ok au where after becoming archivist jon starts getting into the habit of making vent tiktoks in his car after work because tim showed him how and at first he was like “this is stupid” but then it genuinely started helping him decompress so he just kept doing it in secret. and he eventually he gains a minor following who are becoming increasingly concerned because it goes from “the most INSUFFERABLE statement giver came in today” to “i got fucking KIDNAPPED AGAIN!!!”

hi. so for some reason i decided to actually make this sandwich. like just for fun. it was awful!

my slightly modified ingredients either because i don’t have them or don’t actually want this sandwich to kill me:

the butt end of bread more than slightly burnt by me just putting it directly onto an open stovetop

strange unlabeled frozen meat at the bottom of my freezer. it smelled peculiar

sliced turkey with cut up tinfoil on it

chopped up leaves covered in water and ketchup and food coloring

an excessive amount of sriracha

a dry and congealed shiitake mushroom

black watercolor and water

a single cornichon in the center of a large plate

salt water

a slice of american cheese with blue fingerprints on it because my dog ate the actual corruption cheese and i had to improvise

a green olive with a tiny slice of carrot inside because i don’t have a capsicum

an onion i tried to cut into a spiral but it kind of just fell apart

definitely not vegan sausage. it’s real. it’s actually pork. i swear. it came from a real actual pig

um. a rodent i molded from bread and turkey and filled with rainbow sprinkles. picture provided below because i cannot look at it without laughing

couscous? i believe? soaked in warm water. very convincing spider egg alternative

and here is the sandwich in all its glory. i originally rated it 2/10 but i said that and then immediately started retching into the sink so that knocked it down a point. 1/10 do not do this

Me and my friend made a horrid creation called a fear sandwich, each ingredient is based of a tma fear.

1. The end: the bread, specifically the butt end of the bread that had been slightly burnt by the manufacturer.

2. The fleash: some kind of mystery meat. A horrid combination of a bunch of different meats.

3. The slaughter: a nother meat, but it has metal shavings in it.

4. The hunt: a mixed greens but it's poison ivy and grass. (With a bit of blood on it)

5. The desolation: a REALLY hot sauce, like inhumanely spicy.

6. The buried: an entire truffle. Dirt and all.

7. The dark: just squid ink. Way more than is necessary.

8. The lonely: a single very sweet pickle that does not go well with the rest of the sandwich.

9. The vast: a thousand island dressing that is actually just salt water. It's also really cold.

10. The corruption: very moldy cheese, it's just all mold, with maggots in the senter, as a suprise.

11. The eye: one of those toothpicks that goes through the sandwich holding it together. It also has a little olive with the capsicum in the middle of it on top. (The olive is uncomfortably moist)

12. The spiral: a very strangely cut onion that doesn't even really taste like onion, but you can't tell exactly what it tastes like, so you just sit there in mild confusion and terror of what you just ate.

13. The stranger: a sausage that you think is normal meat but is actually a vegan sausage.

14. The extinction: a very rare very endangered animal filled with micro plastics.

15. The web: what looks to be sesame seeds on the bread, but are actually very small spider eggs. (It's a delicacy in some places, it would be rude not to have it)

The Cupid scene but it’s Leo’s crush on Jason getting outed with Nico as the witness. and then they bond over unrequited crushes on heroes with perfect girlfriends.

In Fairy Tail it's not as obvious just how powerful Lucy is compared to the other characters. The others are front line fighters, incredible physical attacks and bursts of magic. Lucy summons celestial spirits.

But! When we first met Lucy she could barely summon more than one spirit per fight, the idea of summoning multiple spirits at once was impossible for her. And on top of that it was incredibly difficult for even other well-known celestial wizards to summon two or more spirits at once. By later seasons, Lucy summons multiple spirits a fight and often at least two at a time.

Like, her level of power as a celestial wizard is unheard of, and here she is as a young adult who only began full on wizard training a few years before (compared to most of her friends who have been training most of their lives), and at this near impossible level of strength and only growing.

So I've been rewatching the Twilight movies and certain scenes from them recently, and there's something that caught my eye while going through the post-battle scene in Eclipse.

We have Jane and the others show up, being like "blah blah blah, you guys did pretty well against all these newborns, how curious, blah blah" before Jane notices that one of the newborns is still alive, pointing out Bree.

Now, here's where it gets interesting for me. Because Jasper immediately moves and stands next to her protectively.

And yeah, sure, he's the newborn expert, he's in charge of all-things newborn vampires, so in that sense alone it makes sense for him to associate himself with her in that way, but I think it's a lot more than that; namely something that is always mentioned in passing in the movies, but never really pointed out as something significant (unlike Edward's telepathy and Alice's precognition, which are always mentioned first in terms of desirable acquisitions of power). I of course speak of his pathokinesis.

