g.satoru - 1:19 am
"i can't believe you kissed him—"
it's the dead of night when gojo satoru's fuming, acting as a means of prevention to your long awaited (and well deserved) sleep.
you pull your shared blanket, covering the entirety of yourself. "shut up. not now."
satoru rips the blanket off you. "yes, now. don't try to run away from the consequences to your actions."
an effort to pull back the blanket becomes futile, as you decide not to bother. "you're overreacting."
"why him, why not me? majority of his face is forehead and he's built like a rugby ball. he doesn't even look like a man" he inhales sharply. "what about this face isn't perfect?" satoru gestures to it, hair still slightly damp from the late shower and blindfold nowhere to be seen. "this is basically cheating. why would you do this to me? shall i get rid of my bangs so i have a bigger forehead?"
"satoru, he's just a plushie." you pull the white softness of the cinnamoroll plush to your chest, fingers stroking it's fluff.
"lucky bastard..." a curse or two accompanies his words, as he wraps himself in the blanket, as far away from you as possible. "should've been me."
"satoru—"
"i bet my hair's softer."
"why don't you come here and prove that to me then?"
the blanket unfolds to reveal a pouting gojo satoru. "you even called it a he."
cinnamoroll settles on your bed's head rest, somehow balancing with his 'majority forehead face'. satoru shuffles closer to you, closing the distance between you two.
you shrug. "he's my son. my baby."
"i'm your baby."
"he's baby in the sense of an actual, cute baby. you're baby in the sense of an immature grown ass man."
he responds with an eye roll. "wow. okay. plushie's more important than me i see."
another shrug from you, biting down on your lip to swallow a snicker (it wasn't successful).
"love it's just a plushie—"
"i tried to tell you that initially." satoru faces you to pout, but it has no effect on this little squabble of yours, maybe only a giggle or two from you. "he's so cute, c'mon.
without much effort, satoru picks cinnamoroll up, staring, no, glaring at the poor dog. "you can't find someone cute after they stole your lover."
"he's my son. that would make him your son." the observation makes him stick his tongue out. "all i did was kiss him."
"me related to him? no thank you." satoru continues to inspect the plushie from the sky blue, plastic eyes to the swirly tail on its bottom. "i hate him."
"you look the same. white hair, blue eyes."
satoru scoffs, very pretentiously. "that shade of blue is so dull. mine's bright and shiny. therefore prettier."
you lean in closer, not to whisper to him but to the plush. "i guess you'll be fine with having satoru's good night kiss?"
his jaw drops—literally, betrayal scrawled on his features. "you wouldn't."
"learn to get along with our son then."
satoru huffs indignantly, but brings the plushie to his chest, hugging it tightly. "well he's nice to cuddle. and his big head doesn't look so bad anymore."
finally, you reclaim the blanket stolen from you. "we both know you love him as much as i do."
"ew, as if." but he knows very well you're correct.
[he ended up forgetting the goodnight kiss he was fuming about]

I keep thinking about what slotting the Job sequence in between the Flood and the Crucifixion does for Crowley’s arc, and his relationship to both Aziraphale and heaven.
@amuseoffyre did a great analysis of the importance to Aziraphale's arc here that sparked this thought, but it sent me down a rabbithole because A+C are both having very different experiences here.
Compare how Crowley bounces up to Aziraphale at the flood vs how standoffish he is when the angel shows up to the Job situation. Aziraphale is the one who's all friendly, "Oh it's you!" while Crowley... is pretty businesslike, at least until he gets the chance to start rubbing the reality of the situation in the angel's face.
The flood pissed Crowley off. Job is the first time we start to see the more bitter Crowley we'll get to know. In the Garden he was bemused about overreactions and almost having fun poking this angel with questions about God's plans. Beginning of the flood sequence he was pretty playful. This whole earth thing hasn't been so bad so far, and oh here's that weird angel again, that's fun.
But then he gets hit with God turning on their creation without warning, again. And the flood was at least in God's name ("That's more the type of thing you'd expect my lot to do," he said. Wasn't heaven supposed to be the good guys?). But now with Job? God turns their back and just... doesn't stop hell. Heaven's hands stay clean while hell dirties their evil little claws. Oh, so this is how things are, Crowley realizes. This is the part he's meant to play. Fine.
And seeing how he acts here... I can't help but feel like he'd mostly given up on Aziraphale after the flood. After Crowley went, "Wtf, this is clearly an atrocity," and Aziraphale stuck to "You can't judge the Almighty!" ...well. Giving away the flaming sword was probably a fluke. Just another tool of heaven, that one. Disappointing, but what should he have expected?
So all through their Job interaction he plays up his demonicness, trying to force Aziraphale to toe the party line and prove Crowley's new view on things right, once and for all. But there is a crack there, because not-so deep down Crowley would love for Aziraphale to surprise him again.
(After all... he is lonely. Try some wine with me, or have an ox rib, angel.)
(Fascinated by the difference in Crowley's gleeful "That's just how it started for me, see you in hell" vs. "I'm not taking you to hell, Angel. I don't think you'd like it." And only admitting to the loneliness once he isn't totally alone anymore; I think the original lie was more to himself than anything. He's angry, he's bitter, these righteous angels shouldn't think they're any better than him, not when they can doubt too. But when it comes down to it? No, I don't actually want to drag you all the way there. Something about guns and miraculous escapes, and his comment about Wee Morag, it's different when it's someone you know, isn't it. Hm. Anyways.)
By the end of the Job situation they have a moment where they confirm they are more similar than they thought. But it's not a happy thing. It won't be until Rome when they start enjoying each other's company just for the sake of it. So at the crucifixion Crowley comes up to Aziraphale still prodding at him. You happy about this, Angel? You smirking over how righteous it is? But now instead of, "You can't judge the Almighty," we get "I'm not consulted on policy decisions." Implying he disagrees without really saying it. And that's enough for now, Crowley will take it.
From the flood -> Job -> crucifixion -> Rome, we see Crowley get angry, then more and more resigned and bitter. Until Aziraphale reaches out and pulls him out of it.
#i like how the Job sequence both shakes things up and doesn't at the same time#it's not totally necessary to make the arc work but the context helps you understand so much more#good omens#good omens meta#good omens 2#good omens spoilers#crowley#v watches good omens#job flashback

Confidentiality - Chapter 7. - yandere!ATEEZ OT8 x f!reader
Introduction: Joining a peer support group for mentally ill was a good idea for the last two times you were there. Then it's only natural for the third time to go well too, right?
Pairings: yandere!Hongjoong x reader, yandere!Seonghwa x reader, yandere!Yunho x reader, yandere!Yeosang x reader, yandere!San x reader, yandere!Mingi x reader, yandere!Wooyoung x reader, yandere!Jongho x reader
T/W: This story will include talk about mental health struggles such as body dysmorphia, paranoid thoughts and more. Possessive and obsessive behavior, stalking, manipulation, violence. Dark themes are to be expected. A/N: I'm so scared to post this... Forgive me for the long wait! I was about to post this sooner, but my friend said this wasn't good, so I was devastated and swore to myself to delete my account (overreacting a little?) I'm definitely not confident in this chapter, and I have to apologize to the people who have been waiting for this; you deserve better. I've been having a tough time in my personal life these past weeks, and I'm not in the same state as I was in when I started posting. The chapters will be posted less often compared to the usual pace - for now at least. I am sorry. I hope at least someone will find this enjoyable. Word count: 4 859 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ “Yeosang, we shouldn’t...”
“It’s okay. Jongho won’t know,” Yeosang whispered to you with a reassuring look, trying to ignore the nervousness of what would happen if Jongho found out.
“But he would get really angry.”
“That’s only if you tell him. Please, let’s do this. Okay?”
The mix of hesitation and guilt was evident on your face, as you pondered what to do. You had no reason to feel guilty; you hadn’t done anything wrong yet, but just considering of accepting Yeosang’s offer made you feel ill.
“Fine... But just one,” you murmured.
Yeosang smiled shyly, a gleam of triumph in his eyes, and scooted closer to you on the couch, that suddenly seemed too small for both of you.
“Just one...”
Then, Yeosang took two chocolate bars out of his brown bag, and gave the other one to you, wrapper rustling. It was your favorite one, which baffled you, because you couldn’t recall ever telling Yeosang that.
“How angry do you think Jongho would be if he found out we’ve eaten before dinner? He said I should save my hunger for the food,” you spoke while munching on the bar.
Yeosang chuckled sheepishly at your worry. It seemed like he hesitated for a bit, almost like scared to touch you, before setting his hand on your shoulder, “You’re a grown woman. He can’t tell you what to do.”
His hand lingered longer than necessary. It sent tingles around your upper half; you weren’t used to affectionate touch, but after joining the peer support group you received it more than maybe necessary.
“I think you should take another one,” Yeosang offered you more chocolate, working as the devil on your shoulder while looking like an angel, tempting you to give in to the pleasure of gluttony.
You were too far gone. The first chocolate bar had woken up your hunger that shouldn’t be satiated until Jongho was there.
“I guess one more wouldn’t do any bad.”
After devouring nine more with Yeosang, to your horror, you didn’t find yourself hungry anymore. Your stomach was full, and to be honest, it even ached. It was expected, and you felt guilty to have betrayed Jongho.
“I... think this was a mistake.”
Yeosang looked away in shame and took his hand off your thigh he had placed it on, as the warmth left you too, “I-I’m sorry. I just wanted to buy you something nice.”
He looked like a kicked puppy, staring at the floor. It would have been cruel of you to let him believe you didn’t appreciate his kindness.
He had just wanted to make you happy, which he succeeded in, but you were afraid of Jongho’s reaction. Yeosang and him didn’t even know each other properly, having shared only a couple words.
After a little hesitation, you patted Yeosang’s shoulder in reassurance, “It’s okay. I appreciate your gesture.”
Yeosang and you had been hanging out a lot after last therapy session. You found yourself enjoying his company and even starting to trust him – maybe a bit too much to your liking. You let him in your apartment, of course under your surveillance, but still; it was a big step in starting to give people chances.
But this was a day you were supposed to spend with Jongho. Still, Yeosang had come to your apartment, smiling sheepishly and convincing you to let him hang out with you and Jongho. How could you refuse him when he looked at you with those hopeful brown eyes? It would have been a crime not to let him in especially when he had brought you chocolate.
Hopefully, Jongho wouldn’t mind that much that you had already stuffed yourself with candy before dinner.
The doorbell rang, indicating Jongho was there, making your full stomach flutter with anxiety.
Every step you took towards the door felt too fast, approaching the inevitable danger. You hoped the floor had a sinkhole under it and you’d fall into it, rather than you having to open the door. Jongho could be furious, but like usually, he would show it in other ways than pure aggression.
And behind the door, there he was, standing drenched because he had walked in the sleet on his way to your apartment.
“I brought the ingredients. We’re making soup” Jongho said, two heavy grocery bags in his hands, undoubtedly filled with other stuff as well than just the ingredients.
“Oh, splendid. By the way, Yeosang’s here,” you revealed nervously.
Jongho’s expression turned sour as Yeosang peeked behind you. Neither of the men smiled at each other, but you didn’t think of that as a big deal. Jongho wasn’t one to smile that much and Yeosang was shy; they’d get along just fine. At least you wished so, because if they started fighting, you wouldn’t be able to handle that.
“Do you need a towel? You look quite wet.”
Jongho seemed to contemplate your words for a second before answering, “Yeah, that would be nice.”
“I’ll bring you a fresh towel.”
“No need to. A used towel is just fine. I wouldn’t want to cause you more laundry.”
You frowned but nodded slowly. All kinds of thoughts tangled in your mind, ranging from Jongho wanting to steal your towel to darker scenarios, like selling it on black market to old perverts or criminals who wanted to steal your DNA and make a clone of you. But you had to remember: you had a bad habit of overthinking.
After he had dried himself off with the towel you brought, Jongho walked past Yeosang, shooting him a glare as he made his way to the kitchen.
“Yeosang grates the vegetables,” Jongho informed with a tone that left no room for discussion.
Poor Yeosang didn’t have the courage to refuse so he just walked to the kitchen as well, steps slow and sad. You had to catch the chuckle that was about to fall from your lips despite feeling bad for him.
