See, here is where we're at re 'is Nisha Lawful Evil'

Out of these three, Nisha is most definitely closest to the second Type. She's definitely not "Lawful over Evil". I'd say even Jack is closer to that. Jack is the one who has lofty ideas about creating a better world, purging Pandora of bandits and creating is capitalist utopia. When Nisha talks about the Hyperion agenda in Borderlands 2, it is mostly in a slightly amused way. And while she supports it by guarding the Eridium shipments, she's not directly an enforcer for Jack the way Wilhelm is. Mostly she just wants to run Lynchwood - which she also isn't really trying all that hard to turn it into a "peaceful", hyper-controlled place, she even states as much:

"Rumours that Lynchwood might become as civilised as Opportunity are not to be believed. Let Jack have his ivory towers. I came to Pandora for action."

So she's not really trying to build any kind of society - she's trying to create a scenario where she can commit atrocities unbothered (and realised that the best profession to do that is to be a cop lmao). The only aspect that fits here is that she specifically likes to go after bandits. Or, anyone she considers a bandit. But we also know from TPS that she's perfectly fine with a) killing pretty much anyone or anything else and b) being considered a bandit herself. And I think it's important to point out that in the society we encounter in Borderlands, killing and hunting bandits for fun and sport or whatever is perfectly normalised - obviously, self-defence is another big reason - but if you have power, money or are just really good with a gun, you're actively encouraged to go out and murder as many bandits as you like and the more you kill, the bigger the hero you are. And Nisha, much like Jack, is perfectly content to label people bandits the moment they piss her off or inconvenience her if she has a chip on her shoulder.

She's also not really the Type 3. Something that does apply, at least occasionally, is the idea of 'honour' - like the fact that she challenges the Vault Hunters for a duel. But we also see her go back on her word when she feels like it, like in the Pre-Sequel when that one Lost Legion soldier asks for his life to be spared: All the other characters let him go, except Nisha. She first says 'yes', then decides to hunt him down and strangle him when he least expects it. Yes, she creates a set of laws in Lynchwood that allow her to hang anyone she feels like - but somehow I doubt that if someone not breaking any of her laws would stop her from killing them if she felt like it.

Also, she isn't evil until she clocks out, then goes home and acts like a different person. She's always Like This. Yes, she can be friendly and jovial and chill when she feels like it, but a) her cruelty and blood-thirst usually show, she's just funny about it and b) it's not like she's disconnecting from the evil she does or rationalises it. She simply doesn't care. The reason she can be cordial and polite or even close with people despite of all the murders isn't because there is a distinction between those two sides of her - but because there isn't: She's pretty open about who she is. She doesn't normalise it, she doesn't think 'oh, I'm following orders / it is my job to do this' or 'other people are doing it too' - she didn't slip into this line of 'work', she doesn't really have any values or beliefs bigger than herself (sure, she supports Hyperion but she's also announcing the fact that she considers it all a bit silly over the loudspeakers to the entire town of Lynchwood).

The closest thing to apply is "Evil over Lawful" - creating Lynchwood and creating the laws of Lynchwood is mostly a set-up to allow her to do things 'for the Evulz' - luring people to Lynchwood to torment them is basically her mouse-trap for endless fun.

But if we look at -

Chaotic Evil - some of these ironically fit her a lot more.

And ironically even here, I wouldn't put her into "Evil over Chaos". Now, this might be controversial because being 'evil' is a very, very big aspect of Nisha's character. In fact, she arguably might be more evil than Jack (she arguably might be the most evil character in the Borderlands-universe)(even if they're both extremely cruel people, Jack's motives are also ambition, revenge, arrogance, his idea of bringing 'peace', etc. Nisha's sadism is a lot more undiluted. She really, really just wants to hurt people. This, ironically, also makes her kill fewer people than Jack - because Jack is that 'million is a statistic' kind of villain, even if he genuinely enjoys killing. He has a mission. Nisha doesn't. Sitting in a space station and sending soldiers and moonshots to kill her enemies just wouldn't be enough to keep her entertained. We see that in her lines at Wilhelm:

"That's lame. I like my kills more personal." "An unmanned drone? Can't even watch them die that way!" "Boring!"

