back to the party and enjoy another five beers with Eula. I’m sure she’d enjoy the aftertaste on your tongue.”
“Archons! Are you kidding me right now? You’re being fucking rid-” the captain caught herself. After years of learning how to deal with her, she knew well this wasn’t the way to handle the situation.
“Baby. Please. I just need to know how I can make this right,” she whispered as she approached her from behind. Gently, she moved Ningguang’s hair from her shoulder and kissed the skin she had bared. “How could I even think about another woman when you look this gorgeous?”
“As gorgeous as all the other ladies that were gathered around you tonight?” She huffed back.
“What other ladies? As far as I’m concerned, they didn’t exist. I couldn’t take my eyes off you. Their presence was the only thing stopping me from dragging you off to the nearest private place and ripping this off you.” She slowly unzipped the back of the dress, kissing down her spine as she did so.
“You know you’re not getting off this easily,” the Tianquan warned as she turned to face her. “Undress yourself,” she commanded as the captain did as she was told. Grabbing her by the chin, Ningguang forced her to look at her. “You are mine. Is that clear?”
Beidou nodded in agreement before her girlfriend pulled her close and pressed her lips hard against hers. A soft moan escaped her as she felt the Tianquan trail kisses down her chest. Her mouth reached her breast, and she swirled the flat of her tongue against her nipple.
“Nobody else gets to see or touch you like this. There isn’t a single person in all of Teyvat who will ever make you feel as good as I do,” she said before biting down on her perched nipple.
“Ah! N-nobody but you!” Beidou gasped out.
Ningguang hummed with approval. “Very good. Now get on the bed.”
She obeyed, lying down with her head on the stack of plush pillows. The Tianquan moved between Beidou’s legs and interlocked her legs with her lover’s. Lining their cores together, her hips rocked slowly back and forth. The captain leaned on her elbows to leverage herself close enough to kiss her.
Ningguang slammed their bodies together, all the anger and tension of the night fading away with each stroke of her clit. Beidou sat up further and pulled her in closer.
“Ning…fuck…archons…” she gasped. Her girlfriend kept her steady rhythm, bringing them both ever closer to the brink.
“Come with me my love,” she groaned.
As the two climaxed together, Ningguang dragged her nails down the captain’s muscular back. Beidou let out a sound that was a mix between a yelp of pain and a moan of pleasure at the feeling of scratches she left behind.
“Now that you’ve been reminded of who you belong to…what would you like to do?” The Tianquan asked as she wrapped her arms around her neck.
“I sure as shit ain’t going back out there when I’ve got you here all to myself. I believe I owe you a proper apology,” Beidou replied before flipping her beneath her. Whatever Ningguang’s answer may have been, it was muffled by the captain’s eager mouth on hers. She felt her canines sink into her bottom lip at just the pressure she liked - not enough to break skin, but hard enough to hurt so good.
“Out there you might be Liyue’s, baby, but in here, it’s I who own you. Face down, ass up,” she demanded as she slapped her behind. Ningguang throbbed with need for her. Crawling into position, she felt the tips of the captain’s fingers tease her soaked opening.
“Ah, so I see you won’t fight me when it comes to this. All I have to do to tame the brat in you is get a little rough? Simple enough.” In one smooth motion, she thrust two fingers into her from behind.
“Oooooooh fuck!” The Tianquan cried out.
“I could never be satisfied doing this with anyone but you, love. The sounds you make are too fucking hot,” she murmured as she pumped steadily. “When I’m out at sea, I can only ever get myself off picturing scenes like this. You’re being so good for me, taking my fingers like this…”
The feeling was so intense that Ningguang‘s teeth gnashed into the pillow beneath her as she rammed her hips backward to drive Beidou deeper inside.
“Fuck…such a good little whore…practically fucking yourself while I sit back and watch…”
“B-beidou…hahhhh…fuck…please…”
“Oh, so that smart mouth of yours can be polite. I suppose I should reward you,” she taunted before reaching around to stroke her clit with her other hand. The feeling made the Tianquan’s eyes roll back. She lost herself in the sensation and crumbled under Beidou’s expert touch as stars burst behind her eyelids.
Utterly spent, both women held each other tight as they listened to the distant sound of partygoers enjoying the rest of the evening through the open window in Ningguang’s chamber.
“I’m sorry I was a distraction tonight. For what it’s worth, I think your event was a hit. These kids are gonna have so many opportunities they won’t know what to do with them. All because of you,” Beidou whispered.
“I only wish I could have done the same for you when we were growing up. I used to cry myself to sleep at the thought of you not having anyone to tuck you in at night. Life was hard, but at least I had a mother and father who encouraged and supported me.”
Beidou gave the other woman a squeeze. “Hey, now! Let’s not dwell on the past. Look who I have to come home to now! Ning, whenever you fear the worst, remember - you’ve given me the best.”

Mondstadt characters headcanons: when they go to bed (and when they get up):
Jean: if she had it her way she’d be in bed by 9/ still she’s fairly diligent about being asleep before midnight (she gets up super early in order to have 20 mins to herself)
Lisa: goes to bed at 10 no matter what— she values her beauty sleep— she learned from her experience as a student that staying up super late was actually less productive; she will lay in bed reading for at least an hr tho (ideally she gets up around 9-10, don’t talk to her before coffee)
Klee: Jean set her bedtime, 8:30, and she does everything in her power to fight it/ she is always asleep by 9/ can’t sleep without dodoco (she’s awake as soon as the sun is)
Albedo: the most fucked sleep schedule you’ve ever seen, his logic being “well technically i’m not human so i don’t need sleep” which isn’t really true/ will literally go days without sleeping and then just pass out/ turns out yes he does need sleep just less of it but even then he’s still not getting enough (wakes up whenever something finally disturbs his nap)
Sucrose: goes to bed late-ish/ tries to be good about going to bed but often gets wrapped up in her work/ generally gets tired around midnight and is asleep by 1/ gets cold easily so she sleeps with multiple blankets/ i get the feeling she’d love asmr but alas… instead i think she would leave the window open to hear the sounds of the city, which is ironic bc she gets cold (gets up at a reasonable time but not exactly happy to be up either)
Kaeya: runner up for worst sleep schedule in Mondstadt/ often falls asleep working and will wake up hrs later with a sore neck/ at home he sleeps on his couch more often then his bed/ has accidentally been found asleep at his desk the next morning more than once/ it’s not healthy but he’s learned to function on only a couple hrs of sleep each day (if left undisturbed he typically wakes up around noon)
Diluc: ideally he’s in bed by 9/ the only thing that keeps him from his bedtime is his vigilante work which he tries to wrap up before midnight so that he can be asleep by 1/ not immune to the “falling asleep at his desk” disease/ usually Adelinde finds him and makes him go to bed/ requires his eight hours/ gets hot easily but likes the weight of the blanket so he will sleep with his feet sticking out/ sleeps in the middle of the bed (usually the sun wakes him up/ has a hard time sleeping in)
Rosaria: often stays up late, though she doesn’t fight sleep/ usually manages to sleep around 1-2 in the morning/ is a light sleeper and tends not to sleep very well (gets up late/ it’s pretty much expected at this point that she isn’t going to make it to any early service)
Barbara: has a bedtime that she strictly adheres to/ also has a whole nighttime routine/ is asleep by 9:30 (gets up extremely early to work on her own personal projects, like song writing etc.)
Mona: horrible sleep schedule/known to go bed at 4am/ often takes naps in the evening which ruins her schedule/ gets invested in projects and will work on them through the night/ has a lengthy nightly routine that she will do in the wee hrs of the morning (wakes up in the afternoon/ do not make morning plans with her she will be there but she will be a nightmare to be around)
Fischl: would go to bed later but she still lives with her parents/ they force her to be in bed by 11/ reads in bed until midnight and is fully asleep by 1 (generally awake by 9)
Eula: goes to bed ridiculously early so that she can get up ridiculously early/ has a nighttime routine and cannot sleep with any light/ wears one of those sleeping masks (typically uses the morning to exercise)
Amber: goes to bed around 9-10 usually/ super sound sleeper, very hard to wake her up/ has a tendency to move around a lot in her sleep (is a morning person)
Bennett: everything I said about Amber but also he drools/ often falls off his bed (his dads have learned to be up before him so that he won’t attempt to cook breakfast by himself)
Razor: goes to bed when the sunsets wakes up with the sunrise/ very diligent about this schedule/ light sleeper/ tends to prefer harder mattresses/ gets hot easily so he usually discards his blanket (wouldn’t say he is particularly a morning person not that he’s grumpy it’s more that he literally can’t sleep with the sun out)
Noelle: goes to bed early bc she has to be up early (has to be at work but also bc she trains beforehand)
Diona: doesn’t have a bedtime, or at least not one that is enforced/ she usually is asleep by 11/ tends to be a light sleeper (gets up around 8-9 but is not a morning person/ very grumpy for the first hr of being awake)
Venti: does he need sleep??/ sleeps for fun whenever he wants to/ naps often so he has no schedule/ nobody knows where he goes after the taverns close (a morning person/ loves watching the sunrise/ ppl hate being around him in the morning bc he’s far too energetic)
Mika: strict schedule/ whole day is thrown off if his sleep schedule is not maintained/ has a hard time getting to sleep bc his mind loves to supply him with awkward memories (wakes up early/ does not like sleeping in)
+ Dainsleif: he wishes he had a bedtime/ he used to but that fell apart when khaenri'ah fell/ was always a light sleeper but his sleep is worse now bc of the curse/ sleeps in small spurts/ not-so-secretly misses his fancy fluffy white bed (not exactly a morning person but enjoys being up early and the peacefulness of the morning)

Could you do “wrapping your arm around their waste” with Ningguang,Jean,Ganyu and Baal?
Wrapping Your Arm Around Their Waist
Characters: Ningguang, Jean, Ganyu, Raiden Shogun x gn!reader
Warnings: none
A/n: Yes! this one is a bit shorter so I hope that’s okay
Tumblr media
• Do not attempt to wrap your arm around Ningguang’s waist when she’s in a professional setting. I repeat do not. She’s not the biggest fan of PDA, and if you violate her space she will give you the longest silent treatment and boycott you in addition.
• Behind closed doors she’ll apologize for neglecting you, telling you there’s a time and place for things. As much as she wanted to be a power couple in Liyue, her deals would be harmed by such a public display of affection.
• In private, She would insist you place your arm around her waist. She’ll grab your arm and wrap it around her, latching onto your arm as she looked at you with demanding eyes.
Ningguang was finalizing on some business deals, shifting through her pages. Shaking her head in pure stress. “What’s the matter Ningguang?” you approached her wrapping your arm around her silk robes. Her thin waist was and body pressed up against you as she relaxed in your arms.
