### Honkai Men & How They Kiss ###
Featuring Dan Heng, Blade, Jing Yuan, Aventurine.
warnings: I only started playing, so this might end up ooc; no other warnings rlly.
english isn't my native language!
''I probably won't get that invested,'' well maybe I should shut my mouth more; bone app the teeth!
DAN HENG
This can both count of just Dan Heng, or Imbibitor Lunae (if you prefer imagining him); I doubt there'd be any difference in their character, which is why I don't feel like specifying - it's up to whoever you, the reader, prefers.
Firstly, I believe that Dan Heng is someone who initiates affection more privately, less frequently or dramatically in public; You'll probably find yourself initiating the majority of your kisses with him!
But, when it does come to kissing, he's a gentle soul; Maybe not even gentle, but...hesitant of sorts. That hesitance does not come from an uncertainty regarding his feelings toward you - I'd call it a...worry, a ''fear'', of sorts.
That aside, there is something that just...makes your heart skip a beat, makes you giddy when he kisses you. Your forehead against his after a long kiss, unable to stop yourself from smiling. He's soft, gentle with his kiss.
There's no ''fleeting'' kiss with Dan Heng; he'll either kiss you properly, or not at all. Still, I can see him be someone to kiss your cheek, forehead, or palm/hand - but rather in private than in public!
While some people might see him that way, I personally do not see him as someone who is ''aggressive'' or ''intense'' in a sexual sense during kissing (might also be my aroace ass speaking, idk) - sure, maybe kisses might turn into a slightly heated make out session, but nothing ''extreme''.
When it comes to what kisses he loves, I believe he would enjoy kisses on the cheek, though there is nothing he loves more than feeling your lips on his.
BLADE
I've only met him briefly in-game yet (only now finished the quest w/ the Xianzhou and heading to Penacony), so...I'll try my best, lol.
Before I got into the game again & read some more about him, my initial thought was that he'd be a ''possessive'' person, but I highly doubt that (or kinda...refuse to think that? I dunno), and I'd say he can be...a little of a wildcard?
While I can see him be a ferocious, ''aggressive'' kisser on some occasions, I do believe he can also be found on the other end of the spectrum.
Blade's kisses can be intense, demanding almost, biting down on your lip and clearly asserting dominance while kissing you, making you struggle to keep your balance; He'll whisper to you, speak under his breath while you can barely catch your breath.
Then there's the other end of the spectrum, when his kisses almost seem...fragile? Absent? Like he's...not fully there, or not fully himself. He'll not be one to initiate much affection during this time, which is also how you know that something's currently not right with him.
Last, there are the ''normal'' kisses - no aggression and demand behind them, yet they aren't absent either. A normal, brief kiss that only you can really tell the genuine emotion behind, since to most people Blade's expression would indicate he'd much rather be somewhere else.
When it comes to receiving kisses, I don't think he generally has a preference there? Or would even be big on receiving kisses specifically? At least behind close doors I can see him be someone who'd much rather have you hug him or hold him.
JING YUAN
Ah, Alejandro Saab my beloved; I didn't think I'd love the guy this much when I first started playing, lol.
A confident man indeed, especially when it comes to the love you two share, for your relationship. His genuine admiration and adoration for you are evident to most people, though he knows when to be subtle or act in a way that hides his emotions.
Jing Yuan can be a tease, though mostly behind close doors; He'll have you close, his arm around your waist, his lips hovering above yours, yet he refuses to kiss you, watching you grow impatient as he pulls away anytime you want to close the distance.
When he does kiss you, he does so with passion. His kisses are on the more sensual side, leaving you breathless and longing for more. He'll have you completely undone after just a short makeout session, leaving you with a wink and teasing smirk on his lips.
In private, when you are alone, away from responsibilities and work, when he has time to think, to remember the past...that smirk might still be present whenever you want his attention, but it feels fake. During those times, whenever he'll reach for you to kiss or hold you, he'll be lost in his own thoughts, though you always help him feel grounded, and guide him back to the present.
He doesn't mind initiating affection in public either, though he does...behave himself more, lol; He'll kiss your cheek or the palm of your hand while at a commission, and you can also find him holding your waist when you're out in public - or allowing you to hold onto his arm.
Jing Yuan is also someone that just enjoys quality time; on those rare occasions when you two can relax and cuddle, there is nothing he enjoys more than napping in your arms; And, yes, he loves those sleepy kisses during those times, or in the early morning when you just woke up.
When it comes to your kisses, he prefers soft pecks on his forehead, or all over his face while you are cuddling - though there is nothing he loves more than having you play with his hair while you're cuddling/he's napping.
AVENTURINE
I've not met him yet, but he reminds me of an OC I have, which is why I automatically liked him, lol.
I want to say that he'd flaunt you around, be dramatic about your relationship, but I'm not sure that'd be a smart move, and I'm sure he'd be aware of that...anyway, he's someone that certainly makes love exciting.
He's even worse than Jing Yuan when it comes to his teasing smirk; Yet, he won't really be a tease, but rather more playful in his affection? Randomly slide up to you, twirl you close, brush his lips over yours while talking low before spinning you and then pressing a kiss to your lips, or dipping you and kissing your neck.
Definitely not one to shy away from being affectionate, though it is more on the casual-seeming side in the way he portrays it; He doesn't make a big fuss out of it - kissing you feels like it comes natural to him.
There were moments in which you were laying in his arms and you tried to steer the calm atmosphere in a more serious direction, though that only works up to a certain point with him and then he'll kiss you energetically to distract from that; also enjoys tickling you, but that's another thing.
His kisses vary in their kind; sometimes, they are brief and playful, while other times they are energetic and passionate, and so on. What is it called? A jack of all trades, though that figure of speech isn't entirely accurate, lol.
His public displays of affection are just as unpredictable as his affection in private; sometimes, he does not mind being affectionate around you, though he knows how to judge a situation well enough to hold back, or completely refrain from touching you.
When it comes to receiving affection, he's definitely obsessed with you just showering his face in kisses, sitting on his lap while he holds you close; or when you are cuddling and you just keep pressing kisses to his neck/throat/behind his ear.
[I have a Genshin version for some Men & Women, too]

If They Had Cat Nekos In CoD
Hear me out. Hear me out. This isn't cringe I promise just walk with me here.
It'd be an exclusive procedure specifically meant for combat, meant to enhance humans past what they're supposed to be to make them better fighters
Cats wouldn't be the only animal, they'd just be one of the main test animals because of how common cats are and how much knowledge we have of their anatomy as compared to like a bat or something
Only a few hundred people would get the opportunity to participate in the initial test phase, not based on rank or anything, just a few hundred soldiers all from different ranks and bases being tested with prosthetic animal ears and synthetic nerves to see how well they'd communicate with the original human nervous system
I imagine with the cat ears they'd find a way to reroute your normal hearing network, therefore making your original ears worthless as far as hearing goes, but I don't know the science-ey medical part of how that might work
You'd be temporarily relocated to a more specialized base with better supplies and higher trained personnel so they could track your recovery and any issues that might arise with it (hence how you would end up with a transfer to TF 141)
Everyone would just be staring at you when Price escorts you off the helicopter and onto the base to meet the team, but out of curiosity and astonishment (they had time to cope with the confusion because they were told you'd be coming a few weeks prior, nothing more than need-to-know ofc)
So pretty much they only knew that they were getting a new temporary team member who underwent an experimental prosthetic procedure
So yeah they are actually kind of confused because the whole cat ears and cat tail part never got clearly disclosed
I feel like Soap and Gaz would be the first two to really start asking you questions about it, like y'all would be out for lunch one day while the rest of the team was on a mission or just during other down time or something and they'd wonder how it works, if you can still hear out of your human ears, etc.
You'd answer all of them with the sweetest little smile on your face because no one has ever been so intensely curious about you before
But then you'd start getting insecure because you worry they're ONLY curious about you because of the cat ears and not because they're curious about you
So you'd go to Price about it, who would say to just give it a few weeks to wear off and they'd start treating you like normal, they're just curious
Oh you also can't really go on missions yet because you're technically on medical leave, you just need to stay around environments you're used to as a means of preventing hysteria and all the good shit that could come with surgery backfire (I think, again idk the science medical part of how that would work, but I imagine it could be a big issue so I'm putting it in)
And when Ghost comes back one day and sees Soap trying to pet your ears something in him just fucking snaps and he tells the sergeant to meet with him privately
And you don't understand what's going on AT ALL you're just worried you got Soap in trouble
So you go to Ghost the next day while you know he's by himself in the gym (you also sneak in a workout while you have the chance because you feel like Ghost isn't personally invested in you enough to tattle) and try to pry him for answers
But he just does his normal Ghost thing and ignores anything he doesn't want to answer, and when he feels like answering you feel like he's staring your soul down inside fucking out
And then you finally pry enough that he's irritated enough to tell you to shut up, that the sergeant has no business trying to get so close to you like that because you're still recovering from an intense medical procedure and he doesn't want Soap to fuck it up
But you low-key feel like it's an excuse so you just say something like "ooooookay" in this really doubtful tone, and Ghost is like "is there a problem?"
And then you remember oh shit this guy is actually above me in the chain of command I should shut up before I get in actual trouble here so you're just like "No issues here Lieutenant" before going back to your workout
And it doesn't take long after that for the silence to start feeling deadly, like it's choking you and wringing you out little by little, so you leave
And Ghost practically ignores your existence after that if he doesn't have to acknowledge you for a mandatory reason
But Soap doesn't leave you alone because he's still curious about the cat ears (I imagine at this point the rest of TF 141 has had their initial amazement wear off, but Soap can just never quite wrap his head around it)
And the curiosity ends up having you and Soap as friends but like out of the corner of your eye you always see Ghost staring you the fuck down when you're in the same room together even if Soap isn't there, but when Soap is there it's terrible
And you try to ask Soap if he knows what's up one day when you know Ghost won't be around any time soon for some reason or other and Soap just shrugs and says "L.T's always tense. Always up to high doh 'bout something, never really lets himself relax."
But there's this little glint in Soap's eyes like he knows something that he can't quite tell you properly so you just nod and go with it
And then you eventually start going on missions with TF 141
On your first mission you're still kind of wobbly because you didn't get much time to train but you pull and push through
And on like your third mission you actually save Soap's life and you notice Ghost doesn't stare at you with as much hatred after that and you start trying to put pieces together like "okay so they're close"
And then in Las Almas when you meet Alejandro and Rudy they just blink at the cat ears and tail but don't really say anything else about it and you're like "okay they're chill I like them"
You're there when the air in the car freezes from Ghost's stare in the mirror at the mask comment, you're there when Soap has to go in and get interrogated, you're there when Graves betrays the team, and when the three of you end up on the run together Ghost and Soap realize exactly how useful the cat attributes you gained from the surgery are
Your TF 141 callsign is something cat-themed because pun opportunity (haven't decided exactly what)
But anyway after almost dying together and escaping the town and getting to the safehouse you realize how much closer Soap and Ghost seem to be because it's just right in front of you. Like even when you were in the town over comms (you didn't insert much aside from occasional location updates) you heard how unusually playful Ghost was with Soap when he usually despises jokes (he would cringe every time he had to call you by your callsign for the first few weeks and I will die on that headcanon hill)
So now that the three of you are finally alone you ask what the deal is and make it firm you won't let up until they give you the truth
And Ghost tries to say they don't have time for this but Soap stops him like "a nod's as guid as a wink to a blind horse" and Ghost just glares at him and doesn't have to say anything and Soap sighs and is like "hiding it isn't going to help us anymore, she knows L.T"
And that's how you find out Ghost and Soap are dating
You swear not to tell another soul and Ghost is just his usual violent self "Won't be a slow job if I find you tried" and Soap just elbows him
But the air is actually a lot lighter after that and the three of you actually manage to have some quick laughs together
And you're like actually so relieved that your Lieutenant doesn't hate you and that he was just being an overprotective bf
After you get back to base after that mission the three of you actually end up spending a lot more time together because Ghost and Soap like finally having a friend they can be open about their relationship with and not be scared to lose their jobs
Hey! If you read all the way through this, go check out Chapter 1

Scobie: Princess Kate’s Early Years work is ineffectual because of her ‘limitations’
February 02, 2023
By Kaiser
It’s been Keen Early Years Week, where the Princess of Wales has launched yet another awareness-raising campaign centered on Kate going around, telling people that the early years are important. Shaping Us is no different than the Five Big Questions, which was no different from Big Change Starts Small (rip to that initiative). None of these “campaigns” are any different and none of them actually does something substantive. It’s all white noise, gurning, wiglets and gloss. It’s Kate preening for the cameras and telling everyone that she’s a credible expert and a big girl doing important work! As I said, we’re past the point where Kate is a chaotic neutral – the messaging has gotten harmful. Even credible childhood development experts are coming out and saying that Kate’s fluff is dumb and unimportant, that these resources should be focused on actually solving very real problems for kids. All of this and more made it into Omid Scobie’s latest Yahoo UK column – you can read the full piece here. Some highlights:
Kate’s 2012 ‘listening and learning’ charity visits: Chatting with her press secretary at the time, I was told how the duchess’s “keen interest” in childhood development will likely lead to projects focused on supporting the young. A month earlier she had also taken on a patronage with Action on Addiction, a charity working with those suffering from drug and alcohol addiction and the children affected by it. “Right now she is listening and learning… in the future she hopes to find practical ways to contribute,” the palace aide explained.