She doesn't care about Pandora or the Warrior or Hyperion - she cares about hanging around Lynchwood, killing bandits like they're ants and she's got a magnifying glass. And the fact that she's also perfectly fine with Pandora potentially being fried to a crisp if Jack manages to raise the Warrior indicates that she's also fine going somewhere else, if Lynchwood doesn't work out. But...she's also not really a card-carrying villain. She wouldn't ally with someone just because they're evil if that meant that they would ask her to do stuff she doesn't feel like doing - we see that in her interactions with Tassiter. So yeah, for her it seems to be Chaos (freedom) over Evil.

And since she likes to use her freedom to hunt bandits and for her western larping shtick - the whole Sheriff thing seems to be a pretty sweet deal for her interests. Not because she care about the law, but because she cares about fun and impunity.

And that's how you end up being so Chaotic, you're turning Lawful again.

(She also definitely has traits of 'Intelligent Monster' - she really, really likes killing people/beings just to prove she can (which is a common trait among Vault Hunters but it is also what makes Nisha become a Vault Hunter.))

Follow up to post 1 and post 2 about The Silent Alpha!

The Silent Alpha author be like "you know what would be the biggest emotional cockblock to my readers? having Natalia get a call from Jack/Christian informing her they have Dakota and then cut to Zane who is away doing a completely different thing for 4 chapters in a row"

I know I said I would take a break and give it time to update but I couldn't resist when I saw the chapter from today was from Christians POV, I just couldn't stay away 😅 and WOW its getting fucking juicyyyyy (and sad as fuck actually at least for one person specifically 🥺) so this is another post talking about how WILD this shit is.

-it's like, genuinely kind of complicated for me to break down Zane's B plot side story. Um. He's originally from the Red Haven Pack, but grew up being horribly abused by his father Sebastian, for multiple reasons but mostly because, Zane's stutter isn't from trauma, its natural and genetic, and he would be beaten and called weak. His father would force him to try and recite poetry without stuttering and WHIP HIM when he failed, and it became to the point Zane became completely mute from the trauma. Sebastian would even hit and beat his own fated mate Riona whenever she tried to protect Zane, saying she was making him too weak and soft

-the entire red haven pack abused and mocked Zane and the only people who were kind to him were Agnes (who is an Omega who is also mute on top of being deaf, which made her be horribly abused as well) and the pack Gamma, Wyatt. Zane was eventually even demoted to an Omega by his father and his half brother Caine is made the heir and future Alpha. This is a MASSIVE social shame, being demoted from an Alpha to a rank which is often treated like slaves. It not only strips him of his future right as leader but literally takes away his right to be treated as a respectable wolf PERIOD

-meanwhile, the Red Haven Pack is at war with the Ravenstone Pack, lead by Toren Ravenstone. In the past, Toren killed the mate of Sebastian's brother and the Red Haven Packs original Alpha, Cyrus, and then Cyrus as well, and then Red Haven also killed Zane's mom, and even at one point bombed a daycare filled with Red Haven pups, and all this? On top of killing Zane's elder brother Jonathan as a pup.

- we go through a really significant portion of this entire story seeing from Zane the horrific shit he went through because of this war and what it did to his family. After his mom's death he was completely alone and his abuse got worse, Sebastian took a political marriage mate who hated Zane and Sebastian also hates her too but lets her abuse Zane because, Zane is subhuman as far as he's concerned. Like. You know how I mentioned the stepmother came on to Zane and then when he rejected her, she cried assault? It is described that her son Caine literally whipped his back "to ribbons". Like. If you're not colorful with your imagination, that's being whipped so hard and so many times it's literally cutting your skin off of your body in pieces.

