For my sweet, silly Durge Ofelia!

Personality: For the pros, I'd describe Ofelia as silly (she makes a lot of stupid jokes that none of the others get because well... she's from Earth), fiercely loyal, compassionate, understanding, and full of love she's had no where to direct for a very long time. For the cons, I'd say they're impulsivity, rashness, hot-headedness, avoidance, and... the jokes. They can be a blessing and a curse lol. She's the kind of person to make you a steaming cup of something to comfort you, and if she finds out you've been hurt it's warpath right out of the gate- unwavering loyalty.

Aesthetic: I've shared many a moodboard of her before, and I'll share my favorite below! The vibe i have for her is very romantic goth- dark red and midnight blue are her favorite colors, and she loves to incorporate them into her outfits (thought she hasn't really had a chance to do that in her journey, yet). Her preference of music is something haunting and rough (her favorite band is Type O Negative) or soft (Siouxsie and the Banshees, Deftones, Joy Division). She loves candle light, reading, nighttime, etc. If you met her on earth, she'd look extremely unapproachable, but she'd smile at you immediately if you were any type of kind.

Favorite Thing About Them: The things I love most about her are her capacity for empathy, her cute face, her singing voice (I've used an example of Karen Cowley/Krea in Hozier's "In a Week" for instance), and her dark hair.

Fun Fact About Your OC or Their Creation: Ahh! So, her name is Ofelia as a nod to the movie Pan's Labyrinth, but her last name- Montez- is a nod to Lola Montez, the stage name of Eliza Gilbert. Her story is super interesting and sad, but her dancing always really stuck with me. The name is the title of one of my favorite Volbeat songs, and I suggest it simply because listening to it is what gave me the inspiration for Ofelia's last name!

#instawrimochallenge number 24: "Soundtrack." . Just like dreams, music plays a huge role in my fiction. I love symbolic band names, album titles, cover art, and especially lyrics!
