Watching young royals for the first time and I just finished all of s1 and e1 of s2 and this show????? My heart is breaking every 10 minutes, but beyond that, Wille really has no one. They took everyone away from him, there is absolutely no one there for him when he needs them. With everything that has happened to him I am worried - I don’t know how s2 ends, but if something doesn’t get better sooner rather than later, I think we’re looking at a spiral

the one thing that absolutely entrances me about Nosferatu is the sheer level of intimacy between Ellen and Orlok, especially in a setting that keeps its characters so thoroughly repressed. there are swathes of fabric and bonnets and heavy furs separating them from the world -

and then, a lock of lilac-scented hair. A hesitant caress, hovering over her cheek. She'll argue with Harding and even Thomas from across the room, but will get in Orlok's face to yell at him. He will be called "My Lord," unless it's Ellen. It’s always so... close to the skin. Hair falling, entirely loose, down her back. Skin against rotting flesh, his lips on her breast, and her hand on the back of his neck, clinging even as they both lie dead???? hhnnggghhhhhhhh

their chemistry is the lifeblood of the film, its framing is impeccable, 10/10 monsterfuckery

jayroy is so good to me for a lot of reasons, but one of the big ones is that they r both full of each other's triggers. it's insane how like. their traumas have the potential to directly impact each other. except they just. don't. for the most part they're just two really good bros. it's got so much potential and if dc ever got around to writing a jason story that wasn't dogshit, it could be a really good story. alas.
