AU, where Bruce accidentally gets de-aged (physically and mentally), and the first person he bumps in is... Red Hood.
To Jason's defence, he didn't connect the dots at first. He was just patrolling around his usual turf, thinking of nothing in particular, when he saw a small child in a ridiculously serious suit, sulking around Crime Alley. He looks distraught, and considering that he looks rich, it is no surprise - that is not a place for him. So, he is either lost or something happened, right?
He takes the helmet off, as he usually does when he is dealing with kids (they got scared easily) and carefully approaches a brooding baby.
'Hey, shrimp. Where are your parents at?'
That said shrimp turns around, his big blue eyes looking confused and lost, and Jason thinks he looks awfully familiar.
'I am not shrimp,' he protests instantly, pouting at him. 'And they are somewhere... here. We just left the movie theatre together!'
Jason glances at the abandoned movie theatre, back at the little rich boy with a familiar frown, and it clicks. This is his fucking dad. Suddenly, a kid - but it is fucking Bruce Wayne, for sure.
'Was watching Zorro by any chance?' Jason still asks, just to be sure that he is not going insane.
Bruce - and it must be him - beams at him.
'Yes! This is a great movie, by the way.'
Oh, hell. At least, he didn't witness his parents' death just yet. Jason wasn't sure he would be able to deal with his father being so small, and mourning his mom and dad. He would probably cry himself at some point.
'Hey,' Jason calls out for him slowly, squatting down; God, who would've thought that this little shrimp would become so tall and big in the future. 'Aren't you... You must be Thomas's kid, right?'
Okay, yeah, Jason is going to lie to this kid. Because there is no way he manages just to steal Bruce as a stranger to bring him back home; it is still a kid, even if it is his father. Right?
'You know my dad?' Bruce tilts his head, little fingers tugging on the hem of his jacket; suspicious.
'You could say that,' Jason nods. 'Alfie... I mean, Alfred called me. Asked me to pick up a kid, since Thomas and Martha got an urgent call.'
Fuck his life and stupid life choices. What the hell he was even doing? He looked like a mugger; or like a psycho. But Alfred was his best bet - he could call him, after all; ask, well, support his idiotic made-up story.
'No one calls Alfred Alfie but my dad,' Bruce pouts in a very, very spoiled manner.
'Well... I do. We served together in the army,' he blurts out.
His armour, apparently, is enough a proof for the kid to nod slowly.
'Okay. But you gotta take off your strange mask first,' Bruce folds arms on his chest.
...???
Did this kid just agree for an unknown man to take him home? Like this? Who could've thought that this pouty child would become the most paranoid man alive in the future?
'Uh, why?'
'So I can remember your face and do an identikit, if you turn out to be a bad guy,' Bruce smirks stupidly. 'Duh.'
Jason is going to cry. This kid is so cute.
'Yeah, duh,' Jason huffs, but despite his better judgment takes the domino mask off as well. 'Go on, take your time. My identikit should be the prettiest, shrimp.'
Bruce... gawks at him. His eyes are comically wide now, mouth open, and then, he jumps a little closer to him - oh, God, he is jumping when excited? - putting his hellishly cold hands on Jason's cheeks.
'Woah. You look like dad.'
'Uh,' Jason nods awkwardly, and because he is an idiot, adds a joke: 'We are brothers, actually. Just don't talk much.'
...Apparently, little Bruce can't take jokes. Because he lets out an adorable gasp, and throws himself on Jason as if they knew each other for ages now.
'Uncle? That's so cool. You look like Zorro!'
Damn this little kid, and this stupid family. Damn Joe Chill and the night he killed this kid's parents. Damn it all. Bruce might be an asshole sometimes, but he was so... cute and innocent.
'Thanks, shrimp,' Jason slides a domino mask back on, picks up little Bruce with one arm, and grips a helmet with another. 'Come on, let's go home. Alfred will make your favourite tiramisu.'
'You know my favourites?!'
Jason sniffles.
'Yeah. Yeah, I do, kid.'
If he gets so emotional over this kid, he has no idea how worse Dick is going to be once he finds out.
Oh, this is going to be one hell of a night.