The three of you started cooking, the kitchen filling with delicious scent and sound of the water boiling and meat frying on the pan. There were no other sounds though, just awkward silence. You didn’t want to be the person who would have to start the conversation, but you were the only one who could do it. You had to be the savior, although you couldn’t afford to hope for Yeosang and Jongho to become friends.
“Uh, this smells really good. I’m sure it will be yummy,” you started, sounding like you were pathetically awful at holding conversations.
Jongho didn’t reply, focused on frying the meat. Luckily – and surprisingly – Yeosang had the social capacity to answer you.
“It will be yummy because you were preparing it.”
It was corny but kind of cute. Jongho didn’t seem to think so as he scoffed.
“With that logic the food will taste like shit because Yeosang is preparing it. He’s cutting the carrots wrong.”
You almost gasped at Jongho’s mean words directed at Yeosang. There was nothing Yeosang could have done to make Jongho hate him; Yeosang was a sweetheart.
The room fell silent once again, but you tried desperately to keep the conversation alive. Usually, silence didn’t bother you as much, but this kind of quiet, tense atmosphere made you uncomfortable.
“Wow Yeosang, I could never cut vegetables as well as you.”
“Instead of cutting vegetables, he should cut the bullshit and tell us why he’s here.”
The situation started feeling even more tense, making it hard to breathe. Surprisingly, Yeosang didn’t seem to take Jongho’s harsh words into heart as much as you would have thought. Sure, he looked flustered and a bit scared, but he still bravely defended himself.
“I-I didn’t know you were coming here... I just wanted to spend time with Y/N.”
“I let him in. Don’t blame him,” you joined in to protect Yeosang from Jongho’s wrath.
You didn’t like to anger Jongho either, but throwing Yeosang under the bus and letting him take all the blame didn’t sit right with you.
It was silent for a moment as Jongho just stared at you two before murmuring, “I’ll let it slide. But I just wished I could have spent today with her alone.”
A pang of guilt hit you, but it was too late to kick Yeosang out. Jongho just had to deal with the situation now, and you’d apologize later.
The food was done in about 30 minutes, and the three of you were sitting at the table. Jongho had stolen the place next to you before Yeosang could even utter a word, and Yeosang was sitting opposite to Jongho. It wasn’t a nice spot to sit at, under Jongho’s spiteful eyes.
“Jongho, how was the weather? You looked pretty upset when you got here,” you wondered.
“I was upset about the weather, yes. Now I have other reasons.”
You couldn’t come up with any else response than just nodding to him. It was not your fault he seemed so grumpy and unresponsive – well, maybe it was your fault for letting Yeosang in.
The food was good, but you definitely did not feel that way otherwise. Yeosang must have felt very uncomfortable, you thought, so instead of dealing with Jongho’s attitude, you wanted to talk to Yeosang.
“How have you liked hanging out with me?”
That was the best you could do in that atmosphere.
“Well, I think you’re lovely and-”
“Have you been hanging out? How much?” Jongho interrupted Yeosang and raised his gaze from the food.
The look on his face startled you. It was intense, burning through your skin to find out the truth. You had done nothing wrong, just hanging out with Yeosang. Even if the relationship between you and Jongho wasn’t fake, it wouldn’t be wrong of you to have friends.
“Well, we’ve been meeting pretty frequently this week.”
Jongho’s eyes narrowed. He gripped the utensils tighter, but couldn’t find the words to say. His body language told enough.
Not to Yeosang though, because he didn’t drop the subject, “Y/N and I went to a restaurant. It was very romantic...”
The chair you were sitting on felt so uncomfortable but it was like you were tied to it, unable to leave the room. Your eyes begged Yeosang to stop, but he didn’t seem to notice.
“A-At one point, she needed help with the zipper of her dress. The dress was beautiful just like its wearer.”
Jongho nodded, signaling Yeosang to continue.
“We also went ice-skating. It was freezing so I gave her my jacket.”
You sensed a catastrophe was about to happen. The tension and Jongho would snap any moment now, and you were not waiting eagerly for that to happen. Yeosang was like a completely different man, not seeming so reserved and anxious anymore.
“If she was my girlfriend, I would treat her like a queen.”
It all happened so fast. The sound of the plate shattering and the sight of Yeosang’s bloody face were something you couldn’t realize first nor forget.
Yeosang’s nose was bleeding, eyes teary in pain, yet his face was also covered in soup. The plate shattered on the floor in thousand little pieces served as a reminder to you, that Jongho had really thrown the plate at Yeosang’s face.
The room was silent for a small moment. Yeosang’s pain and state made you feel sick in stomach. Jongho had no reason to throw the plate; he didn’t even love you. It was just pure, cruel violence towards Yeosang who had complimented you kindly.
“What the hell?!” your head snapped to look at Jongho.
Against all expectations, he looked horrified. It was a sight that had never been seen, Jongho being so calm and collected usually. He didn’t look guilty, but yet his eyes were wide open in terror, after he had finally realized what he had done.
“I-I didn’t mean to do that.”
It wasn’t like you to show your anger, but this was a serious situation, serious violence towards your friend. One thing you couldn’t accept was hurting people close to you. It wasn’t always easy to defend them since you were afraid of the consequences, but you couldn’t let this slide.
“It doesn’t matter! You still did it because you couldn’t control yourself. What did Yeosang even do to deserve this?”
“He was flirting with you,” Jongho muttered despite wanting to present himself stronger.
“And why does it bother you? We’re not even really dating.”
Yeosang’s eyes looked like the plate that had just crashed into his head; that’s how wide they were after hearing your revelation.
You didn’t even care about the fake relationship anymore. You couldn’t care less about Jongho either anymore, at least that’s what you told yourself. But deep down, you knew it was a lie. After all the dates and days you had spent with him, despite them being fake, you had grown fond of him.
But resorting into violence when he didn’t even love you, was what you found repulsive. At that moment, you saw him as a monster worse than the stalker.
“Get out and never talk to us again.”
“I’m sorry. I’ll do anything to repair this.”
“There’s no way you could redeem yourself,” you said sharply. His face you had found handsome just a few moments ago made you feel disgusted now.
“Let me help you, Yeosang-”
Jongho’s attempt at fixing the situation was shut down by you instantly. You wouldn’t let him touch Yeosang.
“Don’t touch him. Get out or I’ll call the police. They’ll arrest you for assault.”
He looked so sad as you demanded him to go out. The mention of police apparently worked though, because he started making his way out. You wouldn’t grant him any access to your apartment anymore. He had no keys to your home and definitely none of your sympathy. For the rest of his life, he would be banned from entering.
You rushed to Yeosang as Jongho left the apartment, the sound of the front door shutting signaling that.
“Are you hurting much?”
“Y-Yes. I’m pretty sure my nose is bleeding.”
With careful movements, you wiped his face clean of the food. Once his face was clear of the hot soup, you noticed his nose was indeed bleeding.
You couldn’t help but feel guilty, despite nothing being your fault. If you hadn’t let Yeosang in your apartment, this catastrophe would have never happened.
“I’m so sorry, Yeosang-”
“Were you really fake dating Jongho?”
You hadn’t expected Yeosang to ask that, but he deserved your honesty after what happened.
“Yes. Jongho suggested it so he could protect me from a stalker that has been sending me disturbing stuff,” you sighed.
Yeosang hummed in acknowledgement, before he frowned, “Do you have any idea who it could be?”
“It’s someone from the therapy group, but at least it isn’t you... I hope so.”
Yeosang let out a shy laugh at your comment, “What can I do to gain your trust?”
“Only time will help,” you grinned sheepishly, “So you’d do well to not be revealed as the stalker.”
Yeosang started looking dizzy, so you decided you’d let him take a nap on your bed. While you tucked him in, he gave you a sleepy smile, making your heart ache in guilt yet warm up with gratitude for him not blaming you.
He slept like a baby the whole night, and you checked up on him frequently to see if he had stopped suddenly breathing or suffered concussion. You weren’t one to abandon your friends... and you were also kind of afraid if he died the police would blame it on you. That night, you slept on the couch, too scared to sleep next to Yeosang. He was your friend, but he could backstab you any moment both figuratively and literally.
The next day, you were at the therapy meeting once again. You didn’t know whether to be surprised or not about the fact that Jongho wasn’t there. Yeosang and San were sitting next to you.
“What’s up with Yeosang’s face?” San leaned to whisper to you, wondering why Yeosang’s face was bruised. His scent was appealing, and you felt both nervous yet somehow excited to be so close to him.
“Um, he hit himself with a hockey stick.”
“Dumbass,” San chuckled in response.
You wanted to punch him, but after some thinking, he probably hadn’t meant anything bad with it. San was playful but you had never seen him act hostile except when Hongjoong had insulted you.
As Hongjoong himself came in the room, being the last one to enter, you realized Yeosang wasn’t the only one who had been assaulted.
Hongjoong’s cheek was bruised and it almost hurt you to look at it. There was an eyepatch in front of his left eye – if there even was an eye there anymore...
“Ahoy! The pirate king’s here!” Wooyoung cheered gleefully, earning a few chuckles around the room.
Even if the eye patch wasn’t enough to make Hongjoong look like a pirate, he was limping. It was honestly a sad sight.
Hongjoong shot a deadly glare at Wooyoung, looking like he wanted to say something. But he held back from starting to argue with him. He knew what mean words had gotten him into last time.
“May I ask what happened to you?” Charlotte directed her question at Hongjoong who looked like he wanted to kill someone.
“You may not,” he sat down as far away from Wooyoung and San as possible.
Right at the moment Hongjoong spoke his words, the tension tightened, like a rubber band being pulled from both sides. Even though Charlotte started speaking again, explaining that today’s subject was inspiration and motivation, nobody could concentrate, just focusing on Hongjoong’s pathetic state.
“Looks like Jongho isn’t here. Does anyone know where he is?”
You felt cold shivers when the attention was on you, listening ears all around you, waiting for your answer because you were supposedly Jongho’s girlfriend. What could you tell? That Jongho had thrown a plate at Yeosang’s face and gotten kicked out of your apartment?
“Last time I hung out with him he seemed a little sick,” Yunho informed.
You had had no idea that Yunho had even spoken to Jongho, but now he was revealing that they had been hanging out.
“That’s weird. He told me that he... Never mind,” Charlotte shrugged, “Let’s start with Mingi. What is your motivation to keep living?”
Mingi seemed to be deep in thoughts before looking straight at you and smiling happily like you had asked the question, not Charlotte, “I keep living because my music helps people.”
Wooyoung snickered and turned to look at San swiftly, who just smiled faintly in response.
“Weren’t you performing at the Valentine’s Day event?”
Mingi nodded confidently at Wooyoung’s question.
“I happened to see Y/N and Jongho there. They were the only ones that stayed,” Wooyoung mentioned.
But unlike Wooyoung had hoped, Mingi didn’t seem fazed by his mocking, “It means the world to me that Y/N stayed. Have you done anything to gain and earn her attention?”
The way Mingi stayed confident and didn’t back down made you feel proud of him. He had been ridiculed so much before that he deserved to finally stand his ground proudly.
Wooyoung shut up when Mingi didn’t react to his comment in the way he wanted. A rare sight truly, was to see Wooyoung embarrassed, murmuring something to San.
“Let’s not mock each other here, okay? This is a place of acceptance and love.”
Charlotte’s pacific words almost made you cringe. How was it that when Hongjoong had insulted you, Charlotte let it happen, not caring to defend you, but now she wanted to play an ambassador of peace?
“Yunho, go ahead and tell us your motivation and inspiration to life, please.”
“Protecting the people I love keeps me going.”
“Why not protecting all people? You’re a policeman, you just can’t pick and choose who to protect,” Wooyoung chimed in again.
“Oh, shut up already,” San smacked Wooyoung in the head.
In your opinion, Wooyoung’s question was valid. Maybe it was just because you wanted a reason to suspect Yunho, but it was reasonable to consider why Yunho mentioned only his loved ones.
“Oh, of course I want to protect everyone. Justice means everything to me. Locking up criminals is just my way of protecting my girlfriend.”
