BL Fans continue to confuse me.

Why do you want Violence and Trauma in a Romcom, why do you hate NC Scenes in a Show clearly Rated R. I get it if something gets sprung on you that you don't except but if something is clearly labeled, then you can't hate on it simply because you don't like the Tags YOU WERE WARNED ABOUT.

You can of course hate it, but hating a whole Show because something tragic or sexual happened YOU WERE WARNED ABOUT simply because of that fact is just WEIRD.

On the other Hand, if you watch a Romcom and you expect more than a Romcom than it makes no sense for me to hate it FOR THE FACT IT'S A ROMCOM.

You can hate it for everything else EXCEPT for the Tags it came with!

Jack' s Napier loved 40s old school ganster films. He watched them all them time so much he merited all the dialouge and the end credits too, he had a collection of them on tape.

his wife surprised him for his birthday and got his a Zoot suit 40s styled suit like the gagsters.

when he opened his gift he laugh and shook shied and spectated his wife's love and effort but it didn't feel like him so they tucked it away.

the only time he ever wore it was on that Red Hood heist at ACE chemicals he wad forced into.

(Just giving some backstory on why the joker dresses like that. I know BTAS ran with the style from the 80s batman film but I wish they gave the joker more reasons behind his decisions like his wardrobe and other things he does because everyone has some reason they do what they do.)

Speaking Sonny how do you think he and Gloria would get along🤔

This is a really good question!

If Sonny were in the Bruised Fruit-verse, I think he’d like Gloria to a degree that’s almost problematic? Mostly in that after Kay had the abortion, he’d completely turn on her, even if he did come to consider her family.

Out of all the Corleones, Sonny would be the sibling to enable Michael escalating his relationship with Gloria. For all of Gloria’s faults and the fact that Kay is just objectively a better person than Gloria, the fact that Gloria’s Sicilian-American and doesn’t have a problem with the family business cancels out everything else. She’s one of them, as far as he’s concerned.

Before the events of the fic, Sonny and Gloria would have a playful kind of friendship, he’d probably call her “kid” and they’d joke around a lot. Michael’s his kid brother, even if he is the Don (and he’d totally tell Gloria embarrassing stories about Michael growing up). During Bruised Fruit, it’d become clear that for all of the lightheartedness, she’s still a woman in this hyper-masculine culture. Sonny sure as hell isn’t going to intervene on her behalf just because Gloria doesn’t want to be a housewife.
