Idk what kind of trouble Frankie's ex-husband is, what danger he poses to her and others that might get in his way, but I'm interested in this mess now! And Ivan is great at solving messes lol And please, if Ivanesca sails, make it so that Bruno finds out about them! Maybe bc Jacob slips about them during one of their convos and he gets even more miserable and depressed! Oh, I'm such a messy bitch. Imagine if Jacob and Jude gossip about each other's dads? "I accidentally told him your dad is going out with Frankie..." "HUH?" "I know. But he... he just sat there like a stone and stared at me for a while. Then said 'he deserves to be happy.' and that was that." And in the following weeks we follow Jude as he fights the demons and the shadow people and the bloodsucking monsters to decide whether or not he should tell Ivan that that happened lol But seriously, idk what you're gonna do with him. He chose to go back to that life but I'm done with the mafia story. Sorry, but I am. I'd be happy if Bruno only showed up to talk with Jacob when he goes to visit him to vent about his teenage life, but I know that won't be just that, so... good luck sorting that guy out and how you'll handle the new side of this mafia again. Personally, I'd just dip Bruno headfirst in boiling oil. Yes, he's handsome. Yes, the most handsome of all your characters. None can hold a candle to him. Your people can fight this all they want, but even me, his official hater, know it's a FACT. And it's too bad because he's trash. So, I guess... Stay strong, Becca. Or consider the boiling oil.

Thoughts on V3NOM

This 1 feels very Rushed to say the least, like aside from all the cool backstory with Knull and the Symbiotes, this 1 feels the most Weaker Story wise, like Don't get me wrong it's a GOOD movie, but in my opinion, it could've been WAYY better.

Like there are so many things that I feel could've been expanded upon more if given more time, like the fact that Eddie doesn't even feel like a character anymore, instead now being a Plot device that is just meant to get “Venom” from point A to point B, to the fact that shit that feels like it's gonna go somewhere DOESN'T, to even the fact that Knull, THE MAIN VILLAIN OF THE MOVIE, doesn't even FEEL like a looming threat, which is really BAFFLING in my opinion; I haven't read King in Black o I don't  really know that much about him but if you tell  me that he's supposed to be the BE All END All type of Villain, than I expect to see it, like this is supposed to be the GOD of Symbiotes yet the “Scariest” thing this guy's done, is just sit in a chair Menacinly and send minions the entire movie. (I guess bro took a page out thanos's book on how to NOT be Menacing) like I wanna see what exactly makes him So terrifying to begin with. 

Another thing that bothered me is how WASTED everything feels, like this is supposed to be the FINAL Movie, yet things don't feel fulfilled or resolved, so many questions are lingering still, Eddie's relationship with Anne hasn't gotten better, in fact she feels like an Afterthought at this point, and characters and Plot points that feel like their going to have a Major impact, DON'T. Oh and does even get me STARTED on how the Symbiotes were handled in this movie, like here I was, ready to get excited to see Lasher, Toxin, and  the other Symbiotes make their Debut and hopefully kick some ass, and they all get Effing WASHED like yesterday's laundry, LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL F%*K Sony!? Also how you gonna give us effing Agony before SCREAM, the better female and better looking Symbiote in my opinion.

And another thing, im sorry but am I the only 1 that seems to remember that the Symbiotes have the ability to make clothes, like there's a scene in the Trailer where Eddie's wearing a Black tux and i originally thought that this was their way of showing that the Symbiote made him clothes, which isn't really seen that much,other than a few cartoons incorporating it along the Insomniac Spiderman games, and I thought this would be the PERFECT opportunity for that, but No, instead it was just cuz venom knocked a dude out and Jacked him of his clothes, which IS funny but C'MON!

