I find the snippet Jay showed us very, very interesting. Eurylochus went from, "Let's just cut our losses and run" in the Circe saga to "You miss your wife so bad you'd sacrifice your own crew." I wanna see this. I wanna see where Eurylochus's character development goes.

(And then Odysseus replies with, "You would have done the same", likely referencing to what he said in the Circe saga.)

Now, I have been told by numerous people that Odysseus sacrificed some of his crew to escape Scylla (which, yikes, and also may be the actual event refered to in No Longer You, because it fits so well. Thanks guys!)

Seems to me the Eurylochus from the Circe saga would have understood Odysseus sacrificing a few men for the greater good so that they can get home, but the Eurylochus in the next saga doesn't seem to agree. In fact, he condemns him for it in the Mutiny snippet.

Hey, wouldn't it be funny, if, while Odysseus is having his downward spiral into ruthlessness, Eurylochus had his own rollercoaster of a journey from distrusting the Captain's decisions after Polyphemus to actually trusting him again? Wouldn't that be funny?

It's implied Eurylochus had something to do with the bag of storm being opened, whether he did it himself or just never stopped the crew, Eurylochus's own mistrust of Odysseus, likely, led to it being opened, and so many people killed. Do you think he thinks about it? Does it eat him up inside? And when he advocated to leave the men-to-pigs behind and escape Circe while they still can, did Odysseus's determination to get them back, that he'd do anything to get Eurylochus back if it were him, slap him in the face, too? That was how much Odysseus cared for him, and yet Eurylochus had thrown that love at his face when the crew opened the bag of storms. And the thing was, Odysseus succeeded! He got the crew back (Mostly. Elpenor wtf were you doing up there), and it was by opening himself up to her! Wouldn't it be so funny if, in the end, it had been Eurylochus who picked up Polites's philosophy??

Dusted it off from where he had dropped it in grief. Held it up to the light where he could see the fractures, the flaws, but also the warm soft glow of it, too. He may not be able to trust the world to be kind, but he can trust Odysseus. And wasn't that what Polites had wanted in the end? Trust in each other. Lead from the heart. Whatever they face, they'll survive it together.

Wouldn't that be so, so funny?

Boy, I sure do hope Odysseus won't do anything that would irrepairably break that newly grown trust :))))))

A new ref for Lemmy, and an official design and introduction of Limmy in This Universe Has Lemons In It! Limmy was created by the Guardian of the Lemonverse (any pronouns) as an attempt to stop Lemmy from what they are doing, which is creating portals to travel through various universes and dimensions to have fun. Not only is that a risk for the balance of the universe, but GotL just dislikes this kid having fun and wants to see them stopped.

Not wanting to do it in it's own hands, it created Limmy, an angel dog meant to be an direct opposite to Lemmy. Limmy, however, doesn't do much to stop Lemmy, other than following them and bickering. Their relationship is very Tom and Jerry rivalry-esk.

Fun fact, Limmy was originally going to be based on limes (Lime Angel), but I kept that concept for GotL - and made them more angel-like instead.

trying to assign instruments to gerudo characters for thralls' soundtrack. Nabooru is getting the sitar so far, as I think she's good at representing the gerudo side that's closer to the Wild Era in terms of long-term vision for gerudo prosperity, not to mention that it works great for a more laid-back character; though Iftaah could also get that aspect, even though her perspective is a little bit more desperate and a little less actually strategizing about diplomacy and commerce in the way that Nabooru's is... not sure I have nailed down the perfect instrument for her yet though? Maybe a duduk, for its plaintive quality and capacity for softness? But I don't know, I feel like there could be something better out there. Saeruk and flamenco guitar seem pretty great fit for the versatility of the instrument, both harsh and defiant, playful at times, but also extremely sad if needs be, and the fact that she represents more the "older" kind of gerudo works well with more hispanic/romany inspirations. And then there's Aveil, who I feel represent the best the connection of the gerudos to their land, and I'd love an instrument that really represents that. Still looking for that one.

There's a bunch of fun things for Ganondorf that can be done, but I think he'll get... bigger instruments, in general. And church organs are quite versatile too it turns out. :) I like the marimba from his first phase boss battle, but it's a little too... I don't know, I feel like it lacks the roundness and depth and imposing quality that we could get with other picks. But Ganondorf so far has about *eight billion* leitmotifs going on with what I have selected for him (him and Ganon's, as they are... not exactly separate entities in the story, but sort of, it's kind of weird), so it might be more a case of actual melody rather than instruments, or maybe on top of instruments that swap in and out depending on what we want to invoke...

Sorry, rambling, but I would really love to compensate for my lack of voice actors with a pretty meaningful stab at the soundtrack. I feel like I kind of have to honestly. ;;

Special note : this is the first time that I'm making this kind of video. I've planned to do more in the future so please, give me your opinion/advices if you'd want to see more similar videos. I think I'm just going to use it for Melodia but I'm thinking about adding more videos into DH3 as well. I recorded my sims voices but you can totally hear my computer roar also !

Some fun facts : The midsommar poster between Leïla and Hiro means something if you have seen the movie .... Also, when Leïla mentionnes Destiny, I recorded my own voice to make her say her name but it sounded ridiculous so I kept the "Buffy" version but kept my lyrics change in the subtitles so you can all understand. Also, both Hiro and Leïla are wearing similar clothes from the original video that you can see here :

i remember the first time ever i listened to SO i was like pfft rap? get out. (i was cringe) and then when i gave it a listen again a few months later i was a changed person... so i binge listened to their entire discography immediately and was genuinely shocked because how could ALL of their songs be bangers, like i couldn't believe it was possible it was surreal........ i wish i could turn back time (lol) to experience that pure shock again