You felt incredibly stupid and shocked – yet also relieved. All this time, Yunho had had a girlfriend, but you had been suspecting him of being the stalker. A wave of relief washed over you, making you relax on your seat, finally knowing that Yunho wasn’t the stalker. He was just an innocent man who seemed a bit twisted.
“You have a girlfriend?” San asked, eyebrows raised in surprise.
Yunho’s smile was an odd and dreamy one, “Well, she’s not my girlfriend yet but she will be. Sooner or later.”
And it was gone, your relief and belief that Yunho would be safe after all. His words sounded ominous even if it wasn’t possibly you who he was talking about.
“Yeosang, your turn.”
“I’m motivated to live because I finally have a friend by my side.”
As Yeosang turned to glance at you quickly, the corners of your lips rose into a soft smile. Having had deep conversations with him before, you knew about the loneliness he had had to endure his whole life due to his social anxiousness.
“Do you think she really wants to be your friend? Or does she hang out with you because she pities you?”
Hongjoong dared to speak ill again, and you weren’t about to accept that. Maybe you didn’t know how to defend yourself, but you had developed an instinct to take care of Yeosang, so you spoke before thinking.
“Pity him? If I befriended people because I pity them, you would be my best friend. You’re pathetic, thinking you’re so much better than others just because you were born with a silver spoon up your ass.”
A forced scoff made its way out of Hongjoong’s mouth when you insulted him, “That’s the best what you can do? I’ve gained my wealth and glory by my own. You wouldn’t know that, leeching off government’s aids.”
“Do you talk about anything other than money and how successful you are? You’re making your whole personality orbit around things that are going to disappear anyways.”
“Everything and everyone disappear eventually. Just like your parents did.”
Hongjoong’s snarky reply froze you. There was no way he could know about your parents’ disappearance in your childhood. Either he wanted to use a petty, unoriginal insult or he actually knew secrets about your past that only people who you trusted should have known.
It was the last thing you expected, him bringing up things about the most painful time in your life. About the time you so desperately wanted to forget.
“I advise you to shut your mouth, Hongjoong,” San said coldly.
It worked to your surprise and luck. Hongjoong’s bruised lips shut and he was glaring at San with the visible eye. Despite his undeniable fury, he kept all of his thoughts where they belonged.
“Y/N, could you tell us about your motivation next?”
You had to learn to open up, but after Hongjoong’s comment, you couldn’t. Your mouth was sealed, sewn shut.
It was humiliating to have let him get under your skin once again, but it was impossible for you to speak anymore. You were silent, while everyone was waiting, but you did not care.
“It’s okay, say something vague,” San took your hand gently, making you flinch.
Everyone in the room was nuts. They were way too intrusive, though in many variable ways.
But you couldn’t let Hongjoong win, to make you shut down completely. The satisfaction it would bring him made you feel disgusted, so you managed to come up with an answer.
“My motivation to live is to prove that I refuse to die like this.”
The others were silent, taking your words in.
“Wow, that’s inspiring. A bit cringe, but inspiring,” Wooyoung nodded.
The round continued, it being San’s turn next. He talked about how his aspiration was to be the best version of himself. Wooyoung didn’t have an answer that deep, but it was okay. Apparently, he dreamed of having a sword battle with Hongjoong, because he was convinced he’d win the ‘pirate king’ himself. The notorious pirate king did not even scoff but he was embarrassed, looking away with his one eye.
It was Seonghwa’s turn.
“My motivation to live is not anything special,” he started sheepishly, “I just want to take care of my loved ones. Make them feel like they’re the most important people in the world. Because they are – to me.”
Seonghwa’s admission melted your heart into a puddle. How could one be so sweet and still be friends with Hongjoong? It was suspicious.
Maybe they weren’t friends after all, because Seonghwa hadn’t been sitting next to Hongjoong that therapy session. There was an empty chair between them, a spot where Jongho was supposed to be. Jongho could have been next to you if he wasn’t such a madman and hadn’t thrown the plate at Yeosang. The memory still made you boil.
Hongjoong was the last to speak. For a second, he didn’t look as angry as before, but the soft expression was quickly gone.
“My motivation is to prove I am better than everyone else. And my inspiration to all of my recent work... it’s someone special.”
Your ears must have been damaged or lying, because you couldn’t fathom the fact that Hongjoong had called someone ‘special’. Unless he meant himself, of course. The man with a heart made of iron had a soft spot for another human being. It surely wasn’t you to your luck.
As if he wasn’t intimidating enough with the pirate type of look, his gaze made you shiver. It stopped on you for a moment, reading you like a book he was strangely interested in.
He stared at you with his eye, and surely the one under the eyepatch would have been directed to you as well.
The feeling of being watched and stared at didn’t stop even when you were walking home. Your home wasn’t far away from the bus stop, actually a very small distance, but the need to run was overwhelming. Like someone was breathing in your neck, you knew it was just the wind.
The couple hundred steps it took to reach your apartment felt excruciating, pure torture to your mind. But when you finally got home, feeling the warmth and turning on the lights, the world seemed to brighten up a little bit. Out there, you were in danger but your home was the safest place you could be at – although you always had the nagging sensation of someone watching you. Home inspectors had told you countless times there was nothing to be afraid of but you knew better. Others may have thought of it as highly unlikely but there was always a possibility of the stalker living inside your walls.
Looking around the apartment for any signs of something suspicious like letters, you came to the conclusion that nobody had been there. So, for that night at least, you were safe. This had become a ritual for you. It was impossible for you to fall asleep if you hadn’t checked every room.
As you were brushing your teeth in the bathroom, you glanced at yourself in the mirror. Eye bags told the story of your restless nights, tossing and turning around in anxiety. Your psychiatrist advised you to start taking melatonin but that was too risky. What if someone really broke into your apartment and you wouldn’t wake up from your slumber?
The bedroom was always the last room you checked. It was small, so there weren’t a lot of potential hiding spots for stalkers and murderers to attack from. Still, you had to check it thoroughly.
In the bedroom, there was a pile of pieces of fabric on the floor. Instantly, you recognized the pattern being your bed sheets.
You just couldn’t remember changing the sheets before you left. Sure, Yeosang could have changed them as an act of kindness after he had slept on your bed. His blood had surely stained the pillow sheets, and Yeosang was a considerate man.
Nonetheless, you were exhausted, and the clean bedsheets invited you to snuggle in, smell the fresh scent of laundry detergent. You knew you should have been more careful, think about the situation with more depth. But still, you let yourself fall onto the bed and let it embrace you.
You instantly noticed something was off though. The sheets didn’t smell like the laundry detergent or anything that you could reason with. They didn’t carry the scent of Yeosang either.
As you sniffed the sheets furiously, trying to dig your memories to realize what the scent was, you realized something. The scent was too familiar. It wasn’t Yeosang. It wasn’t you. There was absolutely no reason for the sheets to smell like Jongho, but they did. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <- Chapter 6. Oliver Queen when he found out his son had remained friends with Jason Todd
Oliver Queen stood by his window, drawing back his bowstring, a steely focus in his eyes.
Oliver (whispering): All right, stand still.
As he prepared to take his shot, Roy was chatting with Jason when he caught sight of his father on the balcony, bowstring drawn and arrow ready. Acting on instinct, Roy tackled Jason to the ground just as Oliver released the arrow, which narrowly missed them both.
Roy (breathing heavily): Could you not try to kill him?!
Oliver (shouting angrily): I was aiming for his leg!
Jason, unfazed, lay on the ground, smirking.
Jason (mockingly): Destroy my leg, but spare my life… I respect that.
Roy rolled his eyes as he stood up.
Roy (grinning): He says he respects that it wasn't a kill shot!
Oliver (frustrated): I don’t care about his opinion! But thanks nonetheless!
Jason picked himself up, brushing off the dirt and ready to stir the pot.
Jason (tauntingly): Are you still butt hurt that I made you cry like a baby when I called you out?
Oliver’s face flushed with anger.
Oliver (defensive): That was allergies, you idiot! Just stay away from my son—you’re a bad influence!
Jason laughed, crossing his arms.
Jason (smirking): Hey, it’s not my fault I took care of your son better than you did!
Oliver’s expression hardened as he considered nocking another arrow.
Oliver (shouting): You son of a bitch! I did take care of him!
Jason stepped closer, challenging Oliver.
Jason: You kicked him out of the house and stripped him of his hero status when you found out he was on drugs!
Oliver (poorly defending himself): He’s alive right now, so it worked out! I am a good father!
Jason laughed, shaking his head.
Roy: Jason, let’s just leave.
Jason: No, no, I love this I'm not leaving until he cries!
Jason stepped forward, raising his voice.
Jason: Good fathers don’t disown their kids and refuse to help them! You make my father look like a saint; at least he tried! He was a hypocrite for most of it, but you kicked your son out instead of helping him! Just because he's turned out fine doesn’t fix anything!
Oliver shook with rage, angrily preparing another arrow, but Dinah suddenly walked outside and snatched it away.
Dinah: Act like an adult, or I’m calling off date night!
Roy put his phone away, having texted Black Canary about the argument upstairs.
Roy: Thanks, Dinah.
Dinah: You’re welcome! Good to see you again, Roy and Jason. I don’t like you that much Jason, but Oliver is overreacting.
She smacked Oliver lightly on the back of the head before going back inside with the arrows. Oliver groaned, resting his forehead on the railing of the balcony.
Jason: Want to cry again? I can slash the tires on your new car if you need some extra motivation.
Roy chuckled and shook his head, but Oliver, visibly irritated and embarrassed, pulled out his phone.
Oliver (firmly): You know what? I don’t care if you two are adults. I’m calling Bruce and telling on you!
Jason's eyes widened, panic flashing across his face as Oliver retreated to his bedroom.
Jason (threateningly): Old man, I will throw a rock through every single window of your house if you dial his number!
With a defiant smirk, Jason bolted toward the mansion, with Roy hot on his heels, secretly enjoying the chaos.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Twilight runs to you in an instant, putting his hands on your shoulders and looking you up and down. He pokes and prods, trying to find any evidence to any injury you may have.
The action was so sudden and foreign that you freeze up, letting him do as he pleased until he was satisfied.
"I...I'm fine." You reply in a quiet voice.
Twilight seems to relax, patting your cheek softly. "Good. You really had me worried when you screamed."
"Yeah... I... overreacted." You admit, regretably.
"Well, I'd rather see you overreact and be fine than try to hide something serious." Twilight ruffles your hair before marching off.
Somehow, you feel comforted and warm. A smile worms it way onto your face as you try to fix your hair.
Wild comes around and sling his arm around your shoulders. "Enjoying the Twilight treatment?"
Your little bubble breaks as you stare back at him. "What?"
Wild nods sagely. "Yeah, he does this often. I guess he likes you now or something. He's going to be more smothering than I think you're ready for."
You think about it and pat Wild's hand. He takes it off and you turn to him with a smile. "I don't know... I think it's nice."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah..." You say softly. "...I kinda wish my brother was like that..."
Twilight turns to see you both and waves you over. "Come on! We have to get a move on!"
"Coming!"
And frankly, that wasn't the first time you thought that way.
You were out shopping and trying to get enough food to feed the boys for the upcoming leg of the trip when a relatively young and good looking villager appears next to you. "Hello there."
You smile back, wanting to be polite and friendly. "Hi."
They seems nice and all, but you wonder by they're talking to you to begin with. They smile wider and lean a little closer to you. "What's your name?"
You give them your name but lean away a little. "Can I help you?"
They seem to get the impression that they've made you a little uncomfortable so they lean away. "Oh, no, I was just wondering what brought someone like you to our neck of the woods is all."
You shift even more uncomfortably.
"Hey!" Twilight comes from behind you, wrapping his arm around you effortlessly and sticks his hand in between you and this stranger. "I see you've made a friend. My name is Link. Nice to meet you."
They smile back tensely and shake his hand. They give their name. "Nice to meet you too."
He smiles easily and salutes. "Likewise. Now excuse us. Dad wants to talk to us about something."
He spins you around and leads you away without giving you, or the other person, any time to ask questions. You take a breath and allow yourself to relax now that you're away form them. Twilight notices. "Sorry I showed up late. I looked over and saw how uncomfortable you looked. They didn't try anything, did they?"