-AND IT WAS ALL A LIE. LAYERS UPON LAYERS OF LIES that i would literally have to list them. During several conversations with Ravenstone leading up to the battle and Zane using his mind powers to enter his father's memories, we learn the truth

1. "Ravenstone killed Cyrus and his mate" CYRUS WAS A LYING PIECE OF SHIT WHO USED BLACK MAGIC TO MAKE HIS 'MATE' FALL FOR HIM. The magic wore off and the mate, Brianna, realized that she was under the influence of magic and that her real mate was TOREN, but Cyrus was not only in love with her but he was also chasing power. He thought they would be The Fated Pair, which is a reference to Aurora from The Ivory Queen, the first book, and the same Aurora who was helping Natalia and Zane. Every 150 years, the Ivory Twins, legendary wolves especially blessed by the moon goddess to protect the entire werewolf race, are born from the union of a gold and a silver wolf, and Cyrus thought by manipulating Brianna with magic, that they would become the ones to birth the legendary Ivory Twins. When Brianna snapped out of it and wanted to go to Toren, Cyrus freaked out and killed her, and then Toren killed HIM upon finding Cyrus plunging a knife into his mate's chest

2. "Ravenstone killed Zane's mom" this was direct retaliation for Brianna. Cyrus killed Brianna and so Toren killed Rhiona. But Rhiona was somehow revived, her wolf giving her life to save Rhiona, and upon being resurrected without her memories, she genuinely fell in love with Toren, who never even concealed the truth that he ordered her death. By contrast, Sebastian basically just uses his new political marriage as a breeding whore and openly disrespects her feelings. And by the way, when Rhiona was dying she was literally screaming for help through the mate bond and Sebastian ignored her because he was mad. He ignored his mate screaming for help during an enemy attack because his feelings were hurt and then he was shocked his mate was killed. Wow

3. I just remembered it's actually Scarlet Haven and not Red Haven. Lmao. Anyways for this lie, "Scarlet Haven bombed a daycare" nope. Wasn't even them. Read further.

4. "Scarlet Haven killed Jonathan" The true villain behind the curtain, the real mastermind behind everything, was Sebastian and Cyrus' father, Zane's grandfather. This abusive fucking monster was an Alpha who believed his rank and position meant never showing "weakness" to EXTREME degrees. Loving your family? Weakness! Mourning a dead loved one? Weakness! Feeling love at all? WEAKNESS. Rhiona defended Zane from being bullied once and Grandpa orders Seb to "teach her her place before I do it for you" and Sebastian, clearly afraid of what his father will do to his mate, "saves her" by slapping her in the face

Gramps' Gift (that's the word they use for their special powers) is just like, his eyes glowing and you're in massive amounts of pain, so Zane is literally a toddler being tortured for being unable to speak properly and Sebastian had to get down on his hands and knees "PLEASE DONT KILL MY PUP, I CAN FIX HIM, I PROMISE I CAN FIX HIM" like jesus christ even Sebastian had massive amounts of internalized trauma to the point he does something HORRIFIC

Sebastian goes for a ride in the car with little baby Jonathan before he's suddenly ran off the road by wolves. He crawls from the broken wreckage of the car to see... his own father. Sebastian takes out the other wolves before his father even moves, and then, he speaks

"Kill Jonathan. We need allies in this war and his death will garner us sympathy. Kill your son"

Sebastian is literally TORTURED by his father's gift, writhing in pain, begging his father to let him find another way, but, the COWARD eventually agrees just to end his pain. Sebastian takes his baby boy out of his car seat and snaps his neck, his own son, a BABY IN A CAR SEAT. Killing Jonathan, bombing the daycare of pups, it was ALL the lies of Sebastian's father, it was THEM ALL ALONG

-Sebastian's own men turn their guns on him with horror and disgust because they've been fighting a WAR over LIES??? Just a chapter prior, Toren Ravenstone officially turned his pack over to Zane, and as the new Alpha, he, with his new pack, torture and kill Sebastian, although Zane's wolf Grayson takes over so that Zane can retain some humanity