1 thing I absolutely Loved tho about this movie was how they Humanized The Symbiotes, like they actually feel like peaceful creatures who are just trying to look for a New home, and people tend to forget about that, like aside from OG Venom and Carnage the Symbiotes aren't really all that Evil, they're just misunderstood and I'm really glad Sony chose to focus on that, So ya earn a Gold star there Sony, however, I just wish they had more time to flesh out the Symbiotes because aside from venom, they LITERALLY almost all feel and act the same, Maybe if they had more personality I'd like them more but so far, they literally either all SOUND the same, or ACT the same, and that's kinda sucky considering each Symbiote in the comics Has their own personality, like Venom is a goofball who only really is Evil because of his Hatred towards Spiderman, other than that he's just a chocolate loving monster who loves surf the Web and Apparently Sing Strangers in Night, Meanwhile Carnage on ther hand is a PSYCHOPATHIC killer, who ENJOYS what he does, he enjoys KILLING just because he can, and it really shows if ya read Absolute Carnage; I didn't really enjoy how they handled Carnage in Venom 2 mainly because I'm So used to Carnage acting a certain way and because I mainly know Carnage through the original spider man Ps1 game and through the Original Spider man 90s animated show, but it was better than nothing I guess. ^^; (Still, I just WISH he didn't SOUND like that, because I'm sorry that's NOT Carnage)

The last 2 movies felt more like HOMAGES to whatever came before, mainly 90s stuff from Lethal Protector, to Maximum Carnage, all the way to the Life foundation, they all just really felt like something you'd probably see back then in the early to mid 2000s, just some fun movies to watch with Simple direction, and Ok Storytelling, you MAY not get it, but you'd STILL enjoy it, THIS ONE however, felt more like it was trying to be more modern, and trying to setup too many things as possible, while also leaving you kinda *Disappointed* to say?  I don't know it just felt like it was missing something and I don't really like that because while the last 2 movies felt complete and actually did resolve things, this 1 just felt more like that 1 spongebob scene in the lost episode, where patchy just looks at the Tv and says “That's it?” It feels like uh like a Hollow shell compared to the last ones. That isn't to say it's a BAD movie, it's just not a FULFILLING one, it feels like there's more left, especially with that Shadowy figure we kept seeing talk to general Strickland the entire movie, and we might Never see what that more left was, considering this is the LAST movie. If I had to Rank these films,  it would be in the most Bland and usual way possible,  with Venom 1 being in 1st place, Venom 2 being in 2nd place, Venom3 being in 3rd place, all movies are GOOD, it's just that this 1 feels the most Weaker compared to the others; But anyway that's just what I think, what about You, did you enjoy Venom the Last dance, or were you Disappointed ?

CR3: EPISODE 63 SPOILERS

I'm literally losing my mind rn guys

i haven't even finished the episode yet as im typing this, currently ashton is holding laudna as she cries on their shoulder after she sucked the life out of bor'dor.

i always had the suspicion that bor'dor wasn't telling the truth or telling a version of the truth, but i never really talked about it cause everyone was throwing out theories. i had an...inkling that he was connected to ludinus or just ruidus in general, and i was right in a way.

him being ruby vanguard is devastating but not surprising. it connected so many things that i chose to brush off cause i didn't want to seem paranoid. a specific moment being bor'dor killing the angel of the dawn father. during that scene, the way matt described the look in that angel's eyes as it died did not match the way that bor'dor retold it and i thought i had just...forgotten how the actual scene played out. now that i know, even tho i haven't rewatched that episode, i have a feeling that the hatred and righteous judgement i remembered was the accurate version.

i don't think bor'dor is bad, simply because i have no way to come to that conclusion when i know how easy it is to let fear and pain and anger drive you to vengeance -- the hellians are feeling it too, and i feel deep compassion for them so i feel for bor'dor too.

for all of ludinus' preachy bullshit he never gave me the impression that he gave a single fuck about the people who followed him or about the lives he ruined to accomplish his goal. i don't think bor'dor was some big wig, i think he was just a kid who was vulnerable and powerful and easily coerced. i do not think he is without blame -- his actions with the ruby vanguard have led to incomprehensible repercussions for everyone on exandria and outside of exandria too. (bear in mind, we don't even know how the apple bee's soul cycle has affected the fey realm -- or any other realms for that matter).

i think that there was no way bor'dor could have survived this night with the way it went. i don't think there could have been a moment where he snuck away. if he got a lucky roll, maybe. i don't think bor'dor died because /he/ was an unforgivable monster.

he died because laudna, ashton and orym were at their breaking point and none of them wanted to pull each other from that place of hatred and anger. they've spoken about feeling powerless -- terrified and angry at the situation they were forced into when they truly have nothing to do with ludinus' anger at the gods. orym, especially, has been struggling with his grief and his stubbornness, and this moment will have effects on all of them for these upcoming battles and hardships.