You shake your head, latching onto his arm. "No. You showed up at the perfect time. I thought they might have tried something."
Twilight nods. "Just stay close to me then. It should deter others from doing the same."
You smile softly.
"Thank you... big brother."

Visions of Temptation 2024/KINKTOBER DAY 5: Make-up Sex
"I told you already. Even if I didn't have my curse, I'd still see right through you. Because you're simply that bad of a liar."
The tiny gasp you let out only makes Harrison that much more amused. You feel the blood boiling in your veins, not even caring anymore if you're overreacting or not.
"I swear, this has nothing to do with you, Harry. I too like to drink strawberry milk sometimes, okay? It's as simple as that! I wanted to drink some so I got myself some. It was my strawberry milk. It wasn't strawberry milk I left for you because I'm too shy to tell you I got you a gift! Jeez!"
"I told you it's fine. I know how shy you can be when it comes to expressing your feelings…"
He pauses to take a sip - the last sip, precisely - of the glass before setting it down where you can see it.
The audacity.
"…So now that you saw me enjoying your gift, we can close the topic if you want to. No need to get so worked up over it… though I'd admit, it's a good look on you."
You watch the empty glass in disbelief.
"…It's sexy, even."
And in the next second, you simply storm out of the room.
***
Later that night, you enter the castle with your cheeks hurting from the big grin you’ve been sporting for quite some time now. With a spring in your step, you walk into the foyer while still linking arms with Liam.
You caught a carriage ride back home together after you ran into him, as your late afternoon going out happened to coincide with him finishing his rehearsal at Scala. Spending some time with him was definitely better than sulking by yourself while browsing the marketplace, seeing how quickly and effortlessly he cheered you up with his bright and bubbly persona. You're not sure if he asked out of politeness or if he picked up the signs of you having a bad day that easily - great, not only are you a bad liar but it seems like you can't hide your feelings at all now - but it wasn't long before you were telling Liam all about your lovers' quarrel earlier that day.
Liam's initial reaction was to smile. Just a smile, not a mocking laugh that reminds you of a certain someone's relentless teasing. Then he made sure to comfort you about it, saying he understands why you're upset with Harry. He's a good friend of his, after all, he knew exactly what you're talking about.
Liam's magenta eyes lighted up for a second, like an imaginary pair of cat ears tingling in attention on the top of his head, with a new smile blooming on his face. A mischievous one this time. He told you he has a plan.
"We're hooooome!" Liam announces out loud, making sure the figure sitting with its back to the door is able to hear it. Of course, both you and Liam know who this is, but you pretend you don't.
"Oh, Harry, it's you!"
Turning to face you while still holding onto the book he's been reading while waiting for your arrival, you and Liam make sure he sees your linked arms just for a bit longer before you let go of each other. You approach first, resting your arms on the backrest of the sofa where Harrison is sitting and gushing about the fun time you had with Liam.
"…And then he looked down and saw he was still wearing those funny-looking medieval shoes from the rehearsal!"
"I can't believe you had to point them out to me… In my defense, Tom is absolutely working me to the bone these days! He's so excited for this new play we're putting on!"
"Who wouldn't be? When you told me about the plot of it, it got me all excited too! Can't believe I haven't seen this play before… I definitely have to come see it. Hey, Harry, you're coming too, aren't you?"
Between the animated gesturing of you and Liam, Harrison remains quiet and mostly still. He crosses his arms in front of his chest, tilting his head for a second as if he's been distracted until you spoke his name.
"Hm? Oh, sure. I'll be there."
"Yaaay!" You clap your hands, before turning your attention to Liam again, as he apologizes for having to leave the two of you so soon. He doesn't forget to say that he's going out early in the morning and probably won't be back till the end of the day. And you don't forget to show how much you're going to miss him, giving him a nice goodbye hug. Right in front of Harrison's eyes.
Once he's gone, you let out a sigh, but don't hurry to move your attention to Harry just yet, even as you walk past him on the sofa. This, however, leaves you wide open, as a pair of arms wraps around your waist in a flash, pulling you right into the lap of the cunning fox.
"Eeek! What's gotten into you, Harry?"
Up this close, reading Harrison's gaze is not hard, even while he's doing the same to you. It's rare to see him so unlike himself, but if there's one thing you know for sure, it's that this is the face of a man being jealous. You need no special abilities to tell this much.
"Nothing much. What's gotten into you? You seem to be in high spirits."
You scrunch your nose at him, opening your mouth to bite back… but you select your words carefully so as not to be caught telling a lie, answering the question with a question.
"Can't I be?"
"'Dunno. It's not the face of someone whose treat was stolen earlier."
It's tempting to break the intense eye contact with a roll of your eyes, but you hold back, even if his words provoke you to do just that.
"Oh, that? I got over it already! I'm not childishly stingy about getting my treats stolen, like a certain someone."
Ouch, that must have hurt. You worry about going too far, but you can't deny the amusement of getting back at him. Especially when you can bask in the results of your earlier performance being written across his face. Maybe your place is in Scala, after all.
His teal eyes shimmer with an unfamiliar light in them, and trying to figure it out makes you feel dizzy. In the next moment, it ceases mattering altogether, because both of you go in for a kiss at the same time.
It begins slowly despite the dramatic pause that preceded it, neither of you wanting to give in first. You let Harrison in your mouth, just to ambush him; wrapping your tongue around his, you turn the kiss into something rougher, and he doesn't back down to you in the slightest. The mass of frenzied energy inside you manifests in clinging to his arms, to his shoulders, tugging at his hair, at his clothing; you maintain your iron grip even as you notice you're disheveling his shirt at this point.
He is the first to withdraw, and despite looking slightly out of breath, he's still staring at you with the same look in his eyes, almost as if he's mad at you. Good, the feeling is mutual.
"Bedroom. Now."
Thank god he said it already.
Once you find yourself in private with Harrison, you know you will not hold back, and neither will he. It's a surprise that a mindful hand still reaches for the light switch, though it's hardly important for either of you right now. With the way you're set on your goal, bodies knowing the way, you hardly need to be able to use your vision at all.
"You're the worst. I'm so mad at you."
"No, you aren't."
Ignoring his words, you relish in the feeling of the naked torso you drag your fingernails down, once that shirt is finally gone. But you're after his belt next, even if Harrison's own hands are on the way.
He's got your skirt removed already, trying to distract you with a kiss while he removes your blouse next, but you refuse to lift your arms up - not until you claim the next article of clothing on him. He breaks the kiss and clicks his tongue, fed up and impatient. Not unlike you.
He easily finds your wrists and grabs them, backing you to the bed and pushing you down until your body hits the fluffy duvet. From there on, his plan seems to be holding your wrists in one hand above your head while he attempts to lift the hem of your blouse again with the other, but it proves hard with you squirming underneath him. You can't stop looking at the expression he makes, and you remember to use your strongest weapon, your tongue.
"You're pretty worked up, aren't you, Harry? Could it be that you really got jealous…?"
He'd never confess to it straight up, so you can at least have your fun teasing him for a little longer.
"I didn’t."
"Liar."
The growing need to kiss his puckering lower lip is what makes you give up on the undressing war, letting the piece of clothing be taken off of you and discarded somewhere on the floor, joining the pile that's already there. Harrison keeps the kiss short because there's still more he can take off of you.
"Yeah, that's what I am."
That's it? No "at least I know when to stop", anything? You lift your head up to catch him moving down on you and tugging at your underwear using his teeth, and the sight makes you forget about your grudge for a split second. Damn it, you want him so bad.
You know once he gets between your legs you'd be screaming with pleasure no matter how stubborn you are. But at least you want to be the one calling the shots while your anger still fuels your boldness. It takes a little bit of effort and a little bit of tongue down Harrison's throat, but at last, you manage to push him down the bed and turn the tables on him.
Once you're on top, you drag down his pants in a rush together with his underwear, letting his erection spring out in your awaiting hands. You rub the blunt head onto your drenched entrance, teasing him one last time before you gradually sink down on him. Though it lacks the usual gentleness Harry treats you with, always mindful of his own size, and the result has you cursing him.
"F-Fuck you…"
"Yeah, it seems like you're trying to do that."
His big hands snake their way up your waist, already there to support you, and a part of you wants to smack them away and show him how well you can ride him without his aid. But you don't, despite yourself and despite the provoking words that his dirty mouth keeps on spilling.
You don't know what's to blame here, but the pleasure of becoming one with him grows tenfold under these circumstances. You need to keep going like you need air. Like it's the only way to channel the emotions rushing inside you right now. The only pause you're willing to take is to unclasp your bra and throw it down at Harrison.
He catches it, bringing it down to his lips for a second while flashing you another dirty look, before it ceases being of interest to him and he throws it away.
"You're- Haaah- You're seriously bad at this. Aren't you going to say something in defense?"
"I'm more interested in fucking you right now."
Your walls clench as you hear this, your body being way more honest than the words coming out of your mouth tonight, but it's hardly a surprise between the two of you.
"Since when did that become your priority? I thought you were having more fun teasing me?"
"Since yesterday. Remember when I commented on how sexy the look on your face is?"
The pace of your hips falters. Thinking about Harrison desiring you like this is, admittedly, hot, but it's his honesty that messes with your head here. As much as he uses his lies to his advantage, it seems like he can use honesty in just as dangerous ways.
Another lowering of your guard, and another chance for him to flip the two of you around.
Now that he's back on top, Harrison hooks your legs on the folds of his arms and it's your only sign to brace yourself for what's to come.
"Come on, say it. Say that you want me to fuck you. Or lie if you wish, I'm not stopping you."
You have to give up clutching your jaw the second Harrison starts pounding inside you in earnest, but the fear of him stopping is what makes you really say the words.
"Fuck me… Fuck me, please! More! Don't stop!"
"As you wish."
Unlike how talkative both you and Harrison have been so far, the following minutes are filled with nothing but moans and the sound of skin slapping against skin. When he leans over you, caging your body completely in his arms, you can't resist wrapping your own arms securely around his shoulders, afraid of him playing tricks on you again. Even if you know he won't. You need this so badly, and so does he.
"Harry… Harry, tell me you love me…! Ngnnhh-I'm gonna-!"
"I love you. I love you so much."
"I love you too-Ahhhh-!"
Hot-white takes over your vision as Harrison's pace shatters, his thrusts deepening just as you reach your peak, milking him for everything he has. He keeps rutting inside you while he cums, his heavy pants muffled into the crook of your neck as he leaves open-mouthed kisses against your feverish skin. You hold him so tightly even after the strong climax relaxes its grip on you, as if wanting him to sink into your ribcage and completely become one with you.
The kiss the two of you share once you can find your breath again, or maybe even before that, is a sweet one, but the aftertaste of it promises another round of this. It seems like there are still some things you have to settle with Harrison.
Liam when he came up with the idea: Oh they're fucking fucking tonight!

Sugar and Spice Part Two
Part One
“You’re kidding me." Villain slapped her forehead, dragging the hand slowly down her face. "Of all the thousands of henchmen I could've picked, of all the dozens of departments, I chose a culinary minion? I might as well have brought a rolling pin! Or a donut!"
Henchman frowned. A whole host of arguments sat on his tongue. She might have realized his department sooner if she had taken a moment to talk instead of ordering him around like a dog. Also, she'd obviously lied about Supervillain asking for him, so she only had herself to blame for this situation, and frankly, he didn't trust anything she said anymore. In fact, he was very suspicious about what she was actually doing all the way out here and why she'd tricked a henchman to come along. Not to mention she'd jeopardized his job, maybe even his life, with her selfishness.
He quickly swallowed it all down. None of it would be met well, and he didn't need to be more on Villain's bad side than he apparently already was. He could defend his power though.
"Well, maybe if let me bake you something--"
"Just shut up." Villain plopped back down on the mattress and rolled the other direction.
Henchman stared at her back for a moment. "Should I still keep watch?"
"You might as well go to bed. You’re useless to me.”
Again with the combat-superiority bias. Henchman bit his tongue. “I might not be a good fighter, but I could still wake you up if there's trouble."
"Do whatever you want."
Fine then. He threw off his shoes, kicked under the covers, and flipped toward the wall, the bed springs squeaking aggressively under his weight.