“Ah, this client was specifically hard. We had told him to ignore any other business deals and here he is making a deal with our competitors.” She sighed heavily, her hand on her forehead as she sped through the listed terms and conditions.
“I see. I’m sorry love, is there anything I can do to help?”
“No worries, it’s nothing you can help so please ignore me. It’s good enough that you are here with me today.” She held onto your hand that was maneuvered around her. Giving you a small smile before reverting back to focus on her work.
Tumblr media
• Jean loves physical contact when she has the time to. Don’t disturb this woman when she’s working or it might annoy her. She cannot afford any distraction and you were indeed the biggest distraction to her. She’ll kick you out of her office if you persist.
• When she has the leisure to take a break she’ll be all over you. Complaining about her headache in your hold as you listen to all her troubles. Her personality might revolve around Mondstadt, but when she was in your arms she’ll melt into you.
• Jean would bask in your arms when she was available. She didn’t care whether all of Mondstadt saw you and her together. She’ll hold onto your back with a smile on her face.
Jean was the queen of hips, literally. The way her clothes synched around her so perfectly to highlight her curves. You swore it drove you insane. She sat with a nearly empty coffee mug, her eye bags emphasized by her workload. You knew she had recently been stressed out about Mondstadt affairs, her hands full of needless work.
“Jean, I brought you some more coffee. Lisa said this one should be stronger but it’s just how you like it,” You sat the mug down on her desk and she smiled at you. Her tired eyes made you feel pained that you couldn’t help release her stress.
“Thank you, my love,” she stood up to greet you with a hug. Before pulling away you kept your hand around her waist. Your hand that was gripped around her rubbed on her thigh in little circles.
“Take a break will you?” She gave a small sigh, she knew she needed a break but could she afford it?
Tumblr media
• Ganyu is the shyest girl in Liyue when it came to physical contact of any sort. wrapping your arm around her waist was no exception. Be gentle and she’ll enjoy it.
• Admittedly Ganyu was quite shy when it came to anything to do with her waistline. She had to be very careful with her diet, the monster who choked to death on her waistline would confirm. You didn’t care though, assuring her that she was perfect regardless of her weight.
• She’ll be all squirmy in your hold. It’ll startle her when you first wrap your arm around her, poor girl wasn’t used to any physical contact with anybody because of how isolated she was previously to you.
Ganyu stood in a thinking pose, deciding what meal she should eat at Wanmin tonight. She had the choice between a whole grain meal or something that truly rewarded her. She would be feasting alone as per usual, but it didn’t matter to her, she was used to it.
Almost as if she had forgotten about you though, you snuck behind her, attempting to scare her. “Boo~” Ganyu jolted a little bit, but was not scared at your feeble attempt.
“Ah you’re too much,” she said shyly at your presence. It felt nice with you by her side, she had forgotten she no longer had to be lonely in a city full of people for centuries. You adjusted the frills of her dress, moving aside her hair as you wrapped your arm around her waist. She eeped at the sudden physical contact, more startled at your touch than your surprise attack on her.
“This is kind of embarrassing,” she admitted, her eyes a little dizzy at your actions. But you persisted, giggling at her cute reactions.
Tumblr media
• Ei had no reaction. In fact, she would be kind of confused? “What are you doing”, she’d ask. You’d tell her not to worry about it, and she’d just accept whatever human interactions you enjoyed to do with her.
• Ei would learn to enjoy whenever you put your arm around her waist. She obviously didn’t care what her people thought of her, so why would she care for PDA between you and her.
• She would usher you to place your arm around her waist. Wherever or whenever you approached your first instinct would be to wrap it around her waist. She would come as close to you as physically possible.
Ei stood in the Tenshukaku, wondering when you would be arriving home as it was getting late. As if on cue you opened the large doors with a large grin on your face. “Did something happen to please you?” Ei asked curiously after seeing your particular chipper mood.
“It’s quite nothing serious, just the thought of seeing my beloved makes me unbelievably happy,” you approached her atop of the steps. She wouldn’t be the first to admit how much human behavior piqued her interest. She never understood the pain of separation.
“Hm- but I had just seen you this morning and you still are so excited to see me?” You extended your arm to wrap around her waist, her hand grabbing hold and guiding you as she looped herself in your hold. Rubbing on your hand with her own in a loving manner. “I must admit you humans are quite fascinating.”
“And are you not excited to see me after a long day?” You questioned. She pondered for only a moment before realizing what you had meant. Maybe she had missed you more than she led herself to initially believe.

May I ask for cuddling/general PDA hcs with Venti, Childe, and Kaeya? Thank you for taking the time to read this; make sure to stay hydrated ^u^ ❤
affection headcanons.
Tumblr media
-> venti, childe, kaeya ; gn!reader
-> fluff ; headcanons
-> no warnings
a/n: i need to write something, so i hope these headcanons will get me out of my slump and inspire me a little more. enjoy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Venti’s love is sweet and subtle. He’s lived a long time and seen a lot of grandiose gestures from man couples, but he prefers the gentle, small things that reassure you that he loves you in his own little way.
He absolutely adores holding your hand. When you first start dating, he’s not really sure of your boundaries, so he tests the waters by linking just your pinkies together. You hold his finger a little tighter after he does this and it makes his heart absolutely swell. It’s just become a small thing of yours- Venti is always touching your hands and holding your pinky. It makes for an easy transition to fully entertaining your fingers if something happens.
That being said, Venti is very protective. You’re his s/o, and he’s going to do everything in his power to make sure you are happy. If even the smallest thing upsets you, he’s about to fight it. You can tell how he’s feeling about a situation on how he holds you. Pinkies together, he’s happy. Hand holding yours, he’s a little on guard. Hand squeezing yours, look around. He’s probably glaring at something or someone who has the potential of ruining y’all’s day.
Alone, he’s clingy.
Loves loves loves loves to back-hug you. You can be doing absolutely anything and Venti is going to sneak up behind you and wrap his arms around your waist, resting his head on your shoulder and pressing kisses against your neck, cheek, or shoulder. Anywhere he can reach, really. He won’t let go until you turn around and hug him back.
Tumblr media
Childe actually isn’t too big on PDA. He’s still a Harbinger and he’s got a reputation to uphold. He’s not going to really make the first move in public, but he won’t turn you down if you want a kiss. His affections are a little bigger than Venti’s, but they’re rarer.
His most common form of public affection is an arm wrapped around your waist. This only occurs if someone looks at you funnily or he’s feeling especially clingy that day, so you bask in the attention. You absolutely melt if he ever presses a kiss to your temple while holding your waist. It shows Childe’s more possessive side that you adore and he gets the satisfaction of subtly letting everyone know that you’re his.
In private, he likes to cuddle. It’s taxing being a Harbinger and Childe loves nothing more than to come home to you. He’ll either drag you to the couch or the bed and lay on top of you. He buries his nose in the crook of your neck and practically begs you to play with his hair. It’s his favorite way to just unwind after a long day of Fatui work and he wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Childe is 100% the one to rest his hand on your thigh during meetings if you’re also a Fatui member. You two always sit together and he’ll just rest his hand on your leg if he’s bored, rubbing his thumb into your skin. Sometimes, you’ll join your hand with his and he’ll play with your fingers, or you’ll switch it up and put your hand on his knee. Play footsies with him under the table and hope that La Signora doesn’t yell at you when she notices.
Tumblr media
You are Kaeya’s and he’s going to let everyone know that. His affection is proud and makes you feel like you two are the only people in the world, even when you’re in the middle of a crowded Mondstadt. This takes a while to happen, though, because I imagine Kaeya to actually be pretty cautious and shy when you first get together. He just wants to make sure he’s not doing something wrong, so he saves the public affection for when he knows your boundaries and rules.
He won’t really hold your hand or your waist while you’re walking together, but will walk very closely to you to the point that he’s constantly bumping shoulders with you. Sometimes you have to snatch his hand and hold it so that he stays an okay-distance away, but he’s still practically walking on top of you.
If you’re standing still and just talking to someone, he might come up behind you and give you a little back-hug, resting his chin on top of your head and joining in on the conversation rather casually. As if he wasn’t clinging onto you like a koala. Jean usually just rolls her eyes, Lisa gushes about young love, and Diluc seethes just because it’s Kaeya and he doesn’t want the cryo user ruining a perfectly good conversation.
Alone, he’s always got to be touching you. It does not matter where or how or when, he’s got at least a finger on you at all times. If he can’t do that, then he’s constantly talking to you and as soon as he’s able, he’s holding onto you again. Even like, sitting and eating dinner, he’ll try to pull you onto his lap. He can eat like that, he promises. Sometimes you can’t help but give in. He’s charming, and you love him, so it’s practically impossible to have any self control when he’s this sweet. He even clings to you all night and wakes up if you ever move out of his grasp. Again, you’re his and he’s going to do everything in his power remind everyone of that, even you.

cynosure. (guide)
─── guide to this au !
Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis; you and xiao are genmates under the famed streamer company genshin impact. the chemistry between the two of you is undeniable, and your fanbases absolutely love your collaborations. but when you both start meeting up offline more and more, your connection starts to deepen past just harmless flirting and playful banter. with these real feelings starting to affect both your job and reputation online, how will you two react when your relationship becomes the internet's cynosure?
masterlist.
a/n; this is quite informal but it's just to clear a couple things up, character profiles for characters actually part of the main story will be posted tmrw :)
Tumblr media
short explanations
genshin impact; world famous streaming company, has branches in multiple countries and are renowned for catering to all sorts of audiences
generation; a group of streamers that debut at the same time and the lore of their streamer selves will be connected in some manner
by streamer selves i mean that they are usually playing a character when streaming, they'll use their real personality but for any personal details they will refer to a character backstory that they have. however their character is not the main focus of their streams, they stream like regular people and will only deflect to their lore if dealing with personal questions.
i.e. xiao's on-stream character; yaksha, suffering from karmic debt
xiao irl; quiet gamer
viewer x: xiao how old r you ????
xiao: over 2000+ years old, as if you mere mortals could comprehend that.
