Tumblr media
you never saw yourself as the type to get on a plane at the drop of a hat just to get railed silly by your girlfriend, but you’ve been learning a lot about yourself these past few months.
and one thing that’s made itself apparent? you and violet were fucking whipped for each other.
obviously it was to be expected, over six months in and this had been both of your longest relationship yet. you both made the time and effort to make sure it continued to be so, constantly spending quality time together and making sure boundaries were respected and desires were met.
it seemed that as everyday passed your shared devotion just increased tenfold.
as well as your… equal amounts of passion.
it was almost silly to look back and remember how you were so nervous that intimacy would change something in how she saw you. you don’t regret waiting and setting that boundary for yourself, but after the first few times together you really wish you had started sleeping with her earlier.
obviously sex wasn’t the only reason you loved violet. she was an amazing lover in every sense of the word, always ever so affectionate and caring to your physical and emotional well-being. you constantly told her you’re sure her clear superiority at being an older sister made her such a sweetheart, always protecting and looking out for you even when it wasn’t needed.
but it was only a matter of time before vi’s skills and charisma in the ring caught up to her, and before both of you knew it she had greatly increased in popularity to the point she was booking matches in other cities, occasionally leaving you along for weekends when she had to stay overnights to train and perform.
and you over it for the first couple of times. it wasn’t the end of the world when the two do you had to be separated, and when you got lonely there were always other ways you could be there for each other.
“how much longer until your back?”
“aww, don’t tell me my baby’s missing me already?” vi’s mocking voice rings through the receiver, groggy and low after falling asleep an hour prior before you called.
“can you blame me? normally i have you all over me every saturday night like clockwork, now i’m all alone in this bed. in my underwear. alone.”
she chuckled at your brazenness and audibly shifted herself over the phone. “oh yeah? maybe i could help you with that. wouldn’t mind staying up to help you…”
you hum playfully. “then maybe i could give you a visual guide?”
as soon as she hears the incoming face-time call vi’s eyes briefly close in bliss. god, does she adore you.
and of course having vi guide you through masturbating from miles away for the first time is a thrilling experience, but it still leaves a slight ache in your cunt heart to not have her by your side as often as you once did.
but when you saw the radiant look on her face on television after she won a fight, heard the joy in her voice when she called you as soon as she walked off of the platform, you didn’t have it in you to bring up your silly complaints about not having her by your side twenty four seven. she was finally living her dream, and you wouldn’t cause her any worries about balancing it with you.
so you’d shut up, use her flexing mirror pics to get off, and be patient. it shouldn’t be hard, you’re an independent woman and completely secure in your relationship.
well. maybe just independent.
a big company wanted vi as a sponsor and set up a schedule for her to fly out to film promotional material for nearly five weeks. your girlfriend was intuitive, asking you if you were okay with her being gone for so long. you looked at her like she was crazy, telling her she’d have to be insane not to take this chance even if it meant you’d be alone for longer than usual. she seemed unsure, but was still excited about the opportunity and bid you goodbye at the airport with a big kiss and a promise to see you soon.
it was fine, the same daily texting and calls as had happened before. but after a few days she tells you her conversation might be slipping because of some of the extra trainings they’re making her do for the promo. that’s all fine and dandy to you.
until you see it on social media. it starts as a clip of vi hanging out with some of her fellow boxer friends at a club, nothing out of the norm. but going though the comments makes you skip way to around the end of the video, and you feel your eyes burn into your phone when a woman, an admittedly gorgeous woman comes up to the table and sidles up right next to vi in the booth.
honestly, this was nothing new. you’d known since your introduction that woman drew to vi like a magnet. your own friend was starstruck when she talked to the both of you and gave you a very funny passive aggressive message when she found out the two of you were dating. you’d had to deal with desperate fans at her games, begging for a chance to talk to her, touch her, beg her to autograph their chests at one point?
so who you find out to be a fairly famous influencer show up at the same hot spots as your girlfriend who’s over a hundred miles away isn’t surprising. what is surprising is the fact they keep popping up in the same places. you would never for a second think vi would cheat on you. it still doesn’t help quell the little green devil that lives in your chest, though.
its am early friday afternoon in your apartment and you’re scrolling through delivery apps for a quick meal when you see vi’s contact come up at the top of your screen, answering it as soon as you process who’s calling.
“someone’s eager to talk to me.”
“it’s nice to talk to you too, vi. how was your day?”
“it was alright, we just did those pictures and photoshoots today so i got to just stand around and show off my good looks.”
“it is one of your strong suits.” you dryly chuckle and keep scrolling through the food options, battling between pizza or pasta.
“feels better when i have you looking at me, though. you doing anything tonight?”
“nothing much, dining in and watching a movie i guess.”
she hums and is about to say something else but the green ugly devil decided to reach its hand through your body and puppet your mouth for no reason whatsoever.
“you going back to the club tonight?”
“uhhh no, all my friends are busy and i have an early morning tomorrow. why, you feeling left out pretty?”
“what if i was?”its silent once again.
“then what if i did something about it?”
so you’re here, flying through the dark of night thousands of feet in the air and slowly descending to an airport where violet is waiting for you, standing at the pickup area is a very inconspicuous black tracksuit with a black beanie to cover up most of her hair and large black shades. there aren’t words to describe the euphoria you feel being back in her warm embrace, sinking into her arms as she rests her chin on your head.
“i cant believe you really did this. and i cant believe they let you through the airport wearing that.”
“i know, had to give security some autographs. cmon, we’ll go back to the hotel.”
you sit a little too close for safety standards next to vi in the back of the dark suv the company had been lending her for her stay in the city, her arm wrapped around your shoulders as the other sat innocently on your thigh. well, as innocently as it could be with vi. she wouldnt do anything too crazy with someone driving, but her thick finger did inch towards the gap between your legs a few times.
there’s an unspoken tension as you arrive at vi’s hotel and she takes your bags to lead you up to her room, keeping close to you until you make it through the door and she sets your stuff by the spacious closet.
she had sent you some pictures as soon as she had checked in, but it was still surreal seeing the thing in person. it was big, but it made sense since she was an extended stay on a ‘business’ trip of sorts. you smile seeing the left open chip bag on the desk and one of her favorite movies playing on the television.
you’re brought out of your stupor by a familiar large hand grabbing yours and tugging you over to the plush couch that sits against the end of the bed.
“so, what ‘cha think?”
”you roll your eyes and relax into the chair some more. “i think that you should take these brand deals more often. just make sure to keep brining me along.”
“oh i definitely would, wouldn’t want you feeling jealous again, would we?”
your mouth gapes open as your body sits upright, looking at her defensively as she struggles to hold in her laughter. there’s no denying it with her so you decide to do the mature thing and cross your arms with a pout.
“how do you figure that?”
“because i know people are talking about the influencers that keep showing up to our booths. and i know your best friend told me about your sour mood and threatened to kick my ass over it.”
you sigh and turn your body to hers, resting your leg over her thighs when she makes the motion to pull it over herself. “’m sorry, vi. you know i’d never believe you’d do that. it’s just…”
“it’s just what?” her thumb and forefinger come up to pink your chin and bring your downcast eyes to her attention, “you know you can tell me anything, right?”
“of course i do. i didn’t wanna complain because everything is going so greatly for you, and i didnt want to make it seem like im unsupportive. i couldnt be prouder of you, vi. it’s just hard not being around you so much. i love our calls and the pictures and everything but its not..its not you.”
her eyes turn soft and she shakes her head before pulling your entire body to rest on her lap, both of her hands coming up to your cheeks to bring you in for a sweet but hard kiss.
she pulls back and peppers some more kisses over your face until you start to laugh, the sound of your laughter always brighting up her day. “i understand, baby. you don’t sound unsupportive, i promise. it’s been hard for me too. i’ve missed you so much when i’ve been gone, you have no idea.”
you gently nod and give a dreamy sigh before sinking into her arms once again, hand coming up to palm at her hair as hers travel to your waist and gently massage up and down your back. you’re content to enjoy the moment until her hands start to skirt lower and lower and suddenly you remember that you’re back in the arms of you’re girlfriend who you haven’t been able to sleep with in literal weeks.
you let out a sharp squeak when her palms travel down to your ass and squeeze you over the fabric of your leggings, head coming do so scarred lips can whisper in your ear.