Bree is scared. At this point she has realized that she's a vampire and what that means for her life, but she has no idea if she will come out of this stand-off alive, so naturally, she is nervous.

And thanks to his pathokinesis, of course Jasper can feel that. So I think he's standing with her, almost protectively, not just because he's in charge of her, but because he can feel her fear and tries to comfort her with his presence (she with her vampire sight can of course see that his skin is decked out in scars, so that intimidating display alone probably tells her him being on her side is a good thing).

And then we come to Jane starting to torture Bree, and me having another observation.

When she falls to the ground and is screaming in agony, we can assume that Jasper can feel that, too (not the pain itself, but the mental anguish connected to it). And look how startled he seems when he sees her fall and looks from Bree to Jane.

This moment here makes me think that this is probably the first time he's ever seen Jane's power in person. Of course he knew about her, knew what her powers are. Alice probably filled him in in detail about the events in Volterra from New Moon, and I assume Carlisle has shared many stories over the years, too.

But hearing about something and actually seeing it first-hand are two very different things.

For someone like him, who can feel what other people are feeling, from their happiest moments to their most devastating mental pain, watching Jane not only use her powers, but relish in their effect without a second thought since she can't feel the pain she's causing, must be absolutely nauseating, for lack of a better word.

Jasper's experienced several lifetimes of anguish by proximity and is trying his best to make others feel better, while Jane deals blow after blow with her powers without any consequence. It must feel wrong and unfair to him.

Anyway, back to the point.

This is the face of a man who has fully realized what the antagonistic force is capable of, and he'll be sure to be prepared, next time they cross paths.

And lastly, something sad.

He turns his back on Bree, probably because he can't deal with watching her die on top of feeling her fear and pain. Neither he nor the other Cullens can stop Bree's death from happening without declaring war on the Volturi in the process (because I'm certain that's how Jane and the others would see their push-back).

So all he can do is turn away, and maybe make an effort to lessen her pain (it doesn't look like he did, but I think it would make sense if he used his powers to make death less frightening for Bree).

Anyway, rest in peace, Bree, you would have made a wonderful addition to the Cullen family. ♥

Warden finds Jasper to be exhausting, honestly. Can you imagine trying to collect a bounty on someone, and they won't stop hitting on you the whole time?? He drives him crazy. 😂 He would have decided the bounty wasn't worth it a long time ago if it hadn't become a matter of pride at this point. Jasper doesn't mind being chased around by a big handsome wolf, he finds it entertaining, if anything.

As for his parents? Rouge thinks it's cute. 😆 Baby's first wanted poster!! Knuckles is less enthusiastic, he wishes Jasper wouldn't cause so much trouble, and he worries about him getting hurt. Jade doesn't really care either way, she's happy to see her brother having fun! However, if she saw Warden actually trying to hurt her brother he would have her to deal with. Eggman has found out she is not the pacifist he originally thought her to be when he tried to use Jasper as a hostage in the past!

Ha ha ha……. Oh god, I’ll get to that when I get to it. Lets start with more of Jaspers good points and leadership skills first

Jasper makes a great point here.

The Lodgers are the society! They make the magic, the energy, the environment, Jekyll is just the ring leader of it all making sure things don’t get to out of hand, but in the end he had started to have a hard time being able to find that control and keep them in check.

This is why a type of “revolution” like this will do more good then harm in this situation because it will allow Jasper to take Jekylls place of keeping everyone together as the times turn and they need to protect themselves.

But uh… maybe the lodgers might not see this as I do

Ok ok, I get the Lodgers hesitants, Fritz brought to my attention that because Jasper is the newest lodger, despite everything they probably dont have enough trust in him.

Which I definitely get, they are in hard times right now and its hard to trust Jasper, even if they’ve known him for a while they were just betrayed by someone they’ve known for years, how can they trust someone they’ve known for a little over a month (I think)

Also theres a reason why I said that one off comment, not only because it was a trope I see a lot, but because I truly felt like it was a possibility

BUTTTT!! With this it doesn’t necessarily mean that they wont 100% not follow through with what Jasper is saying.

It is clear that they are unsure, yes, but they may need to think it over, and theres got to be a few lodgers who agree with his points.

Some who agree with Jasper that may help the other Lodgers get on board to. If they are truly Reluctant to Jasper leading them because they haven’t known him for long, if some people who they have been living with for years joining up may give them the boost to join.

Jasper made many great points in his speech, and with so many people not everyone could have disagreed with what he said.

I believe this moment of doubt will be just that, a moment, but once other people start agreeing and maybe adding their own points, then it will grow into what Jasper wanted before, the lodgers believing him and letting him lead them in this hard time

It will be the next part of this turning point into someone more confident for Jasper, because while motivating the lodgers with words might be easy, actually forming a plan and leading them through it will be harder, it will also teach him to not give up quickly when things look bad.

