erm so I read the book of bill

I wanted to explore what happened between Bill destroying his dimension and becoming the chaotic demon he was with the Henchmaniacs. I liked the idea that it was The Axolotl that saved him and lead to him to becoming the Bill we know today (more thoughts under the cut)

we're told a couple of times that Bill is kinda the opposite of The Axolotl, so I like to believe that it leans more good than just neutral. So, even though they knows Bill destroyed his home dimension, it tries to comfort him and tell him he did nothing wrong. This in turn leads to Bill's whole mentality later on (the whole "blames the arson for the fire" thing)

I like this because it would explain why The Axolotl keeps trying to redeem Bill, it feels responsible for Bill since they're the one who saved him initially

maybe this is also how Bill became a dream demon? he seems at least somewhat mortal in Euclidia (but he did manage to flip the whole thing so idk how mortal that is) so maybe being around a divine salamander does that to you

Now I have no idea why they fell out of touch (thats one way to describe it) but maybe it's because of their different mentalities where The Axolotl wants no change and Bill does? leading to Bill leaving? idk

I just think them having been friends creates a lot of angst potential, they were besties your honor

also I think The Axolotl would have given him the bow tie :]

Tom and Medusa Pokemon teams

Reasons:

Toms team (electric/general)

Mewtwo being an experiment, and unwillingly used as a weapon fits with Tom's whole thing

Porygon-Z a pokemon made of computer programs which can traverse the internet perfectly. However its upgrades have made it act strangely

Rotom- ghost in the machine

Tatsugiri- pretends to be weaker so it has an advantage

Boltund- electric which fits Tom being able to short machines out. But also the whole Dog thing in the first book.

Annihilape- anger issues

Medusa's team (poison/dragon)

Absol can predict natural disasters, Medusa being an earthquake survivor probably would appreciate that ability

Rotom Heat- ghost in the machine (heat because of the burns)

Hydreigon - a dragon with multiple heads. (Snake hair?)

Seviper- snake

Dragalge- i decided she was a posion/dragon specialist so this is why she has this

Rayquaza - again snakes- plus her flying ships and stuff

i think theres this idea in the general public that the "best" fanfic gets turned into real books like 50 shades of grey. but the truth is that the best fanfic can never be published as an actual book because its intricately woven into the canon material so its inseparable even if you change the names

here's some of my headcanons for the Tallman AU. I am SO picky modern aus because I feel like they almost never take canon dynamics into account enough, so I tried to do that as much as I could!!!

The main reason it's a tallman au is because I needed Izutsumi and Chil's daughters to go to the same school and I wasn't invested in the worldbuilding enough to figure out the logistics of how school would work with races that age at very different rates. also the existing tallman designs are fun lol

Batman gives each of his Robins a different code to use when they’re in trouble and need immediate extraction. He promises that when they call, he’ll drop everything just to get to them, come hell or high water.

Jason, during his time with the League, shares his code with Damian, to be used “only in the direst of circumstances, when you have exhausted all other options.” He doesn’t know if Bruce will answer, given how fractured their relationship was before he died, but it is better than nothing. Every tool counts when they live such dangerous lives.

Damian uses it exactly once, and Bruce, who still feels the loss of his son like a yawning chasm in his chest, responds to it even though he knows it can’t be Jason because Jason’s dead. What he finds, instead of Jason, is a boy in League garbs, drenched in blood from the tips of his midnight-black hair to his too-small feet, with a face that Bruce sees himself and Talia in, requesting asylum from a grandfather who wishes to possess his body. Bruce doesn’t question how this boy who is so clearly his son knew the code. Talia al Ghul is resourceful and places family above all; the code is not beyond her abilities to discover, and she is not above using Bruce’s desperate love for his dead son to ensure that hers does not meet the same fate.

Bruce takes Damian in, because of course he does, and since Jason is dead he allows Damian to keep using the code. After all, it’s not like Jason is alive to use it, right? If someone uses the code, there’s no one it could be but Damian, right?

The next time the code is used, Bruce traces the location to Gotham even though Damian was supposed to be in Bludhaven visiting Dick. But whatever happened that resulted in Damian being in Gotham can wait, because he has already failed one son and he will not fail another, his son is in trouble and he needs to get to him, he needs to—

What he finds, instead of Damian, is a boy (just eighteen, too young, but also too old, but also he will always be a boy to him) in League garbs, drenched in blood from the tips of his midnight-black hair to his too-large feet (when had he gotten so big), wearing the face of his dead son.

(Who, maybe, just maybe, may no longer be so dead.)