-my god it's delicious, before killing Sebastian, Zane absolutely dismantled this man. He used his mind powers to get in his head and force his own memories onto his father, so he made his father feel and experience the pain and trauma of his childhood, like being whipped until he bled but never screaming, the isolation from his pack, the pain of his father's disapproval, rhe pain of watching his mother be beaten, and then, the absolute king, mindlinks Toren and Toren's son up to Sebastian TO CUCK HIM AND RUB IN HIS FACE HOW MUCH HAPPIER RHIONA WAS WITH TOREN. he's literally making his father watch as Rhiona wakes up every single morning and tells Toren "i love you", like, Every Morning. Actually, the entire reason the current battle is happening, like the war is one thing but the attack they're in right now specifically, was because he found out Rhiona was alive and wanted her back, so not only does Zane remind Sebastian of all his years of cruelty but also shows him how ACTUALLY INSIGNIFICANT HE WAS to Rhiona. In fact the literal same night Rhiona died, she had already served Sebastian divorce papers and was going to leave with Zane and Seb was. Just gonna let her. And then he didn't protect her and she died and then he thinks he has the right to come and claim her like TWENTY YEARS LATER? Fuck this man. Cowardly, cowardly ass dog.

-Dakota is unintentionally the biggest fucking savage to Christian and Jack. "You're not my Daddy because daddies kiss mommies and Zane kisses Mommy all the time and they play games together like Horsey in the Desert" IM PISSING, DAKOTA WALKED IN ON THEM HAVING SEX ONCE AND THAT WAS THEIR EXPLANATION, that "Daddy was a horsey and Mommy was riding him and we're in the desert so we got really hot and had to take all our clothes off" LMAOOOOOOOO CHRISTIAN IS LIKE SMILING THROUGH GRITTED TEETH "Oh isn't that nice, mommy has a friend :)" with his eyes twitching and shit

- I had a fear this would happen: Jack as a wolf does not have the patience or understanding to deal with Dakota who is only 4. Son of a bitch loses his temper and tells Dakota to his face he's going to kill Zane and keep Dakota forever and in defiance Kota just pees his pants and Jack TAKES THE BELT TO HIM and even tells him afterwards he isn't allowed to cry. Christian you absolute fucking coward, TAKE BACK YOUR BODY AND PROTECT YOUR SON

-there are so many details thrown out that it's hard to tell which ones to mention without just entirely recapping every single detail of the story. When Derek was travelling to find Vanessa, he was allowed to use an old cabin that belonged to Silver Crest and was kind of living there for the time being. When he found Vanessa, she had absolutely no intention of coming back and didn't even know she was pregnant. When he tells her she immediately becomes protective of her new child, begging him to spare her baby, that she just wants to live her life. She and Derek have a deep conversation where she admits what she did to Natalia is wrong and she hates herself for it, she would take it back if she could, Christian wasnt who she thought he was and she never should have hurt her sister, like Derek even gives her tough love for her to take accountability. And you know what? When Derek rejected Vanessa, she didn't reply, as in, she didn't verbally accept which completes the process. She's still vaguely holding on to hope that she can love, and maybe there's a chance?

- sigh. Later on Christian, because he killed his mom, can't immediately return to Silver Crest because his father is looking for him and instead goes to the old cabin where he finds Vanessa living there. She doesn't realize that it is Christian who comes in and is at the stove all "oh hey are you back already, did you forget something", very clear she's been staying there with someone. He finds out she's still pregnant, that it's not his and gets pissed (they WERE still having sex after all???), not that it mattered if it was, and he just starts kicking her in the stomach in front of Dakota until DEREK barges in, ready to fight for their lives

-I'm sitting here thinking, this is it! Moon Goddess gave Vanessa another wolf, another chance, Vanessa is repetent, Goddess mentioned Vanessa can make her wolf strong if they try hard, im pumping my fist, im getting hype, im thinking Vanessa will help Derek rescue Dakota--

Christian snaps Derek's neck. Derek is dead.