(xiao's actual age is around 23)
names in brackets - nicknames the generation has, usually based on lore
solo debuters; can be viewed as genshin's gen 0
zhongli (liyue) , venti (mondstadt)
mondstadt branch !
gen 1 (knights of favonius) - jean, kaeya, lisa, eula
gen 2 - amber, sucrose, fischl
gen 3 (adventure duo) - bennett, razor
liyue branch !
gen 1 (qixing) - ningguang, keqing, ganyu, beidou
~ wanna know why beidou's here even though she isn't a member of the qixing??? she's just that powerful that's why. also she's ningguang's gf so they refused to be in separate generations.
gen 2 - chongyun, xiangling, xingqiu, xinyan
gen 3 - xiao, y/n, hu tao, yanfei
fatui ! ( separate streamer company )
gen 1 ; childe, la signora
gen 2 ; dottore, pierro, arlecchino
virtual singer - barbara
dainsleif is sort of a behind-the-scenes manager, he knows what's going on everywhere but does not personally stream.
indie channels ! (independent as in streamers who aren't part of the company genshin impact)
aether & lumine - share a twin channel but stream a mix of solo and duo streams
mona - extremely broke so she decided to become a streamer to get that bag (succeeds)
rosaria - streams rarely but has a dedicated fanbase
albedo - science/art streamer who occasionally plays games
diluc - famous wine tycoon who makes asmr podcasts anonymously, has a huge fanbase because of his voice alone, would die if anyone he knows finds out
scaramouche - drama youtuber
inazuma charas aren't featured bc i'm not too sure on each characters' relationship w one another, and i doubt they'll be added even after the update because i've pretty much ald planned out the friend groups hehe,,, so think of it as genshin not having a branch there yet <3!
i hope this helped !! if you have any questions feel free to send me an ask :]
also if youre a vtuber fan i'd say that this entire au is very loosely inspired by hololive & nijisanji HAHA

Congrats on 30 followers
I recently started following you and I really enjoy your writing
Since your requests are open, may I please request Lisa, Beidou and Jean with a fem s/o who's really short but is really strong (and also has anemo vision)
Them With A Short But Strong fem!S/O (Beidou, Jean, Lisa)
Tumblr media
Beidou: The power couple to end all others
You and Beidou could never be defined as anything less than an absolute power couple.
Beidou honestly loves the combination of very short but incredibly powerful. So get ready for a lot (and I mean a lot) of sparring matches. Its pretty easy to fight and train against larger opponents, but your smaller stature but still comparable fighting prowess would definitely provide a unique challenge for her to overcome. To fight you, Beidou would need to develop a whole new combat strategy, and since she knows your strong, she wouldn't feel the need or want to hold herself back. She can enjoy and immerse herself in this fight to her heart's content. This in turn has lead the two of you to develop more than a few team combos. You would use Anemo's swirl reaction to give everyone Pyro, Hydro, or Cryo statuses followed up by her using Electro to clean things up.
Get ready for your head to become her personal armrest. If it makes you uncomfortable she'll try to tone it down, but honestly she loves being able to tease you constantly. Beidou is pretty playful by nature so seeing your reaction always tends to make her day. And by all means, feel free to tease her right back. She'll probably get more of a laugh out of it than you will.
If Beidou hears someone else teasing you about for height or judging you for your relationship with her she probably won't step in right away. Beidou will wait to see you reaction first before doing anything. If you don't seem mind or feel uncomfortable then why should she? And if you do decide it bothers you, you might prefer to fight your own battle. She knows your strong, (you're her partner after all), so she'll wait to see if you want backup before trying to fight your battles for you.
I personally headcanon Beidou as being bisexual so you probably aren't going to be the first woman she has ever been with. If this is your first lesbian relationship, Beidou will take the lead in most situations but let you decide the pace you're comfortable with. And if this isn't your first relationship, then you and her can decide the pace together as your relationship continues to grow.
Tumblr media
Jean: Mondstadt's shining sword and shield
Jean would be the least likely person to ever care about your height. For her, your physical appearance is secondary to that of your personality or the behavior you display towards others. Jean would also be the least likely to tease you about your height as well; at least in public in any case. As Acting Grand Master, Jean understands the desire and necessity of maintaining a good public image, so any teasing she does, is done in private only to be shared between the two of you.
Since Jean is a worrier by nature, your combat prowess would definitely be a weight off her mind. Her busy schedule means she can't always be there for you as often as she wants to be, so you being able to protect yourself would bring Jean a lot of comfort. It also means she would trust you to be able to handle some of the more dangerous missions that she is too busy to attend to herself. It honesty brings her a great deal of pride to think of the two of you as Mondstadt's shining sword and shield.
Unfortunately in a world of elemental reactions, the fact that both of you have Anemo doesn't really help the two of you to develop a lot of team combos other than yeeting the enemies back and forth. But it does mean that the two of you make a lot of progress in developing your techniques when you train together. The two of you having the same vision means that you can provide each other with insights into combat neither of you hadn't even thought of.
If Jean encounters anyone teasing you about your height or ridiculing you for your relationship with her, she wouldn't hesitate before shutting that down immediately. It isn't that Jean thinks your weak or that you can't handle yourself. In her mind, you are her partner and so she wouldn't allow anyone to harass or belittle you.
In all honesty you are probably Jean's first same-sex relationship. While she may some moments of bravery from time to time, Jean would honestly prefer it if you took the lead in your relationship and set its pace. If this is your first as well then you can figure it out together.
Tumblr media
Lisa: The librarian and the barbarian (I'm sorry I'm a sucker for alliteration)
Lisa would feel absolutely zero shame in relentlessly teasing you about your height. She doesn't care how strong you are, all the things you need have magically teleported themselves to the highest shelf. Lisa wins no matter what. If you got your items yourself she had the pleasure of watching you struggle, and if you asked for her help she gets to tease you even more.
While your combat prowess is impressive, she honestly isn't that interested in fighting. She's a lady whose hobbies include tea drinking, book reading, and napping. A smarter route would be for you to ask her for assistance in getting stronger. With how smart she is, she would immediately find flaws in you training regiment, how you could be more efficient in your moments, etc. It doesn't matter to her that she's not interested in fighting, you're her cutie and you asked for her help.
RIP to anyone who is unfortunate (dumb) enough to mock you while Lisa is present. As your partner, Lisa reserves the sole right in teasing you. She had no qualms about shocking drunks during the Windblume Festival, she can and will do a lot worse to anyone messing with her S/O. If you prefer to handle it yourself, then Lisa will just stand behind you menacingly.
You probably aren't Lisa first lesbian relationship. If this is your first time in a relationship, Lisa will take the lead, and let you set the pace, and if this isn't then Lisa will probably still take the lead regardless

pleasrfekflnsfdsa miss lisa.... honestly. i love her. i love that she's incredibly intelligent, but said fuck it and is living her best life
bear with me, but: miss lisa makes you read the book you took out-- which turns out to be a VERY boring history of mondstadt's dullest period-- but with a special little electro vibe in. this is all fun and games until someone else walks into the library to browse and she just stares at you from her desk with heavy-lidded eyes and says, "why'd you stop, cutie? keep going."
lisa has so much knowledge and potential and power but she is absolutely happy being a librarian, taking tea in the middle of the day, doing what she wants and enjoying her life. as she deserves! great power and intelligence doesn't mean you should have to give your life over to something you don't want just because you have it. i love her
AHEM. anon. i am bearing with you.
you only took the book out to spend time in the library; to chance a couple of peeks at the pretty librarian and sigh over her and perhaps moon a little bit. i don't think lisa would miss that for a moment, though. all of your times not returning books just so she'd seek you out herself . . . you never imagined that she'd be plotting something like this!
OH. the extra embarrassment of being walked in on by some other knight of favonius - it's their library, after all. someone like jean probably wouldn't realise what's going on - she's got other things to attend to. but she's also so rigorous and proper; it's embarrassing, going to pieces near her. and she's genuinely interested in what you're reading (bonus points for lisa making you read it aloud very close to her desk, so you have to concentrate on what you're saying and not letting the shake of your voice give you away). lisa would be enjoying that immensely.
and if it were, say, kaeya--
well. he knows exactly what's going on. so all the more reason to find a way to linger, right?

belatedly realizing that instead of building elaborate AUs to give Lisa tentacles, I could just use the alchemy event. the Traveler dropped a tidalga into something they were making for Lisa and she has tentacles now. only sex can cure her :)
(she says that last part to Jean as Jean is carrying her home after a panicked call from the Traveller. Jean tells her she doubts this. Lisa tells her there's only one way to find out, and surely she wouldn't leave Lisa in the lurch?)
(the tentacles wear off overnight and Jean refuses to admit she's disappointed. or glad, when Lisa tells her she recorded the recipe)

Written Letters [Venti]
Tumblr media
[Venti x Gender Neutral! Reader]
Inspired by: Yours Truly — Paradise Fears
Notes: I hope you’ll like it. Originally, it was for Diluc but I think it’ll be more sadder if its Venti :) sorry.
Warnings: Angst..
Word Count: 1,604
Tumblr media
Whenever Venti asks Aether paper and quill, both Aether and Paimon stares at him with shared confuse look before giving the Wind Archon what he asks for. He always seem to be writing, but what? At first, it didn’t bother Aether. But as they spend time together more and more, Aether starts to notice a trend. For atleast once a month, Venti would ask for a paper and quill and just writes. Of course, it wasn’t Aether’s business so he didn’t dwell on it.
However Paimon, being Paimon, noticed it immediately and asked the wind Archon. “Hey Tone-Deaf Bard!” Paimon began. Aether turned to her and send her a warning look, to which Paimon ignored. Venti, however, didn’t look up at what he’s writing about and just gave the Emergency Food a hum. Paimon huffs but decided to ignore it, her curiosity wanting to be fed. “Why do you keep writing? Is there someone you keep messaging to?” Paimon asked.
Aether noticed how Venti stopped writing momentarily before resuming. He also noticed how Venti’s lids lower as a sad smile replaced the usual happy-go-lucky grin. Aether grimaced as he realized that Paimon might’ve struck a sensitive chord on the God. So he quickly grab Paimon by her back and pulled her towards to him. Paimon yelped in response. “Sorry, Venti. You know how Paimon is—“ “What do you mean by that?!”
After that, Aether never questioned why Venti writes letter after letter for the rest of the year.
The second time it happened, Aether didn’t expect it to happen honestly. But it happened. Someone was curious. And that someone is Kaeya. They were at Mondstadt that day, in the Tavern to be precise. With his favorite wine on the side, and him solely focused on the letter he’s writing. Everyone in the tavern was surprised seeing him not drinking his wine and ordering another, even Diluc was surprised. Though Diluc doesn’t really like being in someone else’s business so he didn’t pay attention to it. But the one who minded other’s business is none other than his brother, Kaeya.
“What are you writing, Venti? A love letter, perhaps?” Kaeya asked, with a hint of teasing in it. Venti smiled, lovingly if I may add. Which surprised Aether, Paimon, Diluc & Kaeya. “You can say that.” Venti said mysteriously as he continues writing. “Oohh! So Tone-Deaf Bard does have a lover!” Paimon gushed as she flies in front of Venti. “So! Who is it? Can we see her? Where does she live—?” “It’s a them.” Venti cuts Paimon off.
