“Sanji, sweetheart-“

“Yes, love?”

You smile softly at him before continuing. “Do you think we’d be together in every universe?”

Sanji doesn't even take a moment to consider his answer- he simply blurts out; “Yes. Always.”

A giggle escapes your lips, which come to press a kiss to his cheek. “I don’t know what other answer I could have expected from you.”

“I have more to say, if you'd like to hear it of course.”

“Mhm.” You nod.

Sanji clears his throat with a flourish, as if he's about to present some grandeur speech. “You are the love of my life- and of all my lives. Without getting to love you and be loved by you, I don’t think I’d be able to go on. So, naturally, we would be together in every universe. If not; it must be a world where I don’t exist.” Then, he takes your hands in his. “My love, I’d be yours in any universe you’d have me in.”

Your gentle smile grows into a full blown grin and, naturally, your lips are drawn to his.

Roronoa Zoro - 0.2k

“Do you think we’re together in every universe, Zoro?”

He shrugs, and starts fiddling with his swords. They lean against the same wall that the two of you are sitting on, his legs crossed around the spot where they hit the floor and yours pressed up against your chest.

“Doesn’t really matter, does it? We’re together here.”

You simply hum in response. It was unreasonable to except something poetic from him in the first place.

“But I hope we are.”

At this, your ears perk up. You turn to face him with wide eyes.

“I just mean… I hope I’ve done enough to deserve you in other lifetimes.”

The corners of your lips quirk up in a smile, and your arms encircle his much larger and more solid one. “You do more than enough in this one. Don’t worry about that.”

Zoro smiles too- not only at your words, but the tickle of your breath against his neck when you speak.

He really doesn’t care to imagine other universes- not when a mere moment with you is enough to take up all the space in his mind for hours on end- but Zoro will still always indulge your whims.

Trafalgar Law - 0.3k

“Law.”

He looks up from his book at your urgent tone. “Yes?”

“Do you think we’re together in every universe?”

He scoffs. “Yeah, of course.”

You tilt your head, silently urging him to continue. He doesn’t though- and he won’t indulge your curiosity without verbal reassurance. So, you give in.

“Why? I was expecting a full thesis with supporting evidence from you, smartass.”

Law shuts his book. “Ahem; Then, I believe that we would be together in every universe because… well, we’re together now. It’s the natural order of things, so why would that change in a supposed parallel universe?”

He’s such a nerd. You want to kiss him.

But instead, you just shrug. “Things happen.”

“Then I’d like to think that our relationship is still a constant.” He finishes off the topic with that. What reason could you have for wondering if you would still love each other in other universes, anyway? The answer is so glaringly obvious- to him, at least. He continues, this time teasing you. “Now, did you have a genuine question, or are we just proposing hypotheticals tonight?” Law smirks at you, but his cheeks are growing pinker by the second. It’s a futile attempt to cover how endearing he finds the thought.

With a satisfied shake of your head, you turn on your heel. “Nope! That was all.” And when you reach the hall outside his office, you poke your head back in. “Love you!”

Law pulls his hat down further, props his book up higher, and sinks into his chair. His voice is a quiet mumble as he returns the sentiment. “Love you too.” Which, he really does; he’s just a little shy.

things weren’t quite normal. of course, things were never quite normal once you were a jujutsu sorcerer.

suddenly all aspects of life were turned upside down - even the way you died wasn’t normal. if no one killed you with cursed energy, then chances were you’d end up a curse. you would turn into something to tick off another sorcerer’s list, another curse to exorcise.

life itself? it consisted of training to exorcise curses and then exorcising curses, with barely anything in between. some days you’re with a companion, which makes it good if it’s with megumi or nobara because they're bearable but bad with yuji because he never shuts up (just kidding - you knew you loved the dude). other days it’s up to you to face the curse alone, which makes it bad because you’ve never been the courageous type and curses just seem easier to handle with others.

and love? sure, platonic love was everywhere in jujutsu high - you can’t help but feel a little fond of everyone. even your professor, satoru gojo, was someone you deeply cared about, despite him talking a lot and teaching even less (not that you were complaining - that man could actually teach when he wanted). but romantic love? it was extremely rare to find a sorcerer romantically involved with someone. yuji did have a soft spot for jennifer lawrence, but it wasn’t as if she would suddenly appear and give him a kiss or something. megumi seemed too “busy” for romance (what was he even busy with? studying? training?). and nobara would just “fight off the feelings with a bit of shopping,” or so she said.

but you? your heart couldn't help but race a little whenever you met the second years. you grinned at maki, fist bumped panda, mourned the fact that yuta wasn't around, and stole a glance at inumaki, which only made your heart race faster. 

it was common knowledge among the first years of your “very obvious” crush on inumaki. nobara had known once she had seen how you looked at him; megumi had known since you told him (nobara was sick of being the only person who knew); yuji had known since nobara and megumi had told him, being so sick of his complete density.