-the very next chapter "Vanessa's POV. Trigger warning: this chapter contains a miscarriage" NOOOO!!! 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞 WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS AUTHOR. SHE DOESNT NEED TO BE PUNISHED LIKE THIS. She's literally helping clean and wash Dakotas clothes after peeing himself and helping cook for him and she's mourning her pup and having to step into the bathroom alone so little Kota doesn't see her bleeding on the toilet 🥺 poor Vanessa. If she dies I'm legitimately going to fucking cry

-meanwhile, Jordan has found Natalia and they're flying back to Maine where Silver Crest pack is, and Vanessa manages to call Jordan at the perfect time to tell Natalia she's with Dakota and where they are. She has to hide the phone as Jack/Christian comes back from disposing of dereks body and Natalia hears how he speaks to Vanessa and how Vanessa is trying to defend her son "please let him sleep, i-i can keep an eye on him, he'll be cranky when he wakes up" and Christian tells her fine, but he has divorce papers and she has to leave in the morning

-Natalia overhears Christian asking "and what about the baby?" And LAUGHING as Vanessa cries

-Christian, actual fucking monster, when bringing up divorce, when Vanessa immediately agrees, "what, you aren't going to fight for me?" you made her MISCARRY YOU NARCISSISTIC FUCKING---

-Vanessa already loves little Dakora so much, she's sitting there thinking "I was robbed of my happiness by my own actions. If I had never taken Christian from Natalia, maybe Moon Goddess would have spared my mate and my pup" if she has the power to protect people or punish them doesn't that also inherently imply moon goddess is like personally playing judge jury and executioner. Like it probably isn't intended but "maybe if I hadn't done this moon goddess would have saved us" is just lowkey saying Moon Goddess herself killed Derek as well as Vanessa's baby

-DAKOTA WAKES UP FROM A DREAM AND SMILES "where's your crown, Nanessa?" PUTS A HAND ON HER BELLY "Don't be sad, the pretty lady told me there's a dragon that needs you" BOOK THREE MAYBE???? BOOK THREE WITH A DRAGON??? VANESSA GET YOUR FUCKING BAG GIRL (also this is like the second time a dragon has been brought up, Gwen mentioned in the very beginning of the book she had a human friend fleeing her dragon mate, so the next book is about dragonshifters apparently! Cool! I wonder when it's coming out, I like this author :3)

-Natalia finally finds Vanessa and Dakota while Christian is out, being alright to Vanessa but, doesn't want to take her with them even when Dakota says Vanessa is his friend and he wants her to come home with them. Natalia is so traumatized about what happened with Vanessa coming between her and Christian and her old pack that when Dakota says Vanessa could come visit and meet Daddy, Natalia just snaps NO. She's afraid Vanessa could take Zane too, but Vanessa is different now and doesn't even get angry. Natalia is upset with her, she's obviously saddened but she understands she deserves it and openly acknowledges as such

-Vanessa apologizes for what she did in tears, and even though Natalia is upset, she can see something is very wrong with Vanessa, and asks what Christian meant about a baby, and Vanessa tells her how Christian was cruelly asking if he had killed her baby, and that Derek was her mate and was killed and now Vanessa understands the pain of a broken mate bond. Natalia will help her escape from this cabin and get away from Christian, but she doesn't forgive Vanessa and says she won't let her back in her life. She wishes her sister a long happy life but she doesn't want to be in it (this hits me especially hard given my own sibling relationship. I understand loving someone but being too hurt by them to want to keep them around)

-when Natalia had finally started speaking to stupid Jordan again when he found her after leaving the pack, she kind of just heard "christian is coming after you" and imo Jordan was not assertive enough to like actually elaborate on how far down the tubes Christian has gone. Like he's with Natalia with her sort of but mildly brushing him off around a week before he's finally like "ugh this is what I've been trying to tell you, Christian is crazy now and killing pack members and we're gonna overthrow him as alpha" and its like you mean like you didn't make sure to tell her that ASAP? especially after Christian took Dakota? You didn't let her know how crazy Christian was going before she came to physically meet him? Jordan you're the fucking Gamma and she's your former Luna you spineless little idiot bitch????

