I forgot to share but a friend of mine gave me Slappy's character sheet!
I had it for a while but I wasn't sure if I was allowed to share it around, they said it was fine so I'm sharing here (and also I shared it with the author of The Animated Peter Lorre so if you've seen this before then that's why)
I was so happy that I actually cried <3 For years I said I would sell my organs for Slappy's character sheet and now I have it! I printed it out immediately and framed it above my desk so I could always look at it <3 (I also keep other copies scattered throughout) My bestie @froskii printed it out and ate the paper live on discord. I did blood rituals on it too! Overall we had a great time and I still have all of my organs in tact too!💞

oh i'm always glad to. i think we all owe a lot of gratitude to the artists working on deadlines around these teams and capturing special moments, and i feel bad enough i'm borderline stealing their photos to share honestly 😭😭😭😭 but we owe them so much. in general, i think people should be crediting/referring both for the gratitude but ALSO bc it makes things easier to find later? idk, it kinda drives me nuts how people don't lol

My favorite genre of fan media is when a creator has an obvious favorite and invests all their time and energy into them to the point you can watch their improvment as an artist/writer through media based on that character alone.
There's a level of love to that I find wonderful, like clearly this character hit you the way nothing ever has. Whether you're a friend or a stranger, whether I like the character or not, it will always be a joy to see you happy.

just remembered that i can never see and remember all of the art in the world. there's too much of it. there's too much to even glimpse a fraction of it, let alone linger on it. study it. memorize it. 5 years ago i saw something beautiful in a museum and by now i've already forgotten it. i'm going to be sick.
#this is why i need to be an art historian so badly i think. i need to know everything ever made. i need to know it front and back#but even then. god. i could spend the rest of my life in galleries and museums and archives. and there's still art somewhere out there#that would completely rock my world. and i'll never even know it existed.#and then! the issue with being exposed to so much art. is the fact that i can't give each peice the care and attention it deserves#i can comment and like and bookmark and check in on the folders of art ive saved over the past several years#but it'll always deserve more. and there will always be some amount of art i skip past and forget about even though i really liked it#its devistating. to have so much access to everything but never be able to properly appreciate it#banging my head against the wall