“y/n!” a grinning yuji greeted you one evening, after a short sparring session with the second years. “you didn’t tell me you liked inumaki!”

you gave a death stare to both nobara and megumi, who stood behind the pink-haired boy – nobara with a sheepish sort of smile and megumi with a shrug. you wanted to punch them both, but held back with a sarcastically sweet smile. “and? you didn’t think it was obvious?”

“well, n–” yuji's sentence was interrupted by megumi, with a(n affectionate) punch to the pink-haired boy's head.

“he figured it out,” megumi said, with a slight upward twitch of his lips.

“it was really obvious,” yuuji said helpfully, rubbing his head. “after remembering how you always go heart eyed around the second years–”

you glared at the trio of them. “ssssh!”

so now your classmates knew about your little crush. and what were you going to do about it?

as of this chapter, they are still quite new to the school. new enough to not have gotten extremely close to the 2nd years yet, but old enough to know the ins and outs of jujutsu sorcery (like the when you die you become a curse bit)

how did nobara know about yn x inumaki? she noticed yn sneaking glances at inumaki in the cafeteria - probably because that was the only time his collar was open, and yn needed to appreciate his beautiful face more (or so nobara said)

and yes i'm mad about that kind of stuff! it comes off as so selfish and spoilt!! and not to make everything about bts but bts have this exact same issue w some fans to the point where armys literally came up w a name for to refer to these kind of fans: mantis (manager+anti). an explanation of what that means from reddit (bc it's better than i could ever explain it): 'Mantis are antis who essentially hide behind “stanning” so much that they themselves feel like they know the group, and their career, better than the group does. These are the fans constantly trying to "protect" them, beyond normal levels. The type to think they are constantly mistreated/tortured by the company and don't get to make any decisions of their own. Also tend to call out other fans "for not being real fans" if they don't join in on the concern.' like literally i read some of stuff some (emphasis on SOME) fkt fans say and it literally is like. i have played these games before!

and listen i'm not gonna pretend i know much of anything abt that company. i'm new here as it is and i really don't pay attention to any other actors or shows or whatever to compare it to so im deffo not the authority in this regard!

but all that said i 1000% get the impression that there are some fans that kinda... infantilise fkt when it comes to their work. like they have no choice or agency and gmmtv are keeping them locked in a basement somewhere. and i do believe that the majority of them mean well (altho i do think a lot of them want/expect way too much from fkt but i'll get to that), but it's almost as if they forget they're grown men who are more than capable of advocating for themselves. i mean fucking hell, was it not them aggressively advocating for themselves for years that got them put on a show together in the first place? first and khaotung are clearly not people who have difficulty going after what they want, esp when together. i've heard that fkt are notoriously picky about which scripts they accept, which doesn't sound to me like people who are really being neglected by their company. neglected actors don't get the luxury of being picky about jobs. neglected actors are lucky to get any jobs.

(and this goes for events and stuff too, which is a common gripe i've seen. in my opinion - and this is just mine! - people who take their acting as seriously as first and khaotung may not want to take loads of events where they're essentially glorified salesmen. and i mean that with no shade bc make that bag always, but as i see it that's all those events are - extra money in their pockets. i can't see how they would do anything for their career really. and doesn't it just make sense that if they're picky abt their jobs that would also extend into events and stuff too? like? i mean ppl are free to disagree w me on this bc this is just my opinion but yknow. i just think ppl make this into a bigger thing than it is)

and funnily enough i also saw a thread on twt the other day abt how fkt are much bigger internationally than they are in thailand. the shows they've opted to do (again, opted, bc they have a choice) are shows that allegedly don't appeal to a domestic market like most other gmmtv shows do. and so, no matter how you or i might feel abt it, from a business pov it makes sense that they might not be getting the opportunities some other actors might be getting if there simply just isn't demand for it domestically. which sucks, but if that's how it is, that's how it is.