Like I cannot emphasize enough that they are literally in the middle of rescuing her son, IN THE AREA CHRISTIAN AND THE PACK IS IN, and he waits until they're trying to run away when Vanessa brings up the Alpha Challenege and Natalia makes him spill "yes idiot I've been trying to tell you even his own parents think he's not fit to lead" oh honey, parent, singular, no one knows he killed his own mom yet. Poor Kay. She was always nice to Natalia 🥺

-I totally forgot this actually. The day Natalia was rejected, Jack had actually HIT HER that day? For the first time ever? So when she's hearing Jordan talk about Christian's delusional fantasy about bringing her back and what Jack thinks, she's like "hold up Jack thinks this is only Christian's fault? He hit me and didn't even try to stop Christian!" So yeah these two were always fucking fake

This post is getting long as fuck so I'm ending it here for now because I'm all caught up and they're releasing a new chapter day by day so, maybe I'll check back in like a week? It depends on how juicy things get haha. I just wish it was listed like, how many chapters this story is going to be? I'm super invested don't get me wrong but I kinda want to grasp how long this is gonna be you know?

Just to warn you guys, I literally watched this show almost in one night yesterday so bear with me. And then proceeded to write this. It was supposed to just be some headcanons. And then it turned into drabble and then one shot.

Brraaahhh imagine just being some poor samp having to make ends meet in like one of the recognized most shittiest times. And its the dead of the night, walking home after your shift at the pub that ran later than you would prefer. But hey, money is money.

Everything is quite aside from the inebriated stumbling to their choice of den and the ladies of the night who waited on the curbs for potential customers. Preferably the quick and wasted ones.

Although the lamp wicks were burning bright thanks to the caretakers that serviced them. You being a dumb b*tch just trying to get home decide to pull the white girl move in the horror movie and walk into one of many dark decrepit alleys in London that were spread out like a cobble stone labyrinth.

Only to come across this motherfucker while passing through. Humming the London bridge is Falling Down while hunched over something behind one the local comunial waste bins. Obviously whatever it was had the bizarre-o ivory-haired man distracted enough to not notice your initial presence. If you were a normal self-preservation instinct still intact person you would've ran back the way you came.

Buuut that's too easy sooooo, no.

You—, you decide to play Blue's fuckin Clues and go stroll by the dude to see what he dooooin'.(Kinda like when there's a crash and everyone is like yoo I wanna see. But there's traffic so they slow just a little bit down when passing the crash to see what's up. Cause we all nosey b*tches. Don't lie.)

Didn't even take five steps before this crackhead whipped around to see who was approaching. And in the same short amount of time it took the mustached hetero-chromatic eyed dude to analyze your fluctuating aura of emotions. Meanwhile your ass noticed how this dude was fist deep in this lady's guts playin' doctor with a satchel of equipment at his side. Outfit drenched in the same burgundy colored ooze that flooded from the ripped open abscess in the abdomen of the obviously recently deceased women that was prompted up against the corner where the waste bin met the structure.

Before you could even think of back pedaling out of this situation. The pale haired man had launched himself on you. Quick to restrain you against the gross ass cobblestone wall of the ally way. In the right hand a common barbers knife that'd you find in any supplies shop in london—hovered threateningly above the thin skin of your throat. While the other was kept busy planting you against the wall by the roots of your still pinned up hair.

The desire to allow fear course into your veins was strong as you stared trapped in the heterochromatic pools of mania that belong to the person infront of you. Pools of crimson and glacier keeping you pinned. The former of the two holding almost supernatural glow to it. The gleam of it's light piercing through the veil of fog and darkness like the knife he so carefully wielded.

