The gag is Zoro and Shanks aren’t that different. Zoro is also completely reckless with his body less so now but I have no doubt that even now if he needed to cut off any part of his body to win, to save his crew he would do it without hesitation just like shanks.

And the thing is Mihawk would still fight him as long as Zoro can pick up a sword Mihawk would still fight him and relish in it.

Zoro loses an eye, Mihawk still trains him.

And Shanks…..Shanks loses his mind a little bit

okay so the last thing i wrote was just a random sentence that popped into my head (it's not for any wip, and may never see the light of day anywhere aside from here) in the middle of my shift today and i scribbled it hastily on a post it (in a very disjointed format akjdfbjk) right before i got a call. so uh. i'll just flesh it into something comprehensible at least as i transcribe it now ahaha

ALSO please note this was conceived of by me thinking about how i love it when the end of a scene and the beginning of the next scene contrast. so that's the concept. even though i have no idea what's happening in either scene KJBSDKGJBFDBKJ

When I rewatched the second season some tid bits of dialogue got me thinking about the spider butler.

So "into the mouth of darkness" Doyle and Van Rook go after a guy named Baron Finster thats associated with Argost to maybe get some info on his past, yes they find out Argost had nothing but the cloak and mask but the other thing

Argost designed the scorpion lover body for Baron then he add that Argosts first option was more "organic"

Then in "And your enemies closer" Zak while controlling Munya tells Argost "I've always wondered how much cryptid spider DNA you put into him, I guess the answers enough"

So that got me thinking was Munya like Baron at first without legs, arms or just in a tough spot then Argost struck a deal, oooor he was a human that died and Argost brought him back to life all Frankensteins monster in this. (I mean he looks like the monster too, especially the human form)

After pondering I had a weird dream that involved the undead after that a scene of Argost and Munya where in the lake with subs like if they where in the first bit of "Van Rooks apprentice" seems like I'm sticking to the Frankensteins monster one xD

Adding some little things/headcanons

-Munya is more cryptid then human and probably because of that he is unable to speak

- "Munya" isn't actually his name Argost gave it to him.

U know the funny thing abt celes is that she is a normal person, but for reasons god only knows chose to develop the most questionable yet intriguing fake speech pattern of all time, and I imagine that after years of existing in that persona the language is undeniably interwoven w her regular voice and thoughts, but the amt of it thats present at any given moment depends on the situation her emotional state her age who she is surrounded by etc like. Lots to consider and is half of that incorporated into my fics in any meaningful way?? Prob not I just get to go insane abt it why is she Like that

Now that everyone can finally speak up about things they didn’t really like about the show and not get bashed to the end of the universe, Should I redo my post on all the reasons the show isn’t book accurate but fully fleshed out and going into detail? (my original post was a summary). It’ll take me at LEAST a few weeks to accumulate and will probably be my magnum opus.

i need to update thee wip post one day but might as well mention the new ones floating about:

kafhime siren & ship captain au: during a stormy night aboard her ship himeko falls overboard and is rescued to a deserted island by a siren kafka with very sharp teeth. fun indulgence. (might end up explicit i'm deranged) kafka/fu xuan pwp mayhem: look i just want to write them having indulgent sex again but with the added caveat that kafka taunts and goads fu xuan until fu xuan ties her up and doms her. kafhime university & phd au: not a single shred of plot just academia vibes. as a mature university student myself i've been thinking a lot abt class and age at university and been kind of itching for a while to write smth like they're both in their 30s in academia. while i'm inclined to have kafka doing an incredibly pretentious fine arts research project, himeko i'm more torn on. i know the simple solution is STEM but i'd lose a bit of interest writing that unless it was geology. (i'm not sure himeko is the type to bite rocks.) was toying around with fields like criminology, geography and literature for her instead. kokomi/yae. they've been writing letters for years. yae knows the erotic books kokomi orders from her publishing house and offers to make her dreams come true if she comes to narukami island...

and this is why you never ever finish a wip because three more will spring forth!!!