Tumblr media
Seriously just what did you get yourself into?
The first incident or “love letter” arrived onto your doorstep on a random Wednesday. It was just a soft pink envelope sealed with a heart-shaped sticker. At first, you thought it was for you until you saw the name of the girl in your english class. Maybe someone had the wrong dorm number. But when another letter shows up the next day, and then another, you start to realize two things:
1. Someone on campus has a serious crush problem.
2. You have somehow become their personal delivery service.
By Friday, you had a whole collection of letters meant for people you barely know. With no better plan, you start slipping them into the correct mailbox, dropping them onto desks, and handing them off with a whispered, “This is for you.”
Before you know it, people started calling you the ‘Campus Cupid’.
It’s kind of fun—watching couples get together, seeing people’s eyes light up when they read something sweet. That is, until you find his letter.
Lee Heeseungs letter. The guy with the lazy smile and unfairly good hair. The guy who always seems to be exactly where you don’t need him to be. The guy you have been crushing on way more than you meant to.
It was no surprise that he would get sent a letter. He was the darling of the campus, he was a charmer, talented in sports and without a doubt extremely handsome.
You examined the letter. It was morally right to give it to him… right?
Frowning, you place the letter in his usual seat. Just because you liked him didn’t mean you can take his right of knowing that someone else does.
The day passes without you thinking too much about the letter you placed on Heeseung’s desk. Or at least, you try not to think about it. It’s not like it matters, right? Someone else likes him. No big deal.
At least, that’s what you keep telling yourself.
But then, right after your afternoon lecture, Heeseung finds you outside the lecture hall, love letter in hand.
“Hey, Cupid.” His voice is casual, but there’s a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. He holds up the letter between two fingers. “Any idea who wrote this?”
Your heart stops.
You stare at the letter, forcing yourself to keep calm. You knew this would happen. Of course, Heeseung would be curious. You should just tell him you don’t know. That’s what you should do.
But something about the way he’s looking at you makes you hesitate.
Frowning, you take the letter from his hands, pretending to examine it like if you hadn’t stared at it for hours before handing it to him. But when you open it and your eyes scan the page, confusion settles in.
There’s no name. No initials. Nothing.
That’s strange. Most of the letters you’ve delivered always had at least a tiny clue. An initial, a signature, sometimes even a number with a name.
“What’s with that look? You must’ve seen who gave it to you, no?” Heeseung asks, raising a brow.
You look back at the letter, skimming over the heart felt words. It was weird intruding someone’s feelings like this but with Heeseungs intense stare you couldn’t say no. The letter said:
I don’t know when it started, but you’ve always been there. In the background, in the crowd, just close enough to notice, but never close enough to reach. It’s frustrating, liking someone like this. Sometimes I wish I never met you in that cafe because now you’re all I ever think about, I hope I can confront you someday.
Your stomach twists.
The handwriting. The way certain letters are slanted. The way some words are scratched out and rewritten.
It’s… familiar.
Too familiar.
Your breath catches.
Oh.
Oh no.
It was yours.
See, the first time you met Heeseung, it wasn’t in a lecture hall or at some college party—it was at a small cafe just off campus, the kind of place students flocked to for overpriced lattes and last-minute study sessions.
You had been there first, tucked into a corner seat with your laptop open and a half-empty cup of coffee beside you. The cafe was packed, the usual rush of students scrambling for caffeine before their next class, and you were too focused on your work to notice him walk in.
That is, until you heard a voice—smooth, slightly out of breath—directed at you.
“Hey, is this seat taken?”
You looked up, and that was the first time you saw Lee Heeseung up close.
Messy brown hair, a hoodie thrown over a plain t-shirt, dark eyes filled with something playful yet sleepy at the same time. You recognized him vaguely—he was in one of your general electives, though he always sat near the back, half-hidden behind his laptop. He was the kind of guy people noticed without him even trying, whether it was because of his reputation on the basketball team or just the effortless way he carried himself.
And now, he was standing in front of you, waiting for an answer.
You blinked. “Oh, um—no, go ahead.”
“Thanks,” he said, sliding into the chair across from you. He set down his coffee cup, then pulled out a notebook, flipping through the pages lazily. “You’re in my media studies class, right?”
You hadn’t expected him to recognize you, much less strike up a conversation.
“Yeah,” you admitted. “I sit near the front.”
“Right, that’s why I never see you,” he said with a lopsided grin. “I usually get there late.”
You let out a small laugh despite yourself. “Yeah, I’ve noticed.”
For some reason, that seemed to amuse him. Heeseung leaned back in his chair, tapping his pen against his notebook. “So, what’s got you looking so serious? Studying for something?”
You glanced at your laptop screen. “Not exactly. Just… trying to finish an article for the campus paper.”
That caught his interest. “You write for the paper?”
“Kind of. It’s just an opinion column. Nothing major.”
Heeseung tilted his head, considering. “I’ll have to check it out sometime. Maybe I’ll learn something.”
You rolled your eyes, but you could feel your face growing warm. Heeseung had this way of making everything sound lighthearted, but there was something about the way he was looking at you—like he actually meant it—that made your stomach flip.
You didn’t know it then, but that moment—him sitting across from you in a crowded cafe, lazily flipping through his notes while keeping light conversations, smiling at you like you were the only person worth paying attention to—that was the moment it started.
The quiet, unshakable feeling of a new beginning forming.
You blink rapidly, snapping back to reality, only to find Heeseung staring at you with a curious tilt of his head.
“You good?” He waves a hand in front of your face, and you realize you’ve been gripping the letter like it personally offended you.
“Yeah!” You blurt out, a little too quickly. “Fine. Super fine.”
Heeseung narrows his eyes, but instead of questioning your suspicious expressions, he leans against the wall next to you, arms crossed, the picture of casual confidence. “So? Any idea who my secret admirer is?”
Your stomach does a full gymnastics routine.
Yeah, actually, it’s me. Surprise!
Obviously, you can’t say that.
You force a laugh, shoving the letter back into his hands like it’s a ticking time bomb. “No clue! There are so many love letters I deal with around campus, you know? Could be anyone.”
Heeseung mockingly pouted. “Come on, Cupid. If anyone can figure it out, it’s you.”
You freeze. Oh no.
Heeseung grins, nudging your arm playfully. “Please? be my lead detective I need to know who has this much of a crush on me.”
You stare at him, trying not to look as horrified as you feel. He’s practically pleading, eyes shining with excitement. He wants to know. He’s curious.
And you?
You want the earth to swallow you whole.
But instead, you swallow down your panic and give him your most confident, totally-not-dying-inside smile. “Yeah, sure! I’ll, uh… I’ll let you know if I figure it out.”
Great. Now you’re investigating your own love letter.
Romcoms make this look so much easier.
Tumblr media
In your defense, the love letter was never supposed to see the light of day.
It had been one of those late-night, caffeine-fueled brain dumps—the kind where your emotions got the best of you, and instead of focusing on your essay due at midnight, you had decided, hey, why not write a dramatic love confession you’ll never actually send?
It started off as a joke. A harmless what if?
What if you had the guts to tell Heeseung how you felt?
What if you weren’t just the campus Cupid, but actually someone worth writing about?
What if, for once, you weren’t just the messenger in everyone else’s love stories?
So, you had poured your heart onto the page. You wrote about how frustrating it was, liking someone from a distance—watching him laugh in the campus café, seeing him glide effortlessly through every class, always just out of reach. You let yourself be honest, because no one was ever supposed to read it.
And then? You stuffed it into your notebook, forgot about it, and went about your life like it never happened.
Until now.
Now, it was in Heeseung’s hands just because you thought it was written by someone else, and now you were stuck in the worst romcom of all time—investigating your own love letter while trying desperately to keep your crush a secret.
Honestly?
You were so, so doomed.
“So, what do you think?”
You try to keep your face neutral as Heeseung waves the letter in front of you, looking more confused than anything.
“About… what?” You ask cautiously.
“This.” He gestures to the paper. “The letter. My so-called ‘secret admirer.’”
Your spoke before you could stop yourself. “So…you figure out who it is. What happens then?”
He thinks, running a hand through his hair. “I mean, i’ll turn them down, it’s really flattering but it’s also kind of a hassle.”
A hassle?
You force out a laugh, even as your stomach twists into knots. “Oh, come on, it’s not that bad. Someone clearly put a lot of thought into this.”
“That’s the problem.” Heeseung exhales sharply. “I wasn’t expecting this. Im interested in someone else, and now I have to figure out how to let this person down without making things awkward.”
Your face heats up. You want to disappear.
“So, you’re not interested in them…? You like someone already?” You ask hesitantly, barely able to get the words out.
Heeseung shakes his head. “I don’t even know who they are. But I hope they don’t take it the wrong way, Y’know?”
You stare at him, pulse pounding in your ears.
He has no idea.
And now? You definitely can’t confess.
Not when you already know his answer.
And if there was one thing worse than knowing Heeseung didn’t want a relationship, it was actively helping him investigate your own confession.
Every day, he’d bring up new theories about who could’ve written the letter, and every day, you’d have to nod along, pretending to be just as clueless.
At first, it wasn’t so bad. Heeseung didn’t seem to be taking it too seriously, mostly brushing it off whenever it came up. But as the days passed, something shifted… just slightly.
“Okay, so hear me out,” Heeseung said, leaning against the bookshelf beside you. The library was quiet, save for the occasional rustle of papers and muffled whispers. “What if it’s someone from one of my classes?”
You kept your eyes on your laptop screen, pretending to focus on your assignment. “You already went through that theory. Twice.”
“Yeah, but I was thinking—what if they’re too nervous to say anything in person? What if it’s, like… someone who sits far away from me?”
You bit your lip. “And yet, you’re still expecting me to figure it out?”
“Well, you’re good at reading people.” Heeseung grinned, nudging your arm. “You always seem to know what’s going on with everyone.”
Your heart stuttered. If only he knew just how right he was.
Heeseung sighed, folding his arms over his chest. “I don’t get it. They wrote all this deep, meaningful stuff, but they didn’t sign their name. What’s the point of confessing if you don’t want the person to know?”
You swallowed hard. “Maybe they were scared.”
Heeseung tilted his head slightly, looking at you in that way that always made you feel like he could see through you. “Scared of what?”
You hesitated. “Of ruining what they already have.”
His expression shifted. “You think they know me?”
You forced a shrug. “Probably. Why else would they write all that?”
Something flickered in his gaze, something unreadable. He held your gaze for a second too long before clearing his throat. “Huh. I never really thought about it like that.”
You turned back to your screen, desperate to focus on anything else. But then Heeseung moved closer, his arm brushing against yours as he leaned in to look at your laptop.
“What are you even working on?” he asked, voice quieter now, like the space between you had shrunk to something more intimate.
You could barely think straight. “Just… an essay.”
“Hm.” He didn’t sound convinced.
His voice was too close. His scent—clean, with a hint of something warm—was too distracting. It was stupid, so stupid, how easily he got under your skin without even trying.
The next few days started to get a little weird.
Heeseung had always been playful, always teasing and leaning in too close, but now it felt… different.
It was in the way he started remembering the little things—how you liked your coffee, how you tapped your fingers when you were thinking, how you always fixed your hair when you were nervous.
It was in the way he kept looking at you, his gaze lingering a little too long before he caught himself.
It was in the way his teasing changed—less casual, more intentional. Like he wanted to see how you’d react.
And then, one night, things got dangerous.
You were in his dorm, flipping through the list of names you had pretended to compile for the investigation. Heeseung sat on the floor beside you, his laptop balanced on his knees, absentmindedly chewing on a pen cap as he read through the letter again.
“You know…” he said, tilting his head, “whoever wrote this is actually really good with words.”
Your blinked. “Yeah?”
“Yeah. It’s, like… weirdly personal.” He frowned slightly, scanning the page. “I feel how much they mean it.”
You held your breath.
He let out a soft laugh. “Honestly, it kinda sounds like your writing.”
Your heart stopped.
Your head snapped up so fast you nearly gave yourself whiplash. “What?”
Heeseung blinked at you, startled. “I mean—you’re good at writing, right? I read your papers, You’ve always been good with words.”
He reads your papers?
You forced out a laugh, hoping he couldn’t hear the way your voice shook. “Right— Well, I didn’t write it, obviously.”
Heeseung studied you for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then, to your horror, he smirked.
“Why do you look so guilty?”
“I don’t.”
“You do.”
“I’m literally just existing, Heeseung. Shut up.”
He laughed, but there was something behind his eyes that made your stomach flip—something like curiosity. “Stop freaking out im just kidding.”
Tumblr media
The investigation had led you and Heeseung all over campus, following false leads, and ultimately getting nowhere. You had been walking back toward the dorms when the sky, clear just moments ago, suddenly turned gray.
And then—of course—it started to rain.
Hard.
“Are you serious?” you groaned, pulling your jacket over your head as you and Heeseung ran toward the nearest cover—a small wooden gazebo near the campus library.
You both skidded to a stop under the roof, breathless and drenched. Heeseung shook his head like a wet dog, flinging water everywhere.
“Really?” You scowled, wiping raindrops off your face.
He laughed, ruffling his already-messy hair. “My bad.”
The sound of rain drumming against the roof filled the space between you, the cool breeze making you shiver.
“Here,” Heeseung said, shrugging off his hoodie.
You blinked at him. “What?”
“You’re cold, Cupid” he pointed out, holding the hoodie out to you. “Take it.”
“I’m fine,” you said, crossing your arms.
He scoffed. “Just take it before you get sick.”
You hesitated, but he rolled his eyes and stepped closer, draping the hoodie over your shoulders himself. The warmth of it, of him, surrounded you immediately, and your breath hitched.
