After looking through the comment sections of numerous innocent meme/funny posts today, I’ve come to the conclusion that some people are so far deep in their own world that they will openly object to a stranger joking about inflicting a minor inconvenience on another (or pulling a prank on someone they do know) and would themselves respond with permanent life changing/taking action against said petty hypothetical/harmless offender. In essence saying “be nice or don’t be in this world” in a matter that is violent and detailed - clearly not a sentiment they extend to themselves.

heyyy gentlest reminder, my friends, that you do not have to disclose your trauma and mental illnesses to justify your age regression. it's perfectly fine to regress/dream "just because" and strangers are not entitled to your sensitive information/past just because they want to validate it FOR you. don't let anyone make you feel like you have to explain yourself just for coping/soothing/self-parenting in a way that feels good + healing for YOU. there is no criteria to meet to be yourself!

but also, it IS sensitive information and there are some people around the community especially predators who will use that information to get closer to you and/or hurt you. so please practice internet safety, be careful who you share your details with, and block ANYONE who doesn't seem right or play nice.

it didn't hit me as hard as i was watching, but hours later, this is still the moment i keep thinking about. it's scary and the presence of this sudden, unprecedented power feels creepy ("we're dealing with a bad mofo here." + "i saw it. [...] it's the end. we're dead. we're all dead." + "the sky bleeds, the ground quakes. it's cosmic."); but it's exhilarating as well. maybe he's one of good guys, as sam says. but he's definitely not nice and dean is entirely at his mercy.

which is great because i need it to talk about k tanaka dr k tanaka itsy bitsy xx_brokendream_xx and how they have always so aggressively reminded me of myself, from their first interactions with their parents to their most recent self-destructive tendencies. i need it to talk about how they’re depriving themself of basic needs because they have to feel as though any peace they have is earned and they’re constantly throwing their entire self into something new without thinking through the consequences—can we talk for just one second about how i expected at least a single person at that table to be horrified at how they splintered their mind—and their self-sacrificial nature is going to get them actually killed one day. i need it to talk about how erika and aabria have brilliantly used teddy and his deterioration/rehabilitation to show k’s internal struggle outwardly, to remind them that they have a physical body they also need to take care of, that they have people who care about seeing them happy and well, that it is not their responsibility to fix every problem they come across. i need it to talk about k’s inability to see their own self clearly, literally having to use magic to see their true reflection, because they are so bogged down by a feeling of inadequacy and responsibility and guilt that comes from within. i need it to talk about how erika manages to make me see my own true reflection in k, in their overwhelming empathy and endless compassion and alarming forwardness and how watching them perform on d20 is always like listening to my own voice played back to me—part of me cringes away from the honesty of it but i can’t help but keep listening.

Okay but why is no one talking about the disability/accessibility scene in Sex Education 4x7? This is just a snippet of what myself and so many of us face on a daily basis.

We get left behind and discouraged both by our friends and the system DAILY. Yeah, we get a bit of support, sometimes the system will give us a little pat on the back and our friends will stand by us - but do you all see how hard daily life actually is?

When you see us as normal and coping, ask yourself - what do we have to do to support ourselves to make you feel like we fit in with your version of “normal”?