laudna. jesus christ. im so upset that delilah is back. or at least pieces of her are thriving inside laudna, seemingly every time she uses her necrotic magic. for a single moment, she felt delilah's complete control over herself and other people in a situation where laudna had no idea what to do and how to get shit done, and as soon as delilah had nothing left of bor'dor to scavenge off of, laudna was back to feeling weak.

i can't even process the lore drops of ashton's heritage and his father and the history of the hishari and the fact that abadina WAS an hishari ???? they need to go that cursed town soon or im gonna lose it. hell, maybe they're already headed there.

deni$e might say she didn't care whether bor'dor lived or died but i know that isn't true because she was a) the only person who didn't actually hurt him and b) she was trying the entire time to get the others to at least interrogate him. i don't think that would work for multiple reasons. bor'dor was yeeted to kingdom come so bor'dor would likely not have anything useful for them atp, and also bor'dor is absolutely not nearly as important to ludinus as they need him to be.

im gonna miss utkarsh 😭

i think that maybe if bells hells was together, he'd live. but ashton, laudna and orym are too... there's something dangerous about these three being separated from their people. dangerous for themselves mentally and for anyone who stands in their way. i NEED bells hells to be reunited again.

it's sad that the characters with such a strong history of loss and betrayal and abandonment and grief and loss of control would have the traitor amongst them. there is nothing that bor'dor could say that would lessen the pain orym feels having lost his husband and his father, of him and his friends being killed by a cruel, vicious comrade of ludinus', of the tempest being trapped /because/ orym was the one who led her straight into it. the gods are all good and well, but i don't think it will EVER be about the gods for orym. i won't say he's correct or in the right for his narrowed vision and hardened heart. he took that locket for a reason, and throwing it aside is a calculated disposal of that inherently inconvenient empathy orym has for people around him. he can't afford to feel. not now.

Headcanons: Roller Ricky General and Relationship Headcanons

A/N: Yes, I know I got done with a whole x reader fic with this man recently, but I got more ideas. This will include expansions on headcanons I mentioned in the fic and ones I didn’t. And yes, some of these will be relationship headcanons because I can’t help myself lol. That’s all for today. Bye!

🛼-It is implied that Roller Ricky would be in his mid-late thirties at the time of the game, but if I were to give him a specific age, I would say that he is 36-37 years old

🛼-He absolutely loves animals, and he occasionally volunteers at an animal shelter near Gallows Creek. While he has a preference for dogs, he doesn’t mind cats. Especially kittens, they are a close second to puppies when it comes to “warming his heart”

🛼-Speaking of animals, I should probably mention Maxy since he and Ricky are a package deal. I headcanon Max as being a German Shepherd. Idk why, that was just the first dog breed that comes to mind when I think of him

🛼-Ricky has a bunch of fun shirts that he sometimes dresses Max in. He even has some matching shirts of his own

🛼-Though he obviously doesn’t play the sport anymore, Ricky still enjoys watching football. He even bought a jersey of his favorite team for Maxy

🛼-While of course he loves roller disco, he also enjoys going on drives with Max in the front seat as a way to clear his head or get away from Gallows Creek for a bit

🛼-I can see him and Sandra being on good terms. While he’s not as crazy about jazzercise like she is, he doesn’t mind jogging with her from time to time

🛼-I see Ricky as being bisexual with a 50-50 spilt preference for men and women

🛼-This is because he is just looking for a person that he can hang out and have fun with. He wants someone who he can wake up with in the morning and go to bed with at night. Someone that he could see himself growing old with, and it doesn’t matter if that person is a man or a woman

🛼-This man is a massive cuddle bug. No one can tell me otherwise. Now, obviously he knows there is a time and a place for snuggling up with you and will respect your wishes on the matter, but if your down, he’ll be down. He also makes adjustments based on if you are shorter than him, taller than him, or the same height as him (I see him being 5′ 10″ / 178 cm)

🛼-While he does have his preferences when it comes to music, he’s not a music snob. If you listen to a genre or artist he’s not the biggest fan of, he’s not gonna tell you that “it sucks”. He’s more than happy that you can hear something in a song that he can’t

🛼-Speaking of music, Ricky will definitely make a relationship mixtape that contains songs that are significant to both of you

🛼-Dancing with him at the roller rink when it’s just you, him, and Max. That’s all. Just imagine that