All of Kate’s sound and keenery, signifying nothing: It’s an extremely important subject. But after 12 years of work, the goods being delivered right now feel light. Some within the early years sector have already voiced frustrations. “We are well accustomed to MPs and royalty visiting early years settings, praising the invaluable work of practitioners… but nothing is done,” a statement from the Practitioners of the Early Years Sector group says. “The time has long passed for ‘awareness’. We need action – long-term investment and funding in the early years.”
Kate’s big-girl problem: And this is where the Princess of Wales will no doubt find herself stuck. Because while elevating the importance of helping children in their first five years of life to thrive is certainly necessary, there are very few options available to Kate when it comes to actually helping solve the main issue at the heart of Britain’s early years crisis – funding. Budgets for preventative services for children in the country have been slashed by more than £400m since 2015 . And 4,000 early childcare providers have shut down in the last year alone due to chronic underfunding.
More slashes to the social safety net: Cuts have also seen the closures of children’s centres nationwide, despite the fact they help prevent more serious social services intervention at later stages in childhood. Britain’s social care system, which is already on its knees, estimates that over 15,000 young people will be taken into care over the next three years. As the country falls deeper into its cost of living crisis, and childcare providers raise prices due to funding pressures, is Kate’s awareness project really able to do much at all?
Ineffective royal work: If anything, Shaping Us exposes the ineffectiveness that the Royal Family’s charity work can have. Because it is almost impossible to make an impact in this field, or even usher in the smallest of change, without considering all the social factors that have an impact on early development. And that cannot be done without stepping into policy or politics — the one thing Kate can’t do as a working member of the Royal Family.
The Art Room disaster: Two years ago The Art Room charity Kate first visited in 2012 shut down its facilities for good after it became no longer financially sustainable. Shrinking school budgets from the government were to blame, and while Kate was able to shine a light on their work through the odd royal engagement, her limitations as a royal patron meant that she would never be able to lobby to keep it going.
The third landmark announcement: This week’s awareness drive launch is the third “landmark” announcement by the Princess of Wales on this topic in as many years. The message is essential, and she makes a serious case, but no matter how many versions of it we hear, Kate’s hope and a wish are unlikely to bring the necessary solutions. Given that Kensington Palace says this is her “life’s work”, I hope she can eventually prove me wrong.
[From Yahoo UK]
While I know what Scobie is doing here – and god knows, he has his own set of limitations as part of the royal press pack – it would be interesting if he actually came out and said it. Like, he’s going too far to half-way excuse Kate here: “while Kate was able to shine a light on their work through the odd royal engagement, her limitations as a royal patron meant that she would never be able to lobby to keep it going.” Kate could easily brush off the shackles of her royal patron “limitations” if she wanted to. She could have hosted fundraisers for the Art Room, she could have used her staff to come up with some kind of scheme to raise money online by selling the students’ art, she could have done a lot more than she did. It wasn’t because of the limitations of the royal role, it was because Kate is lazy, dull and unimaginative.
THAT is the larger problem – while the royal-patronage system is deeply flawed, all of these people could do a lot more without being called “political.” And seriously, if the point of Kate’s dumbf–k Early Years campaign is to raise awareness of just how basic and fundamental it is to give children a head start in life, why is that political? That’s the argument she could make, if she had two brain cells to rub together. “All kids need access to nursery schools and Head Start programs” is only a political hot potato if you think poor children don’t deserve to be nurtured.
-
" her limitations as a royal patron meant that she would never be able to lobby to keep it going."
Complete nonsense. Meghan would have found a way.
Kate really is a useless waste of space. Who just loves to pose. And copy Meghan's outfits.

Hey, since your V3 ending video has been lost, or at least, I couldn't get to it, I wanna know what exactly your thoughts are on the whole Real Fiction concept and everything Tsumugi revealed in the trial? Love it? Hate it? Believe it?
Its not up?? I'll have to talk to my friend about it, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be uploaded!
To be honest, even if it was up I think my opinions might have shifted slightly or solidified more since then so you'll get a better read from this post I think!
It took a while for me to figure out where I stood on the whole thing. Initially, I really loved the ending in isolation. I thought the Real Fiction concept was really cool (I'm a big fan of meta in fiction) and I thought the audition tapes were horrifying in a really fun way. It was extremely hard hitting for me and there were parts playing trial 6 where I felt completely hopeless that these characters would get a happy ending. But the way you had to convince Kiibo as the audience's proxy to end Danganronpa was really really cool and lifted my spirits in a really satisfying way. Even when I thought Maki, Himiko, and Shuichi were accepting their deaths, it was still bittersweet in a satisfying way.
Not to mention I ADORED the Tsumugi mastermind reveal. I thought the cosplay switching was fucking awesome!!
But on the other hand, I really didn't like the idea of all their talents and backstories being completely fake. I think I posted about it before when I was still playing v3 that the theory that everything was fake was one I really didn't like. The talents/backstories of these characters are part of what had me so invested in them, so them being not true at all was hard to accept. Not to mention the idea that they were these twisted, awful people before the game started made this even worse for me.
This was especially hard for me when it came to Gonta, because his backstory and talent means a lot to me. The idea that none of that was real, that he was potentially an entirely different person with a wildly different personality before the killing game, made me really upset. I still don't want much to do with pregame Gonta stuff to be honest.
ALSO. The part where Tsumugi lays out that everything was planned out (including Maki falling for Kaito and other character relationships) didn't sit too well with me at first. Removing agency from characters is a powerful tool to create feelings of despair, but if you go too far imo it risks making their actions feel completely meaningless and potentially losing my investment in their choices. If nothing the characters do can change their fates, whats the point in paying attention to the story?
So this was the main conflict I had initially. I loved the ending from a story/thematic standpoint but from an enjoyer of characters it was really hard for me to handle. I've mostly settled now on alternating which versions of post canon I think about depending on how I'm feeling. Some days I like to believe almost all of what Tsumugi said, because I find that kind of post-canon with only the surviving trio who have to grapple with their identities as people really interesting (I would love to ramble about that too but this is already way too long LMAO). Other days I only take parts of it (like making it a simulation or that the game was real but Hope's Peak and their talents were also real) because it keeps the characters as real.
One thing I never keep though is that Tsumugi had all their relationships planned out from the beginning. Based on all the in-game problems she had as a mastermind, I really doubt that was all according to her plan LMAO. I like to think in the case where they were fake, she only made their personalities/backstories/talents and then dropped them into the killing game she designed. I think Ultimate Real Fiction would be more interesting to danganronpa fans in the v3 universe if it was like "we made these characters who are essentially real and put them in the setting of a killing game. Lets see what happens!" rather than just planning out a rigid plot played out by real people. Kinda like a DND game!
Something that's different with V3 than any other media I've hyperfixated on that I really love is that I've come to accept that there are parts of the story I will never have a definitive headcanon for. The two big ones being what's the real truth about the outside world/Ultimate Real Fiction and my feelings on Kokichi. I don't think they'll ever fully settle, but isn't that fun in its own way??
TLDR: I really liked the ending!! I am the number 1 v3 ending defender
#pluto answers#oh my god im sorry this is so long#I just love talking about v3 so much#drv3 spoilers#Thank you so much for asking! This is my dream type of ask#long post

Assumptions Gone Wrong: Mike’s Lesson on Listening in Love
Mike had always considered himself a thoughtful partner. When he met Sandra, he was immediately drawn to her kindness, her laughter, and her unique way of looking at the world. Eager to make her happy, Mike began planning little surprises, investing time and energy into gifts and gestures he believed would bring her joy. But instead of creating a stronger bond, his efforts often seemed to lead to disappointment and misunderstandings.
One day, for example, Mike spent hours arranging a surprise dinner at an upscale restaurant, complete with a gourmet menu and elegant ambiance. He was certain Sandra would appreciate the effort and planning, but as they sat through the meal, he noticed a quiet unease in her expression. Sandra thanked him politely but seemed distant. Later, she admitted she would have preferred a simple night in with homemade comfort food instead. Again and again, Mike’s well-intentioned gestures seemed to miss the mark. He planned a weekend of sightseeing tours for Sandra, not realizing she found crowded places exhausting. He bought her a lavish bouquet, only to learn that she would have preferred a single wildflower or even a handpicked leaf with personal meaning. Each time, Sandra would thank him, but the disappointment in her eyes grew more noticeable, raising questions she found increasingly difficult to ignore. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon when Sandra finally gathered the courage to express her thoughts. As they sat across from each other, she hesitated, then took a deep breath and said, “Mike, I appreciate everything you’ve done, but… sometimes I feel like you don’t really understand what makes me happy.” Mike felt his heart sink. He had worked so hard, trying his best to make her smile, yet here she was, questioning the very foundation of their connection. “But I thought I was doing what you’d like…” he replied, his voice a mix of confusion and hurt. “I thought these gestures would show how much I care.” Sandra looked at him with a soft sadness in her eyes. “It’s not that you don’t care, Mike. It’s just that your assumptions about what I’d like aren’t quite right. You’re doing things you think I’d enjoy, but they’re not what I need or want.” In that moment, Mike felt a wave of realization wash over him. He had been so focused on crafting surprises and grand gestures that he hadn’t stopped to ask Sandra about her preferences, her dreams, or her idea of happiness. He had filled in the gaps with assumptions, never considering that Sandra’s happiness might look different from what he imagined. Determined to change, Mike apologized to Sandra for all the times he had acted on his assumptions instead of asking her directly. “I’m sorry for not listening more closely,” he admitted. “I was so focused on impressing you that I didn’t take the time to understand you.” Sandra smiled, her expression softening. “Thank you for saying that, Mike. I want to feel seen and understood, not just impressed.” From that day forward, Mike made a conscious effort to communicate openly with Sandra. He began to ask her about her favorite ways to spend an evening, her preferences for small gestures, and her thoughts on big plans. Their conversations grew more open, more honest, and they both learned new things about each other. Gradually, Sandra’s initial doubts about their relationship faded, replaced by a renewed trust and appreciation. She saw the depth of Mike’s commitment and his willingness to learn from his mistakes, and she felt closer to him than ever before. For Mike, understanding Sandra’s perspective became a journey of growth, teaching him that love wasn’t about grand assumptions, but about listening, asking, and learning together. I've been anxious to see your reply to my ask-message, but when you did answer, I was hesitant to read it as I suspected what I might find there, and I wasn't far off the mark, unfortunately. *sigh*
Initially, in my greedy neediness and impatience I wanted to ask how the story progresses and ends, maybe somewhat in hope that it would indeed bring me some closure. But having taken a moment to step back and breathe, I've realised that it's not really that that I wanted - it was probably to quench the thirst that reading your story left me with. I know that settling for a few big gulps would leave me satiated only for a moment.
So, getting up my hopes again like a masochistic lunatic since I know that chances are extremely slim, I thought that maybe, just maybe, you'd consider continuing to write it? I know how crazy that sounds - a random guy popping out of nowhere asking you to continue a story from over a decade ago (that's what you get when you have readers who tend to be overly invested in characters and stories). Nevertheless, hear me out, please.
I'm not sure how I should read your remark on the story being too advanced to move - unless I'm unaware of something here (probability is high), copying and pasting shouldn't pose a problem (even if you don't have a local copy saved somewhere, it's still on AFF and maybe somewhere else if you've posted it anywhere else).
