It’s shine muscat season in Japan!

These grapes are quite the luxury item with prices usually over 1000¥. This however the price is reportedly 20-30% cheaper this year so you can find some great deals! I had this delicious shine muscat and strawberry cake at Kajitsuen.

Super cute leather cases and wallets created by fisherman_leather, using old 菓子型 kashigata designs.

Kashigata are molds used to make Japanese style sweets, especially rakugan (a type of higashi ie. dried candies), though they can also be used for more "moist" wagashi cakes. They can be made from cherry wood (木型 kigata), or ceramic, etc. Some are bit-size while others are quite big and detailed!
