Kazuha, sweetie, I'm not your biggest fan, but I'm going to be incredibly honest with you right now, and that's because I don't really understand what you're expecting from Heiji atp.

You're his self proclaimed, so called, 'older sister'. The first thing you do when you meet a friend of his, or a supposed girlfriend to be more accurate, is introduce yourself as his older sister. Whenever anyone claims that there's any romance between you guys, you refute it and call him your stupid little brother.

EVEN I STARTED TO GET MIXED SIGNALS AT ONE POINT. If not for the blushing we clearly see as the audience I would've been soldified in my belief that it's unrequited love for Heiji. Dramatic irony at it's finest.

Either way– WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM HIM?? You keep brother-zoning him to the point where only the Hattori Heji himself could be so stubborn to ignore this weird girl reverse psychology that would keep any other guy at a two meter distance.

Don't think you're any better, though, Heiji. If any third party who had never watched dcmk before had to give their opinion after looking at the overall confession bull crap you've been stalling these past three decades they'd think you're trying to impress Shinichi, not Kazuha. Won't blame them, I myself am pretty confused.

You're not even trying to think like ‘Oh, I'm doing this because Kazuha only deserves the best’ NO. IT'S ALL BIG BEN THIS KUDO THAT. I feel kinda bad for Kazuha.

Don't even get me started on how awkward it is to keep being so possessive over her when y'all aren't even an item (I'M LOOKING AT YOU TOO SHINICHI. GLARING REAL HARD HERE.). If she's seeing some other guy (which would never happen because of course she has fallen head over heals for you. Ugh- this is triggering my gag reflex.) then leave her be, because you either act like a chicken after being all bark and no bite or idk, grow a spine and fricking confess??? You can't go around calling her yours and then noping out of a confession. God my blood pressure keeps spiking because of these blockheaded teenagers I need to go take a few deep breaths.

I would like to know what they actually even talk about or bond over. From what I understood, Kazuha really likes the sound of his katana when he practices, which is high-key weird and makes me feel deaf cause how do you even hear that sort of stuff? And... What does Heiji like about her again? These guys need to explain what they like about their crushes more often. Or at least maybe ask themselves about it every once in a while, yk, just to make sure all of this stress is worth it. I will NOT be talking about Aoko and Kaito purely for the sake of my heart and blood pressure; they can only handle one dcmk couple at a time.

In conclusion, a man with an unresolved inferiority/superiority complex–because he somehow has both–so severe he cannot function without making it about his rival should not be looking for a relationship before seeing a therapist. Thank God his actual friendship with Shinichi isn't an eighth as bad as you'd think it should be; they're one of the most iconic duos ever, let's just keep their love lives outta the mix (Heiji is high-key supportive though, so there's that ig).

Edit: Came back after I realized I phrased my opinion on Heiji and Shinichi's friendship in a way that was easy to misinterpret. What I mean to say is that they're my favorite dcmk duo but I just can't stand how Heiji prioritizes one upping Shinichi rather than getting his feelings out there. I say Heiji ditches Kazuha as a love interest and forms a trio with Shinichi and Shiho. They'd be unstoppable homies that would do the unspeakable for each other.

#I don't like Aoko just so y'all know #I would've adored Kaito to bits if not for the fact that he thinks it's funny to flip a girl's skirt.#Then again. GIRLS. PUH-LEASE WEAR SHORTS. I BEG OF YOU. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.#So yeah I mildly dislike Kaito for that but I love him otherwise.#Can we just. Remove the portion of the female cast that is–if you think about it–unnecessary to the plot #like Kaito doesn't necessarily need to have an Aoko to keep him from feeling guilty and upset for the inspector #especially since they're neighbors either way and his parents are very absent #it's concerning to leave a child so young alone at home without supervision. so yeah Kaito definitely lived with the inspector– Aoko or not #Their relationship will have evolved different without Aoko yes and it will either lead to them being closer or even far more detached #exploring all of them would be impossible yet all the more intriguing because now Kaito's feelings for the inspector would more nuanced #and personal rather than the diluted version in canon where he mostly tries to help the inspector for Aoko's sake rather than #for the inspector's well being #even if it was part of the reason why he went easy on him it was obvious how he was more focused on Aoko and how she felt.#At least get rid of the even more unnecessary perverse traits and habits present in nearly all of the male characters?#I'm so mad rn #saff-ron tag #dcmk posting #dcmk #Dcmk rant #rant post

one day there WILL be a black girl in a fanganronpa that will be a survivor and/or be desired as a love interest to somebody. one day there will be a black girl who wont be treated as the side character or the support girl throughout the series until the last minute. she will be explored more before its too late. TRUST!!!!!!

