I’m SUPER late on the fictionkin talks w Farcille but I just found ur account again and I had to tap! (Hi from twt btw!! We used to interact all the time before I literally disappeared off the face of the earth)

Both Falin and Marcille are so real to me. Especially Marcille with how she’s just Very headstrong and the fact that she takes every opportunity to gain more knowledge only making her More headstrong because “I know everything on this topic, I’m a living encyclopedia. I could be wrong but I Doubt It” which is her entire being. She is So Fucking Real to me.

And then her relationship with Falin being basically “we’re both autistic and never had any friends, we’re gonna be insufferable and attached at the hip forever even if it’s borderline unstable and codependent” is EVERYTHING. And Falin’s whole character arc of just learning abt herself outside of everyone she’s ever lived for and learning to live for and love herself?? She’s so real?? All the time?? They’re both everything to me I can’t even 😭

Shout out to Marcille “the dsm-5 was invented for me” Donato and Falin “if I even tried to mask I think I would die” Touden, they have every mental illness possible

Oh yeah they are both certainly somewhere in the spectrum there aint no way in hell anyone in the touden party besides maaaybe chilchuck isnt some level of neurodivergent!

Super late to respond to this myself but its certaintly always great to see people relating to the characters so much! When it comes to Marcille the parts I relate to the most is her tendency to overthink things to hell and back and her burnt out student vibes except i'm just not that bright myself lmao

Them being so codependent is so real tho i desperately wanna write some short comics to explore that side of them!

Have you ever played Monster Hunter? Particularly Monster Hunter Wilds, either way I know Laios would LOVE that universe, lol.

So I have not personally played it myself mostly out of fear that my lil laptop wont be able to handle all that HOWEVER from what my friends who have played it have told me it WOULD literrally be Laios' favorite game. I totally agree 100%