🛼-This man is so good with kids. While he offers lessons for both adults and children alike, he often finds himself teaching kids. He’s encouraging, fun, and patient, which makes children like him. He also knows just what to say to calm down a kid that hurt themself or are getting discouraged at constantly falling over

🛼-All I’m saying is that if you and Ricky decided to have kids whether it be through adoption or ,if possible, getting you pregnant, he’s gonna be such a sweet dad  ❤️

🛼-As we know, he is apparently not too good with keeping secrets, so he would accidently tell you if he was going to propose to you. He’ll feel terrible about it, but you couldn’t care less. You’re happy to be his fiancé no matter how he pops the question 

🛼-His favorite movie genre is comedy, but he can sit through mostly anything. He’s not the biggest fan of horror movies. Especially ones that involve a masked psycho killing people. You can imagine why that might be a bit triggering for him. He’s cool with Universal monster movies like Dracula or Frankenstein tho

🛼-Ricky has a preference for spicy foods. I mean, he loves food in general, but the way to his heart is any dish with a bit of a kick to it

🛼-His love language is quality time. He loves spending time with you whether you’re going out to eat, taking Max for a walk, dancing with him at the roller rink, or just simply staying inside and watching TV

I just saw the trailer for the next Cult of the Lamb update and I'm having fuuuun/devious glee.

Sidenote but it'll be coming out a few days before my b-day so that's great! (I totally didn't need anymore signs from the gods that I need irl friends before I snap hehooo)

So, regarding the alternate universe vessel character.

(so far I've seen like 5 names that I love to death but I have a feeling I know the one in particular that is gonna settle before the others get considered. I could make a list if anyone wants to debate 'cause fandoms can settle Fast and I think there's some potential for layered contrast and just settling for the easy option would be disappointing. But I'm not the biggest fan anyway so maybe I shouldn't be so arrogant about it.)

I noticed how they were wearing purple robes and were often in purple lighting, obviously, the way everyone else did, but something might be wrong with my eyes cuz their crown colour seemed like, straight-up blue to me? I do have an eye injury atm so maybe that's legit. Seemed kinda glaring tho/pos

So now I've got two diverging paths I'm *scrawling* over/pos:

1- AU where Shamura is the one bound in chains (and Narinder the role of think no evil) and the player character serves the god of War instead of Death.

Look, the animatics just write themselves. Any God of War scene? You can warp and adapt. Also, the "Warrior of the Mind" animatic for anyone who got obsessed with Fate: the Musical recently. It's just potential!

I also like the idea of instead of the dynamic being black cat x deceptively wholesome shepherd, it's intellectual spider x scruffy goat with a knife.

On the OTHER hand, hear me out,

2- Kallamar & Narinder roleswap AU. This could have the personalities swap version (something something scaredy-cat), or a fun to imagine scenario where Kallamar became jaded enough to the point of nearly paralleling Narinder in formidable vengefulness while also having been just as much of a coward in the past. Basically he grew some courage but at what cost?

This would probably mean that Narinder stayed however he was before the betrayal and imprisonment, probably being the one to lose his ears, and maybe taking the role in the narrative as the sibling to run from the Goat after the two younger gods got taken out and the middle child realized he was next? I can't imagine Narinder throwing Shamura under the bus like that, maybe it was more like a "you can't kill me, it'll fuck everything up! You have to spare me or the last fight will take place in an even more fucked-up apocalyptic hellscape!").

If Narinder was still the one to first express discontent with Death, wonder how Sickness being restrained in the afterlife affected Narinder's situation... Or what if Narinder was like Shamura, and the two were conspirators, instead of Death by War it was Death by Plague? And Death stayed free but went deaf or insane? What would Kallamar have to gain from the idea of breaking past his cosmic role, thinking "okay but what if, immortality was an option?" remixed to be uh, maybe something to do with health? Immunity? Something bordering Frankenstein as an affront to nature?

As you can see I'm putting thoughts and curiosity into both ideas, the only thing I kinda hope becomes mainstream fanon is that the Goat is a bit like Lamb's opposite - wheras one is welcoming and soft but capable of horrors at night, and of course being a badass monster fighter - contrasted with an equally small and powerful but ig more unhinged-seeming up close for the first couple interactions (probably recruited individuals with a pitch like "look I'm the one with the weapon here, so you're gonna wanna get behind me even if you don't trust me with access to things") but then shows glimpses of a heart of gold that makes followers feel safe enough to stay. As well as a sense of responsibility and like, actual leadership skills lol.