You looked up at him, ready to protest, but he was already watching you—his expression unreadable, the usual teasing glint in his eyes nowhere to be found.
“Why do I feel like you’re hiding something from me?” he murmured suddenly.
Your pulse spiked. “What?”
Heeseung tilted his head slightly, studying you in a way that made your stomach twist. “I don’t know. You just…” He trailed off, then shook his head. “Never mind.”
You swallowed hard, clutching the hoodie tighter around you.
The rain kept falling around you, blurring the world outside the gazebo, making this moment feel like it existed outside of everything else—outside of reality, outside of whatever mess you had gotten yourself into.
For a split second, it felt like you weren’t just Heeseung’s reluctant investigation partner. Like you weren’t the person holding onto a secret that could ruin everything.
Like, maybe, he could actually like you back.
But then he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “We should probably wait this out before heading back.”
Just like that, the moment passed and you were left standing there in his hoodie, drowning in warmth, drowning in him, pretending you weren’t completely, helplessly falling apart.
After the rain, the campus felt quieter, the usual chatter dampened by the lingering water in the air. You walked alongside Heeseung, both of you with your hoods up, trying to shield yourselves from the leftover drizzle. It was awkward but comfortable — the kind of silence where you weren’t sure if you were supposed to talk or if it was okay just to exist in the same space.
Heeseung was the first to break it. “You know, you really don’t have to walk me all the way back to my dorm. It should be the other way around—.”
You glanced at him, trying to hide the blush creeping up your cheeks. You were worried about your own feelings, and now, Heeseung had a way of making your heart flutter with the smallest of gestures.
“I don’t mind,” you replied quickly, too quickly. “I just figured I should, you know… make sure you’re okay.”
Heeseung chuckled, a low sound that made you feel warm despite the cool rain. “You’re acting kind of weird. Usually, you’re so naggy. I thought I’d never see you get flustered.”
You looked away, trying to hide your face. “I’m not flustered.”
There was a brief pause as Heeseung watched you. His eyes softened, the usual teasing light in them dimming a little. “You’re not fooling me, you know.”
You slowed your pace, nervous now, your heart pounding as you tried to look calm. “I’m not trying to fool anyone.”
“I think you are,” he replied, stepping a little closer, his shoulder brushing yours as the two of you continued walking side by side.
You swallowed hard. The proximity felt different now, more charged. Your voice faltered. “What do you mean?”
Heeseung didn’t respond right away. Instead, he shifted his gaze to the ground, the rain creating ripples on the wet pavement. “It’s just… you’re always so careful with what you say. Always so in control. But sometimes… I wonder if you’re hiding something.”
Your stomach dropped at his words. You glanced over at him, but he wasn’t looking at you. The air between you felt heavier, and the tension seemed to stretch out longer than usual.
“I’m not hiding anything,” you murmured, even though part of you wished he could know the truth — or maybe, just maybe, that he could feel the same way.
Heeseung’s voice was quieter now, his tone almost teasing, but there was something else in it, something deeper. “Then why do you always look at me like that? Like you’re holding back?”
Your heart skipped a beat. “What?”
He finally met your eyes, his gaze intense. There was a flicker of something — was it vulnerability? — in his look. “Like you’re scared to let me in. What are you afraid of?”
Your breath hitched. For a split second, you were paralyzed, unsure of how to answer. Was it possible he was starting to see through your walls?
Heeseung’s gaze softened as he noticed the look on your face, sensing something unspoken. He took a step back, offering you a small, reassuring smile. “Maybe I’m just overthinking it. Forget it.”
But you couldn’t forget it. Not now. You could feel the space between the two of you shifting, the weight of his words lingering. Something was different, something had shifted, and you weren’t sure if it was just your heart racing or something more.
For the rest of the walk, neither of you spoke much. But every time your eyes met, it felt like there was a new understanding between you two — a shared secret that neither of you was ready to fully admit, but both were beginning to feel.
Tumblr media
It had been a long day, but when you stepped out of your last class, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something was different. It wasn’t just the cold air or the approaching dusk; something was off, and you couldn’t quite put your finger on it. That was until you spotted Heeseung standing by the bench outside the library, his gaze fixed on you as if he’d been waiting for a while.
Your heart skipped a beat.
He looked at you for a moment before he spoke. “Cupid, we need to talk.”
A nervous flutter danced in your stomach, and you forced a smile. “Uh, sure. What’s up?”
He took a deep breath, stepping toward you, and you noticed the letter in his hand — the same one you’d written to him, the one that had been slipped anonymously into his mailbox just a few days ago. Your heart pounded in your chest, the realization of what was happening dawning on you.
Heeseung didn’t say anything for a moment, just held the letter between his fingers, glancing down at it. “I know this is from you,” he said quietly, his voice gentle but filled with a soft surprise. “I figured it out after I read it again.”
You froze, your breath catching in your throat. You had hoped, prayed, that he wouldn’t find out this way. But here it was, and you couldn’t avoid it any longer.
“How… How did you know?” you asked, trying to hide the nerves creeping up your voice.
He smiled slightly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “A few things gave it away. The way you worded everything… It just felt like it came from you.”
“Also I found some of your notebooks while we were at your dorm and I matched the handwriting…” He blurted out.
Your heart sank. You had spent so long hoping he wouldn’t realize it was you, but now it seemed impossible to hide the truth.
“I… I’m sorry,” you said, almost embarrassed. “I didn’t mean for you to find out like this. I just… didn’t know how to tell you. I didn’t want to make things awkward between us.”
Heeseung’s expression softened. “Why would it be awkward?”
“Because I’ve liked you for a while, and I didn’t know how to say it,” you admitted, looking down at your shoes. “So I thought if I wrote the letter, I could control it. But then I accidentally gave it to you and everything is just— I don’t know It was never meant to reach you.”
Heeseung’s smile widened, and something about the way he looked at you made your stomach flip. “Well, I don’t know about you, but I kind of wish you’d just told me sooner.”
Your eyes shot up to meet his. “What?”
“I mean it,” he said, stepping a little closer. “I wasn’t expecting it to be you but now that I know… It’s kind of a relief. I’ve been wondering why you’ve been acting so weird around me.”
You blinked, taken aback. “I’ve been acting weird?”
Heeseung laughed softly, his eyes twinkling. “Yeah, you’ve been avoiding me like the plague. Always a little too nervous when we talk.”
You felt a wave of warmth rise to your cheeks. “I didn’t mean to… I just…”
He took another step forward, the distance between the two of you shrinking. “You don’t need to explain. I get it.” He paused for a moment, his eyes meeting yours with an almost teasing glint in them. “Honestly, I’ve kind of had a feeling you liked me. You just never said it.”
Your heart skipped a beat. “Wait… you knew?”
He grinned. “Not for sure, but I wasn’t completely blind. I just didn’t want to make assumptions.”
A laugh bubbled up from your chest, and you felt your nerves ease a little. The tension that had been building between the two of you melted away, replaced by something lighter, something more familiar.
“So… this doesn’t make things weird?” you asked cautiously, unsure if you were reading him right. The last thing you wanted was to make things uncomfortable.
Heeseung shook his head, his smile softening. “No. Actually, I’m kind of glad. Now I don’t have to turn anyone down because I like someone else.”
Your heart raced as he closed the gap between the two of you, standing only a few inches away. He looked down at the letter in his hand, then back at you, his expression serious but warm. “I don’t think I ever really realized how much I liked you until now. I think I’ve been too caught up in my own head to notice, but hearing this from you? Yeah, I think I feel the same.”
For a moment, everything seemed to pause — the sound of people passing by, the rustling of the leaves in the breeze, even the thumping of your own heartbeat — until Heeseung’s words sank in fully. The shock of it left you speechless, and the only thing you could manage was a soft, almost breathless, “Really?”
He chuckled, the sound light and comforting. “Really. I like you too, Cupid— I mean, Y/N.”
A smile spread across your face, and you couldn’t stop it. Your heart felt lighter than it had in days, as if a weight had been lifted off your chest. You had been so afraid of how things might turn out, but now, with Heeseung standing here in front of you, it felt like everything was falling into place.
Heeseung held the letter out to you, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. “You know, you could’ve just told me. But I guess this works too.”
You took the letter from him, glancing down at the words you’d written once more, a smile tugging at your lips. “Maybe it was a bit dramatic. But… I was too scared to just say it. I didn’t want to mess things up.”
He reached for your hand, gently taking it in his. “You didn’t mess anything up, Cupid. You just… made everything clearer.”
And just like that, all the tension and uncertainty you’d been feeling seemed to dissolve. There was no more hiding, no more pretending. You were standing here, with Heeseung, both of you finally understanding the feelings that had been simmering for so long.
“So,” he said after a moment, his voice playful again, “How about we skip the letters next time and just go for a dinner date?”
You laughed, your heart full as you squeezed his hand. “That sounds perfect.”
Heeseung smiled, his gaze soft and filled with something genuine. “Good. Let’s not wait any longer, I really want some ramen.”
And with that, the two of you walked off together, the air between you light, and the promise of something more ahead.
Tumblr media
BONUS 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
Dating Heeseung felt like stepping into something familiar but entirely new at the same time. The comfort of your friendship was still there—the teasing, the ease, the way you could talk about anything and everything—but now there was something softer, sweeter, laced between every interaction.
Like right now.
It was late, the two of you curled up on your dorm room floor with a half-finished pizza between you, an old playlist humming softly from your phone. The world outside felt quiet, like this moment only belonged to the two of you. Heeseung was leaning against the bed, his legs stretched out, while you were sitting cross-legged beside him, picking at the crust of your pizza slice.
His hand, which had been resting casually near yours, suddenly slid closer, his fingers tracing the tips of yours absentmindedly. It was such a simple thing, but it sent a shiver up your spine nonetheless.
“So,” Heeseung started, voice slow and teasing. “How’s it feel? Finally dating the guy of your dreams?”
You rolled your eyes, already knowing where this was going. “You’re impossible.”
Heeseung grinned, leaning his head back against the bed. “No, but really. You had a crush on me for so long, and now look at us.” His fingers fully laced with yours now, his touch warm and effortless.
“I wouldn’t say I had a crush that long,” you mumbled, taking a sip of your drink to avoid looking at him.
“Are you kidding? You literally wrote me a love letter.”
Your face burned. “Okay, one letter—”
“One?” Heeseung gasped dramatically, sitting up and turning toward you. “So you’re telling me there aren’t, like, ten versions of that letter somewhere in your notes app?”
You choked. “There absolutely are not.”
“Oh my god.” He laughed, eyes gleaming with amusement. “There are. You rewrote it a bunch of times, didn’t you?”
You covered your face with your hands, groaning. “I am not having this conversation.”
Heeseung was grinning now, having way too much fun at your expense. He reached over, gently prying your hands from your face. “No, no, let’s talk about it. Tell me, how long did it take you to get the perfect wording? Did you, like, pace around your room dramatically?”
You huffed, crossing your arms. “For your information, I wasn’t that dramatic.”
Heeseung smirked. “Mhm. So you didn’t dramatically sigh and go, ‘No, this isn’t right, I need to capture his essence’?”
You picked up a stray piece of crust and chucked it at him. He dodged it easily, laughing as he caught your wrist, pulling you toward him slightly.
“You’re the worst,” you mumbled, but there was no real annoyance behind it.
Heeseung was still grinning, his fingers now playing with yours absentmindedly. “You love it.”
You sighed, shaking your head. “I really don’t.”
“You do,” he countered, tugging you even closer until you were practically pressed against his side. His voice dropped, softer now, almost teasing in a different way. “Did you mean everything you said in that letter?”
You swallowed, suddenly feeling like all the air had been sucked out of the room. “What if I did?”
Heeseung tilted his head, his gaze locked onto yours, and suddenly, the playful atmosphere melted into something else—something quieter, more intense.
“Then,” he murmured, his thumb brushing lightly over your knuckles, “I’d tell you that I think about it a lot.”
You blinked. “You do?”
Heeseung nodded, his expression unusually serious now. “I mean, do you even realize how… nice it is to know someone felt that way about me? And not just anyone—you.” He exhaled, his lips curling into something softer, more affectionate. “I don’t think I ever told you, but when I first read it, before I even knew it was from you, I remember thinking… whoever wrote this really cares about me.”
Your heart was thudding so loudly you were sure he could hear it.
“And then,” he continued, “when I found out it was you? It just… it all made sense.”
Your breath hitched slightly. “It did?”
Heeseung hummed in response.
“You’ve always been there,” he said softly. “I just didn’t realize how much I wanted you to be closer.”
You felt your throat tighten, emotion bubbling up in your chest, but before you could even think of a response, Heeseung leaned in, his forehead resting lightly against yours.
His eyes flickered to your lips for just a moment before meeting your gaze again, as if silently asking permission.
You didn’t need to think twice.
Closing the small distance between you, you kissed him.
It was soft, slow—like both of you were still memorizing the feeling. Heeseung sighed against your lips, his hand sliding to your jaw, tilting your face toward him just slightly.
When you finally pulled away, breathless and heart pounding, Heeseung smiled, his forehead still pressed to yours.
“So,” he murmured, eyes twinkling, “if I ask you nicely, do I get to read those other drafts of the letter?”
You groaned, shoving him away playfully. “Absolutely not.”
Heeseung only laughed, pulling you back into his arms with ease. “Fine, fine. But at least let me know—was I always this irresistible in them?”
You rolled your eyes, but your smile gave you away. “Shut up, Heeseung.”
He grinned, pressing another soft kiss to your temple. “Love you too.”

