Torvah couldn’t control that either, not with the technology they had available at the time. They tried! At Arty’s request, they tried. But that’s why Arty asked for blanket emotional suppression at one point, which they refused. It wasn’t pleased.

Arty knowing it has dogshit emotional regulation and patience is also part of why it does not want or expect others to like it. It is well aware it can be very hard to be around and that it would be unreasonable to expect loyalty from anyone.

I for one certainly did not expect anyone to really like it when I made it. One of my early concepts was ‘does good things, but is insufferable/too creepy to tolerate/etc - performs helpful acts and then fucks off’ which is to an extent still true, but not entirely.

Arty gives more of a shit about Vallis, even. Which is part of why it avoids him for now. Because it’s frustrated by the fact that he could be better and isn’t…but it also knows it tends to be too hard on him.

Arty knows patience is not one of its virtues. In its own words ‘being forced to wait for over four hundred and sixty sweeps used it all up’.

Arty just like o^o? I mean, he never had much of a chance anyway. He’s rich and benefits from his social position, he just wants to get everything he wants forever and never have to meaningfully change himself or his views. Like most rich people who can get away with murder. There’s thousands of them.

Legit Viltau is the one of the RRBC/their quads Arty finds the least interesting and that’s funny to me.

All Arty incarnations must be freaks somehow but the fully human ones, while they might stab a dude in an emergency, are otherwise pretty amicable.

Lancer one is Something but at least less deranged then fantroll one. Fully loyal to and would die for their squad.

It helps that Pokémon AU Arty is just a gay depressed nerd who while still unquestionably a freak, would never hurt most people.

It is really funny though. Especially since his hate is so one-sided in fantrolls because Arty is like “who? oh right, him”

p much the only AU verse i rp is Pokemon AU as usually im not interested in AUs outside of minor 'what if' scenarios and vague concepts in my head, but one thing i enjoy about AUs is when character relationships are completely different depending on the verse

It’s very funny to me that some people don’t mind Tuuya but are unsettled by Arty and vice versa.

They are both creepy bastards and it’s entirely reasonable to be bothered by either/both, and even funnier to me if someone actually enjoys both as characters.

I like depicting lusii who aren’t horribly abusive or anything, but they aren’t great either. Hester’s lusus is the only one like that I currently have on my roster, but I used to have others.