Why should he break his back helping out a villain who didn’t even appreciate it? This was just so typical villain. What a bunch of pretentious snobs flouncing around with their "special" powers and looking down on everyone else. When it came down to it, it wasn't like Villain was really any different from him. They were both pieces. She was just as much under Supervillain's thumb.
“Excuse me?” Villain snarled.
Henchman stiffened. Did he say that out loud? Which part? How much?
He wet his lips and slowly peeked toward Villain's bed but was instantly thrown down. Villain's knees dug hard into Henchman's forearms while her hands were already around his throat, squeezing just tight enough that there was room for a trickle of breath and little else, certainly not any vocals like screaming or begging. "I'm not under anyone's thumb. Got that? I'm not afraid of anyone. If I wanted, I could finish you right here."
Henchman froze. Some prey ran, some fought back, but he was of the type that went still. Like a possum playing dead or a deer in the headlights. He couldn’t move even if he wanted to. All he could really do was stare helplessly wide-eyed up at her. The ends of her hair tickled Henchman’s cheeks, and she bent close enough that he could pick out the amber specks in her molten eyes and feel the warmth of her breath across the bridge of his nose. She blinked into his gaze, and the snarl on her face softened.
She huffed. You’re just lucky I don’t have the time to clean up a body.” She unstraddled his chest and rose off the edge of the bed.
Henchman coughed a couple times and rubbing away the lingering pressure of her fingertips from his throat. "Bit of an overreaction for someone so sure of herself."
Villain whirled, red mane catching the air before floating back to her shoulders. "Do you want to die?"
Henchman smiled innocently. He was being so stupid. He knew that. But for some reason, he felt if Villain really was the sort of person who killed carelessly, she would have rid herself of him the moment he revealed the mistake. One less witness to her trip, mission, thing.
"Certainly not."
“Then shut. Up.” She flicked off the lamp on her way to her bed, blanketing them in darkness except for the sliver of street light stealing through a gap in the curtains.
“Of course, your eminence.”
Henchman curled back on his side, prey heart pounding even under the cover of freshly conjured snark. He rubbed his throat again. He was probably lucky she’d chosen a physical warning over using her powers. If there was any villain he should actually be showing respect to it was her. A primary power user. She’d been top dog of the city before Supervillain showed up and organized everything. She had the power to rearrange, but he had the power to take apart. And taking apart was so much quicker. So right hand it was.
“Villain?”
“Didn’t I tell you to shut up? I’m trying to sleep.”
“Are you running away?”
“What?” Her eyes caught the light from the street, glowing catlike. “Do you think I’m some sort of cow—”
“It’s ok if you are. I bet you could run your own city.”
She blinked.
“Supervillain’s sort of made it impossible for any sort of natural growth in the organization. He kills people for their mistakes, he pits his subordinates against each other, he doesn’t value any of tertiary power types; sometimes it feels like he doesn’t care about the strength of the organization as long as everyone else stays beneath him. It’s not like he’s at risk of being taken out by anyone. Heroes or otherwise.” Henchman caught himself, quickly shaking out his rant. “I’m just saying that it makes sense to me why you might want to leave. Do your own thing.”
"That's not any of your business." She closed her eyes again and didn't say any more.
Henchman forced his own eyes shut. Despite being tired, his thoughts were filled with Supervillain. His insides twisted into knots, raising a light bout of nausea. He couldn't go back. Henchman might be too valuable to kill, but there was no guarantee. Supervillain's decisions weren't always logical. Henchman was actually a little glad to be away from it all. There had been no hope for escape on his own--Supervillain didn't like being stolen from, and leaving was a theft of yourself--but maybe if he was on Villain's side he'd be ok.
Henchman pulled the covers closer around him. He must have fallen asleep because when he next opened his eyes, the room was lit in the dim blue-gray of early morning. The shower handle squeaked from the other side of the wall, and a few minutes later, Villain emerged in the same clothes as yesterday, hair pulled in a wet bubble braid that reached to the middle of her back. She yanked on her boots and snatched the car keys from the bedside table.
“I'll drop you off at a bus stop, but you'll have to find your own way back.”
Henchman blinked groggily at her, but as it struck he shot upright. "Back?" He gaped at her. "You want me to go back? Alone? With nothing but my own word that you forced me to come with you?"
"Well, it's not like I need you to stay. Two people are much easier to track than one."
"You screwed up my job! I missed my deadline! Supervillain could have me killed!"
"And you'll be better off begging for forgiveness than continuing on."
Henchman frowned. Was she actually looking out for him? "What if became your henchman?"
"What are you even talking about?"
"You're building your own empire, right? You'll need followers. So, I'll be the first one. I'll do everything you don't want to and prove that I'm actually useful."
Villain furrowed her brow, suspicion rearranging the pattern of her freckles. "Why?"
"What do you mean?"
"You're just a random henchman that I've never even met. Why are throwing yourself at me?"
Henchman flushed. "Ok, first of all, I don't think I'd describe it like that. Second, we have met. Last, my powers are 100% support-based. I need a boss, and I'd rather work for you than Supervillain."
"What are you going to do, make me cupcakes?"
"Sure. And pot pie. And buttermilk biscuits. And apple strudel. And--"
"How do you--"
Henchman cut the accusation short. "I know everyone of note's favorites. It was my job. Which was a pretty significant job if you ask me."
"You mildly boost powers, so what?"
"That's not..." Whatever. Henchman wasn't in the mood for convincing someone who obviously didn't want to be convinced. "Nutrition is actually a very critical part of an escape. It keeps you alert, energized, and happy. And anyway, I'm pretty sure I've spent more time being inconspicuous than you have, especially when Supervillain first took over the underbelly. I can help organize things. Give advice." He fiddled nervously with a string on his sleeve. He needed this. "Like...for example, you're going to want to trade out that car. It's nice and all but ultra-trackable. Pretty sure Supervillain has a way to hack cameras."
Villain pressed her lips together so tightly it looked painful. "Fine."
"To which part."
Villain waved her hand in the air and strode for the door. "Fine, you can come, and fine, we'll get a new car. But we're making a shopping run first. I left in a rush. So start thinking of things you need."
Henchman trotted grinning after her. “Flour, sugar, baking powder—”
"Not that. There will be no baking."

OMG IGNORE THE OTHER ASK ME I MEANT MORE BIG BROTHER SUKUNA ur first one was rlly good (poor yuji) but it was rlly good 😜
summary: being with sukuna is like riding a seesaw. good thing his sweet, younger brother, yuji, is there to hear about your problems and be a shoulder to lean on. too bad you don't feel the same for him.
a/n: a part two! i wanted to continue with the band au thing that I wrote about in the first part. i was rewatching victorious and oml jade and beck is kinda of what i picture y/n and sukuna being like (but like more intense). song used is "you don't know me" by Elizabeth gillies (the actress for jade) (here's the link)
warning(s): mentions of toxic relationship, sexual acts!!, leading on (mostly on yuji's part), one-sided feelings (again on yujis part I'm sorry bb), mentions of manga characters not yet introduced in the anime (yorozu and kashimo hajime)
"I told you that I don't want you talking to her anymore! She keeps fucking flirting with you, and I don't like it!" you yell at Sukuna, and like always he rolls his eyes at your antics. Scoffing, you cross your arms and wait for Sukuna to say something, anything at this point to ease your worries.
"Yeah, and I fucking told you that you're overreacting. Yorozu's always like that," he replied, his face pulled into a nasty scowl, his eyes narrowing into a cold gaze. His words do little to ease your anger (or worry) and cause more rage to flare in you.
"Are you fucking kidding me? That's it? That's your excuse for her basically fucking herself on you the entire night?!" you scoff. You think back to how this whole fight started, and a deep pit at the bottom of your stomach starts to form.
Why hadn't you listened to your friends? They knew the type of guy Sukuna was and they warned you about getting involved with him. How someone like him would never allow himself to be tied down to one girl. How he wasn't "boyfriend" material at all.
And they were right. Even though your relationship with Sukuna had evolved past that of a one-night stand to the point where you'd see each other for dinner or even movies, that didn't stop him from basking in the attention of other girls, Yorozu specifically.
Ugh, you hated her the moment that Sukuna had introduced the two of you. The boom of the music that always filled you with a rush of adrenaline and energy seemed to dull as your eyes landed on the girl who clutched onto Sukuna's arm and pushed her boobs into his frame. Her love-sick eyes that always followed him and that ugly high-pitched laugh of hers set off something ugly in you.
The sound of the door opening makes the two of you turn. Yuji walks through the door, his gym bag slung on his shoulder and hair a little matte with sweat. His tired figure seemingly brightens up the second his eyes fall on you, and he's smiling oh-so sweetly at you. It doesn't last long as he notices how there are tears pricking the ends of your eyes and how your arms are crossed in anger.
He's quick to put his gym bag down, head over to you, and place a hand on the small of your back. "You ok? Did Sukuna say something rude to you?" he asks, his voice and eyes filled with nothing but sincere worry and softness.
Sukuna's quick to scoff, and before he knows it, he shoves Yuji away from you. "She's fucking fine," he spits out. Without another word, he turned on the ball of his feet and headed towards his room. His door-slamming echoes throughout the apartment, and with him gone, you finally let your tears fall.
Strong, warm arms are quick to wrap around you as you let your head lean on Yuji's shoulder. Small hiccups leave your lips as Yuji whispers sweet nothings into your ears and rubs comforting circles into your back. "I-I just need to go. I'm sorry, Yuji," you say and quickly step out of his arms and grab your bag from the couch.
"I'm always here for you if you need anything," the pink-haired boy says, and there's a strange tug at your heart. A small and quick 'thanks' is all you can muster before rushing out and away from the apartment.
"You think you're so funny, huh?" Sukuna sneers at you, his eyes glaring down into yours as he holds your wrists together. His leg pushes between your thighs, and a whimper falls from your lips as you feel the familiar hot warmth pulse throughout your body.
"Do-Don't know what you're ta-talking 'bout," you manage to say, lying straight to Sukuna's face. It seems you both know that you're lying, and he lets out a deep chuckle as he lowers his lips to bite into your shoulder. A yelp escapes your lips before you try to hold back a moan.
"Really? So, you weren't throwing yourself on Kashimo like some slut?" Sukuna says back. Your eyes narrow into a glare as your gaze meets his. You can feel his boner pressing into your thigh, and you hate how you can feel yourself getting wet.
"Fuck you," you spit at him, and he laughs again.
"That's the plan, darling."
"Are you sure you are good to go on, y/n? You look like shit," Shoko says, a cig hanging from her lips. A puff of smoke follows, and you grimace as you try to wave it away from you.
"I'm good. Just kinda tired," is all you say, and Shoko doesn't look entirely impressed with your answer. She sighs before putting her cig out and holding your hand in hers.
"Maybe it's time you put an end to whatever you have with Sukuna," she whispers quietly enough so that Satoru and Suguru don't hear it (even though you're pretty sure they're listening in anyway since they, too, are worried about you). And you hate how she says it, "whatever." Shit, you hate that it accurately sums up the relationship between you and Sukuna. Because, in truth, you don't know what you and Sukuna are anymore. You two argue, you fuck, you go out to parties together and then go back to arguing. You don't remember ever having fun together like you did in the beginning. Instead, you've gotten so used to your routine that you've begun looking forward to what happens sometimes after you argue.
How when Yuji comes back to the apartment, and you and Sukuna are in the middle or nearing the end of a yelling match, he'll whisk you away and look at you with those love-filled eyes. How he'll tell you some stupid story that happened to him and his friends, or how he'll take you to the nearby ice cream shop in hopes that it'll cheer you up. How your heart feels much heavier every time you say goodbye to him, and you catch a glimpse of his red, rosy cheeks.
You know that Yuji likes you, but not in a friendly way. No, that he genuinely wants to be in Sukuna's place. He wants to treat you so much better than his older brother does. And you know he would, but you simply can't feel the same for him. No matter how much ice cream you eat or how many stories he tells you, your heart doesn't beat the same for him as it does for Sukuna. And you feel so incredibly guilty about how you let him take you away from your big-bad-scary 'whatever' and act like the two of you are together.
With a huff, you stand up and down the rest of your drink before smiling back at your bandmates. "It's almost time for us to go on."
