Now you may be seeing something right? FGT Ichigo looks kinda a lot like Yhwach.

Now we know Ichigo is a Quincy and all Quincy have Yhwach's blood running in their veins but only Ichigo looks like him to this extent when in his Final Getsuga Tensho.

Both have long dark hair.

Red crimson eyes.

And a handsome fac-

Ahem, I mean this leads me to believe that Ichigo may have been using his Quincy powers while in that state. Hey look, this is just a theory and Kubo may have just thought it's a cool design choice before the Yhwach twist and all but just let me have fun with this one okay!

Now what is Final Getsuga Tensho specifically? Some believe it's Ichigo absorbing all of Zangetsu's powers but I disagree. I think FGT is more of a fusion between them. Getsuga Tensho is a technique using Zangetsu's powers and only Ichigo can call upon the technique, it cannot be used by Zangetsu without its wielder or Ichigo without his weapon. And my proof is this line by Ichigo:

He is fighting with Zangetsu, not using him.

And there's also the fact that Zangetsu was literally fused to his hand.

Now then that we established that, let's get to this point.

Final Getsuga Tensho is not just a final technique. It's also a combination of all of Ichigo's powers. Both Shinigami, Hollow and Quincy. And why is that?

When Ichigo was fighting Zangetsu he was fighting both his Quincy (in Young lad Zangetsu) Hollow/Shinigami (In white Ichigo) in a fused state. And achieving FGT is him basically accepting both powers, and making himself a weapon for a short time, becoming Getsuga itself.

Heck we talked about his design resembling Yhwach why not talk about how his design resembles a Hollow in how the mask wraps around half of his face with little teeth and how the black spirit energy is like his Tensa Zangetsu's Getsuga Tensho (shinigami power) only strengthening my thought about it not just being a final technique/attack but a fusion of all of his powers, both mastered and latent (which is why Ishinn had Ichigo do it, not him. His wouldn't probably match Aizen)

And the nail in the coffin is what Aizen says here.

Aizen here is beyond Quincy, Shinigamis, Hollows and humans, no one can stand up to him. He's on a higher plane than all beings except Ichigo. Who overpowered him with ease, who's on a higher plane than he is.

There's only one being that can be on a higher plane than the Quincy,Hollows,Shinigami:

Yhwach, the Quincy King, the Almighty. He's the only one who could over power aizen that much and without even trying.

Now I am not saying that Ichigo is somehow using the Almighty powers, that's stupid. I am saying that he was using his Quincy powers which are from Yhwach himself. Fusing it with his other abilities to make Aizen look like a joke.

And even then, FGT is probably just an imperfect version of Ichigo's final form he used against Yhwach. Because FGT is used when Ichigo didn't fully realize and unlock his Quincy powers/Blood. And that it's a one shot weapon where he can use it only once and lose all his powers after whereas his final form where he realizes and mastered all of his powers he uses to its fullest potential and doesn't just disappear.

And that it looked like how Zangetsu looks like when he was fighting him for the Final Getsuga Tensho.

And all of this leads me to believe that Ichigo was using his Quincy powers there and that's how he overpowered Aizen that easily, especially in base.

TL;DR FGT is just an imperfect Final form that Ichigo uses against Yhwach in chapter 676.

I loved your Bleach Headcanons with Renji!..

Can I please have some headcanons where Ichigo, Rukia, Orihime, Uryu, and Urahara meeting a Soul Reaper who goes on Long-term missions ( can be gone for months at a time), and ends up running into them. And ends up saving them without knowing who they even are? (She has hallucination powers so potent they can effect the blind)

(She also wears a mask, and her robe has a hood on it. (She doesn’t show her face or body to ANYONE (her eyes can still be seen tho)

Headcanon: Meeting Mysterious Soul Reaper

Ichigo Kurosaki

Ichigo is immediately on edge when he encounters this Soul Reaper. Her masked and hooded appearance sets off his instincts, and he assumes she’s an enemy at first. The fact that her powers can affect even the blind both impresses and unnerves him.

Ichigo is grateful but frustrated by how little he knows about her. He tries to talk to her, but her reluctance to reveal her face or identity drives him crazy. He admires her strength but can’t shake the feeling that she’s hiding something big.

He starts making it a personal mission to figure out who she is, even pestering Urahara and Rukia about her. He can't stand being left in the dark about someone so powerful who seemingly vanishes after helping him.

Despite the mystery, Ichigo comes to respect her skills and her willingness to help without expecting anything in return. Her independence reminds him of his own.

Rukia Kuchiki

Rukia is more intrigued than suspicious. She sees the masked Soul Reaper as someone with a purpose she doesn’t fully understand but can’t help respecting. Her long-term missions hint at responsibilities that most Soul Reapers aren’t entrusted with.

Rukia is impressed and slightly uneasy about her powers. She wonders what kind of person can wield such an ability and still remain mentally stable. It reminds her of how dangerous certain abilities in the Soul Society can be.

Rukia tries to engage with her in a formal and polite way, but the masked Soul Reaper’s reserved nature makes it difficult. Rukia eventually respects her desire for privacy and leaves her alone—though she’s curious about what she’s hiding.

Seeing her in action, Rukia feels inspired. She wonders if the Soul Reaper’s long-term missions have forced her to become so closed-off and isolated, and Rukia feels a deep sense of pity for her, even if she never says it aloud.

Orihime Inoue

After seeing her in action, Uryu grudgingly acknowledges her skill. He respects her precision and efficiency, but her refusal to reveal her identity bothers him. He wonders if she’s hiding her face due to guilt or shame.