As for someone accusing you of "stealing" your own work - so what? The fact that starting from your AFF profile, it took me just a couple of moments to find your account here - and I'm not the brightest cookie - means that it is you (yes, I cannot be certain that it's really you, but doubting it makes no sense whatsoever since chances for that would be extremely low). I'm also not sure why would anyone try to steal an older story - the only reason I can think of is wanting to get praise, but I assume that the only type of person who would do that is someone who cannot write themselves; otherwise, they would be writing something of their own. And if someone did try to steal your story, it would work only if no new chapters had not been written as one would notice if the style was vastly different - unless your style did change dramatically over the years or unless the impostor was really good at writing (imitating someone's style isn't that easy, I think?), and that would make no sense as per my previous sentence. Yes, I am aware that if someone actually read the story, then they would not make such accusations and so the ones doing it would be those who didn't, but why would you listen to them in the first place? I know, receiving unnecessary drama is not something you need, as per one of your recent posts, but as you've written yourself, you can utilise the block functionality. And there will always be naysayers, no matter what you do - the trick is to ignore them.
As mentioned at the beginning of my message, getting a summary of the rest of the story is not something I'd like to settle with if there's a better alternative - it would be a poor ersatz to getting to know how the story unfolds exactly, their reactions to events happening to and around them, what is being said, word for word... There is no equivalent replacement for reading the real thing.
I have no idea where you're at in your life, how you are both physically and mentally, and whether you have the time and willingness to continue the stories you've started (well, I'm interested in that particular one since I'm pretty picky when it comes to pairings), so I probably have no right saying this, but my greed had the upper hand, so here goes: would you at least consider continuing it? You don't me or any other reader anything (though I'm positive that completing the story would make a number of people happy), I know, but I like to think that (I hope it doesn't come out the wrong way) that you owe it to the story itself. All stories deserve to be finished, but stories that good even more so, especially considering the time that has passed which means that your writing most probably got even better. I don't mind waiting. :)
The below postscriptums are a result of my hesitating to send this message since I know how it'll probably make me feel (hey, if you're reading this, it's done anyway).
PS If I could help in any way (except for financially since I'm kinda poor, especially now), let me know!
PS 2 Looking back at it now, when I first read your fic, I haven't fully appreciated it, I think. Now, having had more life experience, I can relate to some parts of your story - the self-loathing and some self-destructive tendencies, yes (reading about both Ichigo's and Tatsuki's pain did hurt, not gonna lie), but more importantly the early stages of Ichigo and Tatsuki's budding relationship. The circumatances in which we got together were different, but reading the fic reminder me of how the beginning of our relationship looked and, more importantly, felt like (in that vein, the lemon parts seem even more arousing when they were back then). Thank you for that.
PS 3 Out of curiosity, have there been any other lunatics like me who searched you out to write about your older fics? Also, where can I find stuff you wrote post-AFF (if it's still somewhere in the net, that is)?
PS 4 This message turned out to be way longer than I originally intended.
I'm sorry but I won't pursue any of my AFF stories. That's something that was decided once AFF locked me outta my account. Not only are the stories past a decade old in lock down, AFF can see it my pursuit as a plagiarism attempt and can risk my other stories in other sites (I saw it happen to other writers before)
Not to be rude, but this is going into an overstep.
I can tell you the story end and thats it. But I won't pursue it to finish it and although it might sound rude I haven't been into Bleach as I used to either although I do keep casual track out of nostalgia.
I can't force myself to even be unto it at the last minute. If a writer doesn't feel it, the words won't flow properly and it'll look stifled, slow and headache enducing.
One thing is fo request closure but it's entirely another thing to ask to take on a project that can take me years to finish for a site that literally locked my old stories in.
I'm declining finishing that story, but not declining telling its drafted outcome since it did have that like all stories I have. Since drafts literally composed start, body, end etc.
I can't even take on medium projects for now since I'm I'm chemo treatment and while my body is getting accustomed to it... Well we'll see if I have my old energy levels back to take on even small projects like drabbles, oneshots etc
I'll try to answer some questions while I'm kinda alert real quick though.
When I was writing Ichigo I was writing him with using hypersexuality as a coping mechanism (and thats a form of self harm and very few readers, to my frustration, saw it that way. Ichigo was indeed self-harming with this). It's actually not that uncommon but we've got different and toxic ways of coping with our inner demons. A lot are harmful to us and he was aware that something was wrong with him yet he won't reach out.
Tatsuki is very special to him obviously. He knows it, he feels if. He hates himself for it but still wants her. I like that fact that you understood beyond the surface that Ichigo is genuinely suffering and coping in a drug-like harmful way. I was trying to be both subtle yet out there with his issue.
Tatsuki is a very smart observant girl with a new developing power. She knows what's really happening with Ichigo. She can feel him in her soul which explains why I called their story Salvation while the Hichime prequel was Reflection. They're both linked psychologically to each other.
Both couples are linked in each other's uplifting and downfall due to both psychological and spiritual connections to each other.
Sounds complicated hahaha. But I tried to make it kinda obvious when pushing their interactions and thoughts.
I had a war planned on Salvation to really show their collected psyche and how powerful they all can be once they see their own true reflected selves and can ultimately save others and themselves with such tremendous power of understanding.
Ooof I went wordy.
I hope I answered some questions (also request in the future... your asks are very long. You can ask away but they're so long I can't cut for answering on this little app and my few followers are probably getting annoyed with long scrolling down to see other posts)
#ask#personal#writing#sorry but i draw the line#I'm mostly just queue activated here cos I'm either sleeping or workings on my leg athropy since i was paralyzed until recently#so my presence here is mostly the ask and filling the queue with reblogs and random text posts

#THIS#op is brilliant and also correct#im also not super big of reverse robin aus but.... if i may add.....#steph makes 10000x more sense to be red hood than Tim ever could be.#steph DOES have that dog on her I fear#but even then it wouldnt be a direct one to one#bc stephanie ALSO doesnt have that sense of seeing Bruce as her father.#(though you could argue that bruce sees her as a daughter - thats niether here nor there)#but i think that even if she was red hood-- she wouldnt have the same total lack of reasonablity that Jason had (for good reason) that#caused for it to go on for so long#but the initial anger over her death could spiral into her doing some crazy stuff forba while i think#but yeah no tim could never be red hood - via @feyinvestigations

If this post is just for venting about an annoying fandom trope, have fun and ignore this addition. If you're interested in getting a bit of insight into why someone DOES like this annoying fandom trope, read on!
-
Especially with characters who have been through INCREDIBLY traumatic things, it can be hard to distinguish what is the character, and what is the trauma. What parts of their semi-normality are actually signs of ridiculous strength that no one else could ever pull off. What weaknesses are actually just normal responses to their experiences. What parts of them were forged in their trauma, and what would have been there no matter what, because that's who they are.
Reverse Robins separates the two. It allows an authour to explore how other characters would have reacted to the same events. Which reactions are unique to a character, and what things are somewhat universal.
In a Reverse Robins AU, no one should be patrolling Crime Alley and killing drug dealers, because that is the MOST Jason Todd solution that could possibly exist. But figuring out what (or seeing what other's think) Tim or Steph WOULD do can shine so much light on who Jason, Tim, and Steph are.
And the fact that Steph might do something roughly similar to Jason actually makes her a worse fit for Red Hood, in my books! (She probably wouldn't be in Crime Alley, be focused mostly on the city's Rogues rather than drugs and trafficking, and, as Fey said, she'd have a different interaction with Bruce.) Having her as Hood muddles the messaging. Many of the things she'd do the same as Jason would actually be for different reasons, but making that clear would be HARD. It would be difficult to learn more about how she ticks through the experiment.
But Tim (or Dick, Dick!Red Hood is a terrifying and fascinating option)! There's so much to interrogate! Tim isn't making a big dramatic show. He probably isn't out to get revenge on the Bats, or prove they never cared. Talia isn't taking him under her wing, because Talia HATES HIS GUTS (and it is SO FUNNY). He doesn't have the strong sense of self Jason does, or the sense of community which drives him to a certain part of the city. How DOES a Tim who was murdered and then sees the world move on react? Who does he become?
A Jason who came into the family after tragedy. How does that change things? He CAN NOT fill the role Tim did. Jason isn't a chameleon who becomes whoever's needed. So how does Bruce have to change (without an enabling child to use as a crutch)? What strengths/weaknesses WOULD be shaping Jason in this situation? How does he respond to a family much more invested in building relationships? (And ARE they trying to build relationships like canon? Is that the lesson THESE characters would learn from Tim's death?)
Damian is very little like Dick, and uniquely unsuited to being an eldest sibling. How does that affect things? What relationships is he able to build outside Gotham? Does he ever LEAVE Gotham? I doubt he sees that as the same indicator of adulthood that Dick did. He's much more focused on legacy and inheritance than Dick. So does he get really involved with Wayne Ent?
NOBODY would be Oracle like Babs is. What would they do if they lost the ability to patrol? How would they remake themselves? (This one is hard, and I haven't seen too many really compelling options. Which says a lot about how strong and unique Babs is. She's hard to replace! Which just makes me hungrier to dig deeper into her and whoever I'm wanting to switch her with.)
-
The strength of the Reverse Robins trope is in showing that characters aren't interchangeable. (At least for me. A lot of fic doesn't have the same vision ;P ) My favourite stories keep the major events, but really focus on how the individual threads form a very different tapestry. People inhabit the roles they've been given in unique ways, and I get to see sides of them I rarely see.
Since every fan takes different things from canon, it also allows for VERY different takes that all feel real. Some of which show me facets of the characters I've never before considered.
It's a funhouse mirror and a characterization exercise. Which I think is really cool!
my issue with reverse robin aus- one among many- is that That Guy would not have had the willpower to dig himself out of his own grave while gravely injured. that’s just my opinion though!
#reverse robins#batfamily#gecko's meta#doing it well is hard#because you have to have a good handle on WHY characters do the things they do in canon#enough to figure out how things could go differently

Ways to Create Your Social networking Strategy
Gadget Reviews
A Web 2 . Strategy is an fundamental component of a larger marketing plan for any sort of business in today's world. People accept that Social media marketing is a powerful choice to connect with prospective customers and customers nevertheless because Social Media can be so new, we're simply not sure how to properly market our company using Social Media.
Gadget Reviews
If you happen to were applying for a company loan the first thing ones bank manager would probably ask is, Are you experiencing a business plan?
Should you be venturing into Web 2 . 0 for your business the very first thing you need to ask yourself is usually, What's my Social networking Strategy?
Having a number Social Marketing Plans in place before you insert the big large world of Web 2 . will help you gain ability and direction for a business.
Do you think that World's top sports athletes begin a race with out a strategy? No way, everyone serious about achieving ends in any field has learned they need to have several effective strategies available PRIOR to beginning their own venture, event and so on
While marketing basics remain the same, the way in which in which those ideas are applied inside Social space will change depending on the platform you will be using to market your enterprise.
The four the majority known Social web pages are Facebook, Youtube, YouTube and LinkedIn. Each represents a possibility for businesses to prospects in a different way.
Like are you a B2B business wanting to sector your products or services to help other business owners? Employ LinkedIn.
Would you like to teach prospects and clients in a short, simple and fast to understand way, employ YouTube.
Would you like to generate a community of serious fans and build relationships them in a personalized way? Use Youtube.
We know that a approach is simply a method and series of steps should take to achieve a particular outcome. Creating a Societal Strategy requires a comprehensive analysis of which you'd like to target together with how you're going to aim for them in the best approach.
Some initial doubts you might like to ask yourself to help you formulate your Social media marketing Strategy are:
That's my target site visitor? Who REALLY is my own target customer? Precisely what their buying motivators? What are the 6 prime thoughts or queries they would think in advance of buying my product/service? What is the best way to objective my prospects? Precisely what is my outcome? Must want to: Receive even more new business leads, Generate closer relationships using customers, Receive much more referrals from active customers, Create a neighborhood of people passionate approximately my product/service/topic, Create my database…? Which else has the exact same customers as people? How will this marketing funnel are similar to? How can I hold your prospect's attention cover?
And when creating ones own Social Marketing Campaign…
So what can I give them that will no one else may well? Will they get instantly or might this campaign just initiate the investing in process? How can I current my offer you might say they're not used to in order to deliver substantial value to them? Just were my user, what would inspire me to take action to obtain? When they read the following (headline, copywriting), and what will they think and/or how would people feel in reaction to this? If this does not work, what better could work? That most often buys with me, male or female? Are generally they single, wedded or in a connection? How old are generally they? Will that they buy from me when, or will they will purchase regularly? Which are the steps to take a customer through to pay for? What marketing standards will work most efficiently in this campaign? (Scarcity, Social Proof, Power, Liking, Reciprocity) Precisely what testimonials will be very best for my marketplace? Will they take action better to written and also video testimonials?