“how about i show you how much i missed you?”
you’re very glad that its been established you’re both desperate for each other, because otherwise you’d be nothing but embarrassed to be in this position.
you’re starting to feel a slight kink in your neck from staring down at the woman currently eating you out like she’s starving, but when she takes your clit into her mouth and sucks so intensely you throw your head back you briefly think any small amount of pain is worth the pleasure she’s giving to you now.
your arms hold you up on the back part of the couch, one knee resting on the armrest and the other on vi’s thigh so your pussy is right in front of her face for her to get easy access, her hands scooping and pulling you in by your ass and making it impossible for you to back up and avoid the pleasure when it becomes too much.
“vi, nngh, vi,” the only words you can get out are slurred mumbles of her name and curses as her tongue dips down to thrust into you. her nose bridge more than enough to give you stimulation on your clit as she somehow buries her head even further into your cunt and groans into you, the vibrations only driving you crazier.
you whine when she pulls her face away to stare up at you, eyes hungry and sweet like you’re a deity that’s letting her drink freely from the fountain of youth.
“you still jealous, muffin?”
“vi cmon, please keep going, please-”
your mouth gapes wider when she quickly leans down and licks a long strip up and over your clit, pulling away with more of you smeared over her lips than before.
‘fuck, violet,” your head tips back in bliss, concentration slipping as you feel her hot breath ghost across your clit and her eyes trained on your chest as you arch your back.
her fingers clench again and pull your cheeks apart, a little grin gracing her face at your high-pitched gasp at feeling the cool air of the hotel room hitting both of your holes.
“y’know, i seem to recall a certain someone making fun of me for being jealous just a few months ago..”
you groan as she speaks, pushing your hips in a futile attempt to get her to keep eating you out.
“not so fun when its you, huh angel?” her hand travels further up from your behind so her fingers can prod at your entrance, teasing your hole to bring more of those desperate sounds that she loves to pull from deep in your chest. “it’s ok, i know it was hard for you. could see how desperate you were over the phone.”
“i wasn't- oh, shit, i wasn't that needy.”
only about an inch of her ring and middle fingers are shallowly thrusting into you but its enough to drive you wild. its a bit humbling to realize she has you in the palm of her hand already, but you cant find it in you to care.
“tell that to my favorite pillow. swear i thought you were gonna give yourself rug burn last week.”
you drop your head to look at her again and she cant help but laugh at your best attempt at a scowl, eyes droopy and mouth scrunched in the cutest little pout she’s ever seen.
she bites her lip and suddenly pushes her fingers all the way to the hilt inside of you, silently reveling in how she has to hold your body up when your knee beside her starts to wobble.
she thought about teasing you more, holding her fingers in place and not moving until you admitted you were desperate for her, that you needed her. but she was just as desperate for you as you were for her, and when she feels your walls clenching around her combined with you starting to drip down her hand and wrist her brain goes on autopilot and she starts to fuck you at the pace she knows you love best.
in only an instant you're moaning and writhing above her, hips jerking back and forth for friction and your nails digging into the fabric of the sofa. a brief voice in your head tries to remind you that you’re in a hotel and other people can likely hear you, but like she can read your mind vi gives a stern whisper to ‘put it down.’ as soon as you raise your arm to bite into it.
vi lets out a mix between a laugh and a groan at your immediate obedience to her command and she briefly becomes aware of the arousal that's building between her own legs. she subconsciously starts rubbing her thighs together as she continues to stare up at your body. when your body jolts when she hits that spot deep inside of you she’s afraid she might actually cum in her pants and decides to distract herself by stuffing her face back between your legs.
it often scared you, how amazing vi was at eating pussy. you try not to think about how most of it was probably due to extensive practice, but when she sucks at your clit in that way that leaves a rather obvious noise you can't find it in you to care. she’s all yours now anyway, and the thought only brings you closer and closer to the edge.
she can tell you’re about to cum by the tremors in your legs and your hand coming to the back of her head to push her farther into your cunt. she likes doesn't care about the pain of your nails in her scalp. doesn't care that it’s becoming just a bit hard to breathe. there are two places in the world where vi truly feels at peace, in the ring during a fight and in between your thighs as she brings you to an orgasm. she tries to mumble gentle encouragements as you cum around her fingers but they only come out incoherent, the vibrations from her voice only driving you further up the wall as you release.
even as you come down your body still has little tremors brought on by vi continuing to lick and suck at you after your orgasm ends, only your hand digging into her hair and pulling her away able to stop her from going at you. her face is flushed, covered in cum, and her mouth agape as she takes deep breaths in and out. you’re sure you look no better but she makes no mention of what a mess you must be, only flopping her head to the side to rest on your thigh so she can stare up at you.
“i…i might have been a little jealous.”
she breathes out an airy chuckle at your confession and gently shakes her head. “i think we share that in common.”
your eyes start to droop closed in the bliss of the moment, your body in a dreamy state while vi kisses over your thighs and stomach before giggling when vi places a short chaste kiss right on your cunt,
“not a problem as long as we can keep reassuring each other, huh?”
you never saw yourself as the type to have to hide your face in a pillow when your girlfriend got delivered a noise complaint by a flustered hotel attendant at eight in the morning, but you’ve been learning a lot about yourself lately.

“Seriously, though,” Angelina said, leaning against the Gryffindor common room sofa with a sly grin, “when are you two finally going to admit it?”
“Admit what?” Fred asked, looking up from the deck of Exploding Snap cards he was shuffling.
“That you’re dating,” George chimed in from across the room, tossing a chocolate frog wrapper into the fire.
You rolled your eyes so hard it almost hurt. “For the hundredth time, we’re not dating.”
“Not yet, at least,” Angelina muttered, smirking at you.
Fred laughed, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms. “Don’t listen to them. They’re just bored and trying to start drama.”
George snorted. “Says the bloke who can’t go two hours without dragging her off to help with one of his pranks.”
“That’s because she’s got steady hands,” Fred argued, flashing you a grin that made your stomach flip. “Best partner-in-crime I could ask for.”
“Mm-hmm,” George said, exchanging a knowing look with Angelina.
You felt the heat rise in your cheeks but forced a casual laugh. “Exactly. Partners-in-crime. Nothing more.”
Fred’s grin widened, oblivious to the way your voice faltered on the last words.
Later that evening, as you sat in your usual spot in the common room, Fred plopped down beside you, his long legs stretching out in front of him.
George and Angelina had finally left you alone, their laughter about your so-called “relationship” fading into the background.
Fred tossed a bright green bean into the air, catching it in his mouth. “Honestly, they’re relentless. Next thing you know, they’ll be planning our wedding.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “Oh, definitely. George would insist on fireworks during the vows.”
“And Angelina would probably hex the cake to explode in my face,” Fred added, grinning.
“Not that you wouldn’t deserve it,” you teased, nudging him with your shoulder.
Fred gasped dramatically. “Me? Deserve it? Please, I’d be the perfect groom. You, on the other hand…”
You raised an eyebrow. “What about me?”
Fred smirked, leaning back in his chair. “You’d probably spend the entire ceremony arguing with me about the flowers or the seating arrangements.”
“Only because you’d insist on something ridiculous, like having a Quidditch match instead of a reception,” you shot back, laughing.
“See? Proves my point,” Fred said, throwing another bean into his mouth.
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help the grin tugging at your lips. The conversation was silly, but it sent a pang through your chest all the same. For a moment, you wondered—what if it weren’t so ridiculous? What if you weren’t just friends?
“Guess it’s a good thing we’d never actually be a couple,” you said lightly, testing the waters.
Fred snorted, not catching the slight hesitation in your voice. “You’ve got that right. Can you imagine? We’d probably kill each other within a week.”
Your smile faltered for a split second, but you quickly recovered, laughing along with him. “True. It would be a disaster.”
“An entertaining one, though,” Fred added, grinning at you.
You laughed again, but the ache in your chest lingered as his words played over in your mind. A disaster.
Fred, oblivious, tossed the box of beans onto the table and stretched his arms over his head. “Anyway, who needs all that relationship nonsense? We’re better off just being us.”
“Right,” you said softly, your smile not quite reaching your eyes. “Just us.”
But as you watched Fred lean back, his expression carefree and content, you made a silent decision.
It was time to stop hoping for something that would never happen. It was time to move on.
A couple days later, Fred dropped into the seat next to you in the common room, his typical big grin directed at you. “Fancy sneaking out to the kitchens? I was thinking a snack, but maybe we could even go for a full-course meal if the house-elves are feeling generous.”
You didn’t look up from your book, keeping your voice steady. “Can’t. I’ve got plans tonight.”
Fred tilted his head, frowning. “Plans? With who?”
“Just plans,” you said vaguely, flipping a page.
Fred narrowed his eyes, studying you for a moment, but you didn’t elaborate. Eventually, he shrugged, leaning back in his chair. “Your loss. More food for me.”
You hummed noncommittally, keeping your gaze fixed on the words in front of you.
Later that evening, Fred was sprawled on the sofa near the fire, George and Lee arguing over a card game beside him. Angelina sauntered in, her hair tied back in a loose ponytail.
“Oi, Ang,” Fred called, waving her over. “What’s she up to tonight?”
Angelina raised an eyebrow. “Who?”
“You know who. She said she had plans.”
Angelina hesitated for half a second before smirking. “She’s got a date.”
Fred blinked, the words not registering immediately. “A date?”
“Yeah,” Angelina said, sitting on the arm of the sofa. “With that bloke from Ravenclaw—what’s his name? Aaron? Aiden?”
“Andrew,” George supplied helpfully, grinning.
“Right. Andrew,” Angelina said, crossing her arms. “Apparently, he’s been asking her out for ages, and she finally said yes.”
Fred frowned, a strange tightness forming in his chest. “Huh.”
George glanced at him, raising an eyebrow. “Something wrong, Fred?”
“No,” Fred said quickly, shaking his head. “Why would there be?”
George exchanged a look with Lee, who raised an amused eyebrow. But neither of them said anything, much to Fred’s relief.
Meanwhile you were trying your best to focus on Andrew as he told you about his latest Quidditch practice. He was charming, handsome, and undeniably kind. Exactly the type of person you should be going out with.
But as much as you tried to stay engaged, your mind kept wandering. His laugh wasn’t quite as infectious. His jokes weren’t quite as sharp. And when he leaned in slightly to brush his hand against yours, your chest didn’t flutter the way you wanted it to.
You forced a smile, reminding yourself why you were here. Andrew had always been good to you, and after Fred’s clear rejection, it was time to stop holding onto something that wasn’t going to happen.
“Are you alright?” Andrew asked, his voice soft as he studied your face.
“Yes,” you said quickly, sitting up straighter. “Sorry, just a bit distracted. It’s been a long week.”
Andrew smiled, his eyes warm. “I get it. I’m glad you said yes, though. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while.”
You felt a pang of guilt but managed another smile. “Me too.”
It wasn’t entirely a lie. Andrew deserved a chance, and you were determined to give it to him.
Still, as the evening wore on, you couldn’t help but wonder what Fred was doing. And no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t shake the thought that you wished he were sitting across from you instead.
You had done your best to steer clear of Fred over the past few days. You weren’t sure why, if someone dared to ask. Maybe you wanted to avoid telling him about your date or maybe talking to Fred would force you to acknowledge that moving on was harder than you thought.
It wasn’t easy, avoiding Fred, considering he had a knack for showing up everywhere you didn’t want him to be.
And, naturally, today was no exception.
“Oi!” Fred’s voice rang out from behind you as you made your way down the hallway after class. “Wait up!”
You considered pretending not to hear him, but the sound of his footsteps catching up told you there was no escaping this time.
“Hey,” he said, falling into step beside you. His usual grin was in place, though there was a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. “Haven’t seen much of you lately. Been avoiding me or something?”
You gave a half-hearted laugh. “Don’t be ridiculous. Just… busy.”
Fred raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. “Busy with what? Or should I say who?”
Your stomach twisted at the question, but you forced yourself to keep your expression neutral. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Angelina mentioned you went on a date,” Fred said, his tone light and teasing, though his eyes flickered with something you couldn’t quite place. “Figured you’d be too busy swooning over this Andrew bloke to hang out with your real friends.”
You rolled your eyes, gripping the strap of your bag a little tighter. “It was just a date, Fred. No swooning involved.”
Fred tilted his head, studying you. “Come on. Spill. What’s he like? Is he as funny as me? Doubt it.”
You hesitated, your heart hammering as you searched his face for any hint of jealousy, any sign that this conversation bothered him. But Fred’s grin was firmly in place, his tone casual and carefree.
“He’s nice,” you said finally, keeping your voice even. “Really nice.”
Fred’s smile faltered for the briefest of moments before returning. “Nice, huh? That’s a glowing review.”
You shrugged, refusing to meet his eyes. “What else do you want me to say?”
“I dunno,” Fred said, scratching the back of his neck. “Maybe that he’s secretly boring or has terrible taste in music. Something I can mock him for.”
You couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped you, but it quickly faded as the tension in your chest tightened.
Fred shoved his hands into his pockets, glancing at you out of the corner of his eye. “Well, if he’s so bloody great, maybe we should invite him to hang out with us sometime.”
Your head snapped toward him, your eyes narrowing. “Are you serious?”
Fred shrugged, his grin turning lopsided. “Why not? He could use a proper Weasley test. See if he can keep up.”
You shook your head, muttering under your breath. “You’re impossible.”
Fred watched you closely, his grin slipping just enough to reveal the confusion beneath it. He didn’t know why the thought of you with Andrew left a sour taste in his mouth, but he was determined to ignore it.
Maybe it was just because he didn’t know the guy. Or because he didn’t want to lose his favorite partner-in-crime to some bloke from Ravenclaw. That had to be it.
Definitely not because he cared more than he should.
&
The common room buzzed with its usual post-dinner chaos. Fred was in his element, loudly challenging George to an Exploding Snap rematch after a questionable loss earlier, when you walked in with Andrew.
Fred’s laughter faltered for half a second, but he quickly covered it up with a grin. “Well, well, look who decided to join us. Ravenclaw royalty.”
“Hi, Fred,” you said, your voice neutral but carrying an edge of warning.
Andrew smiled politely, clearly unfazed. “Hey. I thought I’d take you up on your offer to hang out.”
“Brave of you,” Fred quipped, gesturing to the chaos around him. “We’re not exactly Ravenclaw standards of refined.”
Andrew chuckled. “I can handle it.”
George appeared beside Fred, grinning broadly. “Andrew, right? You’re the Quidditch guy. Chaser, yeah?”
“That’s me,” Andrew said, looking pleasantly surprised.
“Always nice to have another flyer in the group,” George said, clapping him on the back. “Ignore Fred if he gets too annoying.”
“Oi!” Fred protested, but George was already leading Andrew to the sofa, chatting about brooms and game strategies.
You sighed, crossing your arms. “Play nice,” you muttered as you passed Fred, taking a seat near Angelina and Lee.
Fred watched as Andrew settled into the group, answering questions and laughing at everyone’s jokes with ease. His jaw tightened when Angelina leaned over to whisper, “He’s charming, isn’t he?”
“Sure,” Fred said, his voice flat.
An hour later, everyone seemed to be getting along swimmingly—except Fred.
He wasn’t outright rude to Andrew, but his usual teasing had a sharper edge tonight. Every time Andrew spoke, Fred had a quick quip or an exaggerated eye roll.
When Andrew mentioned his house winning the latest match, Fred chimed in with, “Ravenclaw’s strategy, isn’t it? Win the game, lose the fun.”
George elbowed Fred, but Andrew only laughed. “We take Quidditch seriously. Some of us, at least.”
Fred grinned tightly. “Right. Because fun has no place in sports.”
“Okay,” you interjected, cutting through the growing tension. “Who wants snacks? I’ll get some from the kitchens.”
“I’ll help,” Andrew offered, standing up.
You hesitated, glancing briefly at Fred before nodding. “Sure. Let’s go.”
After you and Andrew left the common room, Fred slumped back into his chair, muttering something under his breath.
“What’s your problem?” George asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Problem? I don’t have a problem,” Fred said quickly.
“Sure you don’t,” Angelina said, smirking as she leaned against the armrest. “You’re only acting like a jealous git.”
Fred scoffed. “Jealous? Please. I just think he’s boring.”
George chuckled. “Yeah, he’s awful. Friendly, charming, loves Quidditch—how dare he?”
Fred scowled but didn’t reply, his gaze fixed on the door you’d just walked through.
When you and Andrew returned, the evening had mostly calmed down. Fred kept to himself, though his eyes followed you whenever you weren’t looking.
As the group began to disband for the night, Andrew turned to you, his smile warm and easy. “I had a great time the other night. Do you think you’d want to do it again? Soon?”
Fred’s head snapped up at Andrew’s words, but he quickly looked away, pretending to fidget with his deck of cards.
You hesitated, your gaze flickering to Fred for just a moment. His usual grin was gone, replaced by a furrowed brow and averted eyes. Ignoring him and the little voice in the back of your mind, you turned back to Andrew.
“Sure,” you said with a smile. “I’d like that.”
Andrew’s grin widened. “Great. I’ll find you tomorrow to figure out the details.”
You nodded, and as Andrew left, you glanced back at Fred one last time. He was shuffling his cards with unnecessary force, avoiding your gaze entirely. Weird.
Over the next couple of weeks, your relationship with Andrew began to take shape. Slowly but surely, he worked his way into your life.
He wasn’t overly pushy or demanding, which you appreciated, and he had a way of making you laugh—though not quite as effortlessly as Fred could.
Still, it felt nice to have someone show genuine interest in you, even if the spark you were hoping for wasn’t quite there yet.
Of course, Andrew didn’t just win you over—he charmed everyone.
“Well, he’s bloody polite,” George said one evening after Andrew left the common room. “And he brought snacks. Can’t argue with that.”
Angelina nodded in agreement. “He’s sweet. You picked a good one.”
“Of course she did,” Fred muttered, slumping lower in his chair.
Lee gave Fred a side-eye. “You alright, mate? You’ve been acting off lately.”
“I’m fine,” Fred said quickly, grabbing a deck of cards and shuffling them with unnecessary vigor. “Why wouldn’t I be?”
Lee raised an eyebrow but didn’t press further.
The thing was, Fred wasn’t fine.
He didn’t know what it was about Andrew that rubbed him the wrong way. Maybe it was how the bloke always seemed to be around now, sitting beside you in the common room or leaning in too close when you laughed at one of his jokes.
Fred told himself it was just the newness of it all. You’d always been his person—his partner-in-crime, his go-to for pranks, his late-night snack accomplice. And now Andrew was stealing you away.
It was irritating.
But Fred wasn’t jealous. Definitely not.
One afternoon, the group decided to head down to the lake to take advantage of the rare sunny weather.
Andrew and George carried the food, Angelina and Lee brought the blankets, and you walked ahead with Fred, your pace slowing as you chatted.
“So,” Fred said casually, kicking a stone along the path, “how’s Prince Charming?”
You gave him a look. “He has a name, you know.”
“Right. Andy.”
“Andrew,” you corrected, rolling your eyes.
“Same thing,” Fred said with a shrug.
You sighed. “He’s fine. Why do you ask?”
“No reason,” Fred said, though his tone was anything but casual. “Just wondering how long he plans to stick around.”
“Why? You planning to scare him off?” you asked, your voice teasing but laced with curiosity.
Fred grinned, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Wouldn’t dream of it.”
Before you could respond, Andrew called your name from behind, jogging to catch up with you.
Fred fell silent, his jaw tightening as Andrew slipped into step beside you, his hand brushing yours as he walked.
By the time you reached the lake, Fred was thoroughly annoyed.
As everyone settled on the blankets, Andrew took the spot beside you, leaning close to whisper something that made you laugh. Fred sat across from you, stabbing at his sandwich with unnecessary force.
“You alright there, Fred?” Angelina asked, nudging him with her foot.
“Fine,” Fred said tightly, taking an aggressive bite.
George smirked. “You know, for someone who doesn’t care, you’re awfully bothered.”
Fred glared at his twin but said nothing.
As the sun began to set, Andrew offered to walk you back to the castle, and you accepted with a smile. Fred watched the two of you leave, his chest tightening as your laughter faded into the distance.
“Mate,” George said, clapping Fred on the shoulder. “You’ve got it bad.”
Fred scowled. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Sure you don’t,” George said with a knowing grin.
If there was one thing Fred Weasley prided himself on, it was his ability to remain unshakable. Cool under pressure. Steady in the face of chaos.
Except, apparently, when Andrew was around.
“I’m just saying,” Fred declared loudly, leaning back in his chair with the kind of dramatic flair that immediately drew everyone’s attention, “no one is that nice. It’s suspicious.”
“Suspicious?” Angelina repeated, raising an eyebrow.
“Absolutely,” Fred said, gesturing wildly as if this were common knowledge. “No one can laugh at every single joke. Even George’s bad ones.”
“Oi!” George protested, though he was grinning. “My jokes are masterpieces.”
Andrew, seated comfortably next to you, chuckled. “I don’t know, George. That one about the Blast-Ended Skrewts last week was a bit of a stretch.”
Fred’s eyes narrowed. “See? Right there. He’s even polite when he’s being critical. Who does that?”
You rolled your eyes, but you couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped you. “Fred, are you really mad because Andrew is nice?”
“I’m not mad!” Fred insisted, though his tone suggested otherwise. “I’m just… observant. He’s too nice. It’s unnatural.”
“Fred,” Lee said, struggling to keep a straight face, “I think you might be allergic to decent human behavior.”
The group erupted in laughter, and for a moment, even you couldn’t hide your amusement. But Fred wasn’t done yet.
“Mark my words,” Fred continued, pointing dramatically at Andrew, “this whole ‘charming and perfect’ act is going to crack one day. And when it does—”
Andrew held up his hands, laughing lightly. “Alright, you’ve got me. I’ll admit it: I burned toast once. Twice, actually. Sometimes I even leave the cap off the toothpaste.”
“Oh, the horror,” Lee said, clutching his chest mockingly. “Fred, are you sure we’re safe in his presence?”
Fred scowled, muttering something under his breath.
You shot him a look, your patience wearing thin. “Fred, if you’re so bothered by something, maybe you should do something about it.”
Fred blinked, caught off guard by the sudden shift in your tone. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
You shrugged, standing to grab a glass of water. “Exactly what it sounds like.”
Fred watched you leave the room, the weight of your words settling uncomfortably in his chest.
“What’s her problem?” he muttered, glancing at the others.
Angelina snorted. “You’re joking, right?”
Fred frowned. “What?”
George exchanged a look with Lee, barely containing his laughter. “Oh, nothing,” George said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “I’m sure it has nothing to do with you acting like a jealous prat every time Andrew breathes in her direction.”
“I’m not jealous!” Fred shot back, his voice a little too loud.
“Sure you’re not,” Lee said, patting him on the shoulder.
Angelina leaned forward, her smirk practically glowing. “Fred, has it ever occurred to you that you’re not mad at Andrew? You’re mad because he’s with her, and you’re not.”
Fred opened his mouth to argue, but no words came out. He shut it again, glaring at the lot of them as they burst into laughter.
“Honestly,” George said, shaking his head. “I’ve seen Blast-Ended Skrewts with more self-awareness.”
Fred groaned, burying his face in his hands. “You’re all useless,” he muttered.
“Hey, we’re just here to point out the obvious,” Lee said with a grin. “The rest is up to you, lover boy.”
&
The Three Broomsticks was warm and bustling with chatter, the kind of lively atmosphere that could distract anyone from their troubles.
Fred leaned back in his chair, nursing a mug of butterbeer, and let the noise wash over him.
It had been weeks since he’d felt this at ease. For once, he wasn’t thinking about Andrew or the way he seemed to occupy every spare moment of your time.
Because, for the first time in a long while, it was just the group—George, Lee, Angelina, you, and him—laughing, joking, and bickering like always. And with you sitting across from him, grinning over the rim of your butterbeer as you teased George about his latest failed prank, Fred felt… content.
Comfortable. Like everything was back to normal.
But then the door to the pub opened, letting in a gust of cold air and a familiar figure.
Fred’s stomach twisted the moment he saw Andrew.
“Hey, everyone,” Andrew said, his smile easy and confident as he approached the table.
Fred tried to focus on his drink, on George cracking a joke, on literally anything else—but then Andrew leaned down, his hand brushing your shoulder, and kissed you.
It wasn’t long, just a brief, casual kiss on the lips, but it might as well have been a Bludger to Fred’s chest.
The laughter at the table carried on, the others welcoming Andrew like they always did, but Fred barely heard a word. His mind was spinning, his heart racing, and for the first time, he couldn’t keep up the denial.
It wasn’t just irritation. It wasn’t just protectiveness.
It was jealousy.
Pure, undeniable jealousy.
And it wasn’t just because Andrew had you—it was because Fred wanted you.
The realization hit him like a brick wall. Every time you laughed at Andrew’s jokes, every time you brushed his hand with yours, every time you smiled at him with that soft, affectionate look in your eyes—it burned.
Because Fred wanted to be the one making you laugh, holding your hand, earning your smiles.
But it wasn’t him. And now, sitting here, watching Andrew slide into the seat beside you, his arm draped casually over the back of your chair, Fred finally understood why it hurt so much.
&
Fred paced the length of the Gryffindor common room like a man possessed, his hands raking through his hair as George, Angelina, and Lee lounged on the sofa, watching with varying degrees of amusement.
“She kissed him,” Fred muttered for the fiftieth time, his voice tinged with both disbelief and frustration.
“Yes, Fred,” Angelina said patiently, not bothering to hide her smirk. “We were all there. You don’t need to recap.”
“But—” Fred turned on his heel, his expression wild. “How did I not see it before? How did none of you tell me?”
George snorted. “Mate, we’ve been dropping hints for years. You’re just thick.”
“Excuse me?” Fred stopped pacing long enough to glare at his twin.
Lee chimed in, grinning. “He’s right, you know. It’s been painfully obvious to everyone but you. Honestly, we were starting to think you’d never figure it out.”
Fred groaned, collapsing into a chair and burying his face in his hands. “What am I supposed to do now? She’s happy with Andrew. I can’t just…” He trailed off, shaking his head.
“You could do nothing,” Angelina suggested, crossing her arms. “Let her be happy. Maybe keep your mouth shut for once in your life.”
Fred glared at her. “Thanks for the support, Ang. Really helpful.”
“I’m just saying,” Angelina continued, shrugging. “If you care about her, maybe you don’t ruin things for her. It’s not about you, Fred.”
George tilted his head. “Or—and hear me out—you could tell her how you feel and let her decide.”
Lee grinned. “Or—and this is my favorite option—you stage an elaborate prank to scare off Andrew, then swoop in as the knight in shining armor.”
Fred groaned again, throwing his head back against the chair. “You’re all useless.”
“Hey, I’m giving you options,” Lee said defensively.
“Yeah,” George added. “And Angelina’s just saying what she’d do if she were you. Personally, I think you should grow a pair and tell her the truth.”
Fred shot him a look. “It’s not that simple.”
“It never is,” Angelina said, her tone softer now. “But you’ve got to figure it out, Fred. Otherwise, you’re just going to keep driving yourself—and the rest of us—mad.”
The sound of the portrait hole opening drew their attention, and there you were, stepping inside with your bag slung over one shoulder and a slight frown on your face.
Fred’s heart skipped a beat, and he immediately sat up straighter, trying to look normal—which, of course, only made him look even more suspicious.
“Everything okay?” you asked, glancing between the group and Fred’s suspiciously guilty expression.
“Fine!” Fred said quickly, his voice a little too loud.
You raised an eyebrow but didn’t push, instead walking over to your usual spot by the fire. You dropped your bag on the floor and pulled out a stack of parchment, rifling through it with a small, frustrated sigh.
Fred couldn’t take his eyes off you. It wasn’t anything special—just you being you—but the way your hair caught the firelight, the tiny furrow in your brow as you concentrated, the way you bit your lip when something didn’t go right…
In that moment, Fred knew.
Knew that no one else would ever make him feel the way you did. Knew that no one else would ever measure up to you. Knew that he couldn’t keep this to himself anymore.
Now he just had to figure out how to tell you.
“Merlin, he’s gone,” George muttered, nudging Angelina. “Look at him.”
Fred ignored them, his mind racing as he tried to think of something—anything—to say. But for once in his life, words failed him.
Fred had never been one to overthink things. Usually, he went with his gut, said whatever was on his mind, and dealt with the consequences later. But when it came to you, every plan he came up with seemed doomed from the start.
The first time he tried, it was on the way to Charms. He’d spotted you walking ahead, your bag slung over one shoulder and your hair bouncing as you moved. His heart did that stupid thing where it sped up, and before he could stop himself, he called your name.
“Hey,” you said, slowing to let him catch up.
“Hey,” he replied, suddenly feeling like his tongue had turned to lead.
You smiled at him, that warm, easy smile that made his chest ache. “What’s up?”
Fred opened his mouth to speak, but before he could say anything, Andrew appeared from the other direction.
“There you are,” Andrew said, grinning as he slipped an arm around your waist.
Fred’s jaw clenched, but he forced a smile. “Right. See you in class,” he mumbled, walking off before either of you could reply.
The second attempt came during a group study session in the library.
Fred had been unusually quiet, his eyes darting to you every few seconds. You were sitting across from him, absently twirling your quill as you read over your notes.
“Hey,” he said suddenly, leaning forward.
You looked up, tilting your head. “Yeah?”
“I—”
“Shh!” Madam Pince hissed from across the room, glaring at Fred like he’d just set one of her precious books on fire.
Fred sighed, leaning back in his chair as George smirked beside him. “Smooth,” George muttered under his breath.
The third time wasn’t even his fault.
He’d waited until you were alone in the common room, curled up in your usual chair by the fire. It was late, and most of the others had gone to bed, leaving the room quiet and cozy.
Fred took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair as he approached. “Hey, can we talk?”
You looked up at him, your expression soft but curious. “Sure. What’s on your mind?”
Fred hesitated, the words hanging on the tip of his tongue. This was it. He just had to say it.
But before he could, Lee burst into the room, laughing loudly about something George had apparently done. The noise startled both of you, and whatever fragile moment had been building between you vanished in an instant.
Fred sighed, watching as you smiled politely at Lee’s antics before heading upstairs to your dorm.
Meanwhile, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.
Andrew was as kind and attentive as ever, but your heart wasn’t fully in it. You caught yourself zoning out during conversations, your mind drifting to memories of late-night laughs and pranks with Fred.
Andrew noticed.
“You’ve been a bit distant lately,” he said one evening as you sat together by the lake. His tone was calm but serious, his eyes searching yours.
“I’m sorry,” you said quickly, though you weren’t sure what you were apologizing for.
Andrew smiled faintly, shaking his head. “We should talk. Really talk.”
You nodded, your stomach twisting with unease and the underlying feeling of already knowing what was about to come.
&
The rain fell steadily, soaking through your cloak and chilling you to the bone, but you didn’t care. After your conversation with Andrew, you’d needed space to think, to feel, to breathe.
That was why you stayed in the same spot he left you in, even when it began to pour.
But tonight, the storm wasn’t just inside.
The sound of footsteps on the dock pulled you from your thoughts, and you turned to see Fred, his red hair plastered to his forehead and water dripping from his clothes.
“What are you doing here?” you asked, your voice carrying over the rain.
Fred shoved his hands into his pockets, looking equal parts frustrated and relieved. “I could ask you the same thing.”
You shrugged, turning your gaze back to the water. “Needed to think.”
Fred hesitated, then stepped closer, the wood creaking under his weight. “And you couldn’t think inside? Where it’s dry?”
You huffed a laugh, though there wasn’t much humor in it. “Guess not.”
An awkward silence stretched between you as the rain continued to fall. Fred shifted on his feet, clearly trying to work up the courage to say something.
He hadn’t planned this, hadn’t thought through what he wanted to say.
“You’re really something, you know that?” he blurted finally, the words spilling out before he could stop them. “You’re out here in the rain, and I’m the idiot who followed you, and… Merlin, I don’t even know where to start.”
You raised an eyebrow, your expression guarded. “Then don’t.”
Fred shook his head. “No, I have to. Because—because you drive me mad. You’re all I can think about, and it’s infuriating because I don’t even know when it started, but it’s just… there. All the time.”
You blinked, caught off guard by the raw honesty in his voice.
“You know, Andrew is… perfect, really. Kind, understanding. Says all the right things. And he’s right. He’s everything I should want.”
Fred’s jaw tightened, but he kept his voice steady. “If he’s so perfect, then why are you out here? With me?”
The words hit like a punch to the gut, and you blinked, suddenly unable to meet his gaze.
“Why, if Andrew’s so perfect, are you standing out here in the rain with me instead of him?” Fred pressed, his voice soft but insistent.
Your chest ached, and before you could stop yourself, the truth spilled out. “Because he’s not you, Fred! He never was.”
Fred stared at you, his breath hitching as your words sank in.
You laughed bitterly, swiping at your wet face. “Andrew is kind and caring and everything I should want. But it doesn’t matter, because he’s not you. And that’s why we ended things. He knows he’s not the one I want to be with.”
Fred didn’t move for a moment, as though your words had stunned him. His wide eyes searched yours, raindrops slipping down his face, mingling with the uncertainty you saw flicker there.
But then, something shifted. Determination sparked in his gaze, and in one swift motion, he stepped forward, closing the distance between you. His hands, rough yet gentle, cupped your face, his thumbs brushing against your rain-damp cheeks.
The kiss came like a thunderclap—fierce, overwhelming, impossible to ignore. His lips claimed yours with a desperation that stole the breath from your lungs, as though this was the only way he could make you understand everything he couldn’t say.
The rain blurred everything around you—the trees, the lake, the world itself—but Fred’s warmth anchored you. His hands trembled slightly against your skin, betraying the vulnerability beneath his boldness.
A soft gasp escaped you as your fingers curled into the fabric of his soaked shirt, pulling him closer instinctively. The rain had drenched you both, but Fred’s heat seeped through the layers, making you feel like nothing else mattered.
His lips moved against yours, earnest and unrelenting, as though he feared you might slip away if he didn’t hold on tightly enough. And yet, there was no demand in his kiss, only a raw, aching need that left you dizzy.
When you finally broke apart, gasping for air, Fred rested his forehead against yours, his breath ragged. His hands stayed on your face, as if letting go would break the fragile moment between you.
“I’m sorry,” he murmured, his voice hoarse but firm, his thumb brushing away the rain—or was it a tear?—from your cheek. “Forgive me?”
The rain continued to fall, cold and relentless, but it didn’t matter. Fred’s eyes searched yours, unguarded and full of something that made your chest ache.
“Always,” you whispered, your voice trembling but resolute.
Fred’s lips curved into the faintest smile before he kissed you again, softer this time but no less consuming.
From a distance, George and Lee watched from the cover of a nearby tree, Angelina holding an umbrella over them with a triumphant smirk.
“Told you,” George said smugly.
“Yeah, yeah,” Lee muttered, crossing his arms, but not before handing George the bag. “I still say it’s weird to bet on your brother’s love life.”
“Not when it’s this predictable,” Angelina chimed in, snatching a Galleon from the bag. “You’re welcome, by the way. I made this happen.”
“You did nothing,” George said, rolling his eyes. “They’re just idiots. Idiots in love.”

I am very normal about the dizzying tragicomedy of Loop’s name.
On the one hand, we have the destruction of identity by persistent trauma. We watch as this silly little rogue who loves their family more than anything is gradually bled dry of their sense of self, their whimsy, their very humanity. The wish they made to stay with their family ensures that their family will never recognize them again. By the end, they are left so utterly hollow that they can only define themselves as the product of suffering - Loop. Transformed into a star - which must always be distant, desolate, forgotten. Born of the endless, torturous loops.
On the other hand… they had at least 24 hours to come up with an alias once they decided to use one. They could have said absolutely anything and they just blurted out the first word that came to mind, which also happened to be the most suspicious name they could have possibly chosen. There’s being bad at naming things, and then there’s Loop.
Drop this fella in a forest and ask them to come up with an alias. They would introduce themselves as blinding “Tree.”

A little courage and good communication.
Reader x Max Verstappen
In which the reader always blames himself for any uncomfortable situation, but is learning to deal with it.
Warnings: none very serious. The reader thinks too much, is a little anxious and pessimistic, but everything works out in the end.
(Yeah, I'm dealing with my traumas through fanfics, my psychologist will never know)

Tension fills the Redbull motorhome. Your hands are clenched as you keep your eyes steady, watching the Team employees from one side to the other.
Max has barely spoken to you today. From the morning when he woke up early and came to the garage alone, to the fact that he didn't even come to see you after you arrived.
You see, it's not that you depend on his attention, but… Your anxious mind starts to remember every action you've taken in the last few days, trying to find something in which you could have hurt your boyfriend.
Was it because you didn't wait for him for dinner? But Max himself said you could have dinner because he would be late. Was it because you didn't do anything after he had bad times in free practice? When Max arrived, upset about the race, you didn't even know why, but, as always, he always said everything was fine.
You believed him and left him alone in the room, because you knew he liked that so he could reflect on what he could or couldn't improve in the race. But… he was fine, wasn’t he?
You keep watching. Maybe you could get him a drink? Or maybe just go talk to him and wish him luck in the race? What to do?
You feel your eyes watering, and it irritates you. You’ve always been very sensitive and, due to some situations in the past, you’ve learned to hate that side of you.
Why cry over something so silly? Just because your boyfriend hasn’t paid you any attention all day? What an idiot.
You remember Christian’s words, after Max introduced you to the Team after a few months of dating in private.
“Do you really think she” – his gaze took in yours completely, a little cowering next to Max – “will be able to handle all this? Formula 1 isn’t just a sport, Max, you know that”.
Max vehemently defended you, and so you were made official on Redbull and Max’s Instagram. But, after more than a year together, you wonder if, perhaps, Horner was right.
You take a deep breath, remembering your psychologist's words: the best way to stop thinking too much is to get things straight. Talk. Ask questions. Face it. You're not psychic and not everything you think is correct.
Right.
Your eyes scan the garage again, finding Max on the other side, analyzing some screens with graphs. The grading will start soon and then you'll only be able to talk to him later.
You wonder if it's better to resolve things first. What if something happens and he's still upset? What if he's just waiting for an apology from you?
Finally, you decide to go to Max. Your steps are hesitant, and they get even worse when one of the mechanics points at you, Max's eyes quickly finding you.
He frowns as you approach, noticing your hesitation.
"Is everything okay?"
"Can we talk?" You say, and Max nods, his features serious. You follow him to the corner of the room, away from the noise of the garage and the employees.
“Um, I… I wanted to know if I did something to upset you?” You get straight to the point, knowing Max prefers things that way. “It’s just that you didn’t talk to me right today, and you were acting weird, and I wondered if I did something wrong? If I did, I’m sorry. You know I can be inattentive sometimes and…”
“Schatje,” Max interrupts you. His hands come up to your face, resting on your cheeks as he lifts your gaze to his. “Why the hell would you think you did something wrong? The car has been a mess since the last race last week and I’m trying to improve my time before the race tomorrow. That’s all.”
“Oh…” You blink, his words melting over your mind and washing away all your worries. “So it’s not me?”
Max rolls his eyes, before placing a quick kiss on your lips.
“No, Schatje,” he murmurs, and your shoulders slump as a sigh of relief leaves your lips.
“That’s great,” you smile, and Max can’t resist kissing you once more. “Get back to work then, Maxie. Good luck. I’m sure you’ll still be able to get the best out of your car in qualifying today and in the race tomorrow.”
Your words make him smile. “Have dinner together later?” your boyfriend asks.
“Room service. I don’t want to go out anymore today.” You answer and he just nods, before saying goodbye.
You keep smiling as he walks back to the mechanics. Your therapist would be so proud.
But before her, you were so proud of yourself for having the courage to solve things by talking instead of allowing your mind to create all the worst possible scenarios and suffering for something that only existed there, in your head.
Sometimes, to solve things, all it takes is a little courage and good communication.

Character + Prompt/Request:
Tumblr media
Hyugo and GN!Reader, Sol x GN!Reader (Sol is mainly just mentioned here fyi. This is more Hyugo centered.)
Have some small angst. 🩵💔 (Hyugo fans I'm sorry lol)
"How many times has he told you he doesn't love you?"
Tumblr media
The question took you off guard, made you grow silent as you thought back over it...
"Rarely...Never..." You muttered.
"Exactly! Then you have nothing to worry about! Sunny loves you, Y/n! With his whole heart and soul! Never forget that okay?" Hyugo said with a smile and wink, though you didn't notice it wasn't genuine. If anything, Hyugo was hiding back a frown, or more than just that.
As much as he supported his friend Sol being in love with you, supported his mission to win your heart, to be together. He also couldn't deny, he hated it.
He didn't know when it happened, how, but he couldn't ignore the fact he was crushing on you...No...It was far more than a crush now. Hyugo was in love with you. But he dared not to say it, show it, because of Sol...Because of his best friend.
But if Sol wasn't his friend, wasn't someone special and important to him...
He would of ridded of him already and did everything in his power to make you his.
Yet he forced himself back, helped support Sol get closer to you, to get farther away from Crowe, his rival.
Though Sol was unaware of the many times Hyugo would watch you and him leave together. Usually hand in hand now...Smiling, laughing together. As he felt jealousy over seeing you smile and show joy because of Sol...
But same time, seeing you smile and look happy, it was all he wanted and needed to see too. Even if it wasn't with him.
Yet he still wished, wishes...He could be the one to make that happen for you, make you feel that happiness, joy and love with and around him.
"Hyugo?" You snapped Hyugo out of his thoughts, as you reached a hand out to touch his face. "Why are you crying?"
"What?" Hyugo didn't even realize he was shedding tears as he was so lost in his thoughts over what he was feeling...
Then felt his panic rise over this slip up, a huge one, scared he'll ruin it all for Sol. "O-oh! I just...I'm just so happy for you and Sunny! Who wouldn't tear up over such a cute lovely couple! God you two make me so proud." Hyugo tried to play with the tears now, making a silly show of wiping them away like he was in some drama play.
You couldn't help but lightly laugh at his act and then give him a playful light shove. "C'mon! I was really scared you were upset there! But really...If...anything is bothering you. You can tell me you know? You're a good friend to me Hyugo...One of the best ones I have I feel now."
That hurt. He knew he was just seen as a friend to you, but still, hearing that, it hurt. He should still be happy, yet he struggled. Struggled to smile, but did his best to force it, look convincing.
"You're my best friend too, Y/n. Which is why I only want the best for you, always." He felt his heart ache with every word he spilled, then he heard Sol calling out for you.
You turned away to see him coming, your attention completely on Sol like always now. But that gave Hyugo enough time to turn around and wipe his tears away that were escaping his eyes again. Then took a deep breath to compose himself before Sol arrived over.
For Sunny... Hyugo thought. It's all for Sunny...

randomly smothering them with kissesෆ pt 2 : higuruma, inumaki and yuuta
higuruma ♡
– he was nose deep in his book while you were playing games in your phone, both lying in you guys shared bed. you were resting your head on his chest while he had one of his arm wrapped around you
– suddenly you felt the need to kiss him out of nowhere
– you sat up straight, he looked at you and asked you whats wrong
– you said nothing and started kissing his entire face, giggling the entire time
– he chuckled and held your face in his hands and pressed your cheeks together like a chipmunk. "what bought this sudden affection on me huh? not that im complaining." "the demons made me do it," you simply shrugged. when he raised his eyebrow you went "they told me to attack you with kisses when youre not expecting and fatally wound you."
– he laughed at your reasoning "well i guess you are successful in your mission, you have fatally wounded me by not kissing me here." and points to his lips
– you giggled "youre soooo corny, hiro." and kissed him where he wanted
– books and games are now forgotten. its just you both in this world :(
inumaki ♡
– it was the first time you slept over at his dorm
– you woke up before him and you were glad ab it
– your boyfriend looked so cute and peaceful. and with his collar down you could admire his pretty face as much as you wished
– you couldnt resist so you kissed all over his pretty face, effectively waking him up
– "tuna tuna?" he smiled. he was surprised but happy to be woken up like this
– "its unfair how you can look so pretty even though you just woke up" you pouted at him
– he raised his eyebrows sassily as if saying 'girl look at you'
– you huffed and continued your attack on him. this time though he also started doing the same to you. you both now in bed kissing and giggling
– ...and being late to class. its okay though it happens when you have the cutest bf in the world :/
yuuta ♡
– bro just exists and you get cuteness aggression from it
– its so normal for you to kiss him out of nowhere that now he thinks if you dont pepper his face with your kisses youre mad at him
– you both were returning to your dorms after classes, holding hands (you both are the clingiest couple in jujutsu high)
– you were talking to him ab how a cute kitten was sitting on your windowsill this morning
– and boy was listening to you so attentively like
– it was such a silly little topic, anyone else wouldve brushed it off but the way he always listened to you had your heart melted
– you suddenly stopped your speech and went "oh yuu!!" cue smooching noises
– he just lets you, wrapping his arms around you and confused but chuckling all the while
– even though you do this to him quite often hes not used to it :/ really cant believe how can someone love him so much
– well you are there to make him believe that arent you?

I feel like I should probably say something about the final TF2 comic finally coming out after seven years, considering I'd been in the fandom since 2009 and had the honor of writing a (non-canon) comic for a community update, a gig I only got because Cantsman wanted help with writing and just picked me as a good enough writer. I think that might be the thing I'm going to be most well-known for (hopefully).
A lot has changed since 2009. The community helped me improve as an artist and as a writer. I made friends through the fandom who are still my friends to this day, and we talk on a near daily basis. The fandom helped me get through some very rough and traumatic periods of my life. I don't really play the game anymore but we got a friend into it and he fell in love and it made me remember what it was like when I dove headfirst into the game, buying just TF2 for like $20 at Best Buy because I didn't shell out the $60 for the Orange Box, which I kinda wish I had.
Seeing that the fandom is still alive, still has many of the people who even if we haven't talked in ages, I still consider my friends because I'd just want to pick up where we left off. There were so many immensely talented people there, incredibly creative and funny and witty, people whose talent inspired me to try to push myself so that I might belong amongst them.
I miss it sometimes. I distanced myself from the fandom in 2014, to my detriment in the long run. But then something happens with the fandom, or the game, or with the voice actors, and it's like the community is still there. We all still love this silly war-based hat simulator, this goddamn meme machine, this fountain of inspiration for just so much gay porn, this beautifully crafted game that has become a weird mutant version of itself over many, many years of updates that have added new things. I don't really play anymore but sometimes I'll just watch my friends play and just remember what it was like to play in shitposty 4chan servers with obnoxious mic spam and the nastiest sprays you've ever seen in your life.
I still love this game, though. I still love the community. I still get comments on fanfic I wrote 15 years ago, gushing about how much they loved it when I can barely even bring myself to reread the old stuff because sometimes when you're an artist, you're just super critical of art you did ages ago. Lord knows I am.
A merry Smissmas to you all. May you get some rare drops and many dominations. Love you. <3

Welp. Going to see Sonic 3 with friends. I have not touched anything related to it for the past two days and have filtered out sonic 3 stuff.
So.
Wish me luck.
My pre-movie predictions/wishes:
PLEASE GIVE US MORE SNAPCUBE REFERENCES that’d be so silly and awesome
Shadow and Maria better have a copious amount of scenes together, I also want them being silly and adorable together as kids, playing around on the Ark and also some references to their time period, like accurate games and stuff, if they were exposed to that in space. (super super interesting and cool to think about)
If. Stone. Dies.
I might die too. Please, let my favorite henchmen survive, i am way too deep into the stobotnik craze.
If they have any acknowledgment of Stone’s love and devotion to Ivo, then I might cry. If they are somehow canon? I will be sobbing uncontrollably, but realistically that won’t happen.
I Am All Of Me plays.
We know that the chaos emeralds are involved, so Live and Learn better be during a fight related to those. PLEASE LET IT BE DURING Sonic v. Shadow on (what to me looked like the moon after it got pissed on by Robotnik).
Gerald dies.
A happy ending for Robotnik and Stone happens. (unrealistic)
My gut is telling me that Stone is going to die, but I’m trying to ignore it right now. Or else i’ll spontaneously combust before I even watch it.

202.
Corvus considers himself to be a pretty good tracker. He's just always been good at noticing the little things: broken twigs and disturbed soil and changes in the calls of native birds and such; things that take practise to see and an amount of training to hear. It's not that surprising, honestly, that he notices the change in Soren's behaviour before Soren ever does himself.
It's been how long now? Eight? Almost nine years? Terry's been with them for seven of those, and they've been out and about and adventuring the whole time so of course he notices the way Soren's eyes have started to wander whenever they're in Katolis.
It's subtle at first: a little smile here, a lingering touch there, the slightest pink in his cheeks whenever he and Opeli find themselves sitting next to each other in a meeting or at a meal. Corvus says nothing about it because it's not his place to say, and Soren is happy, which matters more than the little sting of jealousy that creeps unwantedly into his chest. He'd caught himself once hoping she'd just turn him down and had hated himself a little for it: Opeli is his friend too, and cleric or not, she deserves happiness just the same. If whatever is happening between them brings them joy, then Corvus would be remiss in wishing for anything else.
It's better now. He's grown used to it, and there's always something about the castle and its surrounds that Terry wants to know, so Corvus obliges him, and it's nice to hang around and just talk, no mission, no recon, no silly jokes.
Today is the same. The Yule season has settled over the city comfortably, and the festival the common folk throw every year is in full swing. The air is cold but it smells like cinnamon and spun sugar, the trees are lit with twinkling balls of Sunfire magic, the snow is soft and piles like pillows on every available surface, and Soren is wheedling Opeli (as always) to join them for the evening festivities.
Corvus hides his smile because they all know the answer is yes. Opeli has never had any resolve when it comes to Soren, and the facade of being stern and unyielding stopped fooling the three of them years ago, but it's Terry who intervenes.
"Actually, Corvus and I were thinking about going to the river," he says. "I was told I'd get to learn how to skate this year."
Opeli raises an eyebrow at Soren. "Then I can't very well tag along, can I?"
Soren flounders, very poorly disguising his disappointment. "What—I mean—Did I say that?"
"Oh, you didn't," says Terry. "Corvus did. Remember?"
"Um." Corvus' cheeks warm, because yes, he did, weeks ago, and he's somewhat ashamed that he'd forgotten. "Yes. Of course."
"Problem solved then," says Terry, clapping his hands. "You two enjoy the festival. We'll see you when you get back."
Opeli flushes a little. Soren flushes a lot.
"Oh," says Opeli. "I was under the assumption I'd be joining all of you."
"We're here for the month," says Terry, waving her off. "We can hang out anytime. Go have fun."
Soren flushes more. "You mean, like. Alone? At a festival?"
"Yeah," says Terry, giving him a look. Corvus has to fight back a laugh. "Is that a problem?"
"Of course not," says Opeli primly, her recovery always graceful. "I suppose I'll go and get my cloak." She eyes Terry suspiciously as she rises, but she touches Soren's arm before she goes. Soren mouths a thank you at Terry when she's not looking and offers them both a grin and a thumbs up.
He follows her to the stairwell leaving Corvus and Terry alone at the table, and they glance at each other and burst into laughter at once. The air is warm. Corvus' cheeks are sore from smiling all night. Terry leans back in his chair, his elbow brushing lightly against Corvus' arm.
"You'd think they were teenagers," snorts Terry.
"They're doing their best," says Corvus. "And y'know, strictly speaking, it's a little more complicated than how it looks, Opeli being a cleric and all but. Yes. They're ridiculous."
"You'll still teach me to skate though, right?"
"Yes, of course," chuckles Corvus heartily. "We can go now if you like."
"I would like that," says Terry, getting up. He grins at Corvus, and for a moment the world stills, and Corvus feels his heart do something funny, something unexpected, and when Terry touches his arm, it does it again.
Oh, he thinks. That's new. Or has it been something that's been happening for a while?
Corvus finds he doesn't know.
Perhaps there are little things he doesn't notice. Perhaps that's not so bad.

Oh Shannon my love 🥹🥹🥹 she needs to cuddle w her bfs and Chris and Baby Jane. And maybe have a girls night with Maddie💗💗💗💗
I wish it would go that smoothly! (could I make that happen? yes. will I? no!)
96 for 🔼:
---
“You?” He mock gasps. “You have been causing trouble?”
“She’s too young for this kind of humor,” Eddie shakes his head, lips quirking into a smile. “She’s too young for silly faces, even.”
Buck shrugs. “Giving her a head start on eventually being funny.”
“Oh, does she need that?” Eddie asks. “Maybe I should send her to Chim…”
“Hey!” Buck complains.
But he’s not actually upset. He’s accomplished his goal. To break Eddie out of this spiral. So while Eddie chuckles, Buck circles back to a solution.
“You take it easy tonight,” Buck says. “Go to bed early. Drink all my beer if you want. I’ll take care of the baby. We’ll have a lowkey night. You can sleep.”
Eddie takes a deep breath. Buck can see the want in his eyes.
“Are you sure?”
“Totally,” Buck says. “Least I can do.”
“It’s really not,” Eddie replies. “It’s… I’d really appreciate it.”
Buck takes a step forward to give him a quick kiss. “Anytime, okay? I mean it.”
When Eddie finally sits down, sighing out a good amount of his stress, Buck feels hopeful. He thinks everything is going to be just fine.
iii.
When Shannon wakes up after a night alone, she feels strange. Not bad strange, but strange. She’s well rested. Slept like a corpse. It’s not enough to catch up on all she’s missed in the past two weeks, but it’s something. She feels like she can make it through the day.
She misses her kids. Being away from Jane is hard on her emotionally and physically. She wants her home. Texts Eddie as much. Apologizing for her behavior and asking him to bring Jane home. She misses Chris, too. It’s not the same primal ache, but she’s grown accustomed to spending every night in the same house as him, and likes waking up knowing he’s near. He’ll be home later today.
Eddie responds quickly, saying they’ll be home soon. Shannon showers and dresses and thinks about why she was so upset. Having them all here hurts. Not having them there hurts worse. So she needs to figure out how to process this. How to get over it. The past wounds that feel like they’re ripping open.
She needs to book a therapy appointment. She hasn’t had one since Jane was born. Who can blame her? She hasn’t had a free moment to herself. Maybe… Maybe asking for one yesterday doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Maybe she needs it, every once in a while. She doesn’t feel as tight with pressure this morning.
Shannon is brushing through her wet, tangled hair, thinking about small acts of self care she might be able to take to survive this, when the doorbell rings. Strange. They’re not expecting anyone. Maybe Eddie is carrying too much to unlock the door? Though, that’s a her thing, usually. He’s a bit more sensible, in this one way.
Confused, Shannon puts down her hair brush and hurries down the hall towards the door. She looks through the peephole before she opens, and the sight that greets her is one of the most horrifying sights she could have ever conjured. Ramon and Helena Diaz.
If Shannon could actually puke her heart out of her throat, she would.
These are the last people on earth she wants to see right now. Or in general. But especially right now.
She panics. She doesn’t know what to do. Can she pretend no one is home? Do they have a spare key? No. No, Eddie wouldn’t do that. He doesn’t want them around like that. Like this. At the drop of a hat.
“Hello?” Helena calls.
Fuck. She can tell someone is here.
Shannon takes a deep breath and opens the door. All she can think about is what of the kids’ things she didn’t put away before bed yesterday.
“Shannon,” Helena says when she sees her. Her tone is mostly neutral. Less frosty than Shannon might have expected.
“Mr. and Mrs. Diaz,” Shannon says. “I didn’t know you were coming to town.”

the choice between Edward & Jacob is not a question of which relationship is healthier or which partner is best suitable for Bella. neither is correct. neither is best. neither produces a happy ending for Bella. at the end of the day this is still a vampire novel. any choice Bella could make would yield, at best, a bittersweet happily ever after.
if she chooses Edward, she gets the terrifying Breaking Dawn ending: a girl who rejected her call to grow up has hung her love & her eternity on an emotionally stunted partner who hates himself marginally less than he loves her. she's a teen mom with a kid she never wanted who perpetuates the generational trauma passed down from her parents. by keeping this child, the Cullens have set the stage for an uprising/cold war against the Volturi who are likely to take revenge in order to maintain power. Bella is living in a tenuous "dream come true" wrapped in a nightmare & doesn't realize it.
choosing Jacob is the true coming-of-age ending that rips the stitches out of a wound that never fully healed. even if we ignore the fact that she ends up with a man who sexually assaulted her (we must bear in mind Jacob's character is influenced by smeyer's racism, but it did happen), they can't have a secure romantic relationship. based on the high imprinting rate of the pack, Jacob will likely find his imprint in his lifetime & will lose himself to the imprintee. he will no longer be her Jacob. he will inevitably abandon her (whether he wants to or not), & she must reconcile with the reality that she will always be inadequate to Jacob's imprint. & say he never manages to escape the vampires? he will presumably not age for a long time, meaning the relationship Bella always feared with Edward (her being an old grandmother while he stays forever young) remains a possibility. this is the story of a girl who slaps a Band Aid on an open wound & calls herself healed while flinching every time she sees the shadow of the knife that cut her.
if she chooses neither (team therapy), her healing requires her to lose or be at least partially disconnected from everyone she cares about. Bella must spend the rest of her life shut out from one world while never fully existing in her human world ever again. she must always keep secrets. she can never go back home. even in the unlikely event that she manages to escape the Volturi, the threat of being hunted by vampires will never leave her. in addition, she must face her worst fears (aging, losing Edward) while always keeping in mind the immortal life that could have been hers, if only.
even the "healthiest" option produces scars that will never quite heal.
Twilight is a horror. Twilight is a vampire novel. Twilight is gothic. Twilight is fiction. neither Edward nor Jacob is a "bad" choice because neither will give Bella her happily ever after. the choice between Edward & Jacob is simply a matter of which horror story you prefer to read.

It Never Happens Au party portraits lets go!!!!
(designs/extra comments under cut)
I have no clue how level progression actually works in Isat so don't mind the numbers too much. Loop's stats are taken directly from their bossfight though.
Portraits made using kongkrog's isat profile customizer.

The sad man, after getting to a town and buying some now clothes and having a shower. He's still generally melancholic, but cheers up quite a bit. Has a bad tendency to poke his nose where he shouldn't. Too shy to ask people's names when he forgets, so calls them by their titles instead. Big fan of poetry.

Nille! She jumped at the chance to go on an advent with Bonnie, but has mixed opinions on Loop. Very boisterous in conversation , but usually sticks to herself. Uncontrollably observant and with good intuition, can read people and situations very accurately. Figured out that "thinking really hard abou what you want" when crafting leads to a higher success rate (and the smell of sugar, for some reason?), so her creations stick together even when they look incredibly unstable.