How fucking shameless can Sukuna be? you think as your gaze sweeps the crowd and lands on him and his friends. Uraume (who you actually like and you think likes you back) is bobbing their head to the beat of the current song while Mahito cheers wildly (he's so wasted) and Hajime is sipping on his drink, and of course, Yorozu is wrapped all around Sukuna.
His eyes aren't on her, though. No, they're staring straight back into yours, and you hate how, after all this time, it still sends a shiver down your spine. The world seems to fade away as you finish the last line of the song, and you're turning to bandmates. "We're doing the new one," is all you say, and they're quick to grin back at you and follow your request.
You think you know me but you don't know me You think you own me but you can't control me You look at me and there's just one thing that you see So listen to me, listen to me!
Your grip on the mic tightens as you push your hair out of your face, a flush rising on your neck. The crowd seems to roar even louder.
You push me back, I push you back, harder, harder You scream at me, I scream at you, louder, l-l-l-l-louder I'm dangerous, I'm warning you But you're not afraid of me and I can't convince you You don't know me
Sukuna shoves Yorozu off his arm as he takes a couple steps forward. There's a smirk growing on his face as your eyes meet again, and there's an ugly but warm pleasure that spreads throughout your body.
And the longer that you stay, the ice is melting And the pain feels okay, it feels okay, hey
You think back to all your arguments with Sukuna, and for a second, you wonder if that's what love really is. Is it supposed to leave you feeling overwhelmed and enraged to the point where you feel too addicted to that same feeling? Well, whatever you think. Maybe it's not supposed to feel that way to other people, but to you and Sukuna, that's what makes the two of you work.
All the pain and yelling is what keeps your hearts beating for one another, and maybe it's toxic and not right. But who cares.
You push me back, I'll push you back You scream at me, I'll scream at you louder, louder Louder, louder, louder, louder Louder! Louder! Louder
Maybe you're both messed up to keep 'whatever' going on, destroying one another and then rebuilding one another through sex. Maybe you're more messed up for dragging poor, innocent Yuji into your hideous cycle. For making him think that perhaps one day you'll wake up and throw yourself into his arms.
You push me back, I push you back, harder, harder You scream at me, I scream at you, louder, l-l-l-l-louder I'm dangerous, I'm warning you But you're not afraid of me and I can't convince you
Poor Yuji, having feelings for someone who already seems to be taken by his cruel older brother. He watches you sing your heart out and shine so beautifully that he knows the flush on his cheeks isn't from the alcohol. He notices that your eyes always seem to go back to the same spot, and as he turns his head, his heart drops as he sees Sukuna standing there, his cheeks flushed a deep red and grin now replacing his smirk.
He watches the spark grow brighter between the two of you, and every nerve in his body tells him to leave. But he can't, not when he starts to see a love-filled grin start to spread on your face.
His heart seems to come back to life as it beats faster while he watches you perform. Someone bumps into him, and then he's brought back to the reality that your gaze and grin aren't directed at him.
And I don't have to, I think you know me

cold chocolate - kim seungmin
˚ ༘ pairing bf! seungmin x fem! reader
˚ ༘ genre fluff, angst!!, seungmins a bit of a meanie :(
˚ ༘ wc 3.4k
˚ ༘ note never writing smth this long (okay 3k words☠️) again idfk how sum ppl do it😭 sorry if this bad guys i cant write rlly good🦦merry xmas!!!
"hey y/n can you come out here?" seungmin called to you from your guys' living room.
"yea whats up babe?" you went over to the couch and sat next to him.
"promise you wont be mad?" he looked at you and raised a brow while grabbing your hand.
"oh god seungmin what did you do now?" you chuckled. obviously you thought that whatever he was going to tell you wasn't that shocking and he was just exaggerating, but you were so wrong.
"no y/n this is serious."
"o-oh okay. uhm whats wrong?" you were starting to get nervous now. does he want to break up? did he cheat on you? a million thoughts raced through your head but not one of them was what he was about to tell you.
"i'm not gonna be home for christmas.." he said it so casually as he looked down in his lap.
"oh."
now usually missing holidays wouldn't be such a problem for you two, except christmas. you guys dont really celebrate anything other than valentines, chuseok, and birthdays, sometimes you guys dont even celebrate birthdays. but christmas? it was a must. you were going to go back home to your family with him for the first time. he had even said yes. now all of a sudden he cant? whats more important?
you inhaled a shaky breath and asked, "why?"
"well you know, we have practice to do, and we have to record some things. so i'll be staying at the dorms." he shrugged and let go of your hands. thinking you were fine.
now that pissed you off. practice? recording? he couldn't skip one week of work for christmas? he was never like this, he has never put his work over you.
"seriously seungmin?. you cant just skip a week of work for christmas? you're putting 'some practice' over me?" you looked up at him with an open mouth.
"no y/n, i cannot." he glared at you. why was he giving you attitude all of a sudden? its not like you're the one who will be missing christmas.
"care to explain why?" you crossed your arms.
"dont you get it y/n? my work is harder than yours, you literally do nothing but sit down at a desk all day and book peoples appointments," he slowly started to raise his voice. "you dont get it all. i cant just be home all the time to give you attention. since when were you so clingy?"
you stood up from the couch and backed away from him, scared of him yelling at you. were you really that annoying? your eyes started to water.
"seungmin wh-why are you getting so mad? i'm just asking you to take a week off for christmas, im sure they'll let you. beside you need a break too." you said while looking down, trying to avoid eye contact so he couldn't see your tears.
"i'm mad because you're annoying! i dont want to take a week off. i cant be with you all the time y/n. leave me alone." he turned to the tv and turned it on, acting as if nothing happened.
at this point there were tears running down your face. how could he be so rude and say something like that? sure you guys have had arguments before and said things, but never like this. he the level-headed one in the relationship. he always keeps his cool during arguments because he knows how upset you get.
maybe it is your fault though. maybe you ask for too much attention and let him do all the work in the relationship. maybe you should leave him alone until christmas is over.
"okay. i'm sorry that im too clingy. i'll just leave" you turned around on your foot to go get your backpack with all your things. you'll stay with a friend or something. maybe you were overreacting a bit but you didn't really care, how could your boyfriend just ditch family plans for christmas like that?
"yea whatever, i dont care" and he dismissed your statement just like that.
now that hurts.
one of your best friends since you were 5, areum, was jeongins girlfriend. you and her were out one day and saw the two of them together, jeongin asked for aerums for her number first and seungmin asked you out a few weeks later. the rest is history.
you just arrived to aerums house and she graciously welcomed you in. seeing the tear stains on your face and your nose red, she figured you had walked here. she was correct. on the way out of your and seungmin's shared apartment, you had forgotten your car keys. but by the time you realized you were already too far down and didn't want to go back up to grab them, especially because seungmin would probably still be in there.
"so? tell me what happened babes" she guided you over to her couch and sat down next to you.
you explained what had happened and she fully agreed with you on your view of the whole thing. i mean, if he already said yes to the plans, why would he switch up all of a sudden? and seungmin would usually take a sick day or soemthing if you asked, he cared about you a lot. you're not saying that he has to prioritize his work over you, but the least he could do was tell you in a nice way or just take a few days off for christmas.
"but wait. that doesn't make sense.." aerum furrowed her eyebrows.
"huh? why?" you looked up at her.
"jeongin said that they have a little christmas break or something like that. i mean, we aren't going anywhere but he said that the boys have no schedules and practices," she looked at you nervously. "do you think that maybe seungmins lying to you?"
well he definitely is, theres no question about that. you just didn't want to believe that he would actually lie to you about something like this.
"n-no he would never..," you looked down in your lap. "oh my god he doesn't want to see my family. he probably thinks i'm rushing into it right? but we were supposed to go to his parents house after that, how is that fair?" you were coming up with all these excuses to not make him look like the bad guy in this situation but there really isnt any. he lied to you and called you cling and annoying. thats the hard truth.
"hey hey calm down its okay," aerum side hugged you and started rubbing your shoulders. "i'm sure it's just a little problem with miscommunication hm? it could be fixed like this." she snapped her finger.
"y-yea of course." you hiccuped. "can i just stay here for the night though? i don't feel like going back yet." you looked up to aerum with wide, teary eyes.
"aw of course honey." she squished your cheeks. "go shower and i'll get some food ready for us. we can watch a movie." she smiled at you and tapped your back to usher you to the bathroom.
you smiled and agreed with her and went to shower. turning the water to borderline boiling so you could release all your thoughts.
you put on some of aerums spare clothes and stepped out of the bathroom and walked to the main room. she had the movie 'home alone' waiting to be played on the tv. she knew it was your favorite christmas movie.
aerum saw you step out and turned her head back over the couch to face you with a big smile on her face, beckoning you to go and sit next to her. you could see a plethora os sugary and salty snacks sitting on the little coffee table in the middle of the room. she really knew how to cheer you up.
you guys ended up watching both home alone movies and ate almost all of the snacks. you guys also fell asleep next to each other on the couch. which was typical for the two of you when you ahd movie nights.
you were the first one to wake up the next morning. rubbing your eyes and aerums foot being the first thing you see was not so pleasant. the sun was shining through the window and you could hear the bustling city of seoul outside. what time was it?
you sat up from the couch while gently taking aerums leg off of your lap. you bent down to grab your phone to see that the time was..2 PM?!?!? seungmin must be worried sick!
you turned to the side and looked at aerum sleeping so peacefully. a little drool coming out the side of her mouth.
"aerum! hey! hey! wake up! it's 2'oclock!" you violently shook her shoulders.
she hummed and swatted your hands away from her body. telling you to shut up.
"as much as i would love to stop doing this i still love you and you have work today. so...get. up." at this point she had opened her eyes and you were staring straight into them.
"oh my god! i have work!" she kicked the blanket off her feet and scrambled to get up off the couch. running to her bathroom to go shower and get ready.
"hey wait! i was gonna go in there!" you chased after her but to no avail. she had already got in and locked the door.
"i know you have boyfriend problems right now but im already late for work! which one is worse y/n?" you could hear her starting to turn on the shower.
"fine, you win." you lightly kicked her bathroom door in anger.
you headed to the kitchen and opened the fridge, looking for ingredients to make breakfast for the two of you. there was nothing inside the fridge except some eggs, bread, butter, and milk. how did aerum and jeongin even survive in this house? at yours and seungmin's apartment, the food inside the fridge and pantry is always stocked. you guys go grocery shopping together too, just to make running errands a little more fun. sometimes he would ride the cart trying to run away from you or sneak in some extra snacks that you guys certainly didn't need to spend so much money on. but thats what made it fun. those little quirks are why you loved seungmin.
as you were reminiscing on those little memories, you heard a door to the apartment open. looking towards it, you saw jeongin walk in. since you started tearing up thinking about yours and seungmins relationship, you quickly wiped them when jeongin came a little closer to you.
"y/n? oh my god! seungmin is so worried about you! you should go to him. like now." he looked genuinely concerned.
"y-yea i should haha," you looked towards the eggs cooking on the stove. "just make sure you keep on eye this food though. me and aerum woke up late so while she showered i figured i could make me and her some food. but i'm leaving now. also you guys should really go grocery shopping." you laughed at him while packing up your things.
he frowned at you and opened the fridge "hey it's not that b-maybe it is..."
aerum walked out of the bathroom wrapped up in a towel and looked at you wide eyed. she heard you talking to yourself so she decided to come out.
"damn babe" jeongin turned towards aerum and looked at her while raising his eyebrows.
"jeongin! what are you doing here! you weren't gonna be back until like...2...oh." she looked at the clock and now realized it was 3. "oh my god i'm gonna get fired!!"
"chill out aerum, i'm sure one day won't do anything" you chuckled at her over exaggeration.
"okay y/n listen," she went up to you and put her hands on your shoulders, staring you dead in the eyes. "you back in your apartment and be very clear to seungmin that you're sad and man and whatnot. be confident and don't cry." she pursed her lip at you.