To be fair, sticking to the bird flu issue, several regulation eliminations specific to the chicken industry that happened under Trump's first term were rolled back under Biden.
BUT, it should be noted that the National Chicken Council fought Biden *hard* on safety regulations in their industry, both reinstated and new. Also that the federal government and several state governments provided resources to deal with Bird Flu to farmers and reached out to them to offer said resources under Biden and the farmers responded with a big middle finger (and in some cases an eager disregard for the health and safety of their migrant workers that bordered on homicidal). The chicken industry backs Republicans up and down the ballots big time and pushed for Trump his first run at the White House, bitched like fiends when he fucked them over, and then backed him again big time this election run because supporting the right to be assholes was more important than remembering the harm he directly caused them.
So yes, simple messaging is important, and the damage Trump causes should be repeated over and over. BUT it is also important to remember that some people are willing to literally die for the ability to be openly bigoted that he grants them and when you run into the brick wall of their psychopathy you can and should walk away for your own health.
Tumblr media
Keep your messaging simple:
“Trump fired everyone in charge of airplane safety, and a week later planes started crashing into each other.”
That’s it. That’s the messaging. Don’t get bogged down disputing Trump’s false claims. Just blame him, in short and repeatable sentences.

˗ˏˋ Entry : 060 - Sung Jinwoo x Fem! Reader: Valentines Day ◛⑅·˚ ♡ ˎˊ˗
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚ 𝕊𝕦𝕟𝕘 𝕁𝕚𝕟𝕨𝕠𝕠 ˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
Tumblr media
╰┈➤ ❝ [ My Reason ] ¡! ❞
Valentines day, the day Jinwoo dreads the most. Not because you're oh-so demanding— It's just a habit he never got to shake off even if you're both dating for years.
Just like your birthdays and anniversaries— He makes a big deal out of it.
This time he opted to make a jar of paper stars as his choice of handmade gifts.
"Pfft... Jinwoo, you're 24, why are you acting like you're still 17?" You laugh as he awkwardly stretches the jar of pastel blue and purple paper stars to you.
"Jagiya, don't make fun of me" He coughs, scratching the back of his neck after you accept the little gift he made solely for you.
"But you're too cute right now to not make fun of!" You grin a boxy smile, melting your boyfriend's heart in an instant that he couldn't stop himself from kissing the tip of your nose.
"Come on, let's go on a date" Jinwoo stretches his hand out to you— An offer you immediately accepted.
꒰ .... ꒱
There's only your footsteps in this empty park you both decided to spend the day. while normally it should be running with people— It seems that no one in particular wanted to spend the day outside. Not that you're both complaining since it's quieter for the both of you as well as no lines on the food trucks.
It's a win-win, right?
The day is only spent walking and chatting— To be exact Jinwoo was just babysitting you since you have an aeful record of getting yourself hurt whenever you're both in the park.
Yeah, you're an idiot.
His lovable idiot atleast.
"Hup!" You jump onto a tree stump and stretch out your hand with a single blue paper star he had made.
"Baby, what are you doing?" He snorts, keeping his hands in his pockets as he watched you prance about like a little child.
"I'm just wondering what a real night sky would look like" You explain, humming softly as you keep staring at the paper blue star with the empty night sky as it's backdrop. "If the lights in korea are all out and the air is clean, how many stars do you think we'll be able to see?"
"...."
Jinwoo then looks to the side for quite a while, "Wan't me to show you then?"
"What? Are you going to turn off all of korea's lights now?"
"I can, but I've got a better idea"
He suddenly joins you in the tree stump, pulling you by your waist close to him as the ground suddenly becomes pitch black with the misty shadows gathering into one. You could only gasp at the sudden visual, grasping onto his coat as the mist lifted you both off.
The gathering darkness formed a dragon, the scales of the creature glimmering in monarch purple as it roared loudly before ascending to the sky.
"S-sung Jinwoo, I said warn me next time! Kyahh!" You scream for dear life, practically sobbing whilst the man himself only laughs at your misery.
He hasn't teased you all day after all, how could a man not indulge in his woman?
"Ah... So cute." — Was the only thing in his head as he orders Kaisel to fly faster just so he can hear more of your panicked voice.
꒰ .... ꒱
The flight took a total of 30 minutes, your vocal chords now nonexistent from the screaming and crying. When you both finally landed, you whip a head towards your lover and began hitting him as a form of a tanthrum.
And how does the mighty Sung Jinwoo, the shadow monarch responds?
He only smiles mischievously as he blocks your attacks lazily with his palm.
Jinwoo lets you complain for a bit before placing a gentle palm on your cheek, whispering; "Look Up."
You didn't want to, what if the bastard is going to use his shadows to jumpscare you like he did whenever he's deathly bored? But after staring into those charming grey eyes ou never grew tired off— You finally look up.
Above your head is the edless night sky painted in several and millions of stars of different colors and shades. Pink, blue, yellow, purple, red— A whole galaxy is actually on the otherwise empty sky you've become used to seeing.
"Has... the sky always been pretty like this?" You ask as you are put in a complete daze while as Jinwoo's orbs only focus on you.
"If... There is less pollution and the lights are all turned off— Maybe you would see some other planets too" Jinwoo said.
"Will Woowoo show me that sky too?"
"You really want me to turn off all the lights in this world?"
"Hahah."
He can. You just have to ask.
But Jinwoo knew you won't so he just lets you indulge the night sky. He remembers it clearly, it was also around this hour where he first confessed to you. Although the sky that time is as empty as it gets— It still feels te same.
His hearts are racing, both his human heart and the heart he inherited from Ashborn as he holds your hand in this peaceful hour.
"I love you"
Jinwoo randomly blurts out, opting you to look at him, But his expression; as loving as it is he looks as of he is harboring some unsaid sorrow and regret.
But even if you asked, Jinwoo would only shake his head.
So intead, you return his affection, "I love you too, woowoo!"
That sweet, sweet, innocent and lovely smile of yours. The smile that is forever embedded into his head whenever he has to go through something alone and something that he is not confident in facing. Just like the rest of you from then; Jinwoo will burn this moment of you tonight in his memories should he need to face anything much bigger than he could ever handle.
Wordlessly, Jinwoo leans down and embraces your soft lips in his. A kiss full of tenderness and longing, a kiss of quiet passion.

