kicking my feet like a schoolgirl. wouldn't it be fucked up if the Architect found the HoF when they went to the deep roads on their Calling. wouldn't it be fucked up if they fought their way as deep as they could go until they're too blighted and injured to go on and the Architect picked them up on the verge of death and kept them alive and experimented on them with darkspawn & archdemon & his own blood until they're corrupted and immortal like him

#dragon age #dragon age awakening #the architect #hero of ferelden #wouldn't it be fucked up if they were also a mage so now you have a mad corrupted blighted hero with obscene amounts of power #i see the architect in his lab with amell laid out on the table using blood magic to keep the lungs and heart pumping #slooowly taking some of their blood and replacing it with his own (amells blood will be used to 'free' more darkspawn)#so very carefully like he's sewing with spider silk #their skin has gone grey and mottled. red tendrils snaking out from the mouth where the skin has split from old injuries #tattoo black #nails cracked and jagged #and they JOLT in place. then LURCH forward. and twitch again. the architect pulls them to a standing position #their voice dry and cracked they ask 'where...'#'the Deep Roads' 'who...' 'you are the Commander. I am the Architect.' 'when...' #ocarina of time #oot #ganondorf #excuse how cunty hes drawn here it is because i want him. anyway #just as a sidenote these are examples of like 2 different kinds of smiles i feel like i associate with him #first one is the Almost Grimace. or like a wider more performative smile #which happens to be offputting sometimes because he has a tendency to show too much of his incisors. cute and also occasionally offputting #the second one is like. you know how (especially in Wind Waker iirc) he will grin but like. only the corners of his mouth show his teeth #and the middle part stays closed somehow. it’s not just when he smiles either it’s just like a thing he does with his face #its so funny its such a unique trait. anyway i like to think that one is less practiced and more genuine #i also like his silly jagged teeth in wind waker…..i think its meant to be partly some permanent effect from his Boar Events #but also like. what if his teeth are kind of just jagged in some places and not perfectly straight #even when he’s much younger lol like he’s just always kinda had that.#extreme charm point…….imo……………

this is so gross but I've finally lost the last chunk of a tooth that was breaking apart in the back of my mouth and driving me insane for a year now and it feels so freeing honestly. whatever new dentist I get when my dental insurance comes through in less than a week is gonna be so disappointed and it's probably gonna cost a small fortune to deal with, but I don't care. I'm living my truth and I'm not ashamed.

I wonder what it’s like to be able to kick a habit quickly and easily. I had to do four different things in order to stop biting my nails and I still occasionally fuck up (only when I break a nail but still)

#thing 1 was probably the most effective. it was bad tasting nail polish #i applied it RELIGIOUSLY morning and night so that if it came off in the shower or through handwashing; it was going right back on #after the first week i would say the urge died down but i did keep going for 3 weeks total #thing 2 was making my nails look nice to keep me from wanting to pick at them #the bad tasting polish helped because it gave them a shine and meant they started to grow and repair because they weren’t being bitten #i also started using jojoba oil on my cuticles #i still do this. and i usually have my nails painted to protect them and keep them looking nice #thing 3 was chewing gum all the time because i figured if there’s something else in my mouth; i can’t bite my nails #i picked sugar free strawberry gum because it tastes nice and the flavour lasts a surprisingly long time #so i would fidget with the gum instead of fidgeting by biting my nails #i still occasionally do this #thing 4 was knitting or crocheting constantly to occupy my hands #i still do this. i’m literally looking around for things to make #i’m so envious of the people who can do it with just pure willpower. i am NOT built like that #show me a jagged fingernail and there’d better be a nail file extremely close by or i’m biting it off. STILL #i cracked my thumbnail earlier and had to drop everything i was doing and run downstairs to clip it #and people wonder why i don’t smoke or drink. BABE. if i start something i never stop #i’m going to try to give up impulse buying next year and i already know it’s going to be a bloodbath #i’m probably going to have to cancel my credit card and buy a nokia brick #or like move somewhere i can’t receive packages. tbh #personal