"okay! got it. now go finish getting ready so you can leave before jeongin makes you stay!" you winked at her and left her apartment.
you were in front of your apartment door, giving yourself a pep talk about why you shouldn't be scared to go in there and confront seungmin. communication is key right?
you opened the door and were met with an empty house, no sign of seungmin anywhere. maybe he was sleeping? they didn't have any schedules today if you recalled correctly.
you walked towards your guys' shared bedroom and opened the door to be met with a sad sight. it was seungmin, curled up in the bed, holding onto your pillow. he seemed to be asleep and you didn't want to wake up him up. you were still mad at him, but the sight made your heart clench.
you went to your dresser and set your bag down. then you went to the bathroom to do your skincare routine since you hadn't gotten the chance to do so at aerums place. seems as though that woke seungmin up because next thing you know he's walking up to bathroom door that you forgot to close. you saw him behind you in the mirror.
"y/n?" he came closer to you and wrapped his arms around you. "i-i thought something happened to you when you left, i got really worried y'know..."
"well, i'm fine see? no need to worry." you unwrapped his arms from around your waist and stepped away from him. you appreciated the gesture but he's acting so normal, as if nothing happened between you two.
"oh...okay." he got the memo that you wanted to be left alone, so he left the bathroom. this time closing the door.
you were conflicted. you were mad at seungmin and he really hurt you. plus, the holidays were coming up and you didn't want to be in a sour mood for it. but at the same time, you could see he felt bad. him just initiating physical contact and being the first one to talk said a lot.
you see, both you and seungmin were both very prideful people. that means that when the two of you argued, instead of being normal and talking it out a few hours later. you guys stretched it on for 1-2 days before either of you came to apologize. communication was something your and seungmin's relationship was heavily lacking.
you decided that you would wait for seungmin to speak to you. and if he doesn't then well, you'll cross that bridge when you get there.
once you finished up in the bathroom, you made your way out to your bedroom and saw that seungmin was curled up on the bed with his phone.
"thought you had practice seungmin?" you crossed your arms and raised your brow.
"o-oh well you know i decided to skip today because i was so worried about you and i was waiting for you to come home." he made up an excuse.
"well im fine so, you should probably get going now." you patted his back and shooed him away.
you guessed that was his breaking point because then he turned around to face you with tears in his eyes and said
"y/n please...i'm sorry. i lied okay? i don't have any schedules or practice for the next whole week." he looked down in shame.
you already knew that so it wasn't that much of a shocker. but it really hurt coming from him.
"why would you lie to me seungmin?" tears were now starting to well up in your eyes. "i'm sorry if i rushed you into meeting my parents. it's just that we've been together for 2 years and you never got to see them except on calls so i thought it would be a nice trip for us...." you wiped your tears.
"no love trust me thats not the reason at all." he sat down next to you in the bed and took your face in his hands.
"so then why did you lie to me and call me clingy and annoying?" he winced when you mentioned what he called you. he really didn't mean to. he doesn't think that about you at all. it came out of nowhere.
"because y/n....i was scared to meet them. i thought that maybe they would think i wasn't good enough for you." he looked down in his lap.
"seungmin why on earth would you think that? my parents already love you and they've seen you on call. they practically adore you." you took his face in your hands now. "seungmin no one would ever think that about you. you're perfect in so many ways and you deserve me just as much as i deserve you, if not more."
"y/n how can you say that when i said all those things?" he was referring to when he called you clingy and annoying.
"because i know you didn't mean it baby. it did hurt a lot, but it's nothing you can't make up for." you smiled at him. "i know you've been a little stressed with all the end of year activities and stuff. but you're getting a break now! enjoy it."
"i just feel so guilty for lying to you and saying those things y/n, i truly am sorry. how can i make it up to you?" he looked at you wide eyed.
"cuddles and kisses. but we can do that after we pack since we're leaving in 2 days." you giggled.
seungmin pulled you by your waist into a hug and kissed the top of your head. "you know i love you a lot y/n, right?"
"yes i know that baby, i love you too" you smiled up at him. "now! lets get to packing!" you got up from the bed and started pulling clothes out of your drawers. seungmin groaned, not wanting to get up from the bed.
it was christmas eve and you and seungmin were at your parents house. they were thrilled to see him and loved him very much. not failing to make him feel very deserved.
you guys were all sitting in the living room and it was 11:30 pm. your parents decided they would go to sleep and give you two some alone time. you guy's both said goodnight and waited for them to leave until you started talking.
"so, having a good time so far?" you turned sideways to face seungmin.
"of course, the best time even." he smiled at you. "wanna watch home alone? i know it's your favorite and we didn't get to watch it back at home."
"yes! i'll go make some hot chocolate for us." you hopped off the couch and made your way to the kitchen to boil some milk.
it's been about five minutes and the milk was still boiling. seungmin came into the kitchen to keep you some company. he walked over to where you were by the stove and wrapped his arms around your waist from behind.
"could this thing be any slower?" he whispered right into your ear.
"ugh, i know right. i don't even care anymore," you turned off the stove. "we can have cold chocolate i guess." you started pouring the milk into yours and seungmins cups.
"anything is good when i'm with you." he kissed the side of your neck and swayed you side to side.
you giggled and turned around towards him and said "awww look at you being all flirty" you teased.
he shrugged his shoulders. "it's the christmas spirit i guess."
you then looked at the digital clock behind seungmin and it read 11:59.
"oh seungmin look!" you point behind him at the clock. "it's almost christmas! in five....four....three....t-"
he pulled your face towards him and brought you in for a kiss. he rested his hands on your hips and then pulled away. you looked up at him with wide eyes.
"man, i wish it was christmas everyday if you're gonna act like this"
he chuckled. "merry christmas y/n." he pulled you into his chest and rested his chin on your head.
"merry christmas seungmin."

Daddy's little Trooper🎖️
Summary: Nadia (Daryl and y/n's child) gets hurt, and she pushes through, much to Daryl's expense.
Era: post terminus, pre hospital
Fandom: the walking dead
It was cold. Daryl had scouted out a hut with Beth, after the prison fell. He had lost rick, Glenn, Maggie.. and his wife and kid. He was fuming. He felt like the world was against him. Everything just failing, making his life extremely hard.
They had settled in what looked like an alcoholics bunker of some sort, finding stashes of vodka and spirits. He was slightly drunk, he had to admit.
It wasn't long after the argument with Beth over the whole 'Never have I ever been to prison,' bullshit. He had calmed down, and was talking to Beth on the little, cracked up porch at the back of the shack.
"Hmm. You're lucky you're a happy drunk." Daryl said, resting his head on the wooden pillar behind him.
"Yeah, I'm lucky. Some people can be real jerks when they drink."
"Yeah, I'm a dick when I'm drunk.." He said, taking another swing of his quite nasty bottle. Beth sighed, and looked up at him. Twigs snapped. Daryl grabbed his crossbow, peering out over the dark woody forest. "Go inside, now." He said, aiming his crossbow at the treeline, waiting for a walker to stumble out. Or maybe a dozen. Beth curried inside, shutting the door.
Something stumbled out. But it wasn't a walker. It was Nadia. Daryl's baby girl. Nadia was around 6. Long, brown hair, and bright blue eyes. She was the girl version of her old man. Daryl rushed over, scooping her up.
A warm, red substance coated the calloused palms of his hands. It was blood. Nadia's blood. His stomach dropped. He thought of the worst: 'did she gets bit? Did she get stabbed? Is she gonna turn?'
He darted inside, slamming the door behind him, and placing her on the old, leather couch that seemed to be holding together by a thread. "Beth! I need help!" He shouted, and Beth came to his aid with the med kit they had gathered up.
He ripped her shirt up, discovering what looked like an arrow wound straight through her side. He winced, having felt this exact pain back at Hershel's Farm, where he fell down that hill and got an arrow stuck in his side too.
"shit!!" He cursed, scrambling to wipe the blood away. Nadia was unfazed. Like it was nothing. She was a little shocked, but nonetheless fearless. She looked at him as if he was overreacting. He grabbed a bandage, wrapping it around her as quick as he could.
"Really papa? It's not tha' bad." She says, eating a protein bar she had found. Daryl looked at her dumbfounded. "What the hell are ya' talkin' bout? Ya coulda died, sunshine!" He said, Beth giggling in the corner. Daryl sat her upright, Nadia wincing a bit. She continues to nibble on the bar. "I'm fine papa. You taught me real good." She exclaims, finishing the food. "You're mah little trooper huh?" He said, poking her non-punctured side.
"Daddy's little trooper."

FAILURE (a jacnoah oneshot)
Credits to @sigmxnd for the name!!!
Jacques stepped out of the taxi, dragging his feet along the pavement as he wandered back to his and Noah's apartment. This was it, he had lost. Lost on the most important day of his life, his second chance. And he had fumbled it. At least it wasn't as bad as the last time, he hadn't dropped Josee on her head this time, that was certainly an improvement. But he had tripped, he had slipped, and he had fell. God, Noah would be so disappointed in him. He didn't even look him in the eyes as he stepped into their cramped apartment and dumped his suitcase on the ground, skipping past Noah - who was sitting on the couch - and walking directly into his bedroom.
"Woah woah woah, where are YOU going?" Noah raised an eyebrow, slowly getting off the couch and following after Jacques.
"Oh, you want to know, do you?" Jacques replied, matching Noah's snark, still avoiding his gaze.
"Oh COME ON. This is about the Olympics isn't it? It really doesn't matter much if you failed, I don't care." Noah crossed his arms, rolling his eyes at Jacques.
"WELL IT MATTERS TO ME!" Jacques yelled before slamming the door in Noah's face. Noah just didn't get it. He never would.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the next few weeks Jacques was distant, locking himself in his room every night and forcing Noah to sleep on the couch. He had started eating and talking less as well, worrying Noah more and more each day. He rarely even glanced at Noah, rushing to his room the second he got home.
Noah decided to attempt to talk to Jacques for once, it had been weeks, surely he was over it now? Noah would have been, I mean, it didn't matter THAT much.
As Noah lifted his fist to knock on the door, he hesitated. He had to be careful about what he said as to not offend Jacques. He didn't want to trigger him and cause him to be even more distant than he already was. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
"Jacques? You in there?" He called out, even though he already knew what the answer would be.
"Leave me alone, I do NOT want to talk right now." Jacques yelled back.
Noah sighed, he didn't want to argue back. "Can I come in?"
Jacques looked up at the door, weighing his options. On one hand, he really wanted to talk with Noah, on the other hand, he didn't want to make what was happening any worse.
"Alright."
Jacques got up and unlocked the door, finally making eye contact with Noah for the first time in weeks. He didn't immediately look away, that was a start.
Jacques held open the door and Noah stepped inside, briefly glancing around the room and muttering "i missed it here".
They sat down on the bed, Noah started tapping his foot on the ground as he looked at Jacques, his gaze softening.
"What's up with you?"
"What's up with ME? You know what's up with me, Noah."
"Still mad about the Olympics, huh."
"Of COURSE I am! Wouldn't you be?" Jacques pointed at Noah accusingly.
"Not really." Noah shrugged, pushing Jacques' hand away.
Jacques put his head in his hands. "Of course YOU wouldn't get it. You win at everything."
"No way! I lose all the time. I'm just chill about it."
"Oh really? Have you ever failed a test?"
"No..."
"Exactly! I failed on the most important day OF MY LIFE." Jacques yelled before taking a deep breath.
"Okay, I get that, no need to yell."
Jacques clenched his fists. He hated how nonchalant Noah was being. He didn't get it, he didn't get HIM.
"Sorry for overreacting."
"No, it's fine. I- I get it." Noah placed a hand on Jacques's thigh, trying to calm him.
Jacques flinched. He wasn't used to being touched. "Stop it."
Noah removed his hand, placing it by his side on the bed. "Alright, my apologies."
"I don't think I'm ready to talk right now."
"Oh COME ON. It's been weeks and you STILL aren't ready? Good god you're difficult."
"I am NOT difficult! You just don't get me."
"Jacques, just tell me-"
"NO."
"Well fine, be like that then." Noah got up and left.
Jacques lay back on the bed and groaned. He had messed everything up again. He couldn't talk to him now, he was still mad. He'd have to wait another few weeks, he'd screwed up. Again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just as Jacques was about to come out of his shell, he had started isolating himself again, leaving Noah some time to think. How much had it really meant to Jacques, it WAS the most important day of his life, but Noah still couldn't understand how Jacques hadn't moved on yet. Noah would've, but he had started to realise that Jacques wasn't him. He dealt with things differently, he couldn't just move on. As he started thinking, he realised he NEEDED to talk to Jacques again, it had been weeks since their argument.