With developing your Web 2 . 0 Strategy it's vital that you answer a lot of these questions not right away, but throughout the system of your Strategy.
If you ever miss your recognise the first time, keep intending until you get the strategy right. With just about every campaign you'll can come closer to cracking this code that is a customer's mind.
If you possibly can get inside their face, you're on your way for a sale. The majority of a person's prospects will have the identical questions, queries, factors and turn offs. If you can figure out precisely what these are you'll produce a compelling Social Media Approach and you'll enjoy wonderful results that most some others can only anticipate to attain with their Communal Marketing.

There's a Chat in OM where Satan shows concern over Beel because he saw Beel talking to himself, crouched down in the garden, which Beel later reveals to have been him talking to a very frail plant he found because Mammon told him that talking to flowers helps them grow.
And what I adore about this is that it shows things about the brothers involved that we don't always get to see in the main game, or that are sometimes overlooked for the funny hijinks.
- Beel notices incredibly small details. The flower is small and hidden enough that Satan initially thinks he's talking to himself. He doesn’t actually see the plant at all. And Beel is the tallest brother, so it's not as if his height would be any help to him noticing something on the ground that's small, hidden, and frail, especially when he’s doing a task like watering the garden. That’s just a job to be done, and most people would pay more attention to where the water’s going and how much there’s left to do than they would to each individual flower. He must have been paying genuinely close attention to his surroundings to even notice it to begin with.
- Beel's care for things extends even to nature. He talks to the plant because he wants to help it grow. It's just a small, dying flower, one of however many there are in the House’s garden; there’s no reason to fret over it when there’s probably plenty of other flowers around it, and maybe even flowers of the same species.
But Beel’s genuinely invested in bringing it back to health. He’s seen this tiny, sickly, insignificant flower, and his first thought is to make it better. It's why he later clarifies the situation to MC, asking for more help, because the flower hasn't shown any signs of improvement.
(Very quietly, it makes me wonder if part of the reason he does this is guilt. Maybe Beel just doesn’t like to see things that are dying.)
- Despite how the brothers act towards Mammon most of the time, Beel fully takes on his advice. He spends days talking to the flower because Mammon told him that's something that might work, and it's only when the flower hasn't gotten better that he seeks more help.
At no point did he question this advice. At no point did he think that the “scummy” second-born would say something stupid, or irrelevant, or unhelpful. Mammon told him to talk to the plant, and he so did.
He says that he asked because Mammon was nearby, but at any time he could have just walked right past him, found someone else, and asked them. He could have completely ignored the fact that Mammon was there - especially considering how little the brothers tend to think of his ideas, to begin with - and found someone “more competent”. But he didn’t.
Which means he genuinely has no issues turning to Mammon for help. He genuinely thinks Mammon can give competent advice.
Out of all the brothers, Beel is usually the best when it comes to their overall treatment of the second-born, so maybe that isn’t surprising - but he can be derisive as well.
So it's nice to see, in a situation where it was just the two of them, without the antagonising influence of the others, Beel show he's more than willing to listen to Mammon as a voice of authority and knowledge - especially over something he's worried about. He respects and trusts what Mammon says, and believes it.
- Mammon saw Beel worried over a plant - something small and insignificant that has no greater purpose in the world and hosts no real interest for either of them - and gave him the best genuine advice he could.
Mammon likely doesn't actually know how to care for sick plants, but wanted to try and give Beel something to work with. We know he cares for his brothers deeply - almost (if not exactly) to the point of self sacrifice - so it's not a stretch at all to say he probably suggested talking to the plant in full seriousness, hoping it would help Beel.
It's a common piece of advice, after all. I've heard people say it all the time, from the most amateur gardener to the most professional; talking to your plants keeps them happy and helps them grow.
The bit that really gets me about it, though, is the fact that Mammon... knew it? Out of all things, you'd expect him to care about gardening the least - and to suggest talking to a plant even less. It goes completely against his image, but not against what we know of Mammon as a kind and caring (as well as emotional) demon beneath the facade.
Him, in a similar position to Beel, crouched down low and out of sight to murmur quietly to a plant he thinks needs an extra boost, is well within the spectrum of things Mammon would do but deny doing if caught.
And I just think it's sweet, imagining him passing on advice he's used in the past over a similar thing he might have done to try and help his clearly worried little brother.
- Satan, in a chat with Solomon and MC, shows genuine care and concern towards Beel.
His first instinct is to ask MC and Solomon if they might know what’s going on. He’s noticed a pattern of behaviour that’s unusual for Beel - “sitting out in the garden, mumbling to himself”, to quote him directly - and once it’s gotten to a point that he’s worried, he asks if anyone else knows what’s wrong.
It shows a fair bit of forethought, too. Satan didn’t immediately assume something was up, didn’t immediately dogpile on Beel; he let it play out, keeping a close eye, until it went on for long enough that he thought it might be something bigger. He’s often shown as being thoughtful about how others might react to things (at least, when he’s not enraged), but it’s interesting to see the actual depth of not only his caring, but his understanding of emotional states and how to handle them.
Satan isn’t heartless. If he notices something wrong, he’s very likely to approach the person in question (or people he trusts) with his concerns in a very gentle manner explicitly to avoid overwhelming them. He actively cares enough to pay attention to the people around him, and to notice when someone starts acting differently.
This is especially sweet when it comes to Beel. The brothers have a tendency to treat Beel as the big, gentle giant who doesn’t have a worry in the world except for what he wants to eat. He’s quiet, complains little, and shoulders so many burdens in stride that they often overlook his struggles - if they’re even aware that they exist, because Beel loves his family so much he tries to avoid troubling them.
The fact, then, that Satan not only noticed, not only inquired about his health, but then - when Solomon and MC suggest that maybe Beel’s stressed out and bottling up his emotions - openly says this:
Just shows so much love. The game sometimes overlooks just how much Satan loves his family, but this? This shows it, without a doubt.
- Satan messages the chat with Solomon in it.
This surprised me when I went back to look over the conversation; I genuinely remembered it as him talking to Levi, for some reason. Beyond that, if you asked me who I thought it’d be that he questioned for information regarding Beel’s health, it wouldn’t be Solomon that immediately jumped to mind.
In this situation, you’d think it’d make more sense for him to ask MC and Asmo (who he’s shown to have a very close and affectionate relationship with), or maybe MC and Belphie (who would probably be the first demon anyone should go to regarding Beel, and who Satan definitely gets on with).
As far as I’ve seen - which, admittedly, I’m not caught up on any of the Human World events from the main game beyond spoilers I’ve looked up - there’s not a lot of, if any, interactions between Beel and Solomon? Most of them are Solomon trying to give Beel food, and Beel trying to foister that food off onto someone else because Solomon’s cooking is one of the few things he can’t stomach.
So maybe it says more about Satan’s relationship with Solomon. Looking back through the chats, Solomon feels comfortable enough with Satan to outright ask him if he’s kissed MC (in the chat where Luke overheard Satan and MC talking about K.I.S.S.), and Satan doesn’t react negatively even though it’s a genuinely personal question.
Likewise, Satan, when furious over one of his dramas, immediately turns to the chat with MC and Solomon in it. He explicitly states that he doesn’t know what to do with the feelings he’s got left over from the cliffhanger, and wants to talk it over with the two humans. Which is interesting in two ways:
+ It shows that Satan is comfortable enough when angry to go to Solomon and MC, confident that they won’t actively make it worse (which is always possible when it comes to Satan’s Wrath once it’s ignited).
+ It shows that Satan’s more than happy to talk about how he feels in front of Solomon, and actively engaging him in that discussion. Yes, it’s only over a drama, but you don’t often turn to someone you don’t trust when you want to vent over something you’re passionate about.
There’s a fair bit of trust between them, I think, regardless of how either of them are typically viewed. Plus, the chat’s called Cat (3). It’s almost definitely just a pun, but the fact that a chat with Solomon and MC in it is also named after the one thing that can soothe Satan from an outright rage (as we’ve seen both in OtakuFM and in the main game) is interesting in what it implies about their relationship with him.
So, back to what I originally pondered: why did he go to Solomon and MC when he was concerned about Beel, and not Belphie (Beel’s twin, most likely to know what he’s up to) or Asmo (who lives at the House and is absolutely more likely to have seen Beel in the garden)?
He trusts Solomon and MC enough to take the matter seriously, with discretion.

summary; But for Jungkook to initiate some sexting, nevertheless sexting at 1pm on a Saturday, when you were at work and you were almost positive he was supposed to be on stream right now? Unheard of, you had to mark this down somewhere. warnings; sexting, dick pics, dirty talk?, phone sex, vivid depictions of jungkook being just so sexy bc its true, rating; mature (18+) misc; mentions of youtuber kook 🥰, he’s just horny, stupid selfie trends (see here), he’s a little whiny but so hot v.v wc; 4.6k
notes; I've had this in my drafts since april 😐 n then i was like maybe we should actually finish this so i started n then last night i hit another follower milestone!!! so then i rlly forced myself to finish this bc i was so 🥺🖤👩❤️💋👩 anyway enjoy lmk what u think its not proofread bc uhhhhh yeah 🤩
You’re at work when it happens.
It’s sometime between your usual listless thoughts of what to write for your weekly reflection papers for some course, and your trip to your store’s pharmacy to bother a coworker. Your phone vibrates in the pocket of your work apron. You’re normally pretty good at ignoring the sound, most of the times it’s just a classmate asking for help on homework or Jimin lamenting his love life, so you’ve grown used to ignoring the tiny vibrations, stocking a quarter shelf of different cooking oils before something in your brain tells you to check your phone.
You already know it’s not something grave, but that thought alone means nothing at the sight of the tiny jungkook♡ that appears at the very top of the list of notifications. Your boyfriend’s texts tended to be wildcards, never following a certain routine or alluding to any specifics. He could send you a long paragraph on how much he misses the scent of that one shampoo, the one you’d briefly run through last year because your usual brand was out of stock, with a ten point explanation on why you should switch back to it. Or two word, caveman sentences that drove you crazy because you never understood what exactly he wanted when he’d send those nondescript “munchies dip” texts.
You unlock your phone, clicking to the messenger app instead of directly on the notification. Hopefully the preview will give some warning on whether you should invest in this conversation or not. You hated the read receipts on messages, choosing to ghost conversations as you pleased, but Jungkook had wiggled his way into your phone one afternoon and specifically turned them on for his chat with you, and you’d never turned them off since. So he knows if you choose to ignore Attachment: 1 Image at 1:43pm exactly, and he'll pester you about it until you respond.
You contemplate it all for twenty seconds. It could be a variety of things, you guess, but the only way to find out is to actually see with your own eyes what he’s up to this time. He knows better than to distract you at work, is usually really good at waiting until your shift is over to spam you with messages. For him to send you something now, only a few hours into your shift, is uncharacteristic of him.
But you glance down the aisle anyway, taking note of some elderly woman you’d helped a few minutes prior and another teenager aimlessly walking around, probably looking for the snack aisle. You inhale and press down on your chat with Jungkook.
It takes you a moment to make out exactly what the image is, twisting and turning your phone around as you fight to see it without raising the brightness. It’s only when your eyes finally adjust to the dark screen, the faint beeping of the check-out registers fading into the distance, that you realize it’s a shot of the front of his sweatpants.
“Hm?” you murmur, getting brave enough to pinch the image between two fingers, zooming in until you’re able to decipher a multitude of details. For one, there’s a Flaming Hot Cheeto stain on the hem of his sweatpants, the same one you’d accidentally put on there a few weeks back and haven’t been able to wash out since. Then there’s that huge palm of his, tattoos and all, rested carefully against his thigh. It’s veiny and thick in all the right places, bringing all the attention to his knuckles, which you guess is what he was going for when you consider the centerpiece of the image—his hardened dick straining against the grey material.
There’s no text attached to the message, no snapchat font slapped over the image, so you wonder what exactly he wanted you to do with this information mid-shift. Well, realistically, you know exactly what he wants, but that doesn’t mean you won’t clown him before getting there. After all, Jungkook was seldom the naughty texter; sexting annoyed him, he would whine, because he would do all that and not even get to feel the true pleasure of sex, of being inside you. You’ve dabbled in it here and there, but it never went as perfectly as it did in pornos. He’d drop his phone and forget it, or you would straight up ignore the damn device as you went all in on yourself.