Just, Sheep / Goat religious allegories make me very sad and I think this silly little game would make me feel better about things.

I can't WAIT to see how Bamsara handles this update. We gettin' the multiverse canon? Hopefully it doesn't get too crazy, and we stick with just the two purple/blue and red characters for a little while.

I wonder what other satanic animals could be vessels? Wolf, definitely, donkey makes sense also, and pig is usually ascribed with gluttony but there's something that could be done with cleanliness or intelligence but percieved otherwise... I also think there's something that could be done with birds though, like I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that the Mourning Dove is angel coded, much like the Lamb. Could just be the Dove also, though I was kinda hoping that the Symbol of World Peace wouldn't be a drect Christian symbol, which was a wishful hope.

Um... yeah! Just wanted to get my thoughts out! And there's a certain other goatlike character who's been occupying my thoughts recently, dw, I'll get to that soon. I'll explain then.

um. I don't know if this is a function so I'm not even gonna try lol but I hope I remember to come back to see Bamsara's initial reaction to the alternate universe implicated update! Oh yeah and a daycare centre, that's a relief for everyone involved whoof! Hope there's an NPC willing to take up the job, and who would of course enjoy being around kids.

Stuff about the paracosm

My main paracosm, Your Average FNF AU (YAFAU) is, as you can probably tell by the name, a Friday Night Funkin' AU. The name is likely to be replaced in the future. However, it's more of a blanket paracosm with two major canon sub-paracosms.

FNF: Go Out-sides

FNF: Go Out-Sides is basically an AU of base-game FNF. The name is a pun on those remix mods that have names like B-sides, C-sides, etc. If I were to write it down, it would probably be an FNF mod or an animatic series, alongside some side-comics. It'd also be pretty episodic, but still have some traces of an overarching plot. This sub-paracosm is the "main plot" of the paracosm and is a revamped version of the story that was initially conceived.

Your Average Corruption Retelling

Your Average Corruption Retelling, or YACR, is a prequel to Go Out-sides taking place 3 years earlier. It's more based around the Corruption Mod. (<- recommended watching for this blog btw) If I were to write it down, it would probably be an animatic series. It would start off as a monster of the week type of series, but halfway through the underlying plot that was only foreshadowed up to that point would become apparent. Even though this sub-paracosm is a prequel to GOS, it's more lore-heavy than GOS.

I'll probably tell you more about the plots of these two stories as you follow the blog, so keep your eyes out and feel free to ask me anything!

ok so i watched 2007 movie for the first time (ive read about it and seen some scenes, but never watched the whole thing) anyways finally got a hold of myself and watched it! Specially bc of 3 reasons

Thinking out loud here part 2 the comeback - Like the only thing I miss is a more mature mikey I think? Summer Games Fest 2024

Holy fuck if that shit wasn't putting me to sleep and it wasn't even because it started at 11pm over here. No offence to those devs and all but most of the stuff was Boring with capital b. Audience either didn't care bout most things showcased or was just asleep too cause that was just sad. also worth noteing i feel like i might get the Retopo done for the B-Models as well as the rhomaleosaurus model during the december month(Depending on how far i got with my project) as well as maybe blockout the saurolophus, Tricreatops and Dryosaurus and if im willing to after this sculpting mission of mine, even sculpt them too,

also i MIGHT Retopo Alex and Conner Sully at some piont as im doing all these sculpts and blockouts just so i can get them done too tho we´ll see about that, over all good planning is everything here on my 3rd try at bringing Jurassica Safari Park to life, so either i´ll Retopo Alex and Conner Alongside the T-Rex and Stego or i will do it inbetween the sculpts.

One time in B clearing we were all making bracelets and other crafts around the campfire.. we used a few pretty rocks and such for them too, and it aproached me with a shiny smooth-ish rock.. vaguely shaped like a heart. It said it had found it there while looking for other stuff to use.. and thought I should have it :)! I put said rock on a bracelet and wore it all the time <3

We started "dating" in B clearing aswell. Back then we didnt really have the right terms but kinda confessed and explained to eachother how we felt and how it was like weirdly not romantic but also not like friends and everyone just agreed "ah yes secret third thing!" ... it was queerplatonic- lmao. Also we had more of a situationship than a relationship cause how we behaved around eachother really depended on our situation n such..

