UPDATE (Critical/Recommended): 3-24-2025 Fixed a GUID conflict between one of Misty-Fluff's 3t2 Nightlife Diag Window and my TEXTILE Repository Column. It doesn't have any recolors currently, so this won't break anything. Download the fixed column by itself (HERE) or re-download the set from the original post. Replace the original. Sorry for the inconvenience - again, this won't break anything since that item doesn't have any recolors.

These columns are repositories for frequently used textures, designed to work alongside BBNiche1Master from Nooks & Niches (BuggyBooz, 2012). For creators, they can be used to recolor objects via the repository method. This minimizes the number of recolor files needed overall, provides an easy way to test textures/UV mapping, and promotes texture-matching across more objects in-game.

DETAILS Requires All EPs/SPs.

BBNiche1Master is included for those who don’t already have it, and your existing recolors will still work. You’ll need this pack for many (but not all) downloads on this site. Additional textures will be available here under the #ts2recolors and #co2recolors tags.

Add-ons to JRW's stair wall fix

I love and use these wall fixes often

But for the household I'm playing at the moment, I wanted it reversed. Could not find it anywhere, so I made it myself.

I cannot believe, that up to nobody has done this, even with all those open underneath stairs we have now. These fixes will cut the lower part of the wall away.

In order for these to work properly, you will have to download the original meshes, as the 4-tile is the master (comes with a few recolours too).

Empty Default Folder - Organize your defaults!

its pretty simple, but every thing has subfolders and should be pretty easy to get familiar with or edit to your liking!

Here are some of the subfolders that is included in there, the clothes, hairs, build mode, and buy mode categories have custom sub folders with the object you want to replace's original name. So you shouldnt have to worry about duplicate defaults anymore!

50+ Sub-Hobby Traits (Sims 2)

There are 10 hobbies (cuisine, film & literature, tinkering, sports, music and dance, fitness, arts & crafts, science, games, and nature) and 18 interest categories (sci-fi, culture, environment, paranormal, health, fashion, politics, sports, school, animals, toys, money, entertainment, work, crime, food, travel, and weather).  Here are 50+ trait tokens featuring various sub-hobbies – these are meant to compliment the original hobby categories and let players assign specific hobby-related interests to their sims. The Sub-Hobby Project comes from the collective brainstorming of @grilledcheese-aspiration, @slyndseysims @gayars and @anachronisims. A recolour mashup of the 3t2 keyboard

I actually did this a few years back and always meant to share.

This Sims 3 piano was converted twice to Sims 2. I downloaded the version by Nysha (whiterider) on MTS in 2014. Then in 2019 I went hunting for recolours and by chance came across recolours by Luasims done for a piano, that looked exactely the same as the one I had. But the one she used had been done by Amovitam.

Differences:

The one by Nysha has 2 subsets plus shadows

The one by Amovitam has only 1 subset and no shadows

Checking the textures of both models, they looked very much the same. So I went ahead and ripped the textures from Luasims recolours and put them onto Nysha's version.

All credits go to Nysha (don't forget to pick up the mesh here) and Luasims for their work. The only thing I did, was play around with SimPe a bit.

CHEAP DATE Simlish Valentine Cards

You get two cards: sweet and salty. Both come in simlish, and only simlish. The sweet card reads “I love you” on the front, the salty one reads “You suck” on the front, and “Get bent. Never Yours, Sim.” on the inside. Click here for the textures / swatches. The mesh by Cat3cm is included, thanks to @moocha-muses's original post (with even more fun recolors) because I spent like half an hour looking for a regular greeting card mesh that wasn’t associated with the postal system mod.