I don't want to die
Batfam × negleted Asuka langley!Reader

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You hate this
You hate everything, nothing is ever fair to you
You always tried your best being batgirl but still you couldn't get anyone to tell you how proud they were of you
You were good at fighting and you solved cases in hours but still it seemed like you didn't exist for your family
Your presence was a shadow between the great walls of the mansion, you didn't understand why none of your efforts to get noticed worked
But it's okay, you don't need anyone
You didn't need his approval, you're fine alone because you know very well that no one will protect you or take care of you
But at the same time you didn't want to be alone, you wanted to experience that love that Bruce gave to his other children and which you never felt
Bruce
How you hated that name, he was never a father to you and he never will be, he pretended to be the perfect and exemplary father but deep down he was as broken and rotten as you
You hated him so much, you hated your father and your mother, You hated your brothers and you hated men
Nobody understands you and comprehends you, they pretend to like you but you know that the fake
Richard, claimed to be the eldest brother and that he cared about his brothers but you knew it was a farce, he was as hypocritical and fake as the whole family
He only showed affection to the people who suited him and if you were not useful he just ignored you
You hate him so much, his mere presence makes you nauseous and disgusted
Jason, he was an idiot just like the whole family, since he had revived he was a person full of anger and revenge
In a way you understood him a little, but then you hated him
I believed that just because his life had been miserable it didn't mean that he should make life miserable for others, sometimes you wished that the joker would beat him to death with that crowbar again
Tim, you didn't hate him as much as the others but you still despised him
Since you and he arrived at the mansion You had some kind of rivalry since you two were equally intelligent and you were very competitive children
I never wanted to admit that I was wrong and at some point you were like that too, but having Bruce always put you on his side made your blood boil
Because Bruce seemed so proud of him but with you he treated you as if you were some kind of mistake
Damian, he was the second person you hated the most every time you two saw each other it seemed like you wanted to kill each other
You still remember the first time he arrived at the mansion you weren't so excited you thought he would be another idiot you would have to deal with
You were very surprised when you saw how a katana was heading towards your head, by instinct you dodged it your years as batgirl had favored you for the first time
You didn't remember that fight well, you only knew that if your father and your brothers didn't interrupt that fight you and Damian were going to end up killing each other
But there was something that stayed in your head, when they separated you Damian you and him were equally hurt by their big fight but everyone decided to pay attention to him
Everyone was so worried about him and they had only met him a few hours ago, but you
You had lived in this mansion for more than a decade and they didn't even bother to check on you
The only one who seemed worried was Alfred who carefully tended to your wounds
You could still remember the look of disappointment and anger that your father gave you after that fight
You wanted to cry at that moment and yell at him but you couldn't, you couldn't show yourself weak
It was a simple nonsense that shouldn't affect you, you were never going to show yourself vulnerable or cry again
But deep down, you would have liked to be able to cry
Barbara, you didn't hate her but you didn't like her either, you just tolerated her since at some point she was quite useful in your missions
But you weren't going to lie that at some point you felt jealous of them when she was Batgirl, you saw how Bruce treated her with so much love as if she were a daughter
How he looked at her with pride and cared for her, and you were there looking at her with hatred without knowing why she deserved that love and you didn't
It wasn't fair, she hadn't even tried hard to get Bruce to respect her and you who spent your whole life training and becoming one of the strongest and most skilled members of the batfam he didn't even turn to look at you
Cass, you tolerated her to a certain point your opinion of her was neutral
Sometimes you used to train together but you never talked, you only got together to train or on missions that Bruce asked her to accompany you
Steph, you met her when she was Robin, you got along well at the beginning but when she stopped being Robin you two separated and stopped talking for a while
When she came back she looked so different as if something had changed, you had heard that she went through a lot of things when she left like getting pregnant or something
You just kept quiet and didn't ask her so as not to make her uncomfortable
Your life wasn't the best but you learned to live like that, you got used to this life full of disappointment
Maybe you should just accept this life and wait to die, no one will remember you and the only thing people will remember will be batman's invisible daughter
You will remain as one of Bruce's many mistakes, a mistake he could never fix
_
It was another mission, it was easy you just had to deactivate some bombs that the scarecrow had placed in some buildings, you had done it many times it shouldn't be difficult
And as you sensed it was very easy, there was only one bomb left that was located in a warehouse
You were confident without paying attention to the warning of your father and oracle
You quickly went to the place where the bomb was located, you had deactivated many bombs this one should not be so difficult
But you trusted too much
Oh no
It was a trap, a fucking one
Before you could react the bomb ended up throwing the toxic fear all over the place and you didn't even have time to react
"(NAME)!"
Bruce shouted trying to get you out of there but it was too late
He could see how your body fell to the ground trembling while tears came out of your eyes
He could hear how you screamed in fear and begged for it to stop
"NO! NO PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME REMEMBER, ANYTHING BUT THAT!"
You said between screams while you grabbed your head and curled up further into yourself
Bruce was surprised to see you in that state, he had never seen you so vulnerable and scared
He knew it was the fear gas's fault but he was still surprised, not even when you were little and had come to the mansion you never showed yourself scared or vulnerable
Since you were little you always had that look full of hate and resentment
He quickly went to you to check your condition, he hugged you tightly to prevent you from hurting yourself because of your state
"(Name)!, please react!"
He said trying to make you see reason but all you did was scream in pain and agony
Whatever you were hallucinating was much worse than anything
_
Your head was full of memories of your childhood and that incident
You were supposed to forget it forever but apparently they decided to come back
...
You didn't remember your mother's face, it was a blur between your memories you only remember her tired voice
When you were little you didn't understand why she always seemed so depressed and tired, you were too young to understand the world around you
She was hardly ever home and if she was she was always lying on the couch drinking cheap alcohol
You always asked her what was wrong but she always answered "it's adult things, honey"
In those moments your little self wished you could be an adult and understand everything, to be able to help your mom with whatever she was suffering
But you couldn't, you were a little girl unaware of the world and the problems that surrounded her
You wished your mother had been more present in your life
You knew she had to work for hours and then come back tired, but still...
You still wanted her love
You saw how the other kids at school came to pick them up, how they hugged their parents happily
Hugs
Have you always wanted to know what it would feel like to have someone hug you, would it feel as warm and comfortable as many say?
You just wanted to experience that, deep down you dreamed that someone would hug you in such a quality and loving way
Then that day came, you could still remember it
You had come home from school as usual, everything seemed normal
Too normal
"Mom, I'm home!"
Screaming at you as you took off your shoes and left your backpack on the table
You found it strange that she didn't answer since she was supposed to stay home today
You walked down the small hallway of the apartment until you reached your mother's door
It was half open and you thought he was asleep, you opened it excitedly but all that joy and excitement disappeared as soon as you saw that horrible scene
"M-mom..."
You said in shock looking at her hanging body, small tears came out of your eyes as you looked at that scene completely paralyzed
You quickly reacted and went to her crying, praying to any god that existed that this wasn't real
But it was real, your mother's skin was as cold as the snow falling outside the apartment
After that it seemed that your memory decided to erase all traces of something you remembered
To a certain extent you could still feel your mother's cold skin between your hands
When you were little you didn't understand why Your mother had done that, but now
Now you understood everything...
_
You woke up in your bed, you heard the soft knock on your door
It was Alfred asking you to go have breakfast
"I'm not hungry Alfred, just leave me alone please..."
You said in a tired tone, it was the same tone your mother had
You curled up further in your bed, the old butler said something you weren't able to hear but you didn't care either
Nothing mattered anymore
So the days went by, you weren't even able to get out of your bed or eat
Even the batfam was surprised not to see you as usual to patrol
Richard decided to check on you and almost fainted when he saw your condition, your room was a mess, full of dirty clothes and other things
It was almost impossible to walk around there, your floor was full of things like books, clothes and other things that he didn't want to know what it was
But the worst was your appearance, you smelled terribly bad and your hair was greasy
He quickly forced you to take a shower, he had to push you into the bathroom since you didn't even deign to answer or get up
After Richard told the rest of the family about your sorry state something inside them turned on, like a protective instinct towards his sister
Now they had to force you to do things as mundane as bathing or eating, since apparently you weren't even capable of doing it by yourself
Each member of the batfam tried to cheer you up in their own way
Jason took you with him to the library while he told you about the new book he was reading, he thought it might be interesting for you but all you did was give him a tired look
Tim made you sit next to him while he worked on his computer, sometimes he asked you if you wanted to help him in some case but you just refused
The old you would have accepted without hesitation but the old you was no longer there
Damian and Cass made you go with them to train with them but you refused, arguing that you were too tired or didn't feel like it
So they just made you sit there while you watched them train since Bruce asked everyone to keep an eye on you
Steph and Barbara tried to cheer you up by making you spend time with them, but nothing worked
You gave them the same empty and tired look you gave everyone
Bruce decided that the best thing was to take you out of school and take you with him to work, since according to him you were in a very delicate and vulnerable state
Besides he could educate you, you didn't need any teacher when you had him, it was much better since you spent all day by his side and he could control you better
Richard tried to get you to bake a cake with him but all you did was look at him tiredly before nodding at his idea
But he still tried to make you happy while you two cooked but nothing could make you feel something
You were like a doll without emotions, you had entered a state where you couldn't even tell what was real and what wasn't
Your body was there but your conscience wasn't
But don't worry, as long as you're next to them you don't have to worry about anything
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm thinking of updating Goodbye World My soon, there are just a few things left to edit and then I'll upload it
Leaving that aside, I hope you enjoy this!

plot: ceo!sukuna and the woman he was forced to marry finally learning to get along.
content warning: none at all. it's not 18+ but if i make a fic it will be.
peachy's yap: i wanna make this into a fic but im not 100% sure yet, lmk ! no smut just a small fluff to test out the waters. one last one shot coming until i go on a lil break.
Tumblr media
this wasn't what you wanted at all. ever since you were a little girl you planned to get married to a caring man. years later give birth to a love child hold he or she in your arms as you and your loving husband smiled at one another.
that dream was gone now and here you were a year after your wedding. terrified to even knock on the door of his study knowing his temper was off the wall at the moment. when you were cooped up in your hobby room you could hear him barking orders. while you sat in silence writing novel after novel he forbade you to publish.
this was your everyday, wake up alone, eat alone, write alone, shower alone, watch movies alone, and even go to sleep alone. he was in his study night and day until his hefty body slipped into your shared bed waking you at 2am. he didn't bother to apologize he just turned away going to sleep himself. and yet you found yourself wanting to be close to sukuna.
you sighed already knowing the conversation you both were bound to have today... just like every month for the last year. you were given to him for your writing and negotiating skills. his father the previous boss offered to pay your father millions to suspend the contract at your job for you to work for them. all for money. you raised your hand knocing on the wretched door.
you and sukuna moved into this house 6 months ago and it felt like you'd been locked away in a tower. although sukuna never listened to your ideas or let you have your way about anything he left the house details to you. he stood back as you worked with the sketchy architect who purposely looked down your blouse (his words).
he let you pick out the number of rooms, and bathrooms. the ceiling height, the shape of the pool, even how many patio chairs you wanted. he let you decorate the house pick the colors, even would let you throw splashes of pink and purple where ever you pleased. but you never did it, you didn't want to do it if not with sukuna.
but to sukuna none of this mattered because his work was more important. in his words he said 'i'll let you deal with less important matters. at least im positive you won't fuck that up.' did that statement hurt? hell yeah but even then you still wanted to be close to him.
"s...sukuna?" you stuttered waiting to hear his gruff voice.
"get in here." he said sternly and you pushed the heavy doors open, struggling at the weight. once you pushed in you stood by the door hands behind your back fingers laced. "sit." he said pointing to the chair in front of his desk and you scurry not wanting to anger him.
"i'm sorry i didn't come sooner i was writing and i had a idea i couldn't lose." you plead his eyes never left yours. he face expression neither annoyed nor pleased.
"why must you continue writing, when you have a duty to fulfill here." he grumbled and you looked down at your thumbs.
"sukuna you wont let me go with you to negotiate that's all m'good for." you say and he scoffs at your excuse.
"you are here to write contracts and negotiate deals you have not done any of that over the last year!" he said his voice raising, by no means were you a push over. scared of this big, brolic, hunk definitely but one thing you'll never be is a punk.
"you have yet to assign me any work. i know what you'll say 'you should come ask me if there's anything to do' but you are my boss. you instruct i follow, i refuse to do anything for you if you can not request it on your own." your reply was calm, you didn't want to anger him further.
"i don't want to overwhelm you," he sighs. his strict facade dropping as he handed you papers and you hum. looking down at the papers it was full of stats and numbers that made your head spin. "this is everyday work for me, i need your help but i must figure it out alone."
"the numbers are a bit crazy but it's not much to find a way to make a deal that'll pretty up the numbers." you tell him and he nods.
"how?" he asked and you looked up at him. this was the first time sukuna had asked for your help. you were shocked that he even let you know that he needed help.
"i mean your the statistics man. once you work out the numbers we can talk negotiating." you tell him with a smile hoping the sly compliment of him being good with numbers didn't slip past him. his red eyes looked up at you through his thick lashes. the corner of his lips tugging upwards as if he wanted to smile and couldn't.
this day was the first day you sat next to sukuna behind his desk. your knees touched and even that amount of contact was enough for you. you helped him clean up his desk and he didn't object he just said 'make sure you put them where i tell you'. and you did picking up the papers on his desk and organizing them for him. placing them in different stacks based off who and what they were from.
little did you know sukuna admired your every move. he watched how you walked around his office complaining about how dull it was. how your curls bounced with every step you took. he watched you search up paint colors and decor for his office. not once did this distract him, he either hummed in agreement or disagreement as he worked on the numbers.
even days later the connection between sukuna and you began to grow. he listened to your opinions and even stepped out of his office during the day. he came to your writing room to sit and drink coffee with you at 3am when you felt like you had a good idea. he even showed you the room you called the 'junk room' that was quite literally filled with sukuna's junk. he pulled out an electric guitar bragging about how it was signed by one of the best.
he tells you the name as you face scrunches up in confusion never hearing of this man ever. but even your disinterest in that didn't deter his sheer audacity and gall. he called you a degenerate and said you were a bug under a rock. you replied with 'more like a boulder' as you looked him up and down judgingly.
this comment made sukuna laugh, yes actually laugh. from that day you never held in a joke, letting anything on your mind loose. sometimes sukuna would look at you as if you said the stupidest shit on earth. most times he'd shake his head with an endearing smile but 2 times out of 10 he'd laugh.
day after day the more time you spent with sukuna the more you were pulled out of the depression. you watched movies of families with a smile even thinking about having a child with that demon.
in return sukuna became more comfortable approaching you. initially he was scared to anger you or say something that would hurt your feelings. heading his father's warning 'don't talk to her too much. you know how you are, you'll hurt her feelings.' so he listened avoided starting conversation, leaving the bed before you woke up and coming in after you fell asleep. ate in his office and never ever entered your writing room.
that day you came in and told him he was your boss changed his brain chemistry. his father was wrong, he wouldn't hurt your feelings because you wanted him to act like your boss. you could dish it out and take it. that day was when sukuna thought to himself 'i could really get used to this'.
that's why after a month of the two of finally getting along sukuna instructed you to meet him at the dining table. dining table was a stretch as it only had 2 chairs. as you waited for him assuming it was about work you were shocked for sukuna to slam down your houses floorplan.
"it's about time we made this house into a home don't ya think?" he asked looking at you and you smiled. and the two of you sat there all night you sipping on a shirley temple and he drank whiskey. he promised he'd make you cocktails from now on since you found out he was a bartender for all of 3 months.
you planned and brainstormed until the next morning. you were leaned on the table drool coming out of your mouth. sukuna smiled at how comfortable you had became around him. he lifted you and carried you up the stairs. that was the first day sukuna felt like he was really a husband. that day was when sukuna swore to himself that he would be a husband.