"What's a young maiden like yourself walking around at this hour in a place like this? And without a chaperon?" The mustached man inquired though obviously not out of interest but, amusement. Maintaining the manic look upon his pale aging features as he peered back into orbs of (y/e).

"It is a blind goose that cometh to a fox's sermon." The older gentleman cooed. Warm breath fan across the skin of your face leaving behind goosebumps in its wake.

The guy was definitely creepy.

Though not keen on being a damsel in destress of any kind. Your ass knew you wanted to survive this counter. And no one from the London yard to the hooker you passed on the corner is gonna help you now.

You had three options:

Scream

Fight

Reason

With a blade at your throat you might as well call yourself Marie Antoinette 2.0, if you chose the first option. Fighting with this dude would definitely be one-sided. From the fact that it took him 2.5 secs to over power you and contain you to a single spot. Yeah that's a no-go. And to be honest you weren't a hundred percent sure if reasoning would work on the psycho in front of you. Based off the fact he's staring at you like a mustached Cheshire Cat with a Mad Hatter's attitude. This is one fucked game of perseverance that you wish hadn't walked into.

Your last resort? You weren't completely sure what yet but one thing for sure; the way this night was looking so far this might be your last time underneath the moonlight. You might as well try something. It's not like you have anything left in your life to lose.

As you steeled your resolve in your mind. Your aura told the middle age man everything he needed to know.

At first glance it was nothing special. Just a cesspool of emotions primarily exhaustion and the normal stress that lays beneath every worrisome thought of the future and tomorrow's problems.

He was just going to rip her up like the predecessors that came before her. However, it was when he pinned her to the putride wall of the alleyway that he saw her true colors.

They shifted like a marvelous rainbow. One moment they were a stressful cobalt. The next a surprised cyan. Than a thoughtful calculative lime green.

However resting a deeper emotion sat next to the core in every flash of color. Remaining vigilant against an invasion from outside forces that threaten to penetrate the brigade that kept them at bay. Was a spec of regretful indigo. There it sat safe guarding the very thing that created its very being. So the same thing wouldn't happen again.

The array of sensitive colors dazzled his senses. The alternating emotions keep his interest peeked and the knife from laying any more pressure on your artery. His receptors in his nerves soaking up the vivid feelings like a dry sponge in the bath water. However unlike the sponge, his body just craved more.

He wanted to see the violet purple. The despair fill her heart. It was his favorite thing.

Swallowing a thick glob of saliva your (y/e) irises began to what you think is nonchalant but, isn't very chalant— scanning your surroundings. Looking for an opportunity to present itself despite the current obvious disadvantages. -cough- knife at your throat -cough- head at risk being slammed -cough-.

The creepy-ass grin from the creepy-ass man in front of you didn't help easing any tension in the little space between you two.

You reasoned (y/e) eyes filled with earnestness and your soul mirroring the same in a vivid courageous orange and a trepidious magenta.

Eyes trained with one another never breaking for a moment. Not even when his hand with the knife pulled away and was swiftly replaced with the left grasping your windpipe.

He hummed amused with your statement. How foolish you were to think ignorance could save you from your sealed fate.

Successfully instilling even further the threat that was to her life tonight. Not the drunktards who came in on a regular. Not the slim shit wages that barely kept her afloat. Not cholera(that one is a joke because of the time period and where they're at).

Pools of (y/e) widen with surprise as they maintained the direct line of eye contact with the killer who has been stalking the streets of White Chapel.

Tears fell from (y/n) sockets. Not out of fear or the tragedy of your death. But rather the hurt of knowing you'll never get the chance to have a family.

I'm sorry this next part is ridiculously darker than the rest of this one shot/drabble. IDK how I went down this path but, just warning the next part includes talks of divorce, implied inf@cide, implied ch!ld murder, mi$carriage, oh and I almost forgot just dap of pedo alert.0

Since the start you never got to have that family. You never knew your parents. They had left you at an orphanage. Lucky for you that they had room to spare. Most became water logged coffins sealing away the babes from undesirable fates.

