she honestly represents the worst of the “deconstructing” christianity people. they think because they have religious trauma from explicitly christian religion, all religion is bad and you’re allow to disrespect or appropriate any of them you want, and none of them unpack the inherent antisemitism in that religion. whether you mean to or not, 9/10 you’re going to be perpetuating antisemitism as a christian in one way or another just because that’s how they set up their beliefs and practices.

they try to unpack the racism and the homophobia but never the antisemitism - because judaism is a religion and now they hate religion bc ~trauma~ so they don’t have to. or they just view judaism as worse because it’s a precursor to christianity and represents everything they hate about christianity bc of the Old Testament, which WE know was stolen and bastardized and used against us but who cares. bc the only ‘bad’ god is the ‘Old Testament god’. hence unpacking the antisemitism.