“Them?” “They don’t want to be referred as she or he. So I use them and they instead.” Venti explained as his eyes light up and made a dramatic movement of his hand, showing he finished his letter. “Done!” “Can Paimon see?” Paimon asked as she tries to read it but Venti covers it before she could read it. Which resulted in her pouting. “Hey! I was reading!” “You weren’t supposed to be reading it. It’s a secret.” Venti said with a cheeky smile on his face.
Paimon huffed while crossing her arms in front of her chest. “Stingy, stupid God.” Paimon mumbled angrily as she flies towards Aether. “Are you going to send it?” Kaeya asked, still trying to pry answers from the Wind Archon. Venti smiles sadly as he nods. “Yeah.. hopefully they’ll receive it.” And by using his wind powers, he lets the folded letter fly with the wind. They watch as the wind flies out of the door of the tavern. “Do you think they’ll receive it?” Paimon asked as Venti nodded his head. “Of course! My wind will surely guide the way..”
The third time, Venti and Aether were closer than ever. Many considered them to be siblings by how close they’ve gotten. Even as months go by, Venti keeps writing and writing. Aether knew that his curiosity will reach its limits, and by the Gods, was he right. They were in Liyue, trying to help find Qiqi her Cocogoat. They decided to search for it tomorrow.
Aether notice Venti was writing yet another letter, but this time, his quill wasn’t moving. His brows were furrowed together. Aether watches as Venti’s eyes sparkle when he found something to say only to diminish once he didn’t like it. When he heard Venti sigh, Aether decided to step in. Paimon was asleep by the bed, so Aether knew that this is going to go smoothly without the Emergency Food interfering and interrupting.
“You okay, Venti?” Aether asked as he took a sit next to Venti. Venti jumped a bit before turning his head to Aether and smiled at him. “Hello Aether! Fancy seeing you still up this late of a night.” Aether smiles but quickly frowns as he shoots Venti a concerned look. “You haven’t answered my question, Venti. Is something troubling you?” Venti sighed as he slumped in his seat. “I.. am having a difficult time trying to come up with words.. who knew that a bard will have a hard time trying to find his word?” Venti chuckled weakly at the end.
Aether frowns as he hesitate to ask. “Can I... Can I see it?” Venti stares at him for a couple of minutes before slowly nodding, clearly hesitating. Aether reached for the paper Venti was writing on. He read the first thing he saw — “Dear [Y/N]..? Wait.. isn’t that—?” “They were amazing, weren’t they?” Venti sighed, lovingly, and stared at the window before him longingly. He has a lovestruck smile on his face. Aether stares at him before continuing to read. “It’s been so long since I last saw your face. Too long that I may have forgotten about it. I guess you can tell that I’m just joking that part, right? Though it would be nice to see you laugh and smile again. How’s life in Celestia? I hope Vennessa is keeping you safe from harm. Though I doubt that any creatures would harm you there.” Aether stops reading as he looks up to look at Venti.
“[Y/N].. are they..?” Venti nods his head sadly while staring longingly outside. In the distance though, you can faintly see Celestia. The place where people with gifts of the God, Vision, go to. “They might not be here anymore, but that doesn’t mean they’re really gone.” Venti explained as he swings his feet up and down. Aether remained silent as he looks back at the letter Venti wrote. “I still clearly remember your words. Why am I still holding on, you ask? Because their the only ones I have left of you. A constant reminder for me that you lived. But I know that you know that this letter isn’t about that.” Aether stops since the letter ends there abruptly.
Aether might not look like much but he knew what does wording mean, where that sentence is going to. He slowly looks up to see a pain-filled Venti, a Venti he only saw now. “You’re saying goodbye?” Aether whispered in pure disbelief. Venti chuckled weakly as he nodded. “I.. couldn’t wait any longer. I waited for them and yet they haven’t return. I want closure to what our partnership.” Venti weakly explained, as if in pain while explaining it to the outsider.
“.. are you sure this is what you wanted, Venti?” Venti’s eyes leak out a tear then another then tears started sprouting out of the Wind Archon’s eyes. “I-.. I’ll remember them, of course! I couldn’t forget them, even if I tried! But all I wanted.. is closure.” Venti sobbed as his hands flew up to cover his eyes. Aether hugs Venti in a brotherly embrace. Aether knew what it felt like, losing someone you cared about and wanting closure. He knew better than anyone what Venti was feeling. Afterall, he felt like that with her, a love he couldn’t have, forbidden.
Aether’s eyes watered at that thought as his embrace tighten a bit. “If you think that’s correct, then so be it. I’m sure [Y/N] would think so too.” Aether said as he release Venti from the hug. He stared straight at Barbatos’ reincarnation’s eyes as he smiled gently. “We’ll be here for you — me, Paimon, Diluc, Kaeya, Amber, Jean, Lisa, Dvalin— everyone. So don’t be afraid to open up to us.” Venti stares at him before nodding and smiling softly. “Yeah.. I guess I needed that.”
“Now. Let’s get to work on your letter.”
[Y/N] watched from afar as Venti laughs happily with his newfound friends, with a loving smile tugging on their lips. The letter they recently received in-between their finger as they turns it around. Their gaze switched to the letter as they bring it in front of them. “Thank you for everything, Venti. Always keep smiling for me, okay?” They whispered as they rip the letter apart, watching it as the pieces fly with the wind. They watch until they couldn’t see it anymore. Their gaze fell upon the Wind Archon tackling Diluc into a hug.
At the same time, an eagle flew by. Squeaking loudly as it flies above [Y/N]’s head. They giggle as they nodded. “Yes yes, I know, Vennessa. I’m coming.” They turn to Venti one last time before disappearing completely “May we meet again, my dear Venti.”
Venti’s head snapped at one of the rooftops, he noticed only particles of light flying by it. He blinks before smiling. “Whatcha looking at, Tone-Deaf Bard?” Paimon asked as she tried following the Bard’s gaze. Venti laughs happily as he turns around. “Nah. Just thought I saw something.”

Lol that short Rosaria chapter was utterly adorable🥰 Toddler Klee would probably love to be held by Lisa 24/7. Lisa the best soft mommy and Jean the protective mama who loves both🥰🥰
They continue to bicker, her words sharp enough to make the deaconess pink.
Interesting enough, since Barbara came the toddler seems to hate be alone in her playpen. She is currently sucking the ear of a bear toy, sitting in her auntie lap.
R: " look, your sister is coming back soon. Can't you just...Go?"
B: " we already talked about it. I'm not going."
R: "Archons above, you are infuriating."
B: " don't call for the gods in vain."
The redhead rolls her eyes and huffs.
R: "you need to let loose more often. Be so uptight isn't cute."
The blonde turns a darker shade of pink, spluttering in her indignation.
B: " who-I-You...!"
Rosaria chuckles, loving the delicious reaction.
R: " calm down, sister. I'm joking."
B: "You-!"
They are interrupted by the noise of keys in the door.
R: " great, your sister gonna think something happened now."
B: "Let me handle my sister, ok?"
Rosaria shrugs and in few seconds Mondstadt's power couple appears in the room.
J: "Barbara? What you doing here?"
L: " calm down, dear."
Lisa says, a pleasant smile on her face. She approaches the pair and takes her daughter in the arms.
Klee, with a little hand griping the bear, envelopes her small arms around the witch shoulder, little head resting on the shoulder.
Lisa gives the blonde head a kiss and her hands caress the little back.
B: "oneechan-" the deaconess hear the small smirk and stops herself. "I mean, Jean....I heard you was going out today and thought about take a little look at my favorite niece."
Jean looks at the two seated women and lifts a eyebrow.
J: "right ..."
Rosaria starts to think maybe the deaconess will not get they out of this situation. However, the librarian stops her wife of interrogate them.
L: "Jean, love. Let the girls be. They obviously didn't have much free time and probably thought it would be a good moment to be alone."
Uh oh
Not really the help she was expecting. At her side the short blonde starts to redden and splutter denials. Rosaria thanks her own cold persona, otherwise she would be the same.
B: "wait-what? I-She-We don't-!"
It could be hilarious if this was her teasing the deaconess but as things are, she can't take joy in this. It's just too embarrassing to be put in spot in front of the Grand Master and even worse, the big sister of the girl she likes.
Jean watches them in silence for a few more seconds and then wink at them.
J: " if you guys wanted a free night to a date, you should have say so. I don't believe take care a baby is the best program."
The redhead looks in between all them. Lisa looks like a proud mom with her daughter sleeping in her arms, smirking and winking to her. Jean looks satisfied and Barbara seems to be melting on the couch.
This family is just ...
But they are worth it.
She smiles back at Mondstadt's power couple.

Icy Jealousy (Kaelumi)
Kaeya was never much of a jealous person.
He had his own ideals to chase. His own agendas to fulfil. He had no time to indulge in such trivial matters. He may have a fling every now and then, but all that would be snipped away in a blink of an eye before any of his playful encounters could even take a glance at his guarded heart.
Kaeya had no need to be worried about such mindless—laughable, even—matters.
That was…until she came into his life.
----------
At first it was her encounter with the mysterious bard. Venti was ever so joyful, ever so clingy. While looking as innocent as any child, Kaeya would be a fool to think the bard was anything of the sort. Clearly there was something more when he looked at him, and oftentimes Kaeya wanted to subtly interrogate the youthful boy. Who knows? Maybe the many information Venti held might be of some use to his grand agenda.
Well, that was the initial plan.
  “Lumine!”
To see Venti clinging to Lumine’s arm, Kaeya soon realized that he wished to interrogate the bard for an entirely different reason.
Shock jumped her shoulders at the playful embrace on her right arm. “Geez, Venti!” Her head turned to the side, lips pulling a pout to see him. “Don’t startle me. If I was any more surprised, I might accidentally punch you as a reaction.”
Her mild threat didn’t even faze him. “Ehee,” he chuckled, smile as guiltless as his response. “Sorry, Lumine.” His slid a few steps back, though arms now wrapped around her right arm. “Care to join me for a drink? I heard Diluc had some really great wine brought in today?”
Her pout softened to a smile. A sigh came out next. “If you’re paying.”
“I got that covered!” Clearly, he did not.
Nevertheless, arm in arm, they walked towards their destination. Laughter and conversation bubbled between them as they shared stories of her journeys and his travels.
Kaeya only watched from a few steps afar, silent and analytical.
The smirk he wore bore such ill will. Maybe he should pay a visit to the tavern today.
----------
Sometimes, Kaeya had the pleasure of joining her in her little adventures. Whenever she set foot in Mondstadt, Lumine never missed the chance of paying a visit to the knights of Favonius. Kaeya—much to his silent glee—was one of them. The delight only heightened when he managed to squeeze time in his busy schedule to accompany her during commission work.
In truth, he either changed his knightly tasks to ‘Team Up with Lumine’ or ignore his work assignments entirely.
