Idk I have this sonadow idea and I just wanted to yap about it in case I forget lol

Basically Sonic movie universe is the universe in the middle of resetting/ rebooting itself. An Eggman scheme going wrong or an outside force ended up causing the Heat death of the Universe or something similar to happen pre maturely. Idk how or if it's even possible for a universe to form after this event but I said yes for the sake of the idea. The universe restarts itself.

At some point after the events of Sonic movie 3 but not yet meeting Amy or finding Shadow, Sonic gets brain blasted of all his memory from his first life and is pretty much not having a good time. He sees new and familiar faces but at the same time they are so different. He has parents when he was surviving on his own when he was abandoned. His baby brother isn't the little fox kit he found and raised all by himself. And Shadow isn't here with him.

All these memories are mixing with his current ones is pretty much messing him up. People he knew felt like strangers yet not. People who were once in his life isn't if just don't exist. Or are dead .

Then before he could do something he might regret, Shadow shows up. He is just as broken and frantic as he was because he remembers too. But despite barely keeping it together himself, he needed to find Sonic.

So yea that's my idea ig. Hope you guys like my word vomit lol

i think theres this idea in the general public that the "best" fanfic gets turned into real books like 50 shades of grey. but the truth is that the best fanfic can never be published as an actual book because its intricately woven into the canon material so its inseparable even if you change the names