First, a specific note. The study mentioned that birth city was randomly generated on the randomized charts, but could happen to match the person’s actual birth city. I believe that this could be a giveaway. If I saw 5 charts to choose from, and the cities were Chicago, Chicago, NYC, LA, and SF… could Chicago have been rolled twice on 2 decoy charts by chance? Sure, but my feeling is, it’s more likely that Chicago showed up twice due to one of them being the real person’s birthplace. So I’d pick one of the Chicago charts. (Haven’t done the math on this.) edit: have since done the math on this. I was mistaken. Assuming pool of 100 cities: 1*(4C1*1*99*98*97) ways to get Chicago, Chicago, X, Y, Z from the person being from Chicago. 99*(4C2*1*1*98*97) ways to get that list from the person being from one of the other 99 cities. Works out to 2/5 chance of being from Chicago, or 1/5 for each multiple choice option. Math is only for the case of AABCD (one city is repeated twice and the other 3 options are unique).
On that note, could I do better than random chance just by picking the most populous city out of the 5 chart options? For example if 98 people came from NYC and 2 people came from Juneau, I’d guess NYC for everyone and be 98% accurate.
This probably didn’t come up with only 12 people’s charts. But with more charts, better make sure any birth city is equally likely in the test data set. For example if you have 100 charts, don’t make 50 of them be from NYC.
-
This is interesting. I read the whole thing and one of the things they pointed out is, while 152 is a solid sample size for participants, 12 is a small sample size for questions.
In other words, for some people their personality is nothing like what astrology would predict. And for other people it happens to match up by chance. The example the write-up uses is “people born in February are more empathetic” (this is not something astrologers actually believe, just a made-up example).
So let’s pretend that “February births are empathetic” is a widespread belief. Say you grab 12 people’s charts, and 2 of them were born in February. You might get lucky or unlucky, and both of them happen to be empathetic just by chance. So going off that belief, you get those 2 correct, and 2 out of 12 is a big deal. That alone could be enough to push the astrologers to be more accurate than random guessing would be.
But if you grabbed 1200 charts, you’d get about 100 February ones, and they wouldn’t all be empathetic people by chance. They’d be more representative of the population. And then, choosing based on “Feb births are empathetic” wouldn’t help.
I realize that making a participant answer 1200 questions would be ridiculous and unreasonable. How about choosing 12 charts randomly, and anyone who gets over half or so correct goes in for a larger test of 100 charts? Then the 12-chart version is like a screening. If you get a low score, you are definitely not a “real” astrologer. If you get a high score, you may be a real astrologer or you may have gotten lucky on the screening, so you go in for a more comprehensive test.
I do believe there should be a small better-than-randomness result. I don’t think astrology is real, but I think a lot of people are aware of it, or believe in it, or do it for fun. I think that hearing “Feb births are empathetic” may affect how you see yourself, especially if you believe in astrology. Or someone who believes in it may repeat it to their Feb-born child.
I also think there may be a small correlation between birth city and personality or mannerisms/wording used in answering the survey questions. For example if you were born in NYC, maybe you lived there for at least part of your life, and that may show up in how you answered the survey questions. Making the survey multiple-choice would help some but not completely. I do believe that your environment/culture affects your outlook and personality, and if you got very large samples, I’d expect this to show up!
Astrology doesn't seem to work.

As your boyfriend opens the door for you, a wave of loud talking and laughter hits you immediately. It always amazes you how many people come to these events for Quinn’s work. It’s easy to forget the amount of effort that goes into those fun little games on ice.
You step inside, glancing around as the herd of people closest to the door turns toward you. Naturally, their gaze lingers on Quinn—and then shift to you, standing right beside him. Quinn waves to a few people as the two of you move deeper into the room.
“We’ve gotta find the guys. They’re around here somewhere,” Quinn says, scanning the room.
You nod quickly. Surely being around familiar faces will help ease the nerves that are already starting to build up from all of the attention.
You squeeze his hand, trying to focus on the warmth and pressure of his grip as he holds yours. “Yeah, let’s find them.”
He leads you through the bustling crowd until he eventually spots Elias Pettersson and Conor Garland.
“Hey, you two,” Conor greets, pulling both you and Quinn in for hugs, with Petey following suit.
Quinn’s hand finds its place on your waist as he settles into conversation with his friends. You chime in here and there when something catches your interest, the comfort of their company gradually putting you at ease.
For a while, you feel better, laughing and chatting with the small group. But that changes the second your purse slips from your hand and falls to the ground with a thud. Instinctively, you look around to see if anyone notices, expecting a few fleeting glances.
Your stomach drops when you’re reminded just how many people are around, and they’re all staring. Not just glancing, but staring. Why are they staring? Their eyes linger, waiting—maybe for you to pick it up. The pit in your stomach grows as you start wondering what they might be thinking.
Your chest immediately tightens. The room feels louder and everyone seems closer. When did they get so close? Your chest moves up and down rapidly, desperately trying to get a full breath, but the air gets stuck in your throat.
“Babe, you okay?” Quinn’s voice cuts through the haze, grounding you.
You blink, and suddenly the world is back in focus. He’s holding your purse, having picked it up amidst your small panic.
“I’m- I’m fine,” you stammer, unconvincingly.
Quinn’s eyes search yours, concern etched across his face. “You’re shaking, sweetheart.” His tone is gentle, careful not to draw any more unwanted attention to you.
“I told you—I’m okay,” you insist, but your body betrays you with a slight sway.
Quinn sighs softly, placing his hands on your hips to steady you. “Well, this isn’t okay with me. Come on, let’s go talk.”
Taking your hand, he quietly leads you out of the crowded party room and into the hallway.
Once outside, you squeeze your eyes shut for a moment, trying to calm your racing heart. “Quinn, we don’t have to do this. We should go back in—this is for your job.”
“Y/n, baby, we can go if that’s what you need. It’s just a New Year’s party. We’ll do our own New Years at home,” he assures you, brushing a strand of hair from your face.
You sigh, guilt creeping in. “I just feel selfish. You’re the face of the Canucks—people are going to stare. You shouldn’t have to miss this just because I’m… freaking out.”
Quinn shakes his head, his thumbs brushing against your cheeks as he cups your face in his hands. “You don’t have to get used to anything. You’re dealing with something, and that’s okay. You’re not doing anything wrong. Besides, I can’t enjoy this if I know my girl’s struggling, can I?”
His words melt some of your worries, and a small smile breaks through. “No, I guess not.”
“Also,” he adds with a small grin, “between you and me, I didn’t want to come to this thing anyway.”
You raise an eyebrow, feigning offense. “Wow, so you’re just using me as an excuse to ditch?!”
“What? No! That’s not what I was trying to say! I meant—” his eyes widen, and he fumbles over his words, making you giggle.
“You know what I meant!” he huffs, shaking his head. “You’re a jerk.”
“It was just a joke!” you tease, still laughing as you walk towards the exit with him, hand-in-hand.
Quinn gives a small, dramatic pout. “Why are you so mean to me?”
“I’m not mean to you! I was kidding!” you repeat while laughing even more at his reaction.
Secretly, he’s overjoyed to hear you laughing, even if it is at his expense. He’d gladly let himself be the punchline to your jokes as long as he gets to hear that favorite sound of his.