He could apologize to Jean later.
During their travels, Kaeya got to a side of Lumine he rarely saw back in Mondstadt. He saw how fearless, how vigorous, and at times how reckless even to see her in action. Her plans were oftentimes near to perfection. Her movements were like wind itself, rising and soaring as she threw her enemies afar. The more he looked at her, the more he observed her, Kaeya knew he was walking on dangerous territory to regard her in such a…vulnerable way.
He also knew that he wasn’t alone in this matter.
  “Lumine.”
His calm voice caught her attention. Dissolving her sword back to nonexistence, she turned her heel. “Yes, Razor?” Her smile beamed upon the rugged boy. Kaeya only stood next to her, a single eyebrow raised in silent curiosity.
Razor’s whole focus was on Lumine only. “Your hand.” Without hesitation, he held her left wrist. “Hurt.” Carefully he turned her hand, revealing a small gash on her palm.
As adrenaline slowly eased off from her, realization finally acknowledged the numbing pain. “Oh—ah!” One eye closed as she flinched. A chuckle slipped out like a child in trouble, Lumine scratched the side of her neck with her other hand. “I didn’t realize tha—”
  Slurp.
Not only the traveler, but shock was clear as day in the knight-captain’s eye.
The pain was brief, but amber eyes were round as they could be due to a different kind of reaction. “R-Razor—?!” A squeak peeped as she felt his tongue on her palm again. The blood on her skin was slowly being licked away, the pressure stinging her quite a bit but warming her face most definitely.
“I clean.” Razor merely stated, head lowered to her hand and tongue once again ready to wipe the blood clean.
…That was…until he felt her hand being snatched away from him.
Crimson eyes quickly glared at the man next to her.
Kaeya didn’t say a word, yet a smile was evident, its curve so laced with malice and indignation. A growl echoed in the barren battlefield; he couldn’t tell whether the sound came from the boy or himself.
----------
The months where he hadn’t seen Lumine were apparently the worse.
Kaeya had bid his farewells. He had wished her journey a safe one. He had other duties to attend too. And she clearly had her brother to find. He knew this would be a short-lived rela—friendship, and Kaeya had set it clear in his mind that she wouldn’t stay with hi—in Mondstadt—for long.
It seemed his heart didn’t get the memo.
Thankfully, after nearly 6 months of not seeing her, Lumine actually came back. She informed Jean that she dropped by for a visit, saying even that she missed Monndstadt and its people after months of being away.
When Kaeya heard of it, it truly made his heart flutter.
When he saw her new companion, however, it truly made his heart burn.
Zhongli only watched silently as Venti and Lumine shared stories. Happiness bloomed within the ex-archon to see his old friend. Venti was still as witty, was still as cunning, and he found it amusing that the now bard immediately hid behind Lumine the moment they reunited.
“Just making sure.” A single chuckle held being thinned lips as he brought the scene to his mind. Golden eyes then spotted some strands of Lumine’s hair dangling by the side of her face. They swayed and brushed across her left ear, catching his attention like a cat to a ball of yarn.
Without a word, Zhongli casually slipped through those beautiful locks with his fingers and gently tucked them behind her ear.
The simple action surely made Lumine flinch. Quickly she looked to the side, amber eyes wide and face quite warm from the gentle contact.
Upon seeing what he assumed was a mistake, Zhongli quickly let out a short cough. “Apologies, Lumine.” He placed his cup down onto the table. “Your hair is just simply mesmerizing, I couldn’t help myself.” Honesty was his virtue, and the Geo archon simply gifted the surprised traveler a warm smile.
Her face felt hotter, it seemed. “It’s okay, Zhongli.” She laughed it off, one hand on her cheek. “I just felt ticklish is all.” The conversation was then cut short to Venti’s sly chuckle, bringing both human and makeshift human back to the reality that they were not alone. Zhongli merely continued indulging in his tea, while Lumine rolled her eyes and teased the bard with many comebacks that she learned from her journey.
While the scene played out like rainbows and sunshine, the even happening in the bar was anything but.
“Oi,” Diluc interjected, “can you stop trying to shatter my glass? If you wanted some frozen popsicles, go to the dessert stall down the street.” His tongue clicked as crimson eyes glared at the man sitting across him.
Azure gaze, cold and icy like the element, kept its focus on the trio.
“Ah,” Kaeya simply, finally, responded. Fingers released the glass he had clutched. Flakes of ice and snow now enveloped the clear glassware, almost revealing cracks as the liquor inside of it had turned to solid ice.
He turned to face the pyro user. His lips formed a smile, the corners swirled to a sinister curve that rivalled the spine-chilling element on his fingertips. “Sorry, dear Diluc.” He straightened his back, smile still forced in its place. “Would you be so kind as to warm my drink up?”
“I’d rather burn you to the ground.”
Her laughter echoed the second Diluc gave his blunt remark. Her laughter alone was enough to snatch every single attention Kaeya had.
Her laughter alone was enough to ignite a monstrous flame within his chest.
“Kaeya!” Anger fumed when Diluc saw the plane of ice on the bar. It seemed that the knight-captain truly wanted to be turned to ashes.
----------
After a week of contemplating—both his heart and his mind—Kaeya decided to do the one thing that would surely piss Jean off.
In truth, he actually enjoyed traveling with Lumine and her companions. The adventure took his mind off things. The countless dangerous encounters lit a fire within him. While the Knights of Favonius had special training for those with visions, nothing beat an actual face-to-face against inhuman enemies in order to test his elemental strengths and skills. It truly helped that Kaeya got to see Lumine in action as well, more so than he usually did in the past.
She was still the same. Reckless but calculating. Gentle but rough. It seemed she had obtained the Geo elemental as well, much to his silent surprise. While Lisa did inform him before that the traveler did not possess a vision, to see her wield both Anemo and Geo further piqued his curiosity and interest about her.
Well, he knew the secret to her power was only half of his genuine interest. The other half was…something Kaeya still chose not to disclose, be it to her or himself.
After nearly weeks of camping, they finally decided to rest in Wangshu Inn. It seemed like a giant treehouse, Kaeya mentally noted, and he was widely impressed at how sturdy the structure was despite the amount of people and chaos inside it. Zhongli suggested they rested here for a couple of nights while they restock on some resources and weapons. And although Lumine and Paimon agreed to it, Kaeya soon realized that the ones doing the payment was Lumine herself.
Like a gentleman, Kaeya paid for his room, of course—and Razor’s too since he warmed up to the young wolf boy during their journey.
Night dawned upon them, and it was the most beautiful Kaeya had ever seen. Granted, Mondstadt was glorious with its lights and grandeur, but nothing could compare to the beauty nature had exposed before them. The gleaming line of lit lanterns truly complimented the sky above. And for once in his life, he truly felt at peace.
That was…until azure eye spotted the target of his affections talking to someone new.
“How do you like your almond tofu?” Lumine asked, head tilted slightly as she looked at the quiet adepti. Xiao merely nodded, gaze on his food and attention trying its best to focus on the delicacy.
Her laugh was slowly breaking his concentration, however.
“Hmm…” Slowly he swallowed, then huffed out single sigh. The distance between them wasn’t as far, but it wasn’t as close either. As Lumine rested her arms against the wooden rail of the balcony, Xiao only stood perfectly still with the warm plate still in his hand. He was highly aware of the small distance between them, and this also made him aware of the warmth that slowly seeped into his skin.
He still refused to move from his single spot.
“Good…” Whether the answer was for the food or the moment they were having, neither could tell.
As the two enjoyed their peaceful night, one lone man stood from afar, his breathing exhaled in low specks of a chilly breeze.
----------
Finally, after 2 months of travelling, they finally arrived in Liyue. The place was gorgeous, Kaeya couldn’t lie. It seemed that the city was Zhongli’s birthplace—"or something like that,” as explained by Venti. The reason of them coming back to the land was because Zhongli had to attend to his own work matter.
Kaeya wanted to comment on it, but he decided to bite his tongue when he was reminded that he too somewhat shirked his duties to be closer to Lumine.
He was happy that he finally got to spend time with her. Like a holiday of sorts. While Paimon of course oftentimes clung to her like glue, Kaeya still managed to trick the floating creature with some delicious delicacies in any nearby restaurant. Even Razor couldn’t be seen, as Lumine informed Kaeya that the wolf boy preferred the wild environment, so he made camp in an area not too far from the city so he could come as soon as possible when she calls for him.
Yes. It truly was the perfect moment for Kaeya to get closer to Lumine.
  …Or so he thought.
“Ojou-chaaan,” Her name lulled in a singsong tune, she felt her shoulders being firmly hugged by someone whom brought a huge sigh off her chest.
“Now, now.” Faking an offended expression, Childe placed one hand on his chest. “I’m only here to fight my favourite comrade!”
Slap. Without haste, she slapped his hands away from her. “I’m busy, Childe.”
“Oh?” He didn’t take offense at all. “You don’t look busy.” He walked beside her. The more she picked up the pace, the more he followed it.
Deciding that running would only encourage the harbinger even more, Lumine finally slowed down. She knew he was a very, very persistent man. So with another sigh leaving her lips, she shot a glare at him.
His eerie smile became a lovely match.
“I am busy.” Amber eyes looked at the list in her right hand. “I’m searching for stuff and things to buy before we head out. Unlike you—” Another glare was given.”—who seem like he has a lot of free time in the world, I need to keep on moving to complete my mission.”
The ‘mission’ she firmly stated was something they both knew was a delicate topic, so Childe decided go against asking it further.
Instead, he still made it worse. “Oh? I’m always busy, ojou-chan.” Lower lip pulled to a playful pout. The back of his hand dramatically moved to his forehead. “Can’t you see how tired I am? I am absolutely fatigued by the amount of work my stupid co-workers have put me through.”
“If you’re tired, then why the stars do you insist on battling with me today?”
Lumine honestly expected his playful banter. She had prepared a retort. Her mind had generated words that would surely put him into a stupor.
What she didn’t expect was her left arm to be pulled and her body being turned to the side.
Amber eyes were wide. Everything happened so fast as the traveler then felt her chin being tipped upwards from a single finger.
“Because…” A voice, lulled so close and so deep, brushed her pink lips. “Battling with you is never tiring.” Cobalt blue eyes were as striking as the deepest oceans. “Every time I see you…” His gaze lingered. His voice lowered. “I have this urge to just mess—” His right hand that held her left arm moved down… “—you—” And down… “—up…” Palm pressed firmly against the side of her waist—
  Shing!
Pupils shot to the side the moment he felt a cold breeze. Instincts kicking in fast, Childe immediately released his hold on her and slid a few steps back. In a flash, he summoned his water blades, expression masked to one of annoyance. Luckily, the ice shard—he soon realized—missed him by a hair’s breadth. The back of his hand still felt the chill, and this only made him tighten his hold.
