Anyways. Once again thinking about how ableist and saneist TASM and TASM2 are.

#literally very few things make me angrier.#than the fact people unironically think that any part of Curt’s or Harry’s depictions was like. good. or okay.#it’s bad #you cannot get much more on the nose with your ableism than having one of your characters literally end up in a straight jacket #in a mental institution in your final scene of him #there’s something particularly bad about Harry to me.#they took maybe the only well known schizophrenia character who isn’t completely demonized #and did That.#everything about that is bad #taking that character and reducing him to cartoonish insanity with a side of killing a civilian #is not a good look #a lot of his angst and shit is ableist or saneist shit I wish people thought critically about #or really thought about at all for more than ten seconds #harry osborn #curt connors

As much as I am voting for Harris because no one would survive a second Trump term, this is extremely valid. Especially since Harris did call for a ceasefire in her acceptance speech but didn't bother to allow a Palestinian speaker to come up on stage. I was genuinely disappointed at the hypocrisy.

Dnc refusing to allow a Palestinian to speak even if their speech is vetted and reviewed by dems before they go up but will allow israelis to come speak and will even take pictures with them... the mere presence of Palestinians offends them, yet all you dem supporters still want us to vote for them lmao.

#I can see from Harris' perspective why it might not have been the best idea #The US is still staunchly pro-israel. If she said something like Free Palestine it could cost her the election #The person who people were asking to speak was from the uncommitted group #which in hindsight doesn't look good for the dnc to have someone who might be uncommitted in voting for democrat #specifically Harris #but the fact that democratic lawmakers were covering their ears as protestors were listing off the names of dead Palestinians #and a few guests were mocking them #is not a good look #if we want a way forward into the future everyone needs to be welcomed #If Trump is reelected he will kill the Palestinians #Not a joke #he's actually violated the Logan Act to convince Israel's PM to not accept Biden's ceasefire deal #he has israel flags standing proudly behind him at a most recent rally #With Harris #there is a chance #however small #at peace #With Trump there is no chance #remember that going into November

Amaury "Chocolate Guy" Guichon is undoubtedly an extremely skilled sculptor in chocolate but I think my favorite thing about a lot of his videos is the effort he puts into putting actual dessert food under the sculpture work

So many of his desserts & pastries have at least 5 layers of different textures & flavors. Fruit jams, caramel, cake, creams, mousse, cookies, meringue, crumb layers etc

That's what makes his work truly impressive to me, especially as someone who quickly got tired of the "knife that turns everything into cake" thing, where it was all basic chocolate cake buried under 13 layers of fondant

It takes amaury's work from an impressive stunt to "if I ate that, it would probably be the best thing I'd eat in my whole life"
