I’m very sad to see Tumblr is jumping on the ai bandwagon honestly, but also I’m not remotely surprised. It’s getting harder and harder to find a bastion of creativity online these days, which is a lot of the reason I don’t share my original work anymore (I used to serialise stories on wattpad and fictionpress, but it’s no longer safe to do that).

I work hard on my writing. I pour so much of myself, my time, and my love into it. It infuriates me that I’m running out of places to share it, unless I want to monetise on platforms like Patreon and such (which I don’t, really).

Fanfiction has been the only creative outlet I have left if I want to share anything, and even that is becoming difficult to reconcile myself with when I know there are people downloading and feeding that work into these programs too, so they can belt out “their own” fics with minimal effort.

I’m not sure what the answer is, but I’ll no longer be sharing snippets or shorts here.

Also, there really needs to be rules and regulations for pitch quality in the women’s game.

It’s such a hazard to play on it especially with how volatile things are with ACL and ligament injuries and how little research is done.

If the pitch isn’t good, the match shouldn’t happen or should be postponed and moved to a better venue.

That pitch today was so dry they might as well have played the match on the beach.

The show is basically really shitty fanfiction at this point, and imo it’s always been a sexed-up cash grab that was not at all intended to cater to or satisfy long term book/games fans. It’s bullshit and I hate it lmao

At this point I’m just trying to stay grateful that it has inspired some people to read the books/play the games and they’ve realized how much better those are, and I feel like that’s a win enough for me😂

Tumblr could fix their video player if they wanted. But no, they keep making it worse. The most recent issue is with their AD videos taking over the audio. This shouldn’t happen. It shouldn’t happen with normal videos, it shouldn’t happen with Ad videos especially, because they show up unexpectedly. This is broken.