In truth, Lumine was ready to summon her own wind element to whoosh the fatui away. As hot as her face felt right now, it seemed that shock still kept hold of her heart and mind as she felt her body being pulled yet again.
“Oh dear, I’m sorry I’m late, Lumine.” She recognized that voice anywhere.
One hand around her shoulders, Kaeya graced the harbinger before him with the cruellest, most sinister smile one had ever seen. Though sword not in sight in fear that he might cause enough attention than he already had, Kaeya still stretched his left hand forward. Tiny sparks of ice danced across his fingertips, spiralling small swirls towards his target.
Fear was never present in Childe’s eyes.
“Ojou-chan,” he called for her, voice light with poison, “it seems you have something stuck on you. Need me to take care of it?” While his grand scheme was to have a duel with her, Childe honestly didn’t mind a warm-up. White teeth gleamed under the sun’s rays. Gaze never torn from the traveler’s stunned face.
He was mocking her; Kaeya knew this. “Oya, oya.” A single laugh chilled the Liyue air. “Underestimating me, aren’t you? That’s fine.” While true, his past self did choose to not summon his sword, “I always love to see my enemies being horribly humiliated.” his present self now had other plans.
The sword breezed and solidified into his hands in a blink. To see the tip of a sharp weapon right in front of him, it only infuriated and excited Childe even further. A gust of ice and a burst of water formed around them, quickly and surely attracting an audience that feared for the sudden animosity.
Both were ready to fight. Both were ready to spill blood.
  “That—”
  Both…
  “—is enough!”
…were now being blown away straight to a nearby lake by a powerful tornado.
----------
It had almost been a year since Lumine’s presence. Almost a year since she changed the lives of many. Her mission was still ongoing. The search for her brother was still top priority on her list. But in her many adventures, her presence did bring joy and hope some thought they had lost forever.
  “Diluc! One more please!”
It seemed that he was part of the ‘some’, after all.
“Isn’t this your third glass?” A single eyebrow raised. He watched as she giggled shyly, one finger pushing the strand of blonde locks behind her ear.
Cute. He understood why Kaeya of all people was struggling when it comes to her.
“Ma-aybe,” she hiccupped, one hand then quickly cupping her mouth.
Really cute. He understood why Kaeya had oftentimes lost his cool around her.
Coughing once, Lumine cocked her head in pride. “It’s a party. No harm in celebrating once in a while. Besides, I still have some senses left in me.” Her smile shined as bright as the flames of his element. Bouncing on the balls of her feet, she then looked around. “Hmm, where’s Kaeya?”
If not for the many years of masking his emotions so perfectly, Diluc would raise his eyebrows in surprise. “Don’t know,” he bluntly replied, hands continued to wipe and clean a wineglass.
Crimson eyes observed as her mouth pulled a frown.
“He was here a minute ago…” She seemed sullen? Crestfallen? Disappointed? The change of tone in her voice evoked a glint of surprise in his eyes. While Kaeya was a master of faking his emotions as he was a master of hiding his, Diluc knew his bro—the annoying cavalry captain lately had a hard time keeping his feelings in check when Lumine becomes the matter. As surprising as it was at first, Diluc soon registered the fact that there was another person—other than him—that could shake the cryo user.
This was getting more and more amusing, he thought.
“The fool might be dead in the upstairs balcony.”
The statement caught her attention. “Oh?” The pep in her voice was back. Whether it was from the alcohol or the excitement itself, it was clear that Lumine didn’t bother to hide her glee. She beamed as Diluc resumed his cleaning, ignoring her altogether as a sign that he wasn’t going to say any further.
That was enough for her. “Thank you, Diluc!” Smile as bright as the sun, she quickly made way to the balcony on the second floor.
As he watched her disappear into the crowd, a simple twitch of his lips curled upwards.
----------
Kaeya always loved watching the stars and moon.
It was peaceful. Breath-taking. Calming. He was able to register his thoughts and recollect his mind every time he was alone with the twinkling lights. The wineglass in his hand was brought up, swirled gently before he sipped the final contents of his drink.
Through the haze of his intoxication, his mind wandered to her.
“Heh…” Lips curled to a derisive smirk. How cruel, he thought, that she still invaded his mind after all these months. When Kaeya decided to come back to Mondstadt due to knightly matters, he assumed that maybe, just maybe, a few more months of avoiding her would be the key to finally take all of this as some harmless crush.
Alas, as the months rolled by without him being able to see her, it turns out it wasn’t harmless nor a crush.
His arms leaned heavily against the rails of the balcony. And now that she came back to celebrate Jean’s achievements—and to thank her for all she had done—Kaeya finally had a chance to talk to Lumine. He finally had the chance to see her. He finally had the opportunity to catch up with her without the noisy company of others.
He honestly didn’t mind Paimon. He did however mind a lot about her choice of human companions.
He should treat her to lunch and catch up. But no. Instead, he made her do a taxing errand of preparing the feast for the party, while he had other separate matters to attend to.
At times like these, he truly felt like a fool.
The party had started an hour ago, and he did compliment her for being the mastermind of the surprise party. While in truth, it was his idea, Kaeya felt it more appropriate for the Honorary Knight to take in all the glory while he basked in the shadows.
Heh. How fitting it seemed that he never changed.
  “Kaeya?”
Not realizing that he had his eye closed all this time, Kaeya snapped it open before turning around. “Lumine!” Shock was present on his face, but the cryo user quickly mellowed it with a perfectly curled smile. “Now, what do I have the pleasure to see Honorary Knight out here tonight?” His back leaned against the rail, wineglass already placed on the small table next to him.
Her response wasn’t immediate. Nor was it verbal. Instead, she gave a smile, one so sincere and endearing, he almost gripped the rail tightly.
  “I was looking for you.”
Her simple answer shook him once again. Azure eye widened in shock. Lips firmly pressed to hide the emotion that fizzled within him. “Oh ho?” he chimed, the corner of his lips curled slightly. “I didn’t know I was missed.”
  “You are.”
Her blunt answers were getting better and better. And this truly did not fare well on his end.
Finally, he was out of words for a short while. And it was that short while that Lumine decided to move forward and stand next to him. Pride itched at her brain to know that she was able to make the cavalry knight speechless. It seems there were many benefits to having countless banters with Paimon and Childe.
“I mean…” However, embarrassment followed suit at the realization of her words. “I didn’t see you much at the party so…” While common sense still held her by the reins, Lumine wondered if the fast beat of her heart right now was the cause of the man next to him.
In truth, a huge part of her hoped so.
“I asked Diluc and he said that you might be passed out in the cold here.”
A single chuckle burst past his lips. “How sweet that he cares.” He looked to his side, memorizing every shape of her presence. “How sweeter that you care, my dear.”
A single eyeroll was given. “I do care, though.” Her reply once again stunned him; she was getting better at reading his emotions too. “I…I know you’ve been through a lot, especially with Diluc so…”
“Ah…” He cut her off, partly in realization and the other part to silently signal her to not continue it further. It seems that he had forgotten for a brief moment that he told her of his past. Months and months of travelling together seems to make a person’s lips looser. It was clear that he trusted her, as much as his heart could dangerously handle. And in turn, Kaeya gave her the reason to trust him.
Which was also a much worse issue, considering that his role and lies still hang heavily around his neck.
The smile on his face mellowed. Slowly he turned around, head cocked upwards to gaze at the night sky. “Pretty night, isn’t it?”
She turned around too, though head tilted in his direction. A frown graced her face. Heat kissed her cheeks despite the cold breeze that caressed her body. “Kaeya—”
  “Where are you going next?”
Roles were now in reverse as the question caught him off guard. “Sorry?”
“Your next destination, Lumine.” Their eyes met. “Surely, you’re not going to make me hope that you might stick around longer?” The question laced with sweet toxicity, Kaeya let out another chuckle. “As happy as I am to see you back here, I know you’re on a mission to reunite with your brother.”
His voice was soft, gentle. His expression bared a smile that strained his face.
  It hurt to watch.
“Soon…” The reply was meek. Hands held the wooden rail. Amber eyes gazed downwards the people below. “I’ll go to Inazuma in the next 3 days.” Fingers slowly fiddled with one another. “The ship will depart on that day. So…I don’t know when I’ll be able to visit Mondstadt again…”
  Crack.
Azure eye dulled as he ignored the pain in his chest.
“I see.” was his only response. Slowly he nodded, mouth thinning to hold back the smile that was faltering. “Well,” One hand moved to her, wavered, hesitant, before he patted her shoulder. “I wish you all the best, Lumine.”
  Crack.
A deep breath was taken to gulp back the cracks left in her chest.
Hands slowly cupped together. Tightly. “Actually, I was wondering…” There was a reason she came looking for him. There was a reason she came back to Mondstadt before her next journey. One breath. Two. She closed her eyes before recollecting her thoughts that would soon slur into verbal words.
She felt his hand pull away. She hated that.
“I want—” With a heart that wanted to burst out of her ribcage, Lumine took the hand that was pulled away. “—you to join me!”
Shock was the star of the show in the brilliant evening. One gawked at her as if she grew a second head. The other gasped in silence as if what she had just said was near to impossible.
When she thought about, considering his role in Mondstadt, it might as well be.
The grip on his left hand tightened.
“I…” It was now or never. “I had so much fun travelling with you. It was never a dull moment.” Her head was down. “When we did all those commissions and strange requests, you always had a plan ready. When we were battling the powerful enemies, you always had my back. When I felt down and out of it, you were always there to cheer me up!” Her hands shook. “I—when we went to Dragonspine, you tried your best to find warm shelter to keep everyone warm even though fire isn’t actually your forte.” Archons, she would never forget how grateful she was to have him endure the frigid cold of such an unforgivable place.
  His hand felt warm.
“We fought side by side all these months and I—” Couldn’t forget it. Couldn’t forget him. “I…” Anxiety kicked in the more she stuttered. Forcing another gulp, Lumine let out a sharp sigh. “Having you so close to me made me realize how much I need you.”
  Blue bangs shielded his eye.
“Waking up and seeing you bond with Paimon and Razor and everyone else first thing in the morning made me realize how much I miss those moments.”
  Lips were slightly parted.
“And…” She could do this. “The night that we opened up about our brothers—” She heard a sharp breath. “—that was…truly a night that I felt closest to you.” She felt her hands shake. “I like that. I love that.” There was a reason why she chose to drink more than she could handle tonight—
  “I love—”
  “Lumine.”
Her shoulders flinched. At the same time his voice startled her, she gaped as she watched his hands slip away from her grasp. She froze as she felt those same hands cup her cheeks.