Uryu is fascinated by her hallucination powers. He speculates on the mechanics of her abilities, theorizing that they might work on a spiritual or sensory level far beyond what most Soul Reapers are capable of. (It's not him, it's me. I'm wondering)

While he respects her abilities and the fact that she saved them, Uryu is content to leave her be. He doesn’t trust her fully and would prefer to keep his interactions with her professional.

Kisuke Urahara

Urahara likely already knows of her existence and long-term missions, but he doesn’t let on to the others. He greets her with his usual playful demeanor, testing her patience but secretly observing her closely.

Urahara might subtly prod her about her identity or past, using riddles or humor to catch her off guard. If she doesn’t respond, he just laughs it off and respects her silence.

He’s especially intrigued by her hallucination powers. Urahara wonders how she developed such a unique ability and whether it has any drawbacks. He may even offer to “study” her powers in his lab, much to her disinterest.

While he’s curious, Urahara understands the need for secrecy and doesn’t push her too far. He admires her dedication to her duties and the sacrifices she’s made for her role, perhaps seeing a bit of himself in her.

Chapter 0: back in town. six years have passed since he left for med school; finally, Uryu is back... as well as that never ending pain.

❄ a/n: not me starting a new -pretty out of the blue - fic. I needed to rest my head from all of the studying and while I was listening to "Yoü and I" by Lady Gaga, I thought of Uryu and a pretty tragic love story that had no closure after TYBW. I must ask for feedback with this one, if you wish for me to continue with this story, please, let me know 💖 ❄ tw: not much, very angsty for now. I want this to be a sweet love story that will -of course- contain smut as we go further into it.

“Stop, stop please… stop ignoring me! This is hurting me!” you plead, knees hitting the ground, drawing blood out of them, allowing the cold cement underneath to soak into that crimson fluid of life. 

His glasses have fogged; it is not the cold, nor the snow as white as his clothes… it’s just the tears sprouting nonstop from the bottom of his heart. 

“I beg you please, leave me alone. I don’t want to talk to you… it's been years, forget about me” Ishida whisper, knowing too damn well those words are pure lies. 

How much time has passed? It’s been years since the war, since the “treason”. The scar on your body still remains like a bittersweet memory of those arrows. A single one, just one, it was enough to cross your heart. 

“You didn’t mean it, I know that… please, I have forgiven you! In fact, I���ve never once blamed you!” you scream, a night so cold it could freeze your bones but not as much as Uryu’s heart. 

He keeps walking away from you. Uryu has promised himself not to ever falter, not ever succumb… how could he hurt you? from all the people? That single arrow, a single ray of blue light and reiishii… so deadly, so painful… you, the sacred woman he wished to protect, even in silence, had fallen upon one of his own attacks. Was the fight worthy after all? Saving the world? Avenging his mother? Was it all worthy if in exchange, from all the people, you, the one he swore not to hurt, paid the price of his betray? 

“Please…” you murmur, the pain of that last word unheard by him, hurts harder than any scar imbued into your flesh. 

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ“Please, please, please… please… Uryuu, please”

You remain there, with snow pooling on your shoulders, with your thighs getting coated with bloody knees, with tears freezing, and a heart broken… through blurry eyes, he disappears among the foggy night, after all this time, Uryu has left. Again. 

A pair of headlights blink behind you; however, you don’t notice them until the car stops right by your side. 

“My son is an idiot, isn’t he? Come on” Ryuuken helps you stand up. 

You sniffle, looking into the deep blue eyes of that man who you’ve always considered a father. 

“Indeed…” you murmur, sitting on the passanger’s seat. 

Dr. Ishida hands you a handkerchief and starts driving in silence. You know he is probably driving you home, though you don’t care. 

“Ryuuken-sama, I’ve never blamed him. I swear I- I knew the moment he left what he meant to do! I… missed him so much, six whole years away, and now that he is back in Karakura… why?! Why he ignores me? Is he married? Did he find love in med school?”  you ask, in between sobbing, and blowing your nose. That poor piece of fabric might never come back to Dr. Ishida’s hands. 

The snow haired man sighs; he knows exactly why his own son is ignoring you. And he is also aware his son is as stupid as he could be, but he is also noble to no extent… 

“My son, as I always say, is an idiot. But he also has the biggest heart you could possibly imagine, (Name)…” 

Three days before.

“You are back” Ryuuken words, as always dry. However, his dull eyes immediately regain a shine he thought he had lost the day his son left. 

His tiny little black-haired version of him has now bloomed into a young adult. His glasses, still the same. His hair, perhaps a little longer. And now, carrying a document where it says he has become a paediatrician. 

Uryu, in anxious response, clenches his fist on the handle of his carry-on bag. As if time have stopped, the people walking by the arrivals hall of Karakura’s tiny aerodrome seem to disappear. 

His glasses reflect the image of a father that acts tough but is dying to hug his son… and same goes for Ryuuken, with glasses showing a man that turns into a kid and begs for his father’s love. 

“Seems like it…” Uryu’s blue eyes fixed on the floor. 

“Come on, Dr. Ishida” Ryuuken mumbles, with a pride his voice couldn’t conceal, saying nothing but everything at the same time. 

A soft smile garnishes Uryu’s lips, Ryuuken hasn’t change a single bit.

“Six years have passed, and this town still looks the same” Uryu grunts; the big city has probably changed the way he sees the world. 

Ryuuken remains silent, looking at the passenger’s seat from the corner of his eye. It is true, the city has barely changed, though the people living on it did. All of them; some have even married and now have kids… except for one person; you. 

“The city and a person in particular” the Dr. says, with his eyes fixed into the traffic light ahead. The bomb had been dropped… 

“She- she hasn’t left?” Uryu asks, looking at his father with eyes opened big and pale skin turning even paler. 

“Hm… how could she? You idiot”
