🗣️These two were my Roman Empire during my bleach phase🗣️, punching the air rn bc they could’ve had it all😭😭💀Orihime’s biggest fumble deadass. Ik my boi had a lot going on but she could’ve fixed him if she tried hard enough 😤😔😢🥺 I still have another doodle sketch of them and maybe I’ll post it later but meh.

I also had his horns in the initial sketches but if I made them to size they would be tearing Orihime’s head and this angle is a bit wack so I’d have to position them weirdly if I kept them. I think I’m gonna main my soft brushes for now bc for some reason my works come out better with them. Hard brushes are also rly hard for me to work and have me making multiple sketch layers for hours in order to get the linework coherent enough.

Bleach's end ships will never not be funny, because this man literally wrote Kuchiki Rukia drying Ichigo's rain, Ichigo swearing on his soul to save Rukia. Ichigo wondering if the world will keep turning without her. The sun and the moon dynamic. Rukia's man in her heart speech, Rukia thinking about Ichigo in her final moments, Rukia sharing her powers, Rukia sacrificing everything to save him, Ichigo sacrificing everything to save her. The whole fade to black movie. Rukia being Ichigo's light.

Then we have Isshin and Masaki, their meeting literally kick starting all the events that transpire. Masaki saving a soul reaper, Isshin sacrificing his powers to save a complete stranger that saved him. Masaki being the sun that he revolves around.

Katagiri and Ryuken being doomed lovers enshrouded by the rain.

We got are you afraid of me Ulquiorra to Orihime. We got Orihime representing the rain and Ulquiorra being born in the deserts of Hueco Mundo. We got Ulquiorra who literally has no heart, gaining a heart because of Orihime. We got the hand reaching scene.

We got Byakuya literally searching for his wife's sister long after her death and adopting her.

We got Unohana telling Kenpachi that he was literally the only man that could make her happy and them being in love blood thirsty monsters that show their love through violence because it's their love language.

I could go on.

thank you to my sweet boyfriend for making my UlquiHime dreams come true! I respect -and love- Mexican culture, specially the "Dia de Muertos". I had the opportunity (and luck) of spending October at Mexico a couple of times, and let me tell you it is magical and amazing.

I also got inspiration for this pic not only from the beautiful Catrinas but also from Frida Kahlo's paintings -you may know her painting "Las Dos Fridas"- for Ulquiorra's heart!

Oh, also, the candle is meant to "light up" Ulquiorra's heart as perhaps guide him through the path to reunite him with Orihime. And the butterflies were added to my flower crown as "Hell Butterflies", since those are messengers from the death.

m not ashamed to admit that all my ships, whether in Bleach or any other series, are purely based on my personal taste hahaha… and Ulquiorra x Orihime is one of them.

As I’ve said before, I like Ulquiorra to the point of identifying with him… The idea of a heartless monster being "healed" by a girl who loves him is just too captivating for me… (Yes, I love Disney’s Beauty and the Beast).

In short: I like Orihime x Ulquiorra because I, too, wish someone would fall in love with my “monstrous” side? (This is so cringe.)

I am contemplating making an art where instead of Orihime being held captive she’s actually always been a part of the Espada and her and Ulquiorra are in a Daki & Gyutaro type situation.

And they are both technically the #2 espada but since they’re a pair they make the #4 espada which is why they are so powerful but are also numbered that way to keep anyone from actually reaching the top three espada.

She may or may not be friends with Grimmjow in the AU but who knows👩🏽‍🦯🗿they’re def canon in this tho.

I just rly wanna draw an art of Orihime being protective of him and being OP. Angry Orihime when?!?! They’re in love, but clever and the other espada are sometimes wary of them.🗣️just hear me out yall🙏🏽