and don't get me wrong i completely get viciously advocating for your faves ok? im an army. for half of bts' career fans were all they had. but sometimes that advocacy becomes a) kinda ridiculously demanding given the context and b) almost condescending. or very condescending sometimes. this goes for bts and fkt both. and while it's all well and good wanting things for them, all i'm saying is let's not forget that they are grown men who are not new to this business. not to mention the fact they have a known track record of advocating for themselves, or the fact that they enough scripts coming their way to be able to be picky, or the fact that already have a new show lined up. first has two even! and a show currently airing! and a cameo that just aired like last week! and another one we know is coming! like my god these are not men who are hurting for work rn.

and in my humble opinion, coming to learn about this industry relatively recently, i think ppl expect too much from these actors overall. i think a lot of them - fkt included - work a hell of a fucking lot actually. i think demanding much more is just selfishness. if im honest. like yes it's nice to see them doing events and stuff. but it's not necessary. and i'll be honest! would i like more interviews and magazines and things like that? sure! but like i said if the demand isn't there, neither will the offers be. that's just the reality of what it is! i'm not going to be sending trucks about it lmfao

the bottom line is this: i'm not saying gmmtv do or don't neglect them. i don't have enough information to have a strong enough opinion one way or the other. but from the outside looking in they seem to be doing just fine. they've got work. they've seemingly got money. and like i said, they're grown men. this is their careers. if they have issues with one thing or another, i trust that they will address those issues as they see fit between themselves and their company. until the day that first and/or khaotung themselves express unhappiness or discontentment, i will take them at face value and believe that they're happy w the way things are. bc literally who tf am i to tell them they should be doing anything different?

Horangi had a very solitary nature until he joined the army. he still kind of does, but by the time he joined KorTac he'd been conditioned to be around others and it doesn't bother him as much

mostly lets out amused huffs/snorts instead of 'properly' laughing. (basically a human version of tiger chuffing!! chuffing has been described as sounding like car exhaust, snorts, and/or huffs, and it's vaguely akin to purring. in general, it's the sound of a very happy kitty, but it's also used for greetings and courtship. just a funfact :3)

^ on the topic of noises; grunting in response to things, those quiet grumbles that almost sound like growls when he's frustrated, etc.. gotta have tiger-like vocalizations for mr. tiger man

he can see exceptionally well in the dark, and he has an almost scarily good sense of smell.

his hair's almost always silky smooth (maybe just slighty coarse, at some points, but never too dry or brittle). not even he understands how he manages it.

Horangi has hypogeusia. it's a taste disorder that causes reduced taste and can make it hard to differentiate certain flavors. it isn't severe in his case, and it mostly affects his ability to taste sweetness.

^ he prefers foods that have much stronger tastes, because its easier to, well, taste them. while his disorder mainly hinders tasting sweet things, foods in general can taste a bit bland to him if they arent powerful enough.

smells 'warm'. citrus, cedar, spices, ginger, etc. (burberry brit for men is the cologne im thinking of for him). also always smells like cigarette smoke. definitely not overwhelmingly though; it's there, but mostly covered by the aforementioned scents.

he's actually pretty good at baking, which is ironic because most of the time he can barely taste what he's making.

notes. the empty boxes are things that i was gonna do today, but instead it was snowing all day and i didn't want to drive or go outside, so it never got done lmao... i did read a little bit of this book/collection of lecture notes by Lev Pontryagin though. i want to just skim this over break (too difficult to learn rn) so that i can gather the general ideas, get a handle on some of my favorite definitions/theorems, and save the deep learning for whenever i actually need this.

i read the intro and section one - it rushes through a bunch of background stuff, like linear independence, orthonormal bases, and inner products. then they introduce "general position" (will talk about this later) and they define convex shapes.

i started reading it very closely at first, thinkning a lot about the proofs given, and honest i was wasting my time before i caught myself, like,,, calm down, stop overthinking stuff you don't care about, lev pontryagin isnt going to materialize from the grave and assign you homework.

and so yeah, while i technically wrote "i read the intro and section 1" i only completely read the first two and last two pages. but i think it still counts that i read it because the whole thing is only 9 pages. that's almost 50% !!

what i learned: one thing that stood out to me was "general position", which means that if you have m points in "general position" then any subset of k (less than or equal to the dimension of the space) points is also independent. that seems like a very convenient notion to have, but i've never done math that needed it.

in fact, there's a pretty interesting theorem stating that if you have a system of any m points, you can boop some of the points and suddenly they are in general position. (or in technical terms, "any finite system of points of R^n can be brought into general position by an arbitrarily small displacement.")

