"This was a great idea, Rodea. Since Dr. Star line took over my lab in my dimension, I can use the lab here for resources and materials..."

Rodea looks down, clearly saddened.

"...I'm really sorry about your Mr. Tinker, Rodea..."

"It's fine... He died saving this dimension... He was a hero...

"Anyway, we better continue bringing resources to SciLab."

With the help of Emerl, Gamma, and Terios, Mr. Tinker and Rodea began moving the materials and resources to Mr. Tinker's lab. In the middle of it, they heard something in the sky.

"UNIDENTIFIED FLYING FORTRESS DETECTED."

"Hey! It's Vanilla's Flying Bakery!"

"Did you say 'Vanilla's Flying Bakery?!'"

Up in the flying house, Vanilla's voice could be heard on the intercom.

"Greetings, everyone! We have a new, special treat for you today. My daughter made strawberry and cream pie. I hope you enjoy it!"

"Strawberry and cream pie? That sounds awesome... Really wish I could eat so I can try some."

"I knew Cream and her mother were great cooks, but I never imagined they'd have a flying fortress to sell their baked goods."

"Funny enough, the Mr. Tinker of this dimension built it for them... And Vanilla doesn't actually sell them. She goes around looking for poor and homeless people who could use a meal..."

"That sounds like Cream and Vanilla, alright. Those two are like purity incarnate."

"INTENTIONS REGISTERED AS GOOD. HOWEVER, ERROR IN LOGIC DETECTED. THEIR BUSINESS CAN'T CONTINUE IF THEY RUN OUT OF RESOURCES."

"You have a point there, Gamma. Rodea, is anyone funding their flying bakery?"

"Oh, gosh... You're right... The Mr. Tinker of my dimension was originally funding them, as well as making sure to give the flying fortress a check up every so often... But with him gone..."

"That shouldn't be a problem! We could have Welch fund them. She loves helping people, and she has plenty of resources to spare. Plus, with her help, Cream and Vanilla can help people in need both here AND the rest of the Multiverse. It's a win-win!"

"Terios, my boy, that's an ingenious idea! You make your father so proud!"

"This also means we'll have Cream and Vanilla as part of the crew, too!"

And so, Rodea flew up to the flying bakery to explain the plan to them. Both grateful to him, as well as happy to see Rodea again after so long, the Rabbit residence accepted the offer and they met up with Welch, who was also on board with the idea. And soon enough...

"There! All done! Everything is set, so you can continue giving out food to the poor all across the Multiverse with no issue! I'll gladly provide any resources you need, Mr. Tinker and the other scientist will give your flying bakery maintenance whenever needed, and Emerl here will serve as bodyguard whenever you go out so you'll stay safe out there! Plus, my employees in the food department will provide extra help for you whenever you need it."

"Thank you so much, Miss Vineyard! We really appreciate it!"

"My pleasure! Glad to have you as part of the team!"

Always suggested: bb.objects ON, it makes placing items much easier. For further placement tweaking, check out the TOOL mod.

LAMPS: My note for now on all lamps is that they need the brightness turned down in game for them to look normal. I have an issue in Blender with the vertex paintbrush just not working, it paints/refuses to paint wherever it wants no matter what I try. It's something I'm always looking for the answer to, and any other creator who likes any of the lamps is welcome to add vertex paint to them. I would update the file and add a credit to said creator.  BEDS: Most beds are made with the cot as the base (or other very simple bed object), it's difficult to find something to "work" with the ACNH mesh. I haven't yet 100% hashed out how to make them *perfectly* functional in TS4, but the sims will sleep on top of them.

happy monday! here is something that has been in my wip folder for several weeks now. 😅 this set includes 21 items, mostly deco with a few shelves and a sink. the shelves all have 6 slots, the clothing hanging on the assembly shelf works best in the middle slot. the towels in the storage closet however, work best on the outer slots. the sink has a dirty state, it’s not the best but it’s better than nothing lol. the deco tiles are placed more easily with cheats. hmm, that should be all. as always, please lmk if there’s any issues. enjoy!~ ʕ✿˵·ᴥ·ʔ

the theatrics end now. 5:30 pm, you open the door to your own humble abode, and the curtain falls as you step inside and lock the door behind you. the past week was not easy at all, and certainly not today either. a flurry of emotions overwhelm you and you simply fall to the floor and sob. the whole situation had you feeling far too embarrassed to let you live your life normally, and so you confined yourself to the walls of your house for the next two days.

day one had you slowly coming to terms with your realisation, and decided you couldn’t face kinich in your current state. he even knocked on the door! and you didn’t respond, so then he shouted out in his pretty voice, hoping it’d reach your ears wherever you were in the house. “_____? are you in there?” you freeze up in your bed, and start gathering the resolve to open the door. “_____?”

and kinich is surprised to look at you in all your glory, red and coughing fits. “are you... okay? i just found this on your doorstep, by the way.” he holds up an envelope with two bright red chrysanthemums that paled in comparison to your face. “i— i think i must’ve gotten a fever, let me— let me take that.” you say and take the items from his hands.

“oh, i was going to leave on an important commission and i wanted to let you know. it will take me at least a week to get back.” kinich says, his expression as deadpan as ever. “but i could stay back and help if you need me to.”

“NO!— no— you don’t have to, i will be fine, i think. your commission is more important than me.” on a normal day, you’d have have said yes in a heartbeat but as we’ve established earlier, you wouldn’t be able to stay bundled up at home, with kinich of all people! for a whole day! and not breakdown!