But for Jungkook to initiate some sexting, nevertheless sexting at 1pm on a Saturday, when you were at work and you were almost positive he was supposed to be on stream right now? Unheard of, you had to mark this down somewhere.
you what’s this about?
You decide to play it safe, because as exciting as the image of Jungkook at his computer chair, cock hard and angry at the thought of you, fluffy hair ruffled in that way you adored, jaw twitching and tightening as he touched himself, moaned deep and rough and just how you liked and—
As nice as that image was, for all you knew this vague message was Jungkook sending you a picture from a week ago to purposefully fuck with you at work.
jungkook♡ what time u get off? jungkook♡ miss you bad baby
Your stomach flips, and it takes everything in you to not squeal and bounce between the shelves like a toddler on a sugar rush. Here was your boyfriend, the cutest, sweetest boy, sending you dirty pictures of himself and telling you how much he needed you. Yes, YOU, not some random on the street, or someone else in a club, Jungkook needed pleasure and that pleasure could only come from you.
You glance back down the aisle again, checking your surroundings for the second time that day. You’ve been standing here, stock cart empty for a little over five minutes now, so it’s probably best to change location lest your manager come barking down your neck. You send one quick text before heading off for stock again.
you 4pm :(
Your phone dings again just as you’re leaving the stockroom, but you decide to check it once you get to the hygiene aisle you need to work on next. Still, the prospect of Jungkook having texted you has you walking with a skip in your step, one your coworker teases you about when you pass by her.
jungkook♡ fuck jungkook♡ tell me what panties youre wearing jungkook♡ please ?
You bite your lip, stopping yourself from smiling at the tone you’d picked up from his message. There was no doubt he’d been riled up for a while now, and you wonder if he sat through his usual Saturday morning streams with his cock hard, pushed against the edge of his desk like you knew he did when such things happened. The thought has you nearly fumbling with a bottle of aloe vera.
you seamless black thong you the one you bought me at the last vs sale
Briefly, you wonder if you should have lied and told him you were wearing that red lace set he’d given you last Valentine’s Day, the one he’d bought with his first big YouTube check. But the beauty of being in a relationship with someone like Jungkook is that you could have told him you were wearing grandma undies and he’d still think you were the most beautiful person to grace the planet.
jungkook♡ mm jungkook♡ tiny ones u ruined last time?
You set your phone down, speed stock a row of sunscreen like you’re on some shelf stocking national competition, before daring to text Jungkook again. Your cheeks are still warm, and your hand tightens dangerously around a bottle of shaving cream.
Before you can formulate some response, he’s sending another one in.
jungkook♡ u soaked those jungkook♡ came fast that day jungkook♡ want u so bad
Your cheeks burn, a little embarrassed that he remembers such details. As with all Victoria’s Secret panties, they were, like Jungkook said, extremely thin. You pause, shift your stance just barely, but you’re definitely wet. Not terribly so, but with this fabric, you’d start to notice it sooner than with others.
you mm you makin me wet bunny
It’s not a complete lie, but knowing Jungkook this is exactly what he needs to hear to get that competitive streak going. You shake your head to clear your thoughts, stocking another section of men’s shaving cream. It takes longer for him to message you back, and you wonder if he got off fine on his own. If it’s over now, at least he provided you with some distraction midway into your shift.
When he texts you again, you’ve almost completely convinced yourself he’s finished, so the Attachment: 1 Video that appears on your lock screen throws you for a loop.
It’s a short clip, no longer than ten seconds, but it has you scrambling to lower the volume on your device as some unsuspecting mother of two wanders past. You flash her your practiced smile, the same one you give all the store’s customers. Not like your boyfriend is jacking it off on your phone, shallow pants filtering out from the speakers.
You turn your phone over carefully after she leaves, try to at least pretend you’re still doing your job as you play the video again.
Sweats are gone, but boxers remain. Legs deliciously exposed, thick thighs with muscles that ripple when he moves. Shirt pulled up just slightly to showcase that broad expanse of tummy, cute belly button and defined abs that tighten with each glide of his palm over the outline of his cock. Your mouth fills with drool at the sight. He was so hot.
Your brain hasn’t even processed it yet, all your energy directed towards your clenched pussy, when he shoots another text.
jungkook♡ im so fckin hard jungkook♡ wanna kiss yuo every where baby jungkook♡ come ove r soon ??
Shutting your eyes and counting to ten doesn’t help ward off the sudden wave of horniness that consumes you, but it does remind you of the job you’re supposed to be doing now. You shake your head, as if the image of Jungkook’s dick throbbing beneath his boxers, low voice in your ear, will magically disappear. It doesn’t, and it plagues you even more when you begin stocking a section of sunscreen, numbly instructing yourself on what to do next. Shaving cream, sunscreen, lotion next, you repeat.
It doesn’t help.
Two minutes later and you’re scrambling for the phone you’d hastily tucked into your apron pocket, tapping your passcode in until your messages with Jungkook are pulled up again.
you after work you promise
Your head is absolutely spinning, the coil in your stomach too tight for you to try and be a functioning member of society. Something in you says to sneak off to the bathroom and call him, but your boss is a little bit of a prick when he wants to be, thinks you take too many bathroom breaks as is.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear. A curt call of your name has you whirling to face your shelves again, phone tightly pressed against your ribs like maybe it’ll melt into your skin and he won’t see it. At the same time, your sudden fright has you scrambling to turn it off, fingers sloppily pressing against the buttons, hitting the volume like seven times before you eventually feel the familiar click that signals it’s off.
Your boss disappears shortly after, and with his sudden appearance having made every hair on your body stand, you find yourself now slumping against your stock cart. Jesus, that man was a handful to deal with.
The paranoia sticks for a little bit, has you stocking shelf after shelf like a robot until you finish the entire row of hygiene products, back stiff from bending over so much. It’s only when you return to the stockroom ten minutes later that you dare take your phone out again.
A pleasant surprise awaits.
It would appear that during your haste to hide your phone from your boss— Jungkook’s scandalous messages and all —your frantic hands had done something else. A fuzzy picture on your end, a blurry display of lotion bottles you had stacked just before your boss’s impromptu appearance, with no words to accompany them. Normally Jungkook would have ignored that; you frequently sent accidental messages like this, butt texted him, he says.
But there’s something about Jungkook’s horny brain that makes him do stupid things, makes him blow up your phone with a series of question marks, call you four times, whine and fuss in your message thread, and eventually, send you probably the oddest image to date.
jungkook♡ ??? jungkook♡ ????what is that jungkook♡ baby please jungkook♡ I don’t get it ??
jungkook♡ Missed Call (4)
jungkook♡ baby jungkook♡ what does it mean jungkook♡ please ur drivign me insane jungkook♡ jsut wanna hear yuor voice jungkook♡ fuck please just
And then, there’s another one of those cursed Attachment: 1 Image messages.
You shouldn’t be as surprised as you are. You’ve been dating Jungkook for a few months now, know he had that sort of unique personality most college dropouts turned YouTubers do. But every now and then the absurdity of his actions makes you question him still, makes you wonder what exactly goes on in that pretty head of his to warrant such ideas, makes him balance a bottle of body lotion on the thick outline of his cock like this.
Unlike the first few images, this one was taken in front of a mirror. The blinding fluorescent light in his bathroom paints him in a stark color, has every inch of his pretty face on display for you. Rosy cheeks, dewy skin. Perfectly swollen cock straining beneath his grey boxers, curved up against his hip. Shirt pulled up, finally freeing that expanse of muscles on his abdomen, cute little belly button on display once again. The red material is pulled up to his mouth, pearly white teeth biting down on the fabric, and he’s got this flushed expression on his face.
But the real star of the show isn’t his chiseled abdomen or sexy expression, but the sheer hardness of his dick that lets him balance a bottle of body lotion over it, like a fuckin’ shelf or something. He’s so hard, dick so full beneath his boxers. So big too, the little boxers pulled taught around said engorged cock and thick thighs.
Your brain says to laugh, to tease him for being such a clown even when he’s horny as hell. He won’t take it to heart, will probably laugh along with you and you’ll add it to your still growing list of funny memories.
But your caveman libido says call him, so that’s what you do, ducking down behind a new shipment pallet with a squeak as the phone rings. It only lasts four seconds before he picks up, voice breathy and low, but it sounds so loud in the silence of the stockroom.
He doesn’t even let you get a greeting in. “You like my picture, baby?” he husks. It sounds like he’s right there, right beside you, speaking into your ear. Your pussy throbs at the way he sounds. Paired with the picture from before, it has your body tingling all over.
“What the fuck is that?” you hiss, trying to not let the sudden overflow of arousal leak into your words. Jungkook chuckles.
“What?” he huffs. There’s the brief sound of shuffling, the scratchy noise of his phone presumably being pressed against his shoulder. “I’m so hard, baby,” he sighs before you can pretend to reprimand him any further. “Fuck— you, can you just talk to me?” he groans, and the disgusting sound of him spitting into his palm fills your ear.
Your face feels warm, eyes nervously peering across the stockroom like your boss will suddenly appear now of all times to rip you from this important phone call. The anxiety and arousal mix weirdly, have your leg bouncing but every new movement sends a shock up your aching cunt to your chest, and then out to the tips of your fingers.
“You shouldn’t be doing that when I’m at work,” you murmur hurriedly, moving to nervously bite at your finger. Jungkook moans softly.
“Uh huh,” he says.
The air conditioning turns on and you nearly jump out of your own skin. “Kook,” you stress, frazzled by your own burning arousal and the fear of being caught. Like you said. Weird mix. “I— not when I can’t respond.”
He shudders on the line. “You’re responding now,” he points out. You hate when he’s right. Before you can defend yourself, define what a proper response is in this scenario, he’s beating you to the punch. “Baby,” he whimpers, voice so airy yet low, makes your eyes roll into the back of your head, back unconsciously arching. “Couldn’t stop— fuck.”
Your mouth feels dry, all and any form of lecturing fading from your thoughts as you become consumed in Jungkook’s little whines and whimpers. He talks smoothly, a modern day Casanova, and it’s certainly because of that cult-like harem he’s gathered on YouTube. Teenage girls who kiss his ass, tell him he’s cute and dreamy. Make his ego so big.
But then he gets horny and can barely contain that lisp you tease him about, shivers and melts when you put his cock in your mouth. “Couldn't what, bunny?” you mumble, voice drawn tight because now you were really horny, and it was all his fault.
The nickname makes him mewl prettily, your speaker suddenly going scratchy as he fumbles with his phone. “C- Couldn't stop thinking about you— your mouth,” he admits, and now you’re certain he’d sat through that Saturday morning stream like this. “T- Tits,” he adds, lisp slipping through. “Fuck.”
You bite your lip, eyes fluttering shut as you remind yourself now was not the time or place to get yourself off. But, well. That didn’t mean you couldn’t get him off. “Sat through your stream like this?” you murmur, circling your kneecap with a trembling finger as if it’ll ward away the raging lust in your abdomen. Jungkook confirms with a breathy moan. “Had all your little fans wondering why you ended so early.”
He groans. “No,” he chokes, voice hot from how much it wavers. “They— I lied,” he confesses out of nowhere, “s- said I had a doctor’s appointment.”
You muffle a giggle into your palm. “Naughty,” you tease. “Too hard to do your job.”
“Just,” he cuts off, voice feathery. He sounds so close and you haven’t even said anything of substantial value yet. “Tell me,” he says quietly, “what to— mmh, what to do.”
A smirk consumes your features. You try to hide it, but there’s no one here anyway so you’re left grinning at an unpacked box of dental floss like a madwoman. “Why?” you inquire playfully, bask in the sad little whimper he responds with. “Shouldn’t you know how to make yourself cum?”
Another groan of frustration, desperation seeping into his tone when he speaks again. “Baby, please,” he begs, and it feels good. Feels nice to have this big YouTuber begging for you like this, whimpering your name like his doesn’t appear on the top 25 most viewed. “Like when you— ah — when you tell me… what to do.”
Your body feels hot, thighs pressing together with each whimper that falls from his lips. “Okay,” you concede, and he audibly moans in relief. “Tip first,” you instruct softly, eyes defocusing as your brain slowly starts to manifest the image of Jungkook spread out on his bed. Thick thighs, grey boxers pulled taught around them, fat cock between his pretty hands, inked knuckles squeezing around his member. You swallow. You can tell exactly when Jungkook does as you say because another muffled moan fills the speaker. “One finger,” you remind him quickly, head spinning from the mere memory of his dick. “Run it… run it over the slit, bunny.”
