Akito:

You and Akito had been going out for a couple of months, and having him over to your house wasn't new. What was new, however, was him finding an old photobook

"Huh...What's this?" He waves the photobook haphazardly in the air, and your eyes go wide as you quickly try to grab it from him, "Be careful-"

He can tell that you're trying to hide something, so while he holds you off, he looks through the photobook. And he almost can't believe his eyes

It's full of photos of you, you as a cute little toddler that's all bubbly smiles at the camera; the complete opposite of you now. It makes his chest feel warm, in a way

He looks up at you with a grin of mischief, pointing at a photo of you that makes you flush with embarrassment. He laughs, wrapping his arm around you as he compares the photo to you

"Look at how cute you are, so bubbly too...What happened, huh?" He's nothing but teases and smiles <3

Mizuki:

Mizuki always has a tendency of looking through things they shouldn't, and that doesn't change when you date them. So, while we were off doing who knows what, they were looking around

"Well well, what's this?" They held up a photobook found from under your bed, glancing towards the doorway to make sure you weren't looking before they opened it up

They can barely hold in the absolute squeal that comes out when they see the contents of the photobook, their eyes sparkling as their hands rest over their mouth

There were so many photos of baby you, looking like the happiest thing alive. It makes them lose their mind, how is it possible for you to be so cute?

They're quick to find you, hugging you from behind and laughing as they shrug off your flustered exclamations of them finding the photobook, simply showing you their favorite photos

"Just look how absolutely adorable you are!! How are you so cute??" They can't even tease you, they're just gushing <3

Kanade:

It takes a lot to drag your girlfriend, Kanade, out of her home, so she definitely discovers your photobook on accident. She was sitting on the couch, when her foot bumped against something

"Huh...?" She looks down, fingers brushing over the photobook before she pulls it out, looking at it curiously. You glance over at the sound, letting out a laugh. "Ah, my baby photos..."

After getting your permission, she takes a peek through the photobook, her eyes widening slightly at the contents. Her fingers skim over the photos with awe

There are so many photos of you as a baby, and you look so bubbly and happy. A part of her can't help but hope that one day, she can bring that smile back to your face

You look a bit embarrassed beside her, so she's quick to rest her head on your shoulder. She smiles, looking down at the photos before looking back up at you

"You were a really adorable kid..." Her compliments are soft and a bit shy, but you know she means it from the bottom of her heart <3

Haruka:

Haruka is the other person who wouldn't purposefully try to snoop around and find the photobook. You two were sitting and talking in your room when she saw it in the corner of her eye

"I've never seen that before..." She comments curiously, and you look over your shoulder, an embarrassed look slipping over your face, "Oh, it's just a photobook from when I was younger..."

She's definitely intrigued after you say that, and she asks if she can see. After a bit of hesitance, you hand it over, and she opens the photobook carefully

Her eyes immediately widen, a soft smile slipping onto her lips as she takes in all of your baby photos, laughing softly at how cute you looked

She brings you into a hug, keeping the photobook across your laps as she kissed your cheek, gently squeezing you as she complimented every single photo of you

"You are so adorable, just look at that grin!" Her words absolutely shine with the adoration she feels for you <3

Chifuyu’s birthday was coming and for the longest time, you had no idea what to get him. He always claimed he didn’t need anything, that being yours and spending time with you was a gift enough. However, your love language is gift giving and you were determined to find the perfect present for your hard-to-shop-for boyfriend. You just needed to trust your skills, which was easier said than done.

That’s when it struck you; literally.

Chifuyu was out with the rest of the gang and you offered to cat-sit for him. It wasn’t a problem, as Peke J loved you almost as much as he loved Chifuyu. As you were playing with the adorable kitty, he struck the most adorable pose you have ever seen in your entire life. You were reaching for your phone to take a picture to send to your boyfriend when you paused. What better present could you give him for his birthday than three hundred and sixty five days of guaranteed adorable photos of his beloved Peke J? It was an absolutely genius plan!

As soon as it entered your head, you got to work.

First, you went through your camera roll of old photos of Peke J to use for special events and the occasional Throwback Thursday. When that was done and you had a good start on the collection of photos, you scooped up the sweet cat and started taking staged pictures of him that looked like candid shots. Chifuyu would never know that these pictures were pre-planned in the first place.

At first, Peke J was a willing participant. He flashed the cutest eye and always angled his head just right to get the best shot. But after the first thirty or so pictures you decided to keep, he started to get grumpy. You couldn’t blame him, so you called it a night and fed him lots of yummy treats to quell his temper. He warmed up to that idea and took full advantage of your generosity until Chifuyu returned from his night out. He was none the wiser about your present idea and thanked you for cat-sitting.

