can i just say how wild the discourse around Elden Ring and Mohg in particular is as a person who has been hyperfixated on Legacy of Kain for an uncomfortably long time?

all of the main characters in that series make Marika/Messmer/Ranni/Mohg/Miquella look like literal saints and I can only imagine how rancid the disco horse around them would have been if LoK had come out today.

i guess what i'm trying to say here is that it's okay to like characters who are certified Terrible People Who Do Terrible Things and we don't need to tie ourselves in knots to try to make these terrible people The Good Guys

So what are those marks on Janos' arms?

He had them in the original version of the game, too, but I thought it was simply due to the graphics of the time. But here the model has been revamped from scratch, and they decided to keep those scars/cuts (?). Are they simply supposed to be veins, or did he use to feed Vorador and perhaps even young, fledgling vampires his blood?

I have an unhealthy fixation on Janos's wings ever since I first saw him in Soul Reaver 2 remastered. I want everyone to know that. Devoured every fanfic I can get in AO3. It's "I am looking in FF.net because it's that dire" and "I am drawing comics" kind of bad....