“Nngh—“ Jungkook sputters. You can only imagine the face he’s making now, the bottom lip he’s bitten raw by now. He does it a lot; it’s a nervous habit. But as sexy as it looks when you’re in bed, you know he has sensitive lips because of it, bleeds easily if he’s too harsh. You have half the mind to remind him about it now, but then he’s hurriedly gasping out for more. “And, and then? Wha— what then, baby?”
He sounds so sweet, melodic voice dripping with honey. “Touch your balls,” you say a little breathlessly. “Don’t squeeze,” you add, “just roll your palm over them.” Your palm squeezes against your thigh, as if it’s remembering the feel of his body, the soft skin between his thighs when you’re down there. He gets so jittery, thick thighs nearly crushing you if you drag him along too much. “O- Other hand on your cock,” you stumble, thighs squeezed together. “Stroke yourself just like I do, bunny.”
Jungkook complies. “Just like you?” he mumbles, suddenly sounds farther away. As if he’s dropped his phone off to the side. “Fffuck,” he grunts, “m- mouth is so pretty.”
“Hm?” you inquire, so consumed with tampering down your growing arousal for a second that you miss his sentence.
Jungkook’s breath stutters, and for a moment you’re met with the wet squelch of his cock in his hand. And then, “pretty mouth… make me— make me wanna see you cry.”
You bite your lip. “Why,” you say tentatively, finally caving in with a hand fluttering over the front seam of your jeans. Not a question, more of a gentle nudge for him to spill his thoughts.
“Be- Because,” he cries, fucking into his hand. He sounds closer and closer. You have to wonder just how long he had been riled up. It’s been a while since his first message, he was probably desperate by now. “Y- You’re so nice,” he cries, and the sentiment, though oddly out of place, makes your heart squeeze with adoration for the boy on the line. “Wanna be,” he groans, “wanna be so fucking mean to you, baby.”
The sudden change of tone makes you choke on a moan, hand pressing against your mound like it’ll somehow penetrate the thick material of your jeans and give you the sensations you crave. As it stands, it’s a muted feeling you get instead. When your hands fail, his voice compensates. “Fffuck, don’t you— don’t you think about it too?”
Admittedly, no.
Jungkook had always been a gentleman in bed. Always cared for your needs before his own, went out of his way to make you feel pampered and adored during your most vulnerable moments. Contrary to what his online persona might say, he was a good boy. Sweetest boy you knew, touched you like you were made of glass.
So to suddenly learn of this dream— fantasy? kink? —of his that you would certainly enjoy equally as much, well. It made you whimper into your palm, eyes worriedly flickering toward the stockroom’s entrance.
“Why?” you whisper, feeling like a broken doll repeating the same phrase over and over again. You’re suddenly aware of how hot everything was. Your polo felt sticky against your spine, apron too tight, jeans too stuffy. How long had you been hiding in here for? You don’t even know. Hopefully your absence on the floor had gone unnoticed.
Jungkook pants into the line; everything sounds so sticky and wet on his end, hand undoubtedly working away at his cock. “Shit,” he curses, doesn’t really answer your question until you prod a second time. “I- I like it,” he stammers. “When you… fuck, when you look small.” He elaborates before you can even ask, breath heavy and drawn out. He was so close. “When your mouth… when it hurts,” he says, thoughts a scrambled mess. “Like when you— when you cry because my cock is— it’s too big for you.”
A blatant ego boost you’ll ignore for now. Not like you can focus on too many things right now anyway. “Your cock is big, bunny,” you agree softly instead. Your legs feel cramped from crouching so long, so you push yourself to your feet. Except then you’re made aware of how fucking wet you are, panties soaked from the phone call with your boyfriend. You shift and they stick to your folds, make you release a shaky exhale that Jungkook doesn’t miss.
“I— you’re wet,” he says boldly, and this time your meek confirmation isn’t a lie. Jungkook grunts. “Fuck, baby, I—“ cut off by his own whiny cry, probably bucking into his hand like a madman by now. “Wanna, wanna kiss you everywhere,” he says, a call back to his earlier message. Your legs feel like jello. You want him to kiss you everywhere too— lips, tits, cunt that is dripping for him now.
“I- I’ll be over soon,” you stammer, feeling like you’ll pass out if he carries on any further. He sounds so good on the line, soft pants, rough growls. You can’t possibly listen anymore, not when you’re so wet and horny in the middle of your shift. “Just,” you pause, can’t get the image of his pretty cock out of your mind. Every blink makes it more vivid, reminds you of the vein on the underside, the exact shade of the tip.
“What?” Jungkook hisses, voice higher than usual, parts of it lost under the rapid movements of his hand. “Tell me, baby, tell me what to do,” he begs hoarsely, “I’ll do it.” Sounds so desperate and needy, two seconds away from busting all over his hand.
You have to lean against the wall of the stockroom to ground yourself, remind yourself you’re not in the same situation as Jungkook and can’t cum in your pants like a teenager. “J- Just cum,” you choke, eyes fluttering shut.
He must’ve been waiting for that command, because the second the words leave your throat he’s filling the line with breathy groans and cries as he comes all over himself, probably ruins his t-shirt. The sounds have your hips unconsciously bucking forward into nothingness, the frustration of not being able to cum with him manifesting in the form of a tiny little sob. Luckily, he doesn’t catch it.
When it’s all said and done, he’s left panting into the receiver, flooding your speaker with breathy sighs that only make you more and more aroused.
“You’re terrible,” you frown, cheeks flushed, body tingling. You flip your wrist over and check the time; it’s been about sixteen minutes since you disappeared from outside. Sixteen minutes of listening to Jungkook touch himself and moan and whine and whimper. Tease you with new possibilities you had never considered before. And now he’s satisfied and you’re not.
Jungkook chuckles, low and tired. The sound shoots straight to your cunt. “Come over after you shift,” he says, as if you’re not planning to fake a severe case of the flu right now in order to get off early and run to his bed. You only had a little less than two hours of your shift left anyway. Not like they paid you well to begin with. Jungkook shifts, releases one of those saccharine groans as he probably snuggles into his bed, all sweaty and worn out. “Want you to fuck my face, baby.”
You frown, counting to ten to calm yourself down. Another few minutes of listless conversation, and you hang up. Your body feels featherlight, a little woozy as you make your way back out into the floor.
Nothing has changed. Customers pour in and out, your boss scolds you for a display you didn’t do, and life inside the store drags on. No one knows that you’re soaking your panties to hell and back, Jungkook’s soothing moans in your ear. Life goes on.
you shift ends in 20

New anon, but I saw the last one and I have some thoughts. Specifically, I have been obsessing over ml for the last month or so, and I’ve only seen three episodes, and they were the three released before crocoduel. And you know what? I wasn’t that into it, it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t half as engaging as fanon and fanworks have been for me.
I’ve also done this with the Magicians, Supernatural, and a couple others. I think the reason that this works, for some people, is because it is a more familiar and in many ways, easier way to discover and become attached to new material and new characters. Fan writers and artists are coming from a place of love for their source material (no matter what issues they may have with it) and that bleeds out into their work. Time is spent developing the characters and their feelings, their relationships, in ways that canon so often can’t or isn’t allowed to, and reading that, it’s very easy to fall in love with new characters very quickly. There’s also common AUs and dynamics that make it much easier to start something new.
And also: comfort characters. So many fans find common ground with characters and further project onto them, particularly in fanfic. And because of that it’s often easier to identify with a fan’s interpretation of a character than it is to identify with the canon’s, since you have these more deeply explored feelings and relationships based on a combination of canon and the personal experiences of the fan writer. Also, with these kinds of fics it’s extremely emotionally affirming since for someone who doesn’t have much of any connection with the source material, it feels like the original, even if you’re reading a large body of work by a lot of different people. And I’m so used to fanfic as a substitute for the emotional work and character development that shows/movies/books don’t have room for or aren’t willing to get into, that approaching a fandom as it’s own original piece of media in a way, feels very comforting.
That’s my perspective on it anyways, and why I do this. I do think it is a good thing to engage with the canon to an extent, even if it’s just watching a few clips (how I found ml) but I also don’t think you need any real connection or knowledge of it to be deeply invested in the fandom. Sorry, this got very long.
you know, i totally get being on, like, the fringe of fandoms and interacting with fanon to an extent without a proper investment in canon (I have a couple fandoms like that), but i honestly just can't imagine becoming super invested in a fandom when I am not invested in the source material...maybe that's just a difference between you and me, idk.
but also, i gotta admit that i'm struggling a bit to understand the reason. you yourself pointed out that fan work is enjoyable because the creator's love for canon bleeds into it. and isn't that the reason that you would want to give canon a real chance? obviously there is fan content made out of spite lol (and sadly a fair amount in this fandom), but to me most fan content is like a love letter to canon. like, "i adore this thing so much that it inspired me to create and share with other people who adore it." and what better recommendation is there than that?? i would think people would wanna familiarize themselves with canon in order to better enjoy fanon(?)
i completely understand your point about fan content delving further into characterization and relationships where canon hasn't/can't, and that is such a big appeal of fanfic/fanart. but i don't feel like that's a reason to not engage with canon? on the contrary, i feel like you are missing something important in your understanding and appreciation of that wonderful exploration if you haven't experienced firsthand the foundation that canon set. and maybe that missing thing is just your personal interpretation of a character/dynamic.
for example, i could say, "adrien agreste is this, this, and this and he would do this but not this." and of course i will think im right because my characterization is always perfect 😌sakjdfaldjks but someone else might have a slightly different interpretation, and someone else will have another interpretation, and when you mush all those individual takes on a character together, you will get a good sense of who they are, but you still don't have the Original™️ to draw your own interpretation from. idk, to me it sounds like basing your opinion of chocolate ice cream on what other people are saying about it without ever trying it yourself? ajsldakljf maybe that's an oversimplification but i do think that without experiencing it for yourself, your understanding will always be kind of incomplete.
idk, i big agree with everything you said about why fan content is special, but everything that is a point in fanon's favor is not a knock on canon. to me fan content feels pretty inseparable from canon, so it just doesn't compute to me to take canon out of the equation? then we would have nothing.
i feel like it's almost kinda trendy nowadays to be like, "oh this show actually sucks lmao but the fanon and AUs are good." like it's shameful to actually...enjoy source material? 😭 i mean i completely understand that miraculous ladybug is not gonna be everyone's cup of tea and that's fine! but if you truly enjoy the fan content that much i encourage you to give canon a real shot. it's not that surprising to me that you watched 3 recent episodes and didn't vibe that much, since you haven't seen the 3 seasons of buildup that lead to them. miraculous has a neat way of tying a bunch of things together so if you aren't familiar with all of it, you're probably missing out.
personally my love for miraculous was kind of a slowburn at first. i only started watching the show because my sister and i made a deal that forced me to watch the first few eps lol. and i didn't really vibe either. but there must have been enough of a spark there for me to keep watching bc for some reason i did and the more i watched the more i fell in love with it until it became the thing that occupies my brain more than anything else. i started with canon and then got into fanon, but it could easily go the other way too. and if you're already invested in the story and characters, i have to imagine it would be much easier to push past the initial cringe of "this is a show about a couple of teen furries rated TV-Y7 on netflix" lol and give anything you don't vibe with the benefit of the doubt.
again, to be clear, i'm not trying to judge or gatekeep here! i'm just saying this because i genuinely LOVE miraculous. it's my favorite show. that's why i make things for it. that's why i have this blog. i want people to watch it. so maybe, pwetty pwease, try watching the show you like so much? 🥺👉👈

give me the a brainworms i am deeply invested in this man
(0) (2) (3) (4)
okay first of all you asked for this. second of all if i am a little off track from the game that is explained by me just building thoughts like building blocks without looking back. third i was supposed to be studying for an exam but this counts as practice right? it's character analysis anyway lmao.
buckle the fuck up, my dearest anon, because I have sub headings.
1. A as the Player Character
Let me begin with why I am obsessed with this horrid little guy in the first place: he's a silent protagonist. I am always obsessed with protagonists. It's a law of nature. I love taking hollow characters and dissecting them for scraps. It's a long standing practice of mine.
Being a silent protagonist, A, as X, does not have a set personality. However, there are patterns. Firstly, as any semi-silent protagonist, A is a reactive character. He does not start incidents, he only responds to situations, presented by the Sephirah, as they arise. He does not actively seek out new information, merely going about the routine of expanding departments, but expresses curiosity when information is presented to him.
I'm aware fandom likes to characterize X and A differently, likely because they are initially presented as different characters. I, on the other hand, would like to pose the theory that they are more similar than expected.
