hate reading books in multiple sittings because if the characters are in turmoil i will be in turmoil until i reach the resolution

#this even applies to rereads. and it doesnt apply to podcasts or tv shows #like im so suddenly melencholy and im like. why. and the answer is because the characters in the book im rereading are sad #and i cant fix it in any way other than getting through the next 200 pages
