They should make a fallout game set in Florida, it would be so funny, Sunshine Wasteland. The flamingos are not mutated for whatever reason. Radioactive swamps full of the most terrifying mutant crocodiles and alligators. A retirement home full of old ghouls who haven't stopped playing shuffleboard for the last 200 years. Raider gang full of Florida men.

TF2 Casual is still a bot wasteland (the petition's at 285k+ signatures currently and valve has said nothing) but every now and then you run into another real person which I consider a personal victory, haha. Under these conditions what else can you do, there isn't any other way to win! Shout out to you, CRINGE-ineer gaming, wherever you are.
Remember to go to save.tf and sign the petition if you haven't already! And if you still can lol. The bot hosters are big mad about the #fixtf2 tag right now from what I've been seeing in casual.

the way hozier titles a song "i, carrion (icarian)" where he sings about the self-destructive idea of sacrificing himself by flying into sun to save his relationship, and compares himself to 'carrion', the decaying flesh of animals, often a word used for roadkill. to then go and write a song called "abstract (psychopomp)" about how holding an animal whilst it dies mirrors the mercy of ending a failing relationship, similar to a 'psychopomp' - a deliverer of death. and we watch as hozier turns from 'icarian' to 'psychopomp' when he realises that prolonging suffering is crueler than just letting love die. i'm both in awe and crying on my bedroom floor.
and the way a carrion crow is also a symbol of death ?? and how 'carrion' sounds like 'carry on' the way icarus kept going ?? and how he sounds envious of his lover's courage in "abstract" ?? how when the sun is gone - "streetlights in the dark blue" - he can no longer blind himself and is forced to look at the corpse of his relationship ?? how to love is to let go ?? how can he keep getting away with this i'm sobbing ??

you know what. fermentation, smoking, canning, pickling, curing, drying, and other methods of food preservation have been popular since before the invention of modern technologies. as is milling grains for rice and bread. these are things that you can do as long as you know the process and have the proper tools.
with that in mind... why is eating 200 year old pre-war food still a viable option for people of the wasteland? by 2281, there are farms. there are ranches. the ingredients are there. the know-how and tools are there. the recipes are there! it's not as easy as just going to a supermarket, but y'know, there's also trade. do you want some bighorner jerky in exchange for brahmin tallow? hey, give me some canned mutfruit and i'll cook you the most delicious deep fried giant ant with garlic and chilies and some lime juice on the side. take this sourdough loaf and firegecko menudo before you go. i just!! there are so so many interesting options and instead we get bland steaks and meat on a stick!!! why is wasteland cuisine so boring!!!

Things that I know.
1. Yaoi is the opposite of yuri
2. According to tumblr, yuri seems to be just about anything, but I have most commonly seen it take the form of two inanimate objects in close proximity to one another. Eg minecraft furnace and crafting table, trains crashing into each other, etc.
Therefore, we can conclude that Yaoi is two inanimate objects that are very far apart from each other. The sun and the earth are yaoi.

Hmmm after rewatching furiosa yet again... rambling nonsense ahead...
That scene where Jack pulls the knife out of her shoulder, then pads it gently, is perhaps the closest thing to Wasteland Eroticism that we get.
She doesn't ask him to take it out, nor does Jack need permission to do so. He just reaches over and rips it out and she is *so relieved*, you can see it in her shoulders. Her entire upper half just gives in to relief.
And then he dresses it. I mean just barely, but it's more than he would probably bother doing for himself. He just slips a cloth under the padding there with a shove of his fingers, but he doesn't just move on with it. He rests his hand there for a moment, practically rubbing the shoulder guard, just as he kept his hand around her wrist longer than needed in the nightmare scene. Even as her breath slowed back to normal.
And we can tell how much it meant to Furiosa. I swear to fuck that she leans into his touch (could just be the movement of the rig). It's a promise that he'll be there to take care of it (for real) later. And, later indeed, before they introduce the hydroponics oasis cave thing, Jack touches her shoulder and nods and away they go. There is no way that that is the first time either of them had been there. The whole thing is a fucking allegory (perhaps also a fucking allegory. Wouldnt that be something?)
And the knife. Yet another reminder of the grueling hellscape they're in gets lodged in her shoulder. But Jack is there to take it out and dress it. Jack is there to help her keep her head on her shoulders. She knew he was going to take her to the oasis from the moment he pulled the knife out.
Do you think she looked forward to it?