Noah got off the couch, noticing that Jacques' bedroom door was slightly ajar. He opened the door further and peered inside, seeing a lump under the covers. He assumed that was Jacques, he called out to him.
"Jacques? You in there? I wanna talk."
Noah saw the lump shift as Jacques sat up in bed.
"Alright, fine." He mumbled.
"Good." Noah sat down on the bed across from Jacques, looking into his eyes.
"I'm sorry." Noah's voice was a lot softer than usual as he reached his hand out to touch Jacques'.
Jacques' eyes narrowed, he wanted to say something snarky in return but he didn't have the energy.
"Yeah."
"I know that look," Noah sighed, "I understand why you're mad."
"Do you?"
Noah rolled his eyes but kept his voice soft.
"Yes, it took me a while, I know. It means a lot to you-"
"OF COURSE it does! EVERYONE saw it, everyone saw my failure." Jacques curled up in a ball.
"I get that, but it doesn't matter to me, I still love you."
"But I'm a disappointment! How can you love me like this...?" Jacques looked down at Noah.
Noah put his hand on Jacques' knee. "Jacques, you are wonderful. You can and will do great things, that just... Wasn't your day, and it doesn't make me love you any less."
Jacques looked up as he felt Noah's hand cup his face. He felt tears rolling down his face. Noah chuckled as he wiped his tears.
"Hey, me telling you the truth isn't anything to cry over." He teased.
Noah squeaked as Jacques pulled him close and hugged him tight, showing no hint of ever letting go.
"I love you..." Jacques sobbed into Noah's shoulder.
"I love you too."

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤVAMPIRE .. !
where you made a real big mistake, but Miles made the worst one look fine.
inspired by Oliva Rodrigo lyrics.
pairing: e42!aged up!Miles x reader
genre: angst, no comfort.
warnings: infidelity, both of them are 19, cursing, Miles being toxic
a.n: hi guys! i haven't posted day 2 of my writing challenge so here it is! i'll post twice today to make up to it, and i'm already working on it! love y'all, enjoy! xoxo.
taglist form
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤPLEASE CONSIDER REBBLOGING!
you hadn't heard from Miles in days. sick worried, you had talked to all of his friends, and all of them would just shrug you off, and you knew something was wrong. you knew that it wasn't exam season at college, so why was he avoiding you? leaving you on delivered every day, not answering your calls, nothing. it was like you never met each other. until you got a text from an unknown number: a picture of Miles kissing another girl. the one girl that would always say how cute you two were together, the one girl that Miles told you not to worry about. you just couldn't believe that, after all of that you've done for him, you ended up being the fool. you texted him that same day.
you: we gotta talk.
mi vida <3: im omw
you: bet.
(delivered at 3pm)
he showed up at your window in his prowler suit at 2AM while you were writing your daily diary entry.
"hey." he called, making you look up from your notebook. "you good?"
"yeah, i'm good."
he looked at you, and you could see that he wanted to tell you something. you knew him better than he did, and that was the worst part of it.
"spill it."
"i… i fucked up, ma."
he mumbled out, and immediately you knew what he was talking about. why he was so distant. why his mother was avoiding you, why even his uncle, who was never even nice to you, asked if you were okay this morning when you ran into him.
"fuck yeah, you did."
"i'm sorry, y/n, i really am-"
"no you're fucking not. don't bullshit me, Miles Gonzales Morales."
"can you listen to me first?"
"no! no, i can't! God, i can't believe how stupid i was."
"ma, you're overreacting."
"am i? am i overreacting when some random number text me a picture of my fucking boyfriend kissing the one girl i was insecure about?"
"it was a one night stand, ma, i made a mistake! i love you!"
"no, Miles, i made a mistake. i made a real big one, and you made it look so fine!" you raised your voice, tears flooding your eyes. "and you can't love anyone, because that would mean you have a fucking heart!"
"c'mon, y/n, you're better than this. bet it was those crazy friends of yours that filled your head with that bullshit."
"don't you open your mouth to talk about them! they warned me! they told me you were bad news and you called them crazy like you did just now! God, i hate the way i called them crazy too…"
you leaned back, covering your face so he wouldn't see you crying. he walked to you, taking your hands and analyzing your face carefully.
"are you done? can i kiss you now?"
you scoffed, pushing him away
"is she better than me?" you mumbled, wiping the tears away.
"what?"
"is she better than me, Miles?
"you can't ask me that-"
"yes or no?"
he was silent, but you felt the energy shift.
"no one is better than you."
"it's incredible how you lie without flinching."
"listen to me-"
"get out of my fucking house."
"woah, who do you think you're talking to?"
"a stranger." you looked into his eyes, and you knew he knew it was over. "i hope you're happy, Miles. i truly do. but we both know that you'll never have another me."
he started to walk away, ego as shattered as your heart.
"thank God for that."
you took the ring out of your finger, placing it on his hands.
"we'll see about that."
you watched as he walked away, giving you one last look before leaving through the window. as you set down on your bed taking the notebook to write that down, you felt your eyes tearing up, and soon teardrops were staining the black ink that covered the pages. you knew that, eventually, Miles would regret that, but it would be too late.
this is so bad, i'm so sorry (-_-;) i hope y'all like it and let me know if you want a part two !! love y'all, xoxo!!

Whumpee who's never been sick before getting sick and either going "my throat has a tickle so I'm probably Dying and it's time to get really stressed and have an anxiety attack on the floor" or "Everything hurts so much I can barely sit up and I'm shaking really bad and my senses of smell and taste have deserted me but it's probably fine and I'm sure this is all normal and it'll sort itself out, don't want to overreact and worry everyone"
The first one is very much for a hypersensitive whumpee who tends to jump to the worst case scenario (potentially because they've been in a lot of bad situations and they can't handle it very well when any little thing goes wrong) while the second one is more for a whumpee who's very sheltered but also doesn't trust their own judgement/instincts and as a result is really weird.
"Am I going to die?" "Sweetheart it's just a fever. You'll be better before you know it." vs. "You can't even stand and you thought it was a normal cold?" "Well I've never had a cold before so how was I supposed to know this wasn't normal"
ooh i see this (and love it) and raise you "mean person on their team doesn't believe they're in pain or sick because they can't POSSIBLY experience pain. they have 0 sympathy until whumpee actually passes out and finally they're like "oh shit this is actually really bad"

AITA for how I reacted after I discovered my ex has herpes?
So I initially was quite sure that I was not the asshole in this situation, but my friend group, who are usually pretty level-headed, seem to be split about it. Thought I'd get some impartial opinions, because if I'm in the wrong, I want to try to make it better.
I (mid 20s, F) recently ran into my ex (mid 20s, F). Over the course of the conversation, she mentioned that she had a flare-up of cold sores. For those who don't know, cold sores are a symptom of HSV-1, or herpes. I asked if she was okay and how long she's been having them. Turns out she was diagnosed with herpes 10 years ago, and she knew she had it but didn't share that with me. Which means I was exposed during the 8 months we were together.
I asked her if she'd had any flare-ups while we were together. She said yes but that she'd taken precautions so it was fine. The thing is, I'm immunocompromised and also have eczema, which means that if I get herpes, it might be quite dangerous for me (encephalitis and eczema herpeticum, for instance).
I shared this with her and asked her if she could remember the specific dates of flare-ups when we were together and if she knew where I could get blood work done (I moved abroad a year ago and don't really know how that works here). She knew about my health conditions before we started dating.
She became upset and said that I was distressing her and accusing her of not caring about my health and trying to pass it to me on purpose.
I tried to say that I was sorry if it came across that way, and that I was just trying to get as much information as possible because of my immune issues. I also tried to add that she might consider sharing her condition with future partners. She raised her voice and said that I was trying to prevent her from moving on and living a regular life.
My perspective is that it was unfair of her not to tell me beforehand so I could take proper precautions in consultation with my healthcare specialist, and that it wasn't unreasonable of me to ask her for more information and to want to get blood work done right away.
Hers is that I'm overreacting and that asking her for the information and being worried about her having herpes is taking things too far and making her out to be a bad person.
Some of my friends agree with me, but the other half think that I shouldn't have asked her anything and just have gone to get tested because I should have seen that it would be an upsetting subject for her.
I'm open to whatever you all think because if I've been unfair to her then of course I want to apologize. Thanks for reading this!

Oooh build a fic! 5H 𓃱 ? :3c
(here ya go! :D lmao idk what this is :'D have some stupid flirting lol. under a cut bc it got a tiny bit longer)
-
Leon fucked up. He wasn't paying enough attention. Seeing what once used to be regular farmers wave pitchforks and sickles at him, their eyes crazed and red, just like in Spain, immediately sent him back there in his mind. For a moment, he couldn't even function. He froze, like a damn rookie, and although it was only for a second that was long enough for them to be ambushed.
The pitchfork had plunged straight through Piers' foot, as if his boots hadn't even been there, and was embedded deep into the ground. The movement had sent Piers falling onto his ass, which was a lucky break, as the sickle someone had thrown had ended up buried in the wall behind him instead of in his forehead.
By the time Leon had neutralized the threat and rushed to Piers, Piers was already trying to tug his foot free, and immediately Leon placed a palm on his knee to stop him. "Hey, let me," he grimaced as he looked at the two long spikes that had pierced through the foot, the rest just narrowly missing. "Fuck. I'm sorry."
Piers groaned, leaning back against his hands. "You're gonna be sorry if you don't get me free in a minute." He gave Leon a pointed look, and they'd been friends for long enough that Leon could interpret it as the forgiveness it was. He wasn't quite that ready to let himself off the hook, but now wasn't the moment to self-flagellate.
"I'm gonna need to pull it out," Leon said, but he just got a grunt and a nod. He took that as agreement, so he grabbed the pitchfork, giving it a good tug. It didn't budge, neither on the second try, but the third time Leon put all his weight into it and managed to slide it free.
The strangled cry Piers let out made Leon feel even guiltier. He knelt down, unlacing the boot to get it off. It was sweltering hot around them, if he would leave the wound untreated it would certainly get infected and lead to bigger problems. Piers just watched him, with a pinched look on his face, trying to breathe steadily, as Leon peeled the boot and then the sock off.
The first aid spray was their best bet, so Leon emptied half of the canister, trying to get the bleeding puncture wounds to close up. The smell of the spray wasn't the best even under normal circumstances, but in this sweltering heat it was somehow even worse.
Bad enough that Piers doubled over, barely managing to turn to the side before he threw up.
"You okay?" Leon asked, frowning a little as he knew it was a dumb thing to ask, considering. What he really wanted was to pull the plug on the entire operation, which he knew would be overreacting, but he couldn't shake the feeling either way. Watching Piers get hurt was several magnitudes worse than getting hurt himself.
Piers wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, pulling a face. "I'm fine. We can keep going." Experimentally he moved his toes, aiming for a smile that turned more into an awkward grimace. "See? Everything works!"
Exasperated, Leon sighed. He grabbed a wad of gauze, as it was pretty much the only thing that'd work, and bandaged the wounds the best he could. Then he took the now bloody sock, rolling it back over Piers' foot, trying not to hurt him any more than absolutely necessary. "Try not to get any more new holes punched into you before we're out of here."
"Oh, I already have the optimal number of holes," Piers said, easily.
Leon snorted. "I'd say a couple too many now." He pulled Piers' boot back on, even went on to lace it up for him, before he stood up and offered his hand for Piers. "Let's see if you can walk."
Without hesitation, Piers grabbed the offered hand, pulling himself upright. "As if I have any choice in the matter."
"If I need to, I will carry you out of here," Leon joked, although there was some truth to it. He wouldn't leave Piers behind, under any circumstances. And they both knew it.
"Oh," Piers teased. "Romantic." He winced as he set his foot down but he tried to cover it up. "I'd kiss you, but I literally just threw up."
Leon chose not to comment on the wince, letting Piers have this. Instead he just lifted his eyebrow. "Well. Later."
As soon as they'd get the hell out of here.
