pleasrfekflnsfdsa miss lisa.... honestly. i love her. i love that she's incredibly intelligent, but said fuck it and is living her best life
bear with me, but: miss lisa makes you read the book you took out-- which turns out to be a VERY boring history of mondstadt's dullest period-- but with a special little electro vibe in. this is all fun and games until someone else walks into the library to browse and she just stares at you from her desk with heavy-lidded eyes and says, "why'd you stop, cutie? keep going."
lisa has so much knowledge and potential and power but she is absolutely happy being a librarian, taking tea in the middle of the day, doing what she wants and enjoying her life. as she deserves! great power and intelligence doesn't mean you should have to give your life over to something you don't want just because you have it. i love her
AHEM. anon. i am bearing with you.
you only took the book out to spend time in the library; to chance a couple of peeks at the pretty librarian and sigh over her and perhaps moon a little bit. i don't think lisa would miss that for a moment, though. all of your times not returning books just so she'd seek you out herself . . . you never imagined that she'd be plotting something like this!
OH. the extra embarrassment of being walked in on by some other knight of favonius - it's their library, after all. someone like jean probably wouldn't realise what's going on - she's got other things to attend to. but she's also so rigorous and proper; it's embarrassing, going to pieces near her. and she's genuinely interested in what you're reading (bonus points for lisa making you read it aloud very close to her desk, so you have to concentrate on what you're saying and not letting the shake of your voice give you away). lisa would be enjoying that immensely.
and if it were, say, kaeya--
well. he knows exactly what's going on. so all the more reason to find a way to linger, right?