“are you sure about that?” he asks quizzically and you nod as you fake another cough. “i will be alright, i just need to get some rest. take care out there!” and truly, you were worried for his safety too. “it would be a pity if i lost my fake boyfriend to some ruin.” you jest and laugh. kinich hesitates for a moment, waves you a goodbye and turns around, and you watch as his figure fades into the distance before finally closing the door and slumping onto the floor.

you sigh in relief, but the relief is short-lived when you open the envelope and look at the letter. it was unaddressed, but a quick glance through it tells you all you need to know about the sender. ‘are you and kinich really together? i sure hope you know it looks very fake, and that i don’t buy a single act of yours! does he know that chrysanthemums are your favourite flowers? really, what does he even know about you that i do not?’

the words make your spine recoil and you almost feel paralysed with fear. he might have been right outside, watching kinich bid you a goodbye. and suddenly, the thought of kinich leaving for a week makes you weak in the knees. you know you probably won’t be able to step outside your house for this week, lest you get followed around again.

your spiral is interrupted by two knocks on the door, and the fear feels very real. you rush to the window as quietly as you can, and relief floods you once more when you see two familiar faces at the door.

This is one of my favourite details from Pokemon Gen V:

On the left, Ghetsis' Hydreigon from Black and White.

In the middle, Ghetsis' Hydreigon from Black 2 and White 2.

On the right, Iris' Hydreigon from Black 2 and White 2.

(Specifically, that's the Challenge Mode one- in Easy and Normal mode, it knows Charge Beam and doesn't have the Wise Glasses, and in the rematches it has this set and the only difference between Easy/Normal and Challenge mode is the levels and whether it has the Wise Glasses or not)

Ghetsis' Hydreigon in the first game is a Special Attacker, at Lv.54. We also know it has a Speed-raising nature, in case it wasn't scary enough already. Most likely Timid. It has pretty much perfect coverage.

And then, his Hydreigon in the second game is... different. It's a lower level, weighing in at Lv.52 (though it does go up to Lv.56 in Challenge Mode, for what it's worth), and it's now a Physical Attacker. It's carrying a Life Orb, so it damages itself every time it attacks in exchange for higher power, and whether Ghetsis has actively given it this item on purpose, or the item isn't canonically there and it's just meant to simulate Hydreigon having a Bad Time, it nonetheless sends a message. Its moves are the powerful but very inaccurate Dragon Rush, the fairly strong but also inaccurate Rock Slide, Crunch (which isn't really relevant here), and Frustration, the move that gets more powerful the more the user hates its trainer. It all adds up to create the image of a Pokemon that attacks in a frenzy, frequently missing its moves and harming itself when they do connect, and loathing its trainer so much that it can channel that into a 102-power move.

And then, after you finally beat Ghetsis and he goes catatonic after being twice humbled by a teenager with a hat, and you make your way up Victory Road, and beat the Elite Four, you meet Iris. And the first thing she sends out is a Hydreigon with the exact same moveset as Ghetsis' one from the first game (if you're playing Challenge Mode or rematching her).

We know that Ghetsis was arrested at the end of Black and White's main story, and he only escaped because the Shadow Triad came to break him out. And Alder and Cheren would've had to be pretty dense to let him keep his Poke Balls on him. So I think it's highly likely that Ghetsis lost his original Hydreigon at the end of the first game, and it was given to Iris to take care of. Ghetsis got a new one between games and this one just fucking hates his guts. He treats it badly, and it hates him in return.

Hopefully this one will be looked after properly now that Ghetsis is completely nuts and unresponsive.

Hello! I've been reading your meta and it's been great. I also haven't been watching critical role since campaign 3 started, but I watched Downfall anyway because I loved Calamity. I tried watching both this week's episode and it was great, but I didn't understand anything and I tried watching the first episodes but they are kind of super slow. So I wanted to ask if you knew where the plot started picking up? When do they start going to the moon and meeting gods?

This is a complicated question because "when did the plot start picking up", "when did they start going to the moon", and "what do I need to know to follow the current plot" are three separate questions and the first is like "the plot has been kind of a weird and halting beast this campaign in general and much discussion has been given to it and it's highly subjective." I'll also note: they haven't met gods. Several have communed with gods, and Dorian specifically was on his own adventure and several of his companions were divine champions, but right now only Braius, who is brand new to the party (literally - showed up immediately before Downfall) is affiliated with a god.

The early episodes are slow; Jrusar was fun enough but like many long-form D&D games they are figuring it out. However, the moon plot has been woven in from quite early in the campaign so there are relevant items throughout, and also we are on episode 102 and I don't know how much time you want to spend on catching up.

They actually go to the moon starting with episode 81, and there are no episodes I'd tell you to outright skip from there (though you can if you want). However, there is a lot of crucial moon-related information seeded through earlier episodes (as early as like, 12) because ultimately this is The Moon Plot Campaign; basically everything is in its service. Episodes 43, 45, and 50-51 are extremely relevant moon lore episodes (50-51 is when it really breaks bad re the moon even though they don't go there for 30 more episodes). I'd say around 39 is when the plot gets like...okay, and then 81 when when it gets consistently good, though there are some good stretches within 39-81.

I would say in the interest of time, read a bunch of recaps, and if it sounds interesting enough try watching, rinse and repeat, and then the moon stuff starting in 81 might be manageable for a binge but if not keep reading recaps.
