One of my fanfic pet peeves is when people try to write Orihime as a bad cook, which is to say, the food she makes is disgusting or makes people sick. I could pull out receipts from canon about how in truth she is just adventurous and enjoys off-beat combinations of things, but I really just want to talk about this absolutely genius creation from Bleach 330:

You may be thinking, hmm, it's kind of like a dessert pizza, eh? Well. Maybe. Kind of. I feel obligated to point out that there is spicy mayonnaise mixed into the chocolate. But on the other hand, mayonnaise is a legit cake ingredient (it's just an egg/oil emulsion, right?) and chocolate tastes great with a bit of heat.

Chad and Ichigo are skeptical, but they are teenage boys and also WRONG.

So I watched A Silent Voice with some but minor knowledge of the story going in. And right at the beginning when Shoko's bullying started I had the nagging worry that while Ishida would be redeemed they'd leave Ueno and Kawai as one-dimensional bullies. Painting the girls as the "real villains" while the male protagonist got to have depth. Anyway I just finished the movie and I would like to formally apologize to Oima Yoshitoki and Yoshida Reiko I should never have doubted you.

Following up after yesterday's headcanon spree, I really felt a tremendous urge to draw some Yamashirou friendship art. It didn't turn out to be a full comic in the end, but I really liked the idea of having them "geek around" scientifically. Having them bond over either food, investigations or science is all very intriguing, especially because it's so rare to see them interact. Which is a shame, because while they have their clashing potential, they would absolutely have each other's backs. Always, no matter what.

Plus... I couldn't help but include smol jealous Taichi feeling a little left out. These dorks have such interesting dynamics, but... Let's say, Taichi may be more used to team up with Koushirou and Yamato respectively instead of being teamed up against. Don't worry, Taichi, they love you too!

honestly i think a big reason why i could absolutely never stay invested in tri is that the character designs are such a massive downgrade from the original series. the original designs are so incredibly iconic and so incredibly 90s that putting them into normal streetwear makes the series lose so much of its visual identity (and it definitely doesn't help that all the promotional art has them in identical school uniforms...). i genuinely can't recognize mimi without a ridiculous pink outfit or tk without a stupid-ass hat and i am honest to god not even joking about that. everyone just looks so forgettable here.

“Why would Hifumi believe celes accusing taka of blackmail he of all ppl would never do that” yes but. Taka was no longer taka at that point, he was Ishida. And w the nature of the killing game, no one knew how the change affected his mind beyond seeing him go from complete dejection to being amped up, cursing, and more willing to get physical w ppl all of a sudden. Beyond being aggressive abt his feelings he wasn’t much of a threat, but he actively butted heads w Hifumi over the laptop. So Hifumi might reason the personality change and attachment to the laptop bc of mondo could cause drastic, immoral behaviors out of desperation, and there’s extra incentive to believe it bc it gives him a good reason to defend the ai and have it to himself