8: common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

People always say that Barry didn’t suspect anything about Mirror Iris until she kicked him out, but that's literally not true! In 6x11, literally the episode after Iris is replaced by Mirror Iris, Barry’s already suspecting that something is off about her. Joe talks him out of it, saying that it's part of how in a marriage, people grow and change. But...no!! It wasn't!! Mirror Iris was pulling away, and Barry noticed!! He even brings up his concerns to her, and she gaslights him! As Iris’s father, Joe should've been way more concerned than he was.

On that note...the more people say this, the more it strays a little close to victim-blaming for my taste. Barry was gaslit by Mirror Iris every time he dared question her, not to mention her gloating about raping him (“all those days, weeks, talking about our day, sharing your bed...”) and the show then forcing him (and us!) to sympathize with her in the end as a tragic character! It irks me so, so much when the fandom blames Barry for not noticing something off when a) that is literally not true and b) he’s a victim! And this is partly on the show for never realizing/addressing the fact that Barry was a victim, but also...the fans should know better too.

I think with the context of how often simone has played Expendable characters who die for white characters' stories plus the fact of her being a woman of color which is probably part of the perceived expendability, her being vocal about the shitty handling of lottie's death and bad communication with her on set makes sense. Maybe she's not being as palatable as Juliette had been about similar but at this point why should she be. I've only been following her career for a fraction of it but I'm also tired of seeing this happen to her when she's incredibly talented and hardworking and how she has had so many people rave about how wonderful she is to work with.

Yesterday I've been doing some proper physical exercise for the first time since last year and I'm just imagining how proud my f/os would be of me🥹

#it was just a 20 minute beginners home workout and I can feel every muscle in my body now but I think they'd be so happy I pushed through!#I've had particularly Heinz and Maximilian on my mind I think they would be sooo happy that I'm trying to take better care of myself💖#Heinz because he's always there anyway of course but I kind of imagine Max is probably overall the fittest out of my f/os #he seems like the kind of guy who'd want to be an example for his soldiers and always hold himself to the same standards as them #he'd be so supportive and cheer me on and be proud of me every time I get myself to do something😭💖💖#I've never particularly enjoyed doing sports (aside horse riding but in the past year I didn't have time anymore for that bc of uni😭😭)#so I didn't really do anything anymore after I finished school #I started doing simple home workouts last year but in winter my mental health went a little📉 and then I had no motivation to keep going #dunno how long I'll go through with it this time but better than nothing I guess #again with the home workouts lmao bc driving to the nearest gym ain't worth the time for me and I'd need some basic fitness first anyway #I'm doing it mainly for health reasons but this time I'm also motivated to actually get a bit stronger #I don't mind looking like a stick figure and I'm overall content with my body (maybe it could help me to look a bit more masc tho?👀👀)#but I know especially for my posture and such it would be good if my muscles were just a tad bit more developed #my mum was proud of me too when I told her about it hehe :) she works in healthcare she's always a little concerned #she's just a little worried about me getting health issues when I'm older that could be avoided by taking proper care of my body now #I get where she's coming from but it's not easy but at least I'm motivated to try again now :)#selnia talks

okay. hot take maybe but i do think mirabelle could have been handled a bit better

#maybe i missed something but she just felt very. baby's first explanation of an aroace person to me #i think the closest thing we got to acknowledging some of the horrors that come with that is when #siffrin is lashing out and the thing that gets to her is when he tells her that she is just going to be alone forever #but i feel like it would have made more sense to sort of acknowledge that yes that is a fear and concern #for a lot of aroace people especially moving into adulthood and knowing that you might lose significance in people's lives #AND i think it would have been a good mirror to siffrin's issues because they are also concerned about a kind of similar thing #so it might have been interesting to have her talk about that in more depth #and also have it completely go over siffrin's head that he would be included in people she wanted to keep around #i just feel like in a game about these things it would have made more sense to go a bit more in depth #i do think the aspect of it being at odds with her religion was kind of at least something though

i love that eshka loves spite and that, to a degree, he sees her actions and can interpret them in his own way to understand that she cares for him. and the opposite is true as well