  “Lumine…”
His voice was silky smooth, caressing her very skin that sent prickles up to the back of her neck. She blinked once. Twice. Lumine then moved her head upwards by the gentle gesture of his hands—
  Chup…
Amber eyes were as wide as they could be.
His lips were soft, sweet, slightly sour with a taste of tangy citrus. While bafflement had her vision open and clear, his eye was closed.
  One heartbeat. Two.
Realization knocked him hard at the back of his head.
Quickly his eye snapped open. Immediately he pulled back. “I—!” Hands moved from cheeks to shoulders. It seems that the wine he drank had finally took control of his body. When he listened to her request, Kaeya could only feel his body float like a cloud. When he heard her explanation, he could only feel his heart clawing right out of his throat.
Love. When he heard that word, that one word, he couldn’t help but to succumb to the feelings he had long tried to destroy.
He gaped at her. She gawked at him. “Ahaa…” Defeat and shame poured down on him. “Sorry, Lumine.” Now he had done it. “I had uh…too much to drink tonight.” Now he had perfectly fucked this up.
He should leave. He should walk away. Being here with her was a mistake. Holding her by the shoulders was a mistake. Feeling her warmth, remembering the luscious shape of her lips was definitely, definitely, a mistake—
  “Gaack—!”
  Chuu!
Words, panics, and fears dissipated like hot steam once he felt the front of his shirt being tugged, once he felt those lips he so dearly missed pressed hard against his.
This time, her eyes were closed shut. This time his eye was wide as saucers.
However, bafflement didn’t linger too long, as Kaeya fully registered the moment with an open heart and an open mouth.
Quickly his eye closed. Hands now moved around her waist, tickling her in the process that Lumine actually wiggled in his embrace. Cute. The word beaming like a beacon, he pulled her flushed against his chest. Cute! Cute! His tongue found and caressed her own, tangling together until breaths became heavy in their lungs. Cute, cute, cute! With ease, Kaeya moved his hands downwards and lifted her up. It seems that the alcohol took hold of her mind too, as Lumine happily wrapped her legs around his waist as she pressed closer.
Chu! Chuu…chup! Apart they broke for a mere second. Chuuu! Together they kissed again before either could regain proper vision. Her hands tugged and brushed through long, silky blue hair. His hands squeezed and gripped her soft, scarred thighs.
  Pop!
If it weren’t for the fact that they needed air, they knew there would be no end to this.
Pants, heavy and warm, stroked each other’s faces. A gaze of pure stupor was given to a face of sheer shock. Red kissed their cheeks as if the sun had grazed them. Heartbeats pumped hard and fast against flushed chests.
  One heartbeat. Two heartbeats.
After the third beat, realization dawned on them like cold water.
“Ah—” Both stumbled. Quickly Lumine released her grip and stood in a shaky stance. She kept hold on his shoulders, fearing that the intense moment would make her lose her posture. His hands slid upwards to her waist, his grip not longer rough yet palms pressed firmly on her body.
They didn’t show any signs of letting each other go.
Her head dropped. Should she apologize? Should she forgive? Should she say something to dispel this awkward situation that bloomed between them?
But he did kiss her, though. And while Kaeya had been on her mind all these months since their journey together, never had she thought that her feelings would be requited. She felt giddy. Anxious. A whirlwind of emotions swirled inside her to know, to see, to feel, that the dashing cavalry knight would harbour such feelings for—
  “Lumine…”
A single gulp slid down a dry throat.
She cast a peek. Heat burned to the tips of her ears, Lumine found it wise to not say anything yet.
She was too cute, he gushed.
“Pushing aside our little…session, which I find absolutely amazing, by the way.” He gently pulled her closer. “I want to answer your request.”
Her finger unintentionally squeezed his shoulders.
“Lumine…” His voice lowered to a husky whisper, so loving, so sweet. “I would love to join you to Inazuma.” To join you anywhere.
His answer lit up a spark of joy on her face. Quickly, finally, she brought her head upwards. “Really—?”
  Chu.
Glee burst to shock at the feel of his lips.
“Kaeya!” Instinctively she pulled back, pupils blown in pure embarrassment over his tease.
Laughter echoed the bright night. While Kaeya was infamous for masking his emotions, the laugh he burst out was both genuine and filled with absolute glee.
How mesmerized she felt to witness such beauty.
“Geez…” Quivered lips pressed a shaky smile. Playfully jabbing his chest once, Lumine then wrapped her arms around his chest. “I have to get used to this, huh?” A sheepish mumble left her lips. Her left cheek nuzzled against his warm chest.
A peaceful sigh left her to feel fingers tickling her back.
“Pretty much.” Happy. “You wanted me to tag along. You pay the price, my dear.” It felt so sinful to be this happy. He nuzzled the top of her head, inhaling the sweet scent of windwheel aster and vanilla that he so dearly loved.
It seems his silly jealousy was—after all—silly.
Finally, her laughter joined his. The two relished in their embrace, making the stars and the moon their witness of the very start of their ever after.

- warnings: general yandere content (nothing super hardcore imo, since jean is so righteous she isn’t a super intense yandere), some minor spoilers for jean’s story.
♥︎  jean gunnhildr
jean has decided to dedicate her entire life to protecting mondstadt- she’s given up the usual life of most young ladies, spending her days hard at work, getting little to no sleep and time for herself for the sake of the city she loves
because of this, it just... catches her off guard when she realizes she’s harboring such strong feelings for someone. jean loves all of mondstadt and its citizens, but this is... different. it’s stronger, all-consuming; enough so it gets in the way of her everyday life
it’s perhaps one of her deepest secrets how... dearly she craves love. days of her childhood (and sometimes evenings when she allows herself some rest) spent reading romance novels, jean has always longed for a soft and reciprocated love, for the gentle emotions that are so delicately portrayed in words in those novels
“thank you, master jean! i’m so sorry for taking up your time for this...” the way they sheepishly thank her after she did something as minor as help them carry their food to their home makes her heart flutter. it’s no shock the acting grandmaster would be helping a citizen with a mundane task- it’s common for everyone to ask for her help with any task no matter how menial or odd. and yet, despite the fact she’s always running around working or helping, she only feels butterflies in her stomach when this particular person thanks her. she thinks of her romance novels- thinks of those words of love, emotions gentle and fragile like silk. but... that’s not quite it; as they walk into their house, jean feels her heart twisting, feels a dark side of her brain whispering little nothings that she tries to brush off. she quickly tries to brush off the dark emotions clouding her mind as she walks back to her office, resisting the urge to look back and try to catch a glimpse of them as they organize their groceries through the window.
she tells herself she’s a knight of favonius before she’s a person, that her duty is more important than any emotion. but like a persistent weed, ignoring her emotions only makes them grow stronger and more intense. she finds herself thinking of them the second her mind strays from whatever she’s doing, and then they’re always in her head even while she works- she finds herself giving little excuses to see them, help them even before they ask despite the fact that she’s got more work waiting for her in her office
those closer to her, such as kaeya and lisa, don’t have to make much of an effort to notice how the acting grandmaster is suddenly so centered on someone. and to all others, it seems sweet; they want jean to be happy, they want her to live her life a little. whenever they try to push her to get a break or rest, they always try to push her closer to her “crush”. as outsiders see it, this is the acting grandmaster finally doing something for herself
... if only anyone could tell how deep the rabbit hole goes, perhaps they’d be desperately trying to get jean away from her beloved instead of pushing them closer. it can’t be blamed that noone can tell- jean keeps herself regal and formal at all times, composed attitude hiding the downright obsessive tendencies and thoughts that swirl around her head, as if intoxicated by the mere thought of her beloved
it’s the middle of the night. mondstadt sleeps- the taverns have long since closed, even drunk bards and citizens having crawled back to their homes to sleep. and yet, jean is awake, finally having finished her workload for the day. it’s not unusual for her to finish work so late, and it’s not unheard of for her to take a walk at said hour to unwind; but it’s definitely weird to see her as she stands in front of a house’s window, just watching. the rational part of her brain tells her to step away, to stop doing this, but the other side of her- the side of her that longs for love, that can’t think of anything but them- just fuels her desire to stay, to watch them sleep through the window. she can’t even register that she’s quite literally stalking them; as she watches them, her heart fills with a warmth and possessiveness she’s never felt before. this isn’t the same type of love she feels for mondstadt- no, this is perhaps, jean’s first intensely selfish desire in a long time
jean is more subtle in her obsession. while to others she might come off as lovestruck or like she’s a young woman exploring her first crush, that’s far from the truth. she’d never dare use the knights or their resources for her own personal desires; jean takes it upon herself to sate her increasingly selfish heart. it’s almost stalkerish how she always seems to make time to keep an eye on her darling, be it when she has to run an errand or once she finishes work at ungodly hours of the night
it only grows worse when they begin to stop by her office, be it to drop off some snacks or just say hi. of course she suspects that lisa or kaeya put them up to it- after all, those two always worry over how hard she works, and it wouldn’t be farfetched to think that they’d go so far to ask the person they know jean likes to come and cheer her up. their actions, while well-meaning, only seem to feed the monster growing in jean’s heart; the domesticity she craves, the soft love she craves so badly, now that she’s gotten a taste of it, how is she supposed to return to her everyday life...?
“master jean, are you sure these knights should be promoted to patrolling outside the city...? they’ve been working as inner city guards for years now...” an older knight stares at the new orders jean has just issued. his concerns may be genuine, but she isn’t one to make hasty decisions. she nods her head, taking the paper from his hands and pointing at the names of the inner city knights to be sent out for patrols.
