i think people give elise too much shit for her little outburst at the end of sonic 06 because if i was running a country at 17 and had been repressing my emotions for 10 years straight and one day i got kidnapped like 500 times and ended up befriending the guy who rescued me and while spending time with him i felt like i really got to be myself and have fun for the first time in forever and formed a really meaningful relationship with him only for some weird demon rat thing to show up and kill him right in front of me just to make me cry so the destructive fire god that my dad sealed inside my body would be unleashed and then in order to save the world i had to reset the timeline and forget we ever met i would have become the joker

Ok the last week or so my bodys been doing a quirky new thing where i wake up randomly in the middle of the night on my back (i sleep on my side always) and only half like. Aware of my surroundings And i lay there completely still while my brain concocts a little social-anxiety-fueled dream for me where Something Bad And Upsetting Is Happening but its not evil monsters or anything its just like. Well thats the other thing i dont remember specifically what it IS but its more like an awake-style “what if Something Bad Happened” anxiety loop than a nightmare really? like i could come up with it awake. But im also aware that im asleep and i Think i shake myself out of it but then im back in the dream again. and also i cant actually move to like. Fr wake myself up. So basically like a really lame version of sleep paralysis? more observation needed 🗒️✍️👨‍⚕️ (<- thats me taking notes)

some with Ambiguous Disorder find that many symptoms of the horrorce (attachment issues, emotional regulation issues, high anxiety and rejection sensitivity, difficulty motivating, struggling with pressure, periods of high & then low sense of self, hypervigilance, moral scrupulosity etc) can also be explained by cptsd so i might rec looking into it :') obligatory note here that i am not armchair diagnosing, just offering smth that was useful for me to think abt!! and second obligatory note that any diagnosis/label is a new frame of reference or lens to look at the same stuff thru, not some end-all-be-all statement of fact or judgement :] best of luck u have got this <3