Hyde’s just casually acting like he didn’t just have a mental breakdown and immediately just teases Lanyon (I love them so much chat it’s unreal)

ALSO THIS CONFIRMS THAT HYDES MENTAL BREAKDOWN WAS HAPPENING THE SAME TIME AS JASPERS SPEACH!!!

Anyway, back to the actual pannel.

I find it interesting how in Hydes head, he also has a reputation to keep up, its not just Jekyll. The only difference is that hyde has his tough guy, bad boy rep (I hate myself for saying that) He cant let anyone see his weakness, not even Jekyll.

He clearly has mentally trained himself to be able to just change his mood on a switch, but even if he can change how he acts his face has to show some evidence of what happened, i mean we’ve seen him be a little bloody from the glass and Lanyon must have seen that too.

He might be talking about what Hyde looks like when he said he made quite a mess out of himself, not only the glass, which might make Hyde nervous, i feel like he wont be able to keep his facade up for long with how he was acting before.

It’s a little hard delve into the few words they exchanged but im excited for the next update, which may include some blaming of what happened to Jekyll.

(Also more Lanyon and Hyde which I’ll take anyday 🙏🙏)

Because there’s been a lot of attention on Jasper lately, I wanted to concretely explain my theory about mind Jasper before it’s too late!

So far all we know about mind Jasper is that there is a mind Jasper (from what I know lol) and so I’ve thought quite a bit about what exactly he would serve plot wise.

Something that has been theorized for a long time is that Jasper would be a parallel/counter part to Jekyll. Not only is he new to everything, but he very much cares about what everyone thinks of him (just in different ways and for different reasons), but he is actively learning and as we’ve seen through these past few chapters especially, he’s managed to stand up for himself and improve.

Now to be a mind person in jekylls brain, you gotta be someone you look up to in one way or another (and represent something). Lanyon is perfection, a high society man. Frank is that hydish part of him, free to do the mad science and experiment to his heart’s desire. I think mind Jasper would be not only compassion, but a middle ground.

Here’s the big thing: Jasper still doesn’t have the perfect cure for his wolfbane thing, like it’s still an issue and ito is still making the solution. Guess who is the other alchemist besides Jekyll? Guess who also deals with transformation issues?? GUESS WHO STILL HAS THE NOTES FROM THE ORGINAL HJ7???

My theory for the foreseeable plot/future is that Hyde tries to explain the situation, frank an ito work on a new solution and Rachel and Jasper get to know the REAL Hyde, and work with to either get to know him better in general or conect the bridge between Hyde and Jekyll. Jasper will understand Hyde on a deeper level due to his own experiences (not just the werewolf thing! :) and help him accept himself.

Im imagining in that moment we see that there is newly created mind Jasper and he would help Jekyll find his way to the surface back to consciousness. Then it comes full circle!

Anyways wanted to get my thoughts out there, sorry for the long ramble!

I wanna write this eventually but, I have a Bramblestar's Storm au in which the literal storm still happens, but instead of a stupid love triangle, it's about Bramblestar facing consequences for being a DF trainee in TNP.

The Clan is still divided on the OOTS trainees, and then when it's revealed that Bramblestar was an og trainee, all hell breaks loose. ThunderClan almost splits in half. And because of the physical storm going on, it almost destroys them. The pressure is immense. Some cats want Bramblestar forgiven, some don't trust him, and some hate him, because he saw firsthand what Tigerstar was like. He knew better than almost any DF trainee just how horrible Tigerstar had been. But he still trained with him.

So ThunderClan must try to reunite under the hurricane, while Bramblestar struggles to keep everyone together when so many simply don't trust him.

Thinking about Jason Grace who has never had a decent experience with romance.

His first contact with it was with his best friend and fellow praetor, one forged by Rome’s expectations but not his will.

His second experience - also the last - was a fake girlfriend given upon his manipulative step-mother’s ideas, who later turned out to be into girls. It also created a rift between him and his previous almost-girlfriend, who above all was his best friend.

And the only time he got to meet a god of love - the supposedly cute and sweet Cupid - was only to watch, in helplessness, the god brutally threaten his friend to come out as a payment for helping them save their world.

All of that - and he died before he got to know what love’s supposed to mean.

It's Jasper, the little boy witch! From Moist and Magical

I've started drawing sfth characters in costumes correct to the time period they're set in. Jasper is from c.1745 and I've dressed him accordingly. More info beneath the cut:

So up until the edwardian period most children's costume was just mini versions of adults clothing. So I have dressed Jasper in mini men's clothes from around 1740, as Jasper, as he was not a noble, would not have been wearing the most up to date clothing, fashion-wise. He would have also most likely have been wearing hand-me-downs which accounts for the patches and missing buttons on his clothes. His hair is also quite long, but I think this is him growing it out into the popular tied back hairstyle of the period.

Anyways that's hopefully a bit of context as to how Jasper would have dressed.