I believe that A is also a reactive character, rather than active. Despite the fandom wiki describing him as stubborn, the goal A pursues with such fervor, the completion of the Seed of Light, is not actually a goal he set for himself. Carmen is the one who set this goal for him by leaving him her legacy.
Throughout the backstory we get relating to the Cogito Project, A is Carmen's assistant, whereas Carmen is the driving researcher. This is how many of the City's inhabitants seem to be; going with the flow of goals set for them by superiors. Yes I will get into his attachment to Carmen later.
The above is not to say A isn't stubborn. Once he has accepted a goal as his own, he will pursue it at all costs, as is obvious from any and all flashbacks leading to horrible deaths. But the point isn't his pursuit of the goal, but where that goal comes from. Even Lobcorp itself supports this, despite what Hokma may say; A as X follows the "simple" task of managing the Corp's day to day activities, and executes any mission given to him by the Sephirah. He outranks them, and doesn't actually need to do their missions, but does so anyway. Players are driven by the reward offered by those missions, of course, and A might be the same in that regard. Nonetheless, at no point in gameplay do you do anything somebody else hasn't told you to.
The overarching narrative of the Script would be the most obvious example. Every single person in the game follows the script, whether they know it or not.
Lastly on this note, a phrase we hear attributed to A, "Machines must behave as machines." Now, Angela may be attached to this phrase because it bears significance to herself as a machine, and informs most of A's unjust treatmeant of her. However, what if it doesn't just apply to machines? The phrase reads as such, "Everyone must act according to their own role."
2. A, Carmen, and the disease of the mind
So, A will at any cost pursue goals Carmen set for him. Question is, why? The obvious answer would be saying he's in love with her, which like, true. But also, how did Carmen come to be so precious to him?
Let us return to the comparison, "This is how many of the City's inhabitants seem to be." We don't really know why exactly most characters joined Carmen, excluding mainly Daniel and Benjamin. But this does not mean we can't have theories.
Carmen's ideal was curing the "disease of the mind." What is the disease? Complete hopelessness. The inability to form aspirations and dreams, to think of a better future. A is a very reactive character who does not set goals for himself. Therefore, I personally conclude, that initially, Carmen's ideology resonated with him because he could identify with the disease.
This is the point where I start rewatching Lobcorp story clips. Dear god.
So, by briefly binging day 27 onward, I've come up with lines that very much support this lil theory of mine:
First, from Carmen, a description of the disease, "People lock away their own potential."
Second, a line from Angela, after the memory synchronization, "You've locked yourself in this prison without bars."
Carmen describes A as humble, and Benjamin thinks he is warm. If I suppose A was one of the diseased initially, Carmen would be the catalyst for this change. Carmen was someone with big aspirations, with plans to heal what is wrong with the City, and it gave him hope. He was one of the diseased, but through time with Carmen, with that relentless optimistic spirit, he may have been cured, for a time. It's not a stretch to say that she was his light.
But lor shows us what happens when the seed of light sprouts wrong, doesn't it? It distorts. A grasped hope for the first time and then it is ruthlessly crushed. Carmen was everything. Yes, A is described as a jack-of-all-trades, as a genius in all pursuits he puts his mind to, but what does that matter in the face of someone who can unite people? Who can give them hope of a better world? Who can inspire them to actually use the talents they have?
And what kind of pressure is it to put the legacy of a messiah in the hands of the diseased?
3. A and the Perception Filter: A is weak to White damage
No, I am serious about that. He's extremely weak mentally. Obviously death of a loved one is a changing experience for absolutely anybody, but Carmen's death destroyed him.
Not only did he refuse to confide this grief to anyone and bottled it up, now everybody looked to him to lead the project, but he just isn't Carmen. He isn't an ambitious person, he doesn't have the same optimism, he can't bring people together, but people expected him to, and he failed. Hard.
While he was without a doubt talented in science, he was also just an average guy.
After her death, A grew to hate humans. He lost trust in them. He refused to confide in anyone, and be confided in by anyone. Thus, the team fell apart.
In both lobcorp and lor, we get interesting tidbits about precations taken to protect the manager.
Firstly, Lobcorp's perception filter. The cartoony art-style of the game is a result of the game being in first person. Through the eyes of the manager, everything is cartoony!
This is a measure undertaken to specifically protect the manager's psyche. Angela tells us that, before it was deployed, the manager would frequently go insane, one notable incident including the manager trying to hang himself. When we first hear this, the previous managers and X are still separate in our minds. However, they're all A! A went insane multiple times without it.
This is understandable, considering that employees also frequently go insane and try to kill both themselves and others. But they're there in action, confronting the Abnormalities directly. Just watching them made the manager go mad. They could not handle the responsibility for the employees' deaths.
In lor, Angela explains why she picked the Rabbit Team from R Corp as their main contractor instead of any other team. One team was simply too big for L Corp's narrow hallways, and the other team... dealt in psychic damage. It was simply too big of a risk for the manager. But the manager is always secure behind the cameras. Would that teams methods just be that brutal visually, or would their attacks have reached the manager?
Combined with his immense grief at all of his friends and coworkers dying in part because of him, A cannot bear to look at death.
4. A's greatest flaw: Avoidance
A common thread during Core Meltdown flashbacks: A refuses to look at suffering. He just can't. Whether it be looking away from Elijah writhing on the floor or hanging up on Daniel's panicked report of death.
This is actually the thing Angela takes the biggest issue with, and what hurt her most. A would never look at her, acknowledge her, and she did not understand why. But I think A did not refuse to look at her out of maliciousness. Rather, it was out of grief over Carmen. He could not look at her without being reminded of what he lost.
Angela's creation came about because A wanted someone to guide him, someone like Carmen. He threw himself into the project to the point it made Benjamin happy that A was passionate about anything again. But as soon as the project he distracted himself with is complete, he is filled with regret. Carmen cannot be replicated, and he breaks again.
Furthermore, tying this back to my first point about A being a reactive person, we see Angela take charge over A. She's the one recruiting employees and leading the business. It was likely a relief for him to be able to step down from the leading position.
But avoiding it made everything worse. He did not act when he saw Elijah's unchecked ambition, he did not act beyond a simple check at Gabriel's decay, he gave Giovanni the same hope he clung to to no avail, et cetera et cetera.
Avoiding his problems is making them worse and sending everything down the drain (including his psyche), so he deals with it the only way he knows how, avoiding them more!
Biggest example of A's big avoidance problem as his psyche crumbles: the memory wipe. A, in perhaps his one singular moment of acknowledging his emotions, recognizes that he is incapable of fulfilling the Script in his current state. His grief is just too much.
By erasing his own memory, he could start fresh without his grief, because he might've really killed himself otherwise. His suffering became bigger and bigger, and he coped by avoiding it.
The memory wipe allowed him to distangle his problems. Through his interactions with the Sephirah (which I will not individually detail for the sake of my sanity and because I dumped all this on a friend on discord already), he can deal with and actually process his issues one at a time.
As the motto describes, only by facing the fear can he build the future. Only by finally facing his grief and acknowleding it, seeing that the past cannot be changed and he has no choice to move forward, can he actually do so.
5. The Sephirah as ghosts
Lobotomy Corporation feels like a ghost story. I've touched upon this in my previous A post.
As you reach the Corp's lower levels, there are less Sephirah. First there are four. They act like normal employees, and do not breach into the story's underbelly until you reach their core supressions and the facade breaks. Second, counting Tiphereth as one, there are three. They still go about their duties, but they know what they are. Third, there are two, and the facade is gone. They know what they are, and they will tell you about the sins of the past.
And finally, you reach Keter, and there is only one.
This gradual decay of the facade is what really gets to me. I said that by interacting with the Sephirah, A deals with his issues one by one, but that's what the Sephirah are, in this case. Representations.
The people the Sephirah used to be are dead, and the Sephirah are their ghosts. The core supression involve putting these ghosts to rest. Doesn't it match the progression of a typical ghost story? Find the ghost, find what they used to be, and help them move on.
So, if everyone is a ghost, then A is alone.
But, behind the scenes, the Sephirah are still there. They are still people, and they have changed for the better, too. As always, A simply does not look.
(Does he even see the good others see in him? Does he look away from praise, too? Did he even realize Benjamin's admiration for him? Will we ever know?)
6. A's end.
A's progression of moving on would be fine and dandy if it did not end as thus: A does kill himself.
A sees himself beyond the point of no return. Everyone is dead. He is alone. Carmen is never coming back. He can't call it quits now, or else everything has been in vain. (Even if the last days show us a part of him wants to just quit, so badly.)
So, there's only one thing left to do: follow the Script to its ending. Fulfill Carmen's legacy at all costs. Death as the ultimate release.
This is the point where I admit I do not like the death as release trope. But the game does a good enough job as presenting it as the only option A had, or the only option he saw himself as having.
However, I've mentioned it before, I'll mention it again: A was not alone. Death was his release, but he left wreckage. In order to end his own suffering, he inflicted the same pain he went through on others.
Throughout the game, he moves on and pushes through. The ending shows that in reality... he didn't.
At least in lor the characters stick together and help each other heal.
This has been most of my thoughts on A, amounting to my longest analysis post ever, having taken me approximately two and a half hours to complete, and clocking in at 2337 words including up to this paragraph.
Thank you anon for giving me the incentive to verbalize all of this, so I can finally be at ease having inflicted my thoughts on everybody else.
#Feli gets asked#lobotomy corporation#ayin#library of ruina#also i saw apparently another fandom besides lc uses the ayin tag which is just fun to watch honestly#many characters could rival this word vomit probably but as i said i already inflicted most of my thoughts abt netz on my good pal borgor#thank you borgor for dragging me back into projmoon stuff. also curse you terribly#long post#Feli speaks

Lately, everything has been terrible and stressful can I please get some fluff between sole and a married romanced companion doing married couple stuff?
(Heyy, I recognize you from my Skyrim blog! Hope everything starts getting better, whatever is going on)
(This is one of those things where if ya'll want a little drabble with a specific character..just ask! This may be more of a romantic fluff thing because i don't really know how to specifically make it about them being married //although I am thinking of writing wedding Headcanons// but you get the gist.))
Cait:
•She never thought she would ever find herself here. Surely, she thought, she would've been beaten to death or overdosed before love ever would've been in the cards. So, it would be a vast understatement to say she's sometimes at a loss for words when she looks at you. Her wife/husband..damn that felt good.
•Often times you are privileged to the more tender side of Cait, the side of her that allows her to be completely at ease. During these times, she'll allow you to kiss some of her scars- her face flushing a furious red similar to one of her hair. She usually isn't the sappy type, but if you tell her that you love them as much as you love her..cue the waterworks.
•It's maybe not the romantic gesture, but she finds herself consistently sharpening your knives when you aren't around- placing them back in your knapsack before you get home. Partially accredited to her want for your safety and otherwise well being.
•If you have long enough hair, she sometimes will braid it in one of those fancy four strand braids..you know..to keep it out of your face for combat.
•Bunch of nights spent on the roof of red rocket sipping crappy warm beer but neither of you caring, much too invested in each other's presence to be picky.
Curie:
•She keeps a very strict journaling of her research records...she also keeps one detailing every little aspect of you that she loves. She isn't exactly sure why she started doing this, but..it quickly becomes a post-war like scrapbook of the two of you. The biggest picture with tons of little hearts around it is the one of the two of you on your wedding day.
•You can sometimes find her uncontrollably grinning whenever she takes off her lab gloves and sees her wedding ring. She doesn't dare ever take it off.
•The second you get sick she is there by your side, the whole "in sickness" part of her vows surely weren't just for tradition.
Danse:
•Just as you wear his, Danse never parts with your dog tags. Between them and his ring, they may as well be a part of him. Danse also has your initials engraved on the gauntlets of his power armour.
•Danse is surprisingly physically affectionate. As such, there are many instances where your ever so serious husband will stop you, running his thumb over your cheek before randomly giving you a chaste kiss. Afterwards he almost always follows the action up with something along the lines of "I'll never understand how I've became lucky enough to be able to call you mine."
•Enjoys you keeping him company when he works on power armour or weapons. Even if you have no skill in blacksmithing, he will insist that you join him. Just imagine it- a warm wasteland afternoon, Dogmeat laying out in the sun, some tune playing over the radio while a sweaty, tank top wearing Danse getting you to mod weapons with him.
Deacon:
•Deacon easily becomes very protective over you, who can blame him? His luck with marriage hasn't been the best...but then again..neither has your's. The more serious side of your relationship will always be the lingering fear of losing each other..it's good enough to make you hold each other closer at night.
•Late night snack breaks while the radio plays and the two of you dance around together is a must have for each night.
•You two are now formally known as the only married couple of the Railroad. Congrats.
Gage:
•Totally has gotten a tattoo of your name. Let's face it, you probably have one of his as well.
•Loves spoiling you as much as he possibly can without crossing the line as your "right-hand" man. Gangs can't know too much. Well, they already know you're married..but you know..
•Doesn't drink very often, matter of fact he used to despise it. However, he soon sees the merriment in it via drunken antics with just you in your own privacy. Oh, expanding upon this..it's sort of a morning ritual for the two of you to watch the sunrise and drink some nuka-quantum to get the day going.
Hancock:
•The people of Goodneighbor view the two of you like some cool political power couple. It's neat. With that reputation also comes your husband seeking your counsel in political matters, let's just face it, he sometimes needs some guidance on how to be more strict without breaking his "code".
•Serves as a wonderful listener. I know, bare minimum- but seriously, he is incredibly wise when it comes to everyday strife. Plus, there isn't anyone else he'd rather listen to than his sweet sunshine.
•Often presents you with lavish gifts that you probably don't want to know where he got the funds for. Doesn't matter.
Macready:
•He probably will have warned you a thousand times over before marriage but by marrying you, Duncan has to come into the big picture. So, marrying Mac means adopting yourself another little one and becoming your own perfect family.
•As such, a lot of the fluffier times have to do with all of you bonding. Be it making some strange wasteland alternative to pancakes in the morning or going out together to go shoot cans off the fence- life is pretty good.
•Mac becomes at ease whenever he feels completely secure. This will bleed over into every aspect of him, meaning you'll often times find him being less awkward with flirting with you and he also isn't as guarded.
Maxson:
•Although the two of you both uphold your duties to a tee, you always make sure to have time dedicated to the two of you. Regarding this, Arthur is completely in awe during the first few months of your marriage. He knew he wanted you, he just didn't ever imagine it would happen like this, plus being such a young newlywed surely puts an extra pep in his step.
•On some of the off days where he can just have you all to himself: he likes to play chess, take walks, and simply cuddle the hours away.
•I also believe it's worth mentioning that Arthur occasionally leaves you heartfelt love letters around where you'll get them. So even in the days he can't spend devoted to you, at least you'll have that.
Nick:
•Slow dancing? Oh hell yes. Slow dances in the agency to songs like "Easy Living" are a common occurrence for the two of you.
•You'll never doubt how much he loves you, I can guarantee that much. Nick is nothing if not a romantic.
Piper:
•Date nights spent enjoying some power noodles as she screws with the robot vendor.
•Also a repeat offender of leaving love notes for you to find. Only she gets embarrassed if you bring them up. She's happy you like them, but..don't say anything.
•Nat is also a part of the family. Just so you know!
Preston:
•Regularly finds himself admiring you, not in the strictly surface way either. He just can't get over how wonderful you've made his life from the moment you entered it.
•Garvey loves taking you for some safe wasteland foraging, maybe not the most splendid married couple outing but, eh, it works!
X6-88:
•If given the opportunity, he'll sometimes play some songs for you if you happen to find a piano that still functions.
•The whole "married" thing sometimes confuses him. He loves you, but is he supposed to treat you any differently? Probably not- but he still wonders every once in a while

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Review - Contains Spoilers
Came out of DS2, and it ended up being quite a trip. Have to say that its a movie that left an impression on me for sure and a good one. I wouldn't call it one of the best MCU movies but its definitely one of the most memorable and unique ones. Definitely a film that felt different in a good way. But its not without its flaws.
The film is one of the few where I feel that watching in 3D really helped enhance the experience. The visuals are definitely really cool and all the action scenes are hugely enjoyable to watch. From a story perspective, this film is a lot like The Terminator. Wanda being The Terminator, America Chavez being Sarah Connor, and Doctor Strange being Kyle Reese. There are some visual cues that are reminiscent of the movie as well. Wanda is a legit terrifying villain in this movie. Probably one of the best villains in any MCU movie. WandaVision definitely does enhance the viewing experience of this film from that perspective. There are lines and musical cues that are directly from WandaVision and her whole plot is related to her trauma. The story isn't all that complicated, and that's a good thing in my opinion. Its just about Strange trying to protect Chavez from getting killed from Wanda and that leads to a trip through the Multiverse. One of my fears was that this film would feel like a Wanda movie and less a Doctor Strange and I'm happy to say that's not the case. Doctor Strange is really the anchor of the film and his character goes through quite a journey and has a fairly fulfilling character arc. I feel this probably the most likable Strange has been in the MCU. This film really humanizes him quite a bit. As I mentioned before, there are some really cool bits in this film. The coolest of which was a musical note based fight with two Doctor Stranges. That was pretty awesome. The finale was also pretty sweet with Zombie Defender Strange. There are some very dark and spooky sequences where Wanda lays waste to everything and everyone that comes in her way. Honestly, the action scenes are exhilarating. One of the things that I was initially disappointed with before watching the film was the runtime. I expected the film to be longer, but having watched the film, it makes a lot of sense. Because the plot is not overly complex and the setup for the villain is already accomplished in WandaVision, it makes sense for the run time to be 2 hours. While I loved the trippiness of the visuals and the action, I think more of it would be too much of a good thing and would have gotten overwhelming and repetitive. I think the film manages to use the time effectively and given some closure to the Strange and Christine relationship and establish a pretty affectionate mentor/mentee relationship between Strange and Chavez.
There are issues with the film, like I mentioned earlier. While Wanda makes for a terrifying villain, the film doesn't quite earn her turn to the complete dark side. While on one hand, there are references to the Darkhold having corrupted her mind, but on the other hand, Wanda seems to be completely aware of the things she's doing. The end of WandaVision didn't really imply that she was this unbalanced. As it stands, I'm not sure where else the MCU can go with her, because she's about as evil as she could have gone, but she also then had a redemptive moment at the end. They can't go back to her being evil because that would make the end of this movie pointless, and I highly doubt she's dead. The Strange and Christine relationship is also a big crux of this film. While I think there is a very affectionate chemistry between Cumberbatch and Adams and the What If episode about them went a long way towards making that relationship stronger, the the film is depending on an emotional investment in that relationship which the MCU has never really earned. Then there is the use of the cameos in the film, which probably represents my biggest disappointment with the film. I was spoiled on the cameos before the film, so I didn't have wild expectations going into this about other unexpected appearances, but what was disappointing is that the film has some high profile appearances of actors playing major characters, all of whom ended up looking really stupid and going out like punks. The whole storyline about Strange being on trial didn't really hold up in the first place. They were basically judging him for another Strange's actions, despite the fact it did seem that, despite his mistakes, Strange was really the key to defeating Thanos even in their universe. The level of distrust and some of the arrogance shown by Captain Carter and Captain Marvel and the stupidity shown by Mr. Fantastic and Black Bolt and the rest just makes their appearances very disappointing. I mean, its really cool to see Patrick Stewart as Xavier and Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic but they really get nerfed. Surely Xavier could have put up more of a fight in Wanda's head or done something and Mr. Fantastic could have done more than just get shredded. Captain Marvel and Captain Carter were oddly unlikable and they went out like punks as well. On top of that, there is a layer of conflict between Mordo and Strange in our universe which we have never seen on screen and apparently happened between movies, which this movies depends on to have tension between our Strange and AU Mordo. Its a weird choice and again seems unearned.
The performances in the movies are all outstanding. Elizabeth Olsen is getting a lot of plaudits for her work and its well deserved. She's superb and pretty scary and yet there is a layer of sympathy that you have with her right at the end. Benedict Wong as Wong is wonderful, with a genuinely substantial role. Rachel McAdams is always lovely to have although she is still not used to her full potential and it doesn't seem like we will see her again. Xochitl Gomez as Chavez is quite likable. Ejiofor as Mordo, Stewart as Xavier, Krasinski as Mr Fantastic, Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter, Lashana Lynch as Captain Marvel, and Anson Mount as Black Bolt are all welcome presences. But the film's real anchor is Benedict Cumberbatch. I think people will underrate his work here because his performance is subdued and understated compared to Olsen's more overt villain character, but he carries so much of the weight of this film. There is a hidden pain in this performance. He has to play it as a man who is keeping it all bottled inside. And despite that you really feel he's going through a journey and he adds quite a bit of humor to the proceedings.
Overall, Sam Raimi definitely bring a distinct horror touch to the movie. I will say that he, along with Taika, Gunn, and Chloe Zhao, are the directors whose distinct touch is very much apparent when watching the movie. I can imagine this film is not for everyone. Someone not caught up on WandaVision or Doctor Strange's journey in the MCU so far, may not connect with this movie much and find it cluttered. For me, I really enjoyed it. I give it an 8/10 on first viewing. I'll probably give it another watch next weekend.
Also, I would say that a non comic follower would have zero idea who Charlize Theron is playing in the mid credit scene. Could have included an "I'm Clea" in the scene. Also, the post credit scene is an epic troll. Got a big laugh out of that. Basically similar to the Captain America one from Homecoming.

jobs I hc the hoa kids doing in the future
joy: events/wedding planner - for obvious reasons. in my head she doesn’t do it immediately though. she does hospitality at uni and then takes some job weekend managing a hotel that she doesn’t enjoy much. it’s only after the insane stress of planning patricia and eddie’s wedding that she decides it’s the creative thrill of it that she loves so much. everyone kinda thinks that’s a nuts way to decide to do what they think she should’ve done all along but she doubted her ability.
jerome: founder of a successful business/investment group - he’s so smart and if he put his mind to it I think he’d be very successful. he doesn’t go to uni and instead takes a degree apprenticeship with alfie’s dad and works his way into his own company. he’s got the kind of initiative that makes very powerful men say ‘I like this kid’ and help him.
mick: athlete until he retires and then a coach/manager - self explanatory. he plays for a decent football team in with Australia or the uk. I don’t think he’s the most well known or anything but he does well for himself. he also has the natural ability to encourage people that would make him a great coach
mara: investigative journalist/activist - the vera incident taught her a lot about sources but she doesn’t give up easily. uni teaches her a lot but her teacher recognises her potential. she’s very determined and has a need to do good. her parents were also olympians so she’d have connections
nina: successful mystery author/full time chosen one - the play did well and to be honest she just writes about things that happen to her. tales of her school years do well, and once she’s covered her own and sarah’s experiences, she writes the untold stories of the ghosts and gods she encounters and helps. her publisher definitely thinks she has a couple screws loose but she’s doing well so who are they to care?
fabian: historian/researcher - not only is he interested and good in it but it’s what his family does. he has the hoity toity attitude of a weathered expert down and he knows a suspicious amount about egyptian gods but he’s able to provide evidence for the most part.
patricia: in a high managerial/sales role in a big company - I don’t necessarily think she knows much about the actual business she works in but when people find a girl that good at talking and selling things and getting people to bend to her will however much it takes they give her a whole staff of people and she loves it. this is one of the most different takes to the general fandom consensus but idk this job gives her more independence and I think she’d also love to travel with work and idk it makes more sense to me personally
kt: events photographer that volunteers at an animal shelter in her free time - each day is different which she loves. after properly honing I’m on her artistic talents during college she works under another photographer until she’s able to freelance. she works with mara, fabian and joy whenever they need her
eddie: firefighter - this is the one I’m most happy with idc. after losing his osirian powers he’s still left with a strong desire to help people and it’s also athletic and competitive and rewarding and allows him to feel himself again. he does go to college though. idk what he would do but he would have a good time.
willow: primary school teacher who also volunteers in her free time - it would just really fit her personality. she really loves people and it allows her to feel young forever. she’s so good at reading the children and helping them through everything.
amber: fashion designer - another obvious one idc it’s who she’s born to be she has the money connections talent and will. she gets an internship right out of fashion school and works her way up until she can start her own brand. she would absolutely destroy the met gala
alfie: children’s trauma councillor - alfie was hard but this felt right. for someone who went through a lot and was scared of everything he was very good at coping with and pushing through it for the sake of the people he cares about. I also just think he’d be so good with kids and making them laugh and feel heard. he’s just a very approachable understanding person
#these don’t fit in all that well with what I’ve seen other people say#but these are what makes the most sense to me personally#some are more basic but idk idc#eddie looks like a firefighter too you can change my mind it won’t work#house of anubis#hoa#txt#hcs