It wasnt big on PDA. Actually it hated it... and I respected that honestly! But there was the occasional hand holding... sometimes it just defending me verbally was enough. Yes, it was quick to violence which I didn't agree with, but I honestly felt genuinly safe around it. It would always stand up for me and defend my name with tooth and nail. (Pun intended..) Made me feel really appreciated :]! So loyal <3

It was such a good friend, too. Super fun to have around! But specially can always trust it with things, it was super helpful and made all my duties as a leader so much more easier! It was rlly community oriented and I really appreciated it for that. Specially cause I could tell it put the efford into being so nice to others, and it really liked our friends.

I remember in one timeline where admitedly halo boy was way more okay than in other of my canons- I was still mad at him for being rude and an asshole to my sister... He treated Graecie so horrible and she didn't even realize cus he acted all "nice" and stuff afterwards.. grr... ANYWAYS but about Krow.. Yeah so I was mad and taking my anger out on a training dummy Owen had outside his house. Krow found me and offered to go into the maze to kill some monsters and get my rage out for real!! So we did :D! We were okay dw. But erm yeah I hope Owen doesnt see this (we legit went in w/o telling anyone or flipping our levers.. oops..) BUT I HAD SO MUCH FUN!! It was a great way to let out my emotions without harming anyone :]

I remember watching the stars with it.. specially back in our clearing, but even in A we sat down sometimes together and would cuddle with a blanket and hot cocoa outside and just watch the night sky, away from everyone else..

We were one of those more "rom looking" qprs... cus in our more private and affectionate moments we'd hold hands, hug, cuddle and even kiss.. yes on the lips... it was so soft tho<3 hehehe

Owen, even before going crazyyyyyy, didn't rlly like Krow... he didnt want us to hang out too much at times cus of how violent and opinionated Krow was.. oh boy who's gonna tell him... giggles!!

Keep reading added because the answers to these questions are fairly detailed...

My current WIP is a series based off of a one shot I wrote about Palpatine being a total creep and manipulating Anakin. It was pretty well received so it spawned something I've been working on for almost a year now. So far it stands at 4 unpublished works (3 of which I have written something for), about the galaxy being saved by... I am gonna have to say 'the power of friendship' as Anakin becomes closer to Rex, then the 501st, and he becomes much more mentally healthy and less manipulatable. Palpatine is pretty pissed about this.

It's not gonna be published for a while due to life commitments meaning my writing schedule is super super sporadic :(

5. Top 5 formative books?

Bears in the Night by Jan and Stan Berenstein - I wrote my first fic based off of this at six years old, it then went off on a tangent, the bears were only relevant in my first 'book', and I spawned many OCs that became fully fledged characters in their own right, and some of those OCs are even present in my writing today ^^

The famous 5 by Enid Blyton - I can't read those books now but they had an immense impact on my writing as a kid and also the character of George had the side effect of me being very pro trans rights at nine years old (years before I had heard of the term 'trans')

The Declaration by Gemma Malley - I read this too young and was pretty affected by it but wow was this a very good book and a good series.

A Little Princess by Frances Hogston Burnett - this really spoke to me and affected how i think about the world. The kindness and hope and imagination prevalent throughout the book was very important to me.

The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett - introduced me to the world of Terry Pratchett at nine years old. I dressed up as Tiffany on world book day and came to school with an actual frying pan in an apron my mum made me so that I could fight monsters with it.

13. Describe your writing process

I generally don't know the ending of a fic when I begin it, but as I get into it I will map out the key events. I will normally bullet point key events I need to write in a chapter. If I am really struggling to write I will just write all the dialogue and then go back and edit all the description etc. around the points of dialogue.

I used to publish a new chapter as soon as I had written it, but given how frantic my life is I am now trying to write a whole fic before I do so, to avoid any repeats of A Quiet Normal Life, which I wrote many chapters to, and then haven't touched in 2 or 3 years because stuff happened, I lost momentum, and was hit by writers block.

21. What aspect of your writing are you most proud of?

I am really not sure to be honest! It tends to vary between fandom and genre. Normally, it is characterisation and the ability to get into characters' heads, but when I write certain characters I just kinda shrug and hope the characterisation is not too OOC as I have no idea!