I finally got to play dnd and holy shit I can't wait for the next session

#it was so fun but also impromptu as fuck which made me a bit nervous because i was not prepared lol #but it was still such a great time #i also realized how much i knew about dnd while helping everyone build characters #everyone was shocked when i was like oh yeah I've never actually played before #i have just consumed a concerning amount of critical role and dimension 20 and spent a lot of time looking at spells and subclasses lol #also i had like three ideas of characters to play and i originally settled on a grave cleric but the subclass was in a different book #so i ended up going with my wildfire druid who was pretty fleshed out but i realized i never named her #so i quickly tried to find a name in the middle of helping people build their characters #and when we actually started playing i straight up forgot my name and was oh shit that me lol #at least my wildfire spirit already had his name picked out lol #but that shit was so fun and we have a good mix of goofy characters and semi serious characters which is gonna make shit super interesting #although during our session zero trial fight my girlfriend did make me go unconscious but she fudged the numbers so i at least didnt die #at least my girlfriend is a gracious dm lol #personal

The amount of talking and negotiating I'm doing with this landlord is giving Andrew Garfield as Jonathan Larson talking to the electric company. Y'know?

#im in hell. this is my personal hell #i havent been at my current job for at least six months but i was at my last one for over six months #which should meet the requirement #she said i need a job in the city i want to move to to be accepted #maam its hard to have a job in a city i cant live in yet #so i asked if i was accepted to a job that met income requirements would that count even if i havent started yet #she didnt answer. now shes asking for dates for my last job #ive rented from this company before! ive met this woman before!!#i was never late on rent. never needed any maintenance. left my apartment in good condition #that should speak for itself #maybe im crazy. maybe im the one in the wrong here #but i dont think i am! i think landlords are a little full of themselves #this apartment doesnt have a bathroom in unit. you have to walk across the hall to use your bathroom #i think that should be a bigger concern than how many months ive been at my job #im just saying maybe no bathroom in unit is a bit of a hard sell #you eant a cosigner? ill get a cosigner. ill get a job in the city before ive moved to the city. ill jump through your fucking hoops #because i have no other option #idk maybe i should become like dexter #but just for killing landlords. cuz im getting a little sick of their attitude

thoughts on how the Inazuma Archon quest went [1]

i'm including the interlude chapter here b/c tbh i need to have no more procrastination excuses. SO!

Kaeya and Lumi've been in Liyue for a bit now, doin their thing. Lumi's doing a lot of exploration / learning about this nation, Kaeya's helping her out while also expanding his connections, etc etc.

So then Ningguang drops the whole "who wants to help rebuild the Jade Chamber~~" so ofc the Traveler Trio is like "well obviously this is a great idea". like who wouldn't want to ask Ningguang a question ????? so cue the Trio deciding to take it upon themselves to help fix the Jade Chamber

i feel like when they first stumble on Shenhe, Lumi and Kaeya have a moment of like "well she gives off Vibes(tm)" and immediately debate if she's an adepti. ofc, even if she is an adepti, getting harrassed on the street isn't cool. Kaeya gets the Millelith, and everything's aok.

Lumi: you okay? Shenhe: Shenhe Lumi: bless you. Shenhe: my name. Lumi: OH.

i'm like 90% sure Kaeya is Concerned that Shenhe doesn't know what laws are, but Lumi is like unfazed b/c she, too, had to learn the laws of this world. however, EVERYONE is bewildered by Shenhe's choice to eat medicinal herbs. like,,, girl,,, u live like that?

Paimon: she's totally an adeptus Kaeya: nah she's got the vibes but she's not an adeptus Lumi: maybe she's one of those pilgrims Xiao mentioned once. like the ones that go into the mountains for adeptal blessings? Kaeya: oooo, that's a good guess. how much Mora u wanna bet? Lumi: let me see what i got on hand... Paimon: why are u two like this. Kaeya: you not betting? Paimon: ... 500 on her being an adeptus.

anyway, Shenhe joins the club and they have to convince her not to murder everyone. Lumi's already a little bit feral, so poor Kaeya's got a lot to juggle between Shenhe's "dispose of the competitors" and Lumi's "kinda tempting ngl".

another highlight from this quest: Xingqiu: so that thing ur looking for is like 500 million mora Lumi: wh....at.... Xingqiu: oh, I said it's 500-- Kaeya: no, don't repeat it, you might kill her. Xingqiu: ... well, it's not worth it anyway, so don't worry about it!!!

since Paimon, Kaeya, and Lumi have a bet on Shenhe, i feel like Shenhe yapping abt the adepti keeps making Paimon go like "heheh i'm gonna wiiin" and Lumi and Kaeya are just like "hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm". they probably started doing bets like this b/c of Zhongli, tbqh.

ok i gotta scramble the next part out b/c i have work soon, but i swear i'll continue this when i can.