that's all the interesting stuff from this section, at least in my opinion. well, it's interesting because i haven't seen this before and the theorem has a cute visual (some points that you just tap slightly and voila, general position)

i doubt i will be able to read the next sections as quickly though, because much of it will be new material to me. i might even skip entire sections if i realize i dont care, but i think i will try to read and learn something from every section. it's not even a big book so. yeah i think i can do it.

tomorrow i have a hangout planned so im very excited for that :D my friend's coming over and we're just going to cook. cooking is like math in a way - the people who know how to cook think it's obvious and easy, and the people who don't know how to cook find the task monumentally challenging. i'm in the first camp, but i know enough people in the second one that i do understand its hard.

Hey it's me again lmao You were wondering what specifically I was struggling with and I had to kinda take a moment to think about it, these are some of the examples I have digitally (there are a lot more traditional examples but I felt bad putting them on here already lmao). The reason I suppose I struggled to articulate my issues with drawing him kinda just boiled down to "it doesn't look right" I'd say my biggest struggles are the face shape, hair and just proportions of everything. Sorry if this is a bother, you don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but thank you for taking the time to understand in my last ask.

hehehe don't worry its not a bother, i love analyzing art so this is basically enrichment for me >:3!!

(a little disclaimer that all im saying will be from my perspective and according to my preferences in designs. its pretty obvious since you're asking me, but i feel like it needs to be said. also im sorry if im too harsh with anything)

face shapes can definitely be tricky, because even the slightest changes are super visible... you (in these drawings) tend to draw longer faces and define the jaw and chin. it might be worth it to try and bring out the cheeks or cheekbones a little. cheeks add roundness to the face and take some of the attention from the chin. cheekbones make the face feel more defined and sharp.

also try to leave some space between the eyes and the hairline, so they don't go over each other and have some space for expression. im not directly saying to draw a bigger forehead, because its really up to your style if the eyebrows sit where they should anatomically be or if they're more cartoony and go up higher, so there might be a lot of space that isn't actually considered a "forehead".

i really like the nose shape you draw for him, this sort of "v" shape, its super cute and looks interesting! so im not touching it, i like it.

another thing, you draw the guidelines for the face, like the lines that go through the middle vertically and horizontally, and its really good and helpful! but remember that those are just guidelines, they don't define the face, and sometimes they can be more constricting than helping. sometimes the face features go below or above them or shift because of perspective! not saying to completely not use them, especially if you're not feeling confident, but lowering the opacity on them or making them thinner would help!

and somewhat relating to the guidelines: you know how you draw the corners of his eyes on this middle line, but then the upper and lower eyelids go around it? this makes the eyes feel much higher on the face than they are. the inner corners of the eyes i would call one of the more charismatic parts, because they feel like the place where the eye starts, and then the direction the eyelids take is what brings in the character.. if that makes sence? by having both the inner and the outer corners of the eye on the same line, it removes the character, because none of the corners are dominant and they're not dynamic. by making one of the corners higher or lower than the other, it creates a more dynamic shape. and also removes the problem where the eyes feel like they're too close. this really is much easier to explain in a drawing....

for the hair i think you're doing well! just remember to leave some space for the back of the head and above the hairline, because the face sits on the head but it's not the head itself, so there should be some area around it too. and also that hair have weight and volume and they go over the shape of the head and don't stick to it.

also don't foget to leave room for the neck! there's space between it and the chin, and there's space between it and the back of the head. and head doesn't have to sit directly in the middle of the neck, it can move from side to side and create interesting shapes depending on the angle.

and i guess yeah! experiment with shapes, sizes and dimensions, if something is wrong you can always erase it and draw again!

This is where i will confess that im thinking of using a different name for Arturia, i already Kinda do in my notes. As in legal name (thinking of Aurlyn, which is similar but different enough). I would be doing the same with some of the Orkney siblings whose names would not be as common in the modern world or too obvious a reference, while still being named after the knights (Gareth would stay as Gareth cuz thats literally still a mormal name people use, but a name like Agravain or Mordred arent as common, ig. I think form the beginning the strategy was not for a podium because it's obvious that rn mclaren can't compete againt ferrari and much less red bull. So I really think they were going for p5 and p6 but alonso did a really good race. IDK maybe we need to wait for a few updates like last year to be able to compete against rb and ferrari. Also Japan was after mid season break after the good updates came through maybe that's why we maybe were expecting more from this race.. i think it was really good race, even more so after DR dnf 😅