B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

Normally, just certain aspects of what I write inspired by feelings I have about things (eg. I realised a bit into writing 'The Monster Under the Bed' that I was pulling Loki's fear of being discovered as a Frost Giant from my fear of losing everyone due to my sexuality). I wrote 'Merit' due to personal experience tho, one of my lecturers was awful to me, so I shoved all of my feelings onto Marisa and then made her experience worse, for catharsis.

G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

I try to write from start to finish, otherwise things are less likely to get finished, but I will write scenes out of order if i am inspired or am really struggling with a scene.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

W: Do you like more general prompts, or more specific ones? I will do either, I don't think I have ever received prompts, but I would be very happy to!

This is COMPLETELY spot on. I agree 10000% and I have seen the saga this way the first time I read it at age 12. THANK YOUUUU. The Team Jacobs of the twilight fandom get shit on. They drove me off the Reddit & people are generally really fucking mean about it. You know it’s so fucked up tho cause I see the other books they read or movies they watch & they stan characters who have done MUCH worse than Jacob Black. It really blows my mind. For example, I was chatting w someone who happened to be a Stan of the Shatter Me series. Everyone obsesses over the book boyfriend Aaron Warner. I only read the first book & He’s a rich white dude who literally abused the character. I like this series of books too btw but it’s just FUNNY.. she then immediately went on a rant about Jacob when I mentioned I’m into Twilight. Like what’s that? Seems like racism to me. I really can’t think of what else it could be. Jacob is not a monster or a villain or an insufferable character. Jacob is over 100 years younger than Edward & literally has more common sense. He is the most real character & most enjoyable to read about in the entire series. He is the obvious better choice for Bella. He GETS HER!! In my opinion I guess lol.

I’m honestly kind of sick of having to constantly explain myself why I’m team Jacob to people just in real life or online. It’s like.. but no one questions other characters. Kind of bizarre. I think it’s easy for a lot of people to just go with the narrative.. to be brainwashed just like Bella is. I considered myself Team Switzerland for a while bc honestly it kind of sucks being part of the fandom that people just shit on & just call you a “SA apologist” for. Yet no one is saying shit to Team Edward people as much at all. I also like the idea of vampire/human romance & can appreciate B&E for nostalgia reasons but like at the core of it, they are a TOXIC relationship & Twilight is inherently a TRAGEDY, not a romance. It just is.

Edward IS the villain. He’s also the least likable character after New Moon. Boring, pretentious, old asf. Sure he has charm… but most abusers do. He is the epitome of grooming, stalking abuser. The point that you made about the fact that Jacob simply just wants Bella to get out of this shit alive is something I do not see brought up enough. I don’t think a lot of people see this or understand his perspective. Even SMEYER wrote a New Moon summary in his POV for people to understand his side better. Edward is like a drug to Bella & readers. So they can’t see that Jacob is a fucking teenage boy who’s life is completely uprooted because of his ENEMY. Sure the vampires are “dead” but still alive and learning. Edward is 117 years old pursuing someone under the age of 18. In the books, he refers to her friends of the same age as “children” multiple times. You cannot make this shit up. If he wasn’t perfect or handsome or dazzling then guess what…. He’d be in jail! ON MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS! “It ain’t that deep tho it’s just a fantasy book.” So they only like to point out problematic shit when it doesn’t involve vampires cause they’re excused. It’s a fantasy novel in all of those conversations with excuses but nope not with Jacob! Now suddenly it’s a very serious book and Jacob is a very bad person and if you like him then SO ARE YOU! when you bring up Jacob they then seem to suddenly care about Bella being abused.

Ok that was a rant and a half but that’s what I do on here. LMAO.

Perhaps it’s because I dissect this saga & see all of Meyer’s HORRID choices, but I legitimately do not understand people can be so pro edward & anti Jacob. I also do not understand how it’s the majority of the fandom. Like, DID WE READ THE SAME BOOKS????

DELTARUNE Chapter 2 Thoughts!!!

WOOO OKAY I stayed up WAY too late trying to finish Deltarune Chapter 2 last night!! It took me awhile because I suck at video games, but I finally did it!

While I normally type up commentary as I play first time, I didn’t get the chance to do that here, so I’ll get down all my general thoughts here!

