he's based on a golden retriever. his name is gravel and I have grown very attached while I was making him. me and my friend decided he would be shellys dog to help dig up bones and stuff but that might and probably will change. his twisted makes sounds as if he was hollow and full of gravel and also leaves a trail kinda like finn! surprisingly not a main but my friend tried to convince me to make him a main so I did make a second ability called guard dog that makes him get a speed boost when someone's hit. also his trinket lets him get more stuff because he's trained by shelly to find stuff.. (fossils originally, but that skill carried over)

I got my (now 18-year-old) daughter into Ao3 back in 2021. I taught her she should always comment - even if the fic looks old or abandoned or whatever. She did.

Well - she got this email this morning:

The fic was written in 2014 and essentially abandoned.

Bethy read and reviewed in 2021 (and was actually the only person who had commented at all).

Today in 2025 - the final chapter was posted by the author and this was her reply to Bethy’s comment.