In the week leading up to his birthday and subsequent party, you could tell he was getting suspicious of you. He was especially suspicious when you asked to borrow his cat on more than one occasion. You knew it sounded weird when you asked to spend time with Peke J instead of him. When you weren’t taking photos of the rambunctious cat, you were editing all of the photos together in a half-calendar, half-photobook. Everything had to be perfect, from the pictures, to the colors, to the layout of each page. You were not going to mess this up!

Finally, after eight days of preparations, and just three hours before Chifuyu’s party, you were putting the final touches on the wrapping that would hold your present. The package was immaculately wrapped and you used a fluffy bow to tie it all together.

With pride filling your chest, you made your way to Chifuyu’s apartment. His birthday party was a simple, intimate affair. You expected nothing less, as he was never one for big flashy parties. Upon your arrival, you were pulled into the fray. You mingled and joked with the rest of his gang of friends, and even gave Peke J some scratches for good luck.

As he opens his presents, you insist he wait until everyone leaves to open yours. Of course, this opens the door to the idea you bought skimpy lingerie just for him. You neither confirm, nor deny it, which makes Chifuyu blush like crazy.

When the party begins to wind down and everyone leaves, you take the last bottle of wine that’s half-finished and pick up your present. Taking a deep breath to calm your nerves, you sit next to Chifuyu on his couch.

“This is for you.”

He looks at it for a split-second before glancing back at you. “It’s not really lingerie is it?”

You roll your eyes. “No. It’s not. The boys were benign stupid. Just open it already!”

When he did, his jaw dropped to the floor. On the cover was his favorite photo of the three of you. “Is this…?”

You nod and scoot closer. “It’s both a calendar and a photo album. Each picture has a little description too. I made it all by myself. I hope you like it.”

“Like it?” Gently setting the book to the side, he pulled you into a tight embrace. “I don’t know how I can ever thank you.”

“Just being yours is enough.” You toss one of his usual lines back at him.

He laughs and the two of you spend the next couple hours drinking and flipping through the photos. He compliments Peke J on his fine modeling skills and you swear you saw the cat puff up with pride at his words.

Then Chifuyu grabs a pen and marks the date in between your birthdays and you frown.

“What’s that for?”

“You’ll just have to wait and see.” He winks.

When that day came, he paid you back for the book tenfold, in the form of a luxury vacation and a little velvet box. Of course you said yes.

Army's logic (or lack thereof) truly impresses me sometimes. They're really trying to use what Jin said as a gotcha moment against solos, saying ''Ha, ha! See? The members choose their own release time". And I'm like, that actually make it worse. They do realize that makes it worse, right? That means Yoongi CHOOSE to interrupt the release of Jimin's first ever album with not only his own (third!) album, but with a tour as well. That he knows it's bad manners to do that, so much so that he decided to not even announce his enlistment because of Taehyung's album. That knows all that and still decided to do what he did. And to make 'jokes' about ending Jimin's promotion in that one interview on top of that.

And it's not just Jimin and Yoongi. It means Taehyung also decided to release a song he could have released any other time of year right before J-hope's album. And to release that photobook during Jimin's release too.

The members are all aware that it's rude to release when another member is already releasing, yet they keep doing it. And army's somehow think that shows how nice and considerate they all are. Like, what kinda logic is that?

This actually reminds me of a similar situation. The whole 'the members choose their own lines' thing. I don't know if that's just me, but that always made things look worse to me. Cause if they really do choose who gets how many lines, what does that tell you about their opinions on members like Jin or J-Hope? That the group consistently, song after song and album after album, decided that those two should barely get any lines while JK gets way more than anyone else. Doesn't that say that they think Jin and J-Hope are less suited for music than JK is? That they would rather keep giving JK an excessive amount of lines before they even consider giving those two a little bit more.

And I'm not even being a 'crazy solo' right now. I don't particularly care for Jin and J-Hope, and with some exceptions (My Universe when I catch you), Jimin generally gets a good amount of lines, so I don't have to complain about this, but I just can't help noticing it.

And that goes along with my opinion that BTS isn't quite as equal of a group as armys like to think they are. Or at least not in every way. Because, sure, when you buy a BTS album, things like the photobook are gonna be pretty equal, there'll probably be the same amount of individual pictures for each member. But when you actually listen to the CD, the music itself (you know, the most important part), you'll notice things aren't quite so equal anymore.

And I also think that this lack of equality contributes to the difference in popularity the members have. Is not the only reason, but it sure doesn't help. Because some members spent 80% of their carrers in the back of a dance formation with their mouths shut, and people are surprise they're not as popular as the guy that keeps getting shoved in everybody's faces?

So instead of solely blaming each other for hyungline being less popular, army's should maybe look at the group and company first and realize that a lot of fans's opinions and behaviors are a direct result of their choices on how to present the group to the public. And we're seeing that even more blatantly now.

You're right. Also I'm confused with how they choose to push this narrative now because we all know they have a say on their release dates. Yoongi practically admitted it before hence why we not only call out hybe too but talk about how insensitive the members are. We literally only push the blame on hybe because it's still their job to schedule their activities.