Unspoilery thoughts: loved it, knew I would, will need to replay soon to see what all I missed, and am excited for whatever’s next!

SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 2 under the cut!!

(These are just as I think of them, not in any particular order!)

Okay overall I can see why this took two years and a much larger team to complete, the second chapter is SO much more expansive and heavy on scene-specific animations! It all looks SO GOOD

I already love Susie but now I love her even more, her expressions were SO GOOD

Susie has a (little nubby) tail confirmed?? That’s adorable

Okay this game is definitely reading the chapter 1 data, which I find interesting because I didn’t obtain it through Steam last time

But like, I gave the “Susie eats chalk” response to Noelle last time, and in chapter two she gave Susie the box of chalk, so awwww!

Also I missed Onionsan in my initial computer playthrough, so they didn’t show up this time, just got a moment of Susie and Kris sitting by the river together!

I find it REALLY interesting that while Ralsei is a Darkner, apparently he can jump around to other Dark Worlds whereas other Darkners like Lancer and Rouxls can’t so much…hmmm!

It was so nice to see everyone filling out the town now, though!

Noooo Susie probably doesn’t have her own room at home, awwww

Kris just casually jumping up to the classroom and bringing everyone back tho, perfect

Was right on there being multiple dark worlds in other locations, but honestly that part’s the least surprising to me, that always seemed like a pretty standard path to take!

The werewires were creepy and great; difficult to battle tho

QUEEN IS MY NEW FAVORITE

EVERY LINE OF HERS WAS A+

I’m so glad that I didn’t really go anywhere with Jevil’s line about the Queen in PT; nothing I came up with could’ve topped Queen being an absolute acid trip of an antagonist in this chapter

NOELLE SO SWEET

Her lil’ robot disguise! Her being afraid of mice at first!

I kinda wish we could have had her in the party more? She was super useful as a party member, honestly!

But sadly I guess we’re not gonna get more than the three-person party, awww

B E R D L Y

I cannot believe Berdly basically became incel Falco but also had a sympathetic backstory

Like I laughed a lot at all of Berdly’s expressions and dialogue while also going BERDLY YOU ARE THE WORST

Noelle’s WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? part = A+

I feel like Queen’s relationship with Noelle definitely had some uncomfy parallels with probably how she is dealing with her real mom

I AM NOT GOOD AT PUNCH-OUT AND THERE WAS A LOT OF THAT

I somehow missed the part where Susie is wearing Ralsei’s glasses??? Where is this

Also in general there was a LOT of puzzles and gameplay in the overworld map, which I was bad at but was also very cool

Also I cannot believe Susie has (at least) two people crushing on her and is just totally oblivious to it

There’s SO Many interesting HMM moments with Kris and that definitely included the entire acid tunnel of love scene with Kris and Ralsei

Interrupted of course by an appropriately silly Rouxls battle

But man the more we see (or often DON’T see) of Ralsei the more intriguing it gets

LET NOELLE RIDE IN THE TEACUP RIDE WITH SUSIE

I just knew going back to get that chest without Noelle would be something dumb

OKAY I ended up dying a lot to 1) the Mauswheel, and 2) the color-changing butlers?? So I ended up having to do the whole sequence with annoying dog blasting through everything in his path multiple times

I DID feel bad for Berdly during that boss battle where he was werewired; that was nice and body horror-ish

That said… “I NEED A KISS FROM A GAMER GIRL”

The giant mecha boss battle absolutely kicked my ass, though

Like it WAS badass but that took me a LOT of tries to get through

My thrash machine was very GUN’S

Overall the difficulty curve was definitely stepped up from chapter 1!

LOTS MORE DARK WORLD AND KNIGHT LORE FROM RALSEI HERE

And lots of talk about Noelle being pretty important to it, too!

I’m glad I got to bring Susie on the walkaround this time around town!

SUSIE STAYING AT KRIS’S PLACE FOR A SLEEPOVER WAS SO SWEET

IMMEDIATELY UNDERCUT BY KRIS GOING FERAL AGAIN

Like I dunno the whole scenario somehow managed to be both REALLY sinister and very funny at once??

Susie and Toriel are busy laughing and making a pie together, meanwhile Kris just sneaks the hell out and slashes Toriel’s tires because it’s KNIVES OUT TIME

Please let Susie watch more giant monster (and giant human) movies with her friends, she needs this
