Fun fact: the word 'chronic' means it's lifelong! and the phrase 'chronic illness' means I'm stuck with it until it takes me out, or I take me out. So, to the woman bothering me at a close family friend's funeral today about 'whether it goes away' can shut the hell up. Chronic means I'm stuck with it. Telling me I can think my way out of it when I have things physically wrong with my body will not do anything. No, it's not going away, and praying and trying to force me out of my wheelchair won't do jack-shit (except make me want to break your nose). Trust me, I have tried almost everything under the sun by now.

Besides, I've come to the conclusion if god/s exist, they decided I'm better used as a disability advocate than wasting their precious time on fixing the fact I'm in crippling pain constantly :DDD

This scene is still such a tease. We know nothing about what’s going on here. Why 2nd is smiling. Why AFO apparently has tears streaking down his cheeks. Despite the lack of concrete information, though, I think it’s pretty clear what 2nd’s association with Katsuki is.

AFO’s words here remind me a lot of Katsuki’s “you were supposed to be a pebble in my path” frustrations about Izuku. His insecurity was that Izuku was somehow more powerful than he could even comprehend, for reasons that didn’t have to do with whether he had a quirk or not. During Katsuki’s fight up to ch 362, SFO threw this insecurity in his face, calling him an “extra,” saying he’s nothing compared to OFA, etc. And yet. Something about Katsuki still terrified him and made him have a flashback to 2nd. Based on ch 369, I’m inferring that this was because AFO’s entire ideology revolves around the power dynamic of quirks. To him, a person’s worth is entirely based on that, and someone like 2nd or Katsuki should therefore be beneath his notice.

Defying AFO’s expectations, 2nd did something that sabotaged his plans for total domination and sent him on a multi generation wild goose chase to regain that power (OFA). We don’t know what all 2nd was responsible for exactly, but the emotional tension in the opening scene of 369 alone says it all. If Katsuki triggered a flash of that same fear, perhaps he too is capable of such a defiance. Maybe OFA exists because of 2nd, figuratively and/or literally, and now OFA will either be completely altered or ended because of Katsuki.

AFO should fear Katsuki for his convictions about Izuku, and for how deeply he understands but has now rejected AFO’s quirk-based ideology

It’s kind of crazy to me that Connor McDavid x Sam Bennett isn’t a bigger ship? Like, childhood friends to rivals as a whole thing? Sam was Connor’s winger when they were kids. They’ve known each other since they were 7. Connor once gave a quote about how Sam’s game always had bite to it. Sam talked about how Connor playing the same way he does as a kid is why he’s the best player in the world. to me they very clearly have the narrative for a popularish ship but no personality or off-ice anything really liek for two people with lore to be a popular ship they themselves need to be popular/have a personality today like ngl i dont doubt that many rich young boys born between 1996 and 1998 interested in hockey in the greater toronto area played with or against cmd at some point (like i think there's a picture of cmd and mm16 at age 7 playing with or against eachother) the connor/dylstrome lore includes silly snapchats from when they were 17, the natemac/jodrou lore includes silly car interviews where nate calls jo precious cargo from their time in the mooseheads + tna even before jo signing w the avs in 2023, like aaron ekblad/cmd is more of a compelling ship to me than sbennet/cmd lowkey also bc like who even really is sam bennett ykwim like idrk that he's a popular player w fans (also i think he's like actively tried to kill quite a few players lmfao)
