Been a while since I’ve posted any sort of content. IRL stuff has been hitting hard lately, but here’s two character busts I did, including my own OC Taru (a non-tiefling version of him!)

The Empress’ Son

A drawing of Taru again. I’ve cross-classed him as Eldritch Knight/Hexblade Warlock and it’s been so much stinkin’ fun figuring out the mechanics behind his build.

His mother is a cruel Empress that he ran away from as a child. She finally captured him, though he ended up escaping, but not before his Found Family learned he’s warlock and had no clue who his patron was because it was a deal made out of desperation.

After a ritual to call his patron, he learned he’s a warlock of the Raven Queen and now it’s time to begin his duties-- though he’s not sure what that entails yet!

Poor man lost his long hair... The Empress chopped it all off. He’s very depressed about it. It’s going to be a bitch to grow back out-- awkward phases are even worse when you have horns.

Archfey Quinn

Drew my archfey character, Quinn! He uses he/him pronouns but gender is fake for fey and more of an accessory thing-- literally.  Had fun playing with lighting techniques on this one and just having fun in general for this piece.

Back on my bullshit!

Fiancee and I moved recently into our first house. We moved in the span of just a few weeks, so that was absolutely bonkers. But we’re settling into our new house and I finally got my desk set up.

Started drawing more monster art (stay tuned for future Gabby drawings) and today I picked up D&D map-making on Inkarnate again!

The maps I make will be available on my Patreon as I finish them, along with write-ups of the cities, shops, NPCs.

Hello, everyone!

First, I wanted to apologize for lack of content. Stuff has been going on in real life that's taken all my spell slots to get through. Hopefully, content will resume, but I want to thank you all for your patience and understanding!

Second, to make it easier to submit things for Feline Friday, I now have an email you can send submissions to! So if you're interested in submitting your cat for a chance to have them drawn for Feline Fridays, email me at jaxdrawsartthings@gmail.com with the following filled out:
