I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them

This could be a new fandom vibe because of all the "i have to drop this while people are still interested" energy, but its not universal, and i don't believe its good for the fandom ecosystem.

Have patience, and have compassion. Remember that authors are human and these fics? (or comics, animatics, whatever) This is our art. We care about it just as much, if not more than you.

Just got back from therapy where I was like “I think I’m in another manic phase bc despite all the dread I have about my Responsibilities, I just cannot stop thinking about these gay men from Star Trek”

Hi! I know looking at it from a general perspective both Ford and Fiddleford sucked at being healthy father figures for Shifty and that the closest one for him (according to the canon) was Stanford unlike Fiddleford who seemed more hesitant about Shifty, but did him and Fidds had at least one of those weirdly good moments when he was growing up? How does Shifty feel about these memories knowing that Fiddleford is unable to recognize him throughout the show?