It wasn't sunshine and rainbows at the orphanage. You had to pull your weight from a very young age. Those who didn't contribute didn't get food, those who resisted got sent away, anyone who didn't listen came back from lectures with welts and concussions. You pick and choose your battles. And you chose them very carefully for the first fifteen years.

Until you felt the need to defend yourself against one of the caretakers who wasn't so noble. You had shed first blood the summer before. And ever since had been on the edge due to prying eyes and wandering hands.

That summer you left the orphanage and headed to London. Hear say from villagers say all the jobs are in the cities now. Thanks to the Industrial revolution offering more opportunities than ever before.

You had gone. Worked at a textile plant for some time until you met your first husband. And became pregnant with your first kid.

....only to lose the fetus three months later due to the stress your body was under. Children take so much. Even before their born. The nutrients get sucked from the marrow and slowly you lost the battle.

Your husband blamed you, and you did too. You tired, tried, and tried. But, they just couldn't be kept.

It wasn't even a two years later that your first husband divorced you.

You always wanted to be able to try again. To have that child to love and hold, to cherish unconditionally like you wished you had been.

Though staring into those mix-matched pools of insanity. In one last attempt to not give into the fear of the impending end. You thought one last time about your dream.

Jack was both pleased and mystified

Instead of the violet purple he saw within most of his victims. He found a light source that resembled the embers that kept the Londoners warm through the ruthless winters. An eradecent hue that blend yellow and pink into what can only be described as a hug to the senses.

Relaxing and comforting. A guiding light to ease one to rest.

"And light is mingled with the gloom, And joy with grief; Divinest compensations come, Through thorns of judgment mercies bloom In sweet relief ".

Slowly hands like steel latches released their grasp from around your neck. Skin already blossoming with bruises in the shape of handprints.

Without the support holding you up your body slid towards the alley way floor to only be scooped up into Jack's arms, as if weighing nothing more than a few sheets of paper.

Too exhausted to fight off Jack's tight embrace between the near death experience and the shift you had worked before ever traversing down this alleyway.

(y/e) drifted shut as you listened to Jack whisper sweet quotes of adoration as he took you away. Going only gods know where.

As the morning sun rose above the thick pea soup fog. Londoners would be too enthralled in the newest victim of the ripper to notice that there was another woman that the ripper had stolen. With no body to be found.

Pandora Hearts Month is an event that celebrates Pandora Hearts. The first three weeks celebrate the three main trios (Golden Trio, Rainsworth Trio, and Tragedy Trio) and the fourth is a bonus week that celebrates any ships/friendships/ot3s fans chose and love. You can create edits, fanart, drabbles, fanfictions, amvs and mms!

Vanitas no Carte Month is a new event that celebrates Vanitas no Carte/The Case Study of Vanitas in all its forms (both manga and anime fans welcome!). Every week will celebrate a different character grouping. You can create edits, fanart, drabbles, fanfictions, amvs and mms!

This blog has been experiencing some technical difficulties—and has for longer, and a greater extent, than I realized. It seems as though a number of people who wanted to participate in Phmonth22 in May/June...never saw the posts about it. This means that we are now doing a redo of Pandora Hearts Month 2022! It includes the same exact prompts as before, allowing people who didn't see it before—and anyone who otherwise didn’t get the chance before—to participate now! It occurs at the same time as The Case Study of Vanitas Month 2022.

It seems as though the Tumblr staff has fixed the problem and that I can host these events on this blog once again. About the Phmonth22 prizes:

Some of you may recall me posting about wanting to add a competition aspect to Phmonth, with the 15th anniversary merch as prizes. I ordered the prizes long ago, however they still have not arrived at my house.

You guys voted to have a raffle decide who gets the prizes, so it will be easy to do the raffle at any time after the Phmonth redo has ended.

Keep in mind that, as per your request, I do intend for there to be multiple prizes, at least one for the artists, and one for the fic writers!

I will revisit the prizes once phmonth22 ends!