his girl
an alpha that hadn't yet claimed you. your first time in the hard deck. his flirty superior. what could go wrong?
technically a part two to military issued, but it can be read as a standalone
Tumblr media
Bradley Bradshaw was in love.
he held you close, nuzzled against your neck as you sat in his home. your home now, too, you supposed.
you didn't have a choice in the matter. when your first met, you were adamant you'd made the wrong choice in becoming a military omega. but Bradley's alpha scent was in your nose. his big, strong hands were on you, your brain melted.
you couldn't help it. your omega brain switched on, and you nuzzled against him, trying to get as much of his scent on you.
you wanted to drown in it, get drunk off of it. your alpha. your big, strong Alpha that you couldn't get enough of.
his lips nipped at your neck and you released a giggle. he hadn’t claimed you, yet, waiting for your heat. that was the proper way to do it, how the military wanted it done.
he now had a reason to come home.
***
it was weird, walking around with an Alpha that hadn't claimed you. you held his hand as he led you from the Bronco and into the bar.
the hard deck. a cute name, considering the little bit Bradley had told you about naval aviation. "ready?" he asked you, lifting your hand to his lips to kiss the back of it.
you swallowed the lump in your throat, but the way your moustache tickled your skin had you giggling. "ready," you answered.
meeting your alpha's friends was a big deal. even when you tried to pretend it wasn't, it was a big deal. his friends. the people he worked with. the people that would make sure he came back to you. his squad were important to him.
they were important to you, too, now.
this was something this should have waited until you were mated, until you had his claim on your neck and yours on his. but you were completely covered in his scent, and that was the next best thing.
the hard deck was a cacophony of shouts and jeers and music from the juke box. shouts of those trying to be louder than the jeers, jeers from the group playing darts. noises from the pool table too, cues hitting balls and balls hitting each other.
he led you through the hard deck, past the bar and over to a group of people in khakis. "hey, rooster!" one of them called as the two of you approached.
mostly alphas, you noted as you looked at them. two betas, no other mares in sight.
"guys, there's someone I want you to meet."
Bradley pulled you in front of him. his hands rested on your shoulders as he introduced you, gave his friends your name.
"hi," you said abd swallowed the uncomfortable feeling in your throat. too tight, lump in your throat too big.
shoving the pool cue into the hands of the spectacled man, the broad, brown haired an strode over. he looked tall, until he got close to Bradley.
beta, you realised once you breathed in.
"hangman," bradley mumbled, his moustache twitching as he pulled you closer. like he had anything to be worried about. you were well and truly his.
"who's this pretty little thing?" he asked, looking you up and down. a beta raised by alphas, you decided.
you patted your alphas chest. "this is Bradley," you said and smiled up at him. "he really is a pretty little thing, isn't he?"
red cheeked, hangman laughed at you. no, not at you. with you. "I'm jake," he said and held his hand out to you.
"nice to meet you, jake."
one by one, you met all of Bradley's friends. they were all lovely, but your favourite was natasha. she was maybe the second sexiest Alpha you had ever seen (behind Bradley, of course). not only that, but she was lovely. friendly, but she could easily hold her own. if they were a Pack, more than friends, she would have been their leader.
sat in Bradley’s lap, you listened as his friends told you stories. what they could of their time in the Navy. none of the horrible stuff, none of the traumatic things they had been through. instead, the moments they found themselves... enjoying.
no, enjoying wasn't the right word. but it allowed them to feel like they belonged.
as you listened, your glass became empty. you shook it, the ice cubes clinking together, before you drank them, too.
"I'm gonna get another," you said to Bradley and kissed his cheek.
he tightened his grip on you, not letting you off of his lap. "hey," he said quickly, his eyebrows raising.
rolling your eyes, you pressed a kiss to his lips. you pulled away, giggling as you made your way to the bar.
"same again?" the woman behind the bar asked.
"please," you said and she began making it for you.
you pulled your card from your purse, but someone placed their hand on top of yours, stopping you.
not Bradley, you would have recognised his scent immediately.
you looked up at the man, also in khakis. his dark hair was greying at the sides and there was something about his smile that put you off, like he wasn't used to the action. "I got it, darlin'," he said and opened his wallet.
you shook your head. "I'm good," you said and grabbed your card again. "thank you, though."
"c'mon, put it away," he said, trying to sound light. "a pretty 'mega like you shouldn't have to pay for your drinks."
a smile split across your face. "you're right," you said and tucked your card back into your purse. "lemme go and get my Alpha real quick."
you made your way back over to Bradley, grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet. "what're you doing, angel?" he asked, hands on your waist, pulling you into him.
he looked at the man beside you. "cyclone."
he fucking knew him!
oh, this was too good.
cyclone cleared his throat. "Rooster," he said as Bradley pulled out his wallet.
"have you met my Omega yet?" he asked, paying for your drink. you sipped it, practically glowing as your alpha protectively stood up for you.
he leaned down and kissed your exposed shoulder. "go sit down, Angel," he whispered and sent you on your way. you went willingly, sitting beside Nat and watching as Bradley spoke with cyclone.
"I didn't know he knew him," you muttered and sipped some more of your fruity cocktail drink.
natasha released a laugh. "knew him? that's our superior."
your mouth dropped open. your alpha. sticking up for you. in front of his superior.
you were so in love.
I'd loooove some more abo/hybrid!au top gun requests!

SUMMARY: tkdb boys that would remember the names of your stuffed animals
COMMENT: my THIRD recycled twst prompt YIPPEE this is not the last one but its the last bite sized one. falls flat on my face.
tagging @amaribelt for luca!!
Tumblr media
Tohma prides himself in remembering things, honestly. He’s tired and worn out by the end of the day, having been stretched so thin by his own captain that the second his monocle is off he’s hitting the sheets. You have taken the liberty of giving him quite the collection of furry friends, birds and fish and land animals alike, and he finds himself smiling at the end of every day regardless of whether you’re there or not. Because the plushies you have strewn across his bed are a part of you, and he is flattered to be entrusted with (some of) them.
Luca is a sweetheart, from the top of his scalp to the tips of his toes. He commits each stuffed animal of yours to memory, reciting their names no matter how strange they may be. He gives them each a headpat and looks down upon them so affectionately it makes your heart sing. Does he understand why this makes you so happy? No, not particularly—but he’d sooner die than stop.
Sho really doesn’t see what the big deal is. Your stuffed animals are a part of you, and you obviously treasure them, so why should he be embarrassed or hold himself back from learning everything he can about them? Sho remembers the silly stories of how you got each one, blushing softly when you call him cute, turning away when you tease him. Of course he remembers! You’re important to him, after all.
Ren will sooner die than admit he takes your stuffed animal’s names to heart. He slips up one day and calls one of them by name, much to your delight and his chagrin. He pulls away from your questions, blushing bright red at your beaming smile, and says you’re acting way too much like that clown and it’s freaking him out. He doesn’t mean it. He loves you. That’s why he remembers everything he can about you.
Ritsu is so, so proud of it. He eats praise out of the palm of your hand, preening and looking oh so boastful even if he likes to act like he doesn’t. The stuffed animal on your keychain? He has a voice recording of you telling him the story of how you got it. The stuffed animal you hug every night? He knows the story of that one too—here, let him pull up the recording! (Not that he needs them, mind you, he does have them all memorized. He just wants to take every opportunity to listen to your voice.)
Haku loves you. Anything important to you is important to him, and that includes your inanimate furry friends. He greets them as he comes through the door, patting their heads one by one. If you pout and yank his hand over to you for pets, he’ll pet you too, reassuring you that you’re his favorite thing to hold during the night. Flirt!
Jiro doesn’t even really realize he has them memorized. It happens during one of your exams, when he tells you to please move Banana Bread off of your chair because that’s where you must sit for him to get a proper reading on your vitals. You can point it out, but he’ll simply say it’s not that hard to remember it. He genuinely does not understand the importance, but if it makes you happy he will keep doing it.

The idea that scientists are settled about gravity is hilarious.
For example, one idea about dark energy was that it was an illusion - gravity just behaves differently at long ranges.
I think leftists have at best a low school understanding of physics, which is understandable considering how much of their time is spent mastering the ten million gender pronouns they invented in the last week.
We KNOW that Newton was wrong - Einstein proved it a century ago.
We also KNOW that Einstein is wrong and quantum mechanics is wrong. These incredibly useful predictive formulas that underpin our civilisation CONTRADICT.
A century has been spent trying to reconcile them.
Just as an example - does antimatter fall up or down?
It's not a trivial question. If antimatter was repelled rather than attracted, it would explain why we exist.
We should not.
Antimatter and matter should have formed and neutralised each other.
If gravity can repel, then there's an equal amount of antimatter galaxies and perhaps life - it's just too far away to interact.
So they tested it.
Bummer, there goes that idea. Are we going to bump into an antimatter galaxy? It's a pretty big deal that we understand gravity to decide whether we need to pack our bags and run.
Is FTL possible?
Yes, if antigravity can be manufactured.
Can it?
We are at the stage of a definite maybe and have sat there for near a century. It's not forbidden. It should be, but it is not.
Our gravity theory is wrong, we know it is, we have spent billions trying to find something better, and we are stuck.
So the last thing we need is Leftists with
Tumblr media
Recently, Leftists demanded access to the records of how funding for education was controlled.
If you look at past decades, America was world class, cutting far ahead of everyone else in discovery and innovation.
But under Leftists, every student became an activist instead. The science was settled. Why even bother trying to find something new?

Nail Care : OP81 X READER
This is my first work so feed back is welcomed i also take request so feel free to do sooo anyways plz enjoy
Tumblr media
It started with an offhand comment during a race weekend interview.
“Yeah, I don’t really like cutting my nails,” Oscar had said, shrugging as if it wasn’t a big deal.
But to you, it was. You had been dating him long enough to know he had a few endearing yet slightly questionable habits—leaving half-empty water bottles around, forgetting to charge his phone until it was practically dead, and, of course, avoiding the simple task of cutting his nails.
“Alright, give me your hand.”
Oscar looked up from his phone, eyes narrowing in suspicion. “Why?”
“Because I love you and because your nails are one trim away from making you look like you belong in a werewolf movie.”
He huffed, but there was a telltale blush creeping up his neck as he reluctantly placed his hand in yours. “They’re not that bad.”
“They are,” you deadpanned, grabbing the nail clippers and setting his hand in your lap.
You expected more resistance, maybe some playful whining, but Oscar just sat there, watching as you carefully took his fingers one by one, trimming them down to a more reasonable length.
“You’re being weirdly cooperative,” you noted, glancing up at him.
“I mean, it’s not the worst thing in the world,” he murmured, gaze softening as he watched you. “You’re very focused.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help the small smile forming on your lips. “Yeah, because if I don’t do it, you’ll keep going around with claws.”
He chuckled, tilting his head. “Maybe I was just waiting for you to do it for me.”
You paused for a second before shaking your head. “That’s dangerous thinking, Piastri.”
“Yeah, but it worked, didn’t it?”
You sighed dramatically but secretly loved how comfortable he was with you doing the smallest things for him. When you were done, you gently brushed your thumb over his newly trimmed nails, making sure everything was even.
“There. No more talons.”
Oscar wiggled his fingers, inspecting them. “You did a great job. Maybe I should hire you as my personal nail technician.”
You scoffed, swatting his arm playfully. “I’ll do it for free, but only because I love you.”
He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. “Lucky me.”