“it’s precisely because they’ve been working inside the city for so long that they’re being sent out. i have personally seen them train- their skills in battle are great, and we need our strongest knights out in the paths where hilichurls have been setting up camps. the troops that have been patrolling for long now grow weary; it’ll be good to switch them out for some time.” as with every decision she makes, jean always thinks of mondstadt before anything else. and yet, this time, there’s a secondary factor to her order. the memory of accidentally stumbling into her beloved being chatted up by one of the knights stationed inside of mondstadt burns in her mind, the way he was so clearly trying to flirt with them, making them giggle and blush- she might have stepped in and reprimanded the knight for slacking on the job, but that wasn’t enough. in the list of knights to be sent to patrol outside, his name seemed to almost stand out to her- he’d be fine, assigned to a well-traveled route with little incidents; but he’d be far away from her beloved, and that was good enough for her
perhaps it’s lucky that jean trusts the knights so much, that she considers her darling to be safe inside of the city. she must protect mondstadt; she must keep her darling close. jean can feel the shame burning at her gut when she twists some strings to offer them a job as a secretary of the knights- she’s abusing her power, she’s being selfish, but... isn’t she allowed to at least once do something for herself? the job is well paid, it’s not like she’s manipulating them into it, she’s just helping them out; all of the knights seem to be happy that the acting grandmaster is taking on someone to help tackle her ridiculous workload, so it’s all... it’s all fine, isn’t it...?
it’s hard for her to pinpoint where her self restraint breaks. perhaps it’s just because her heart can’t take spending so much time around her darling while keeping up a semblance of professionalism, or perhaps it’s hearing them cheerily speak of their friends and people they’re close with that lights a fire of jealousy in her; it’s as easy as one day jean simply embracing them and pressing her lips to theirs with no warning
it doesn’t matter if they feel the same way. it’s incredibly off-putting once they realize that the composed, regal, and rational acting grandmaster is so delusional. it’s as if days and days of hard work make some part of her rationale just break. this is her perfect romance. this is her perfect love story, and she’ll make it so no matter what
it’s so hard to be mad or to run away. jean is gentle in her affections, but she’s strong. and perhaps more pressuring of it all, she’s now their boss- they happily accepted to work under her, and even though she never even implies it, it’s not hard to imagine she could fire them just as easily. it’s easier to put up with it, to let her indulge her delusions, to make them sit on her lap while she works, to let her brush their hair and snuggle into them, if once the workday is over they can head home and lock the door, try to forget the day and go on with their life until they’re once again going to be in a locked office with her all day
“i love you so much. i promise i’ll never leave you.” jean’s words are sweet, but the soft tone she speaks in doesn’t do much to help how her darling tenses. she’s just returned from a mission that took a couple of days- it’s rare for her to take on fieldwork nowadays, but when she does, it’s almost a prized break for them. and when she returns, she’s worse than ever; clinging to them, not letting them even pretend to try and do their “work” as secretary. she might say her parents splitting and not having had a regular childhood doesn’t affect her, but by the way she swears to never leave, holding them tightly as if she’s scared they’ll run, it’s not hard for them to hazard and guess that she might be trying to fill the void of affection she never had with them.
she’s never hurt them, perhaps her instincts to protect all citizens of mondstadt being stronger than her obsession- but there’s times when she’s come close to it, they can tell by the way her eyes look when they push away, when they try to make excuses to leave work early. there’s not much they can do. if they quit and told everyone that master jean did all she did, who would believe them? nobody in mondstadt would ever believe jean, beloved by all of mondstadt, who works until late into night for the sake of the city, would ever do anything negative to a citizen. they could try to run away, but they don’t have a doubt in their heart that she’d catch them (she’s so much stronger, so much faster. she’s blessed with a vision, trained since birth. and them? they’re just a citizen, someone who’s been protected by the knights all their life). as she holds them close, they can feel her heartbeat; surely she can feel theirs, too. her heart beats fast with love, theirs with anxiety. she takes a deep breath and speaks again. “i think it’s time we moved in together, don’t you think...?”

That's why I like Liyue more out of the two. Like the characters are cool and all but is nobody going to question why Klee, a literal CHILD is allowed to make bombs?? And the knights don't do shit about it! What if one day those bombs accidentally got set off or the Fatui did it on purpose to destroy Mondstadt?
Second, the fking grand master, the person in charge just takes all the cavalry and the best knights to go on an expedition??? Jean is quite good at her job but after the shit Varka pulled Mondstadt is almost defenceless save for a couple of decent people like Diluc or something.
Also, the only reason Dvalin wasn't destroyed was because he was one of the four winds. Smh just because he used to protect them doesn't mean he's still doing it?? He's a whole ass threat and they ignore that. If it were some other dragon it would've been killed in a heartbeat.
In the recent event only Lisa was left in charge. That makes the situation even worse and the abyss order or other enemies could attack but somehow no one realized that might happen??? Lisa's terrifying if she wants to be but she can't handle everything alone. They did not think this through
-⚡ anon (sorry for the word dump I just think Mondstadt has a lot of problems)
hi ⚡️ anon,
EXACTLY???? her actions cannot be excused especially if she’s a child????? SHE BLEW UP A FUCKING ABYSS MAGE THAT MAKES IT ALL THE MORE WORSE???? and jean found out as well and disregarded it bc the abyss order is their enemy HELLO???? they stole the BOMB, SOMETHING SO OBVIOUS AND POWERFUL, what the fuck?
VARKA’S JUST . GONE, POOF! HELLO?? your acting grand master IS STRESSED OUT !!!!!!! my god, mond is full of fucking problems dude even the higher ups won’t do shit
EXACTLY???? like okay sure venti that’s your dragon sure the SAME DRAGON BEING MANIPULATED BY THE ABYSS ORDER, yeah, if we didn’t get there in time god knows mond will be in shreds, n I KNOW someone will be defending stormterror similarly as dream apologists do..... HE ALMOST DESTROYED THE DAMN NATION AND ALL YOU’RE SAYING IS “i can fix him” NO U CANT
RIGHT. the knights should b kept in a leash WHY DID JEAN JUST LET IT SLIDE????? EVEN THOUGH THE LETTER IS SO OBVIOUS, THEY CANT JUST ABANDON THEIR WORK LIKE THAT????? besides, a CHILD, WHO MAKES BOMBS, always comes back unscathed when bombing enemies surely she’ll b okay

This is so long-
Okay, Idea of Xiao fic:
The reader is a spirit born of the desires and dreams of a sick little girl, she has a strange disease that comes suddenly and lasts for long periods of time (months) before healing, leaving for a while and coming back again. That is why she is not usually outside and is usually alone in her room, sick or resting. But she's actually a pretty active, imaginative and curious little girl, and she'd love to travel and explore the world. Not to discourage her, the doctors and her parents told her that when she was older the disease would go away, and that she could go on adventures and live a normal life.
She usually dreamed of waking up to it, imagining herself as an old man in adventures and doing everything she dreamed of doing, so she created an idealized figure of what she would be like as old, who then became an imaginary friend and out of this came the reader. Although, she was rather a quiet person, and was like an older sister, she would tell her stories to distract her when she was sick and also sing songs about them, in addition to giving her hope that she could be healed.
She knew it was cruel, but she couldn't tell her otherwise, besides, a part of her believed that maybe, maybe, her dreams could come true someday.
There was a time in ma when the girl was fine for quite some time, so they let her go out and do whatever she wanted for mondstadt, the reader accompanying her along with her parents. While exploring she saw Venti who was singing a song, she was marabillated and loved his song, telling the reader how they were like hers. Before leaving, Venti made eye contact with the reader and she get scared, no one had ever seen her before and without the little girl noticing, she disappeared. The next day she met Venti again and apparently the girl had talked to him about her, but he knew she was not just an imaginary friend.
"You... what are you?"
She told him what it was (even though she herself didn't know what she was) and her relationship with the girl, she also told him that within here not long they would go to Lyue to find a doctor who could help the girl. He also told her that he would like to be able to make the girl's wishes come true, show her all the fantastic places that she had talked about and sung about and that she could grow up and have the life that she wanted so much. Venti listened and smiled, and asked her to do a duet to sing to the girl, she came and they sang, to her surprise, the people gathered, it seems that during her singing they could see and hear her, but at the end of the song, she became invisible and inaudible to everyone again. As venti left, she felt something heavy and cold against her palm, a bright vision hydro greeting her with her reflection.
She was able to make water and make illusions and shapes with it and used them to tell stories to the girl. Apparently people listened to her, but she decided not to pay too much attention to her, although the girl was happy that more people could enjoy her songs.
They go to lyue and stay at wangshu inn, at first people were scared of the sudden singing voice that started to be heard, but they got carried away by the wonderful voice and became used to it. (I imagine chongyun listening this and going there but we're not going to talk about that-) And Xiao, of course is one of those who hears this too. Although at first he was restless and even a little irritated by the disturbance of the usual silence, he found himself relaxing before the sweet voice, sometimes numbing it. The story is in general of how Xiao and she approach and overcome things like xiao's traumas and in the case of the reader overcome the girl's death. In the end also, the reader turns in a adeptus, Zhongli gave her that charge after seeing that she always went throughout lyue to sing and entertain people (after she overcame the girl's death). The ending would be where xiao and she are happy together, cause they now have someone by their side, someone to care and love.
Isekai idea:
The reader died (yes, she died) in a plane crash (she is now afraid of heights and everything that has to do with flying) and was saved by Paimon and Aether. She is scared and doesn't know what to do (her personality is I think identical to that of the girl from albedo's idea I had). She not knowing anyone and not having a place to go stays with them, but feels a useless and a burden, she is a normal person and cannot cope with monsters and when she sees them she is paralyzed with fear. When they arrive in madnostat, aether tells her to stay there while he makes commissions to earn money, but she feels guilty and asks amber for help in getting a job.
At first she works at Angel's Share, but feels uncomfortable working there among people who get drunk, but says nothing and keeps working. She thinks it would be ungrateful to want to change jobs, so she keeps working there for a couple of weeks. On one of his working days he meets venti, who immediately notices how uncomfortable she is, they talk for a while and he advises her to look for another job, but she does not give up and continues to work there.
Amber one day goes and asks how she is doing, but before the reader can answer Venti tells aber that she is uncomfortable working there and should look for another job. The reader tries to tell Amber that she is ok and doesn't mind working there anymore, but amber interrupts her and goes with her to find another job. In the end they go to where Jean is and on the way they meet Lisa, who was leaving the library. Lisa greets Amber and she returns the greeting, Lisa asks them what they are doing and Amber replies that looking for work for the reader, Lisa offers her work and ends up working in the library. In the end she ends up being quite close to Venti and is the one to whom she has told many things about her ( our) world.
In general she is only a spectator who sees everything from a distance, she doesn't know what todo either and doesn't like to go from one place to another without direction, she would like to have a place to belong to without feeling a stranger all the time. Before going to Lyue Venti gives her a vision (she has the same powers as the albedo idea reader). Honestly, I don't know very well how this story would go, I don't remember very well the story of the game and I don't know any place where I can see it again and in detail. Any ideas for this story are welcome, I need them.
dude... the personalities you give to the reader are so in depth...... normally, writers would just describe the reader vaguely, so im very much impressed. but i think i know why you have difficulty writing for what happens in the main plot? (i hope you don't take this the wrong way, this is just something harmless i noticed)
it seems you focus too much on the back story and it makes the main plot somewhat bland? or perhaps you just chose to miss more details on the main plot cuz you wanted to keep the surprises in your story? however, i do think your first idea was really interesting! i'm only talking about the isekai one (it would make sense if you just came up with the isekai idea recently and don't have much stuff for it yet) i don't think i have ideas concrete enough to be helpful, so i'm sorry about that, but maybe you can do something with the reader's fear of heights? like maybe she fell off from a high place again, and her first meeting with xiao is him catching her? aaaaaa i don't know,, it sounds cliche but i'm the type of person who'd enjoy that stuff ;-;