Nora's Plan B
Hey Nora.
Nora: Sup Em, whicha want?
Emerald: Say if Ren doesn’t work out would you date Jaune?
Nora: Yes.
Emerald: What?
Ruby: What?
Weiss: What?
Nora: What? Is that a big deal?
Emerald: Explain.
Nora: I mean I call Jaune a fearless leader for a reason.
Weiss: But Cardin-
Nora: Let’s break it down. Jaune let Cardin get away with what he did was because of his transcripts however that’s also because Jaune was used to situations like because no one has ever helped him with that. Think about it, how many friends Jaune had before Beacon?
Ruby: Hm.
Nora: Plus the moment Cardin threatened Pyrrha his attitude took a whole 180. Shoot after the Ursa he was ready to fight Cardin again.
Ruby and Weiss: Yeah, she’s not wrong.
Nora: Next, Cinder would have to watch Jaune’s progression in order to set up a good team for us to fight. Didn’t she?
Emerald: Yeah.
Nora: And Jaune stood up for Pyrrha when everybody was laying pressure on her. That’s something.
RWE: True.
Ruby: But Nora sometimes Jaune-
Nora: Hold on, yeah, Jaune has his hissy fits but then again, don’t we all grieve differently. Plus Ruby, Qrow waited until we were attacked by Salem’s forces to explain everything. Instead, he could have just told us from the start. He was doing unnecessary things. So yeah Jaune has every right to be mad. I say Qrow should have counted his blessings that Jaune was willing to help him at all if you weren’t around. Or Jaune kills him by his own hands.
Ruby: Oh.
Weiss: But then he- Oscar-
Nora: With Oscar, Jaune admitted he overreacted with him. But, again, understandble. We grieve at our own pace. And I mean seriously Ozpin hadyears to stop Salem and he hasn’t done it. Ozpin might as well be just as bad as Salem.  Also if you have not noticed back in Argus the moment he pushed Oscar to the wall none of us were ready. Remember how  Yang looked?
RW:
Tumblr media
Nora: That was fear. I will say that takes points away for being attractive but it also shows he has a breaking point. Which for most people needs to be avoided cause someone could end up dead. But again Jaune proves he has control of his emotions by letting Oscar go.
Yang: Yeah she’s not wrong.
Ruby: Yang how-
Yang: Stay on topic. Look I’m cool with Ren and you know I- I understood why he was upset but the moment he realized his tone with Jaune-
Tumblr media
Yang: He knew. He knew he f**** up but then Jaune’s response- Oh my god.
Tumblr media
Yang: He maintained his composure. His behavior proves he learned from Argus with Oscar. He still was willing to talk with him.
Tumblr media
Yang: If that’s not maturity then I don’t know what is. Just saying.
Ruby: But Jaune in the Ever After was-
Yang: Okay let’s compare. Ren was upset about Atlas and Mantle. Instead of being upset about it and following orders, what else has he done to fix anything? Nothing. And when he finally expressed himself it was after Oscar got kidnapped. And we were stranded in the middle of miles in snow with no food or transportation. Meanwhile, leaving those thousands of people to die.
Me: But didn’t you start it?
Yang: Doesn’t matter.
Me: Yes it-
Yang: Shut up. And in the Ever After Ruby…. …. We were there for a day and we made Little homeless. Robbed the knights. Almost died playing a game of chess with a spoiled brat. Fought our inner demons. And destroyed a city market with people in it to save ourselves from Neo. In one day mind you we did all of that.
Ruby: Holy-
Yang: Now with Jaune he wasn’t dismissing our problem but we were contemplating at the wrong time.
Tumblr media
Yang: Mainly because a storm came.
Tumblr media
Yang: He then brought us to his home.
Tumblr media
Yang: And let's recall he was waiting for us. Something he didn’t have to do. At all.  And what did we do? Judge the man for taking care of a bunch of children who want to die.
Tumblr media
Yang: Then we brought Neo to him.
Tumblr media
Yang: And Ruby -
Ruby: No further comments.
Yang: And Ratchet.
Me: *sigh* Okay. Fine. If you have seen my list of Jaune ships or seen any of my post on Ren and Nora., my outlook on them is not good. But after thinking about the reason I hate Nora, I steadily realized, ‘man, what I am saying, she’s better than Sakura.” She doesn’t physically or mentally abuse Jaune like Sakura does to Naruto. And unlike the other besides Pyrrha she’s consistent with Jaune. So I'll admit I was petty with her in volume seven and eight. I can see Nora’s Arc happening.
Nora: Thank you. Anyways Emerald I would date Jaune as my plan B. Especially if Ren and I don’t recover from Atlas.
Emerald: Well damn. Too bad you got competition.
Nora: *laugh*
RWE: *shocked*
Nora: Let them come. But remember, team JNPR. And team JNRO. And team RNJR.
Weiss: What is that- oh my god.
Nora: That’s right. I’m number two. I’m the second. I’m always beside Jaune. Not Pyrrha. Not Ren. Me. He’s the leader. But the queen of the motherf***ing castle. Bye ladies. *leaves*
Yang: Damn.
Weiss: Oh no, I better act fast.
Ruby: I need Ren to clean up his mess quickly.
Emerald: She most definitely

[The Mean Bean is packed. Sonic walks in and takes a seat at the counter to talk to Shadow, who is handing out coffee cupcakes.] Sonic: Hey, quite the success. Shadow: Yes. I didn’t think people would like them this much. Sonic: I’m so glad to see you this happy and knowing you’re making a fortune doing something you enjoy. Shadow: Hm? Sonic: …You’re not getting paid more? Shadow: No? Should I? Sonic: Of course you should, Shadow! The recipe is yours, you came up with it and bake the cupcakes! Shadow: Oh, well… how was I supposed to know that for doing extra work in my free time I should be paid more? Sonic: … Shadow: Although, now that I say it out loud, it makes sense, because I’m spending all my money on butter and eggs. Sonic: Wait, you’re paying for the ingredients by yourself too??? Shadow: …Yeah? Did I do that wrong, too?? Sonic: Look, Shads, stop spending time with Knuckles. We were hoping he’d pick up some smarts, but in the end, he just passed on the dumb. You need to ask Stone and Eggman for a raise right now. Shadow: You think? Wouldn’t that be taking advantage? Sonic: Oh, come on! Shadow: I mean, maybe they’re not making that much money. Stone [rushes over]: Shadow, I’m heading to the bank to deposit the money because the register won’t close! [pats his head]: Oh, my little chef and savior! [leaves the café] Sonic [raises an eyebrow at Shadow] Shadow: …I think you’re right. You know what? I’m going to talk to Ivo and tell him to give me a raise. And now, since they think they're so smart, you’re taking this whole tray for free. [hands it over] Sonic: But I was about to go for a run-- Shadow: I said you’re taking it! Sonic [grabs it]: Okay, okay, okay. [leaves the café with the tray] [Robotnik comes out of the storage room. Shadow immediately follows him.] Shadow: Ivo. Ivo! Robotnik: Whaaaaaaaaaat. Shadow: Look, I’ve been thinking. Since I came up with the cupcakes, I bake them, and I brought them here in the first place, but you and Mr. Stone are the ones making bank, I think it’d be fair to give me a raise. Robotnik: No. Shadow: Thank—What?! Robotnik: And don’t start whining, we all have problems here. I’ve spent the whole morning going from bank to bank trying to figure out where to put all this cash. It’s a tough choice, you know? Shadow: Well, I’ll make it easy for you. From now on, I’m going to do what my contract says: be a waiter. Robotnik: Oh yeah??? Well, look what I do with your stupid cupcakes. [grabs two cupcakes, smashes them on the floor, then stomps on them in a little dance]: There! Now clean this up, waiter! Shadow [grunts and goes for the mop] Robotnik: Who do you think you are?! You think the café is gonna go empty because of you? Get off your high horse! Brayden: Dr. Robotnik, we’re out of coffee cupcakes. Robotnik: Well, no more coffee cupcakes then, big deal! [People start leaving the café.] Robotnik: Huh…? No, no, wait! Don't leave! …Crap, when Stone gets back, he’s going to kill me… Brayden, we need to make the cupcakes ourselves. You wrote down the recipe, right??? Brayden: No, since it was Shadow’s recipe, I let him handle it. Robotnik: …Okay. No problem. Give me the recipe book. [Brayden hands it over, and Robotnik starts smacking himself in the forehead with it.] Robotnik: Dang me, dang me and dang me!!!!!!!

Soundwave x Reader SFW/NSFW Headcanons
Tumblr media
Summary - Soundwave and human conjunx Headcanons. NSFW under the "Keep Reading".
Warnings - Valveplug, Exhibitionism
SFW
~ When you were taken from the ship, Soundwave grew attached immediately from how you treated Lazerbeak.
~ Soundwave is a very loving conjunx, even if he doesn't show it to anybody on the ship. It makes people think you are neglected all the time, but what they don't know is that it is the exact opposite.
~ Leaving to go to work? Do not worry, Soundwave would ground bridge you there. Needing more groceries? Dude, he could just order online for you for free.
~ Anytime you kiss him on the hand or face, holy crap that man will be thinking about it for the rest of his day. He has secretly took pictures and videos of your sweetest moments with him, so anytime he is stressed or down, he watches his recordings to give him more motivation.
~ Since he watched the security camera's 24/7, he will know when someone is being mean to you. The 3rd in command would deal with it himself the next day and you will never see that horrible mech ever again.
~ Researched everything about human culture to make sure anything you said wasn't confusing to him. Yes, he knows slang. No, he will not use it…that is embarrassing.
~ Megatron does not understand the human pet Soundwave acquired but Soundwave planned for this and has made literal PowerPoints for his leader on why you are useful to him.
~ Soundwave has never really cuddled before, so when you hugged him while he worked and nuzzled on his cheek…he is now craving your touch every second you are gone. He will give you every sad face he can send to you until you hug/kiss him again.
~ His tendrils would be so fun. You would play with them all the time and try to catch them when you thought he was distracted by his computer. Why did you always fall for him pretending to work? You are the reason why the Decepticons have late paperwork and reports from 2 weeks ago.
~ Would shut down a bank to give you everything you desire. He would never judge you for what you want.
NSWF
~ Speaking of what you want. If you are a crazy sex freak, he would give you that. If you are more casual and not care about sex as much, Soundwave would still love and care for all your other needs.
~ Soundwave of course would use his tendrils to please you. I think we all know those things are his best quality.
~ Public Sex? Soundwave would be confused at first on why you would want to do it on his desk, but after the first time he would never question you again. Hiding you from soldiers while fondling your chest with his hands should not be as fun as it is.
~ LOVES your body and caresses everywhere you want him to touch. Him feeling how soft humans are would make him question why Megatron hates organics.
~ You in cute outfits sends him over the edge. Soundwave loved the clothes that humans made and seeing you in rich, beautiful outfits makes him hungry.
~ His spike is average size but to you that is still big as hell so yes he would have to mass displace if you wanted to get real touchy with him.
~ Remember Soundwave craving your touch? Well, don't get him started on you touching his spike. 4 million years of the war made him realize how touch starved and sensitive he was. You can feel him shaking while he recorded everything you did to his shaft.
~ If you tried to be a little shit and do something he told you not to do…yeah you would not be able to get out of bed the next day. Look he will always be nice and gentle with you, but the moment you get naughty on purpose is when you became the bottom in the relationship.
~ He would use his tendrils, tie you up, and abuse your lower half for HOURS!
~ Soundwave is use to not sleeping for 24 hours, so you better have had a goodnight sleep last night, because this will not end until you can't even make noises anymore.
~ He is a master of Aftercare and would bathe you, wrap you up in the softest blankets, and let you sleep soundly. The only thing you would hear before dozing off is the clicking of the computer he was using to finish his work.
