“Please?” James asks.

“No.” Regulus tells him bluntly, not looking up from his book.  

“But… please?” James is begging.

“James. No.” Regulus says firmly.

“But… but… Reg!!” Now James is whining. “Everyone already has someone, and I’ll be all by myself.” He pouts a little petulantly.  

“I didn’t know you needed two people for sledding, Potter.” Regulus deadpans. “You just sit on the thing and roll down a hill. Seems very doable with one idiot. You don’t need me.”

James huffs. “First, you don’t roll down a hill on a thing. That’s kind of the point. You’re on a sled and you slide down the hill.” James holds his arm out and slides his other hand down it, apparently mimicking a sled on a hill. “Second, I guess, maybe, technically you don’t need two people. But everyone else will have two people which not only means their sleds will go faster, which makes it so much more fun. But also… I’ll be all by myself.” James pouts, but he does genuinely sound sad. Regulus keeps his eyes firmly on his book. He will not cave.  

“James.” Regulus starts slowly. “I don’t like to be cold. I don’t like to be wet. I don’t like the snow. I highly doubt I will like sledding.”  

“But you love me.” James says sweetly. And Regulus makes a catastrophic mistake. He looks up. He looks up into those beautiful, hazel, puppy-dog eyes… and he caves.

Regulus is on a sled with James, speeding down a hill and he hates to admit, it is a little fun. That is, until they reach the bottom of the hill and James steers the sled the wrong way and they end up sledding right into a snowbank.

James is laughing uncontrollably as he climbs off the sled and tries to help Regulus up, but Regulus bats his hand away and stands up on his own.  

Regulus is obviously covered in snow. It’s clumping in his curls and seeping through his clothes. He’s cold and he’s wet, and he thinks he might genuinely murder James right now, because James is cackling. Regulus sends him a murderous glare that obviously does nothing except make him laugh harder.   

“I loathe you” Regulus hisses and James snorts, attempting to cover another chuckle.

“I loathe the snow. I loathe the cold. I loathe sledding.” Regulus is taking measured steps towards James. “I loathe you and your very existence. I loathe it all.” He stops in front of James trying to sound infuriated and not like he’s pouting. “I hate you. I mean it this time, Potter.” He’s pouting a little. But James still pulls his lips between his teeth and nods his head quickly, doing his best to look appropriately scolded. “Stop laughing. You are insufferable!” He pushes James down into the snowbank and that does it, James bursts into hysterical laughter. “Ugh. You are so lucky I love you.” Regulus tells him as he stomps away.

Been on a Batman kick. Hi. I switch kicks all the time. This is because if I get bored I explode. Unfortunate, I know.

Anyways. I'm catching up on the comics rn, but has Batman ever encountered a recently trans person. Like, the name change isn't even filed yet they just go by smth else.

I would like to preface this bit by saying no, I don't think Batman is transphobic I think that would be out of character. I DO think he fixates on every little thing however, and misses VERY OBVIOUS solutions.

Imagine, if you will.

Batman: their paperwork keeps switching between being a boy or a girl... they're using a different name than their legal one... we could have a new rogue on our hands.

Nightwing: Bruce, have you considered they're trans.

Batman: Of course I- hm. I did not. I will be reevaluating this case.

I heavily do not believe Batman would be against trans people I think he's chill with it I just also believe Batman's paranoia would lead to a lot of like random up and coming trans people having an encounter with The Fucking Batman. They post about it. Ppl in Gotham are trying to figure out why Batman seems to know the entire trans population.

I did not look at this community before writing the post I'm starting with this post muted and simply praying it's a chill normal community thank you.

So far Grell is like the only member of the church who wouldn't care if she got caught wooing a demon, the only reason girlie hasn't been kicked out yet is cause Hannah and Angela are saving her ass 😭 (Yeah, Grell, Hannah and Angela are a trio here).

Her first time actually seeing Sebastian was when Ronald finally got the courage to introduce Grell to Mey-Rin (since he trusts Grell the most cause besties) and they accidentally walked in on Sebastian harshly scolding Mey-Rin for messing around with a human for days. The room was filled with silence before Grell broke it with a "god DAYUM 😳😳😳" and immediately asked Ronald without hesitation, which one is "his" so she could take dips on the other one. And it all went down hill from there, Sebastian never heard of peace again after that 😔

From up here Kai could see that the cliffs went deep, deep down; beneath that it was too cloudy to make out anything else except the large, indistinct shadow that lurked under, spreading from the easternmost cliff formation like an ink stain. His throat tightened.

“Found it while diving a few days ago,” Joao said quietly. He had come up behind Kai and was staring at it now, too, with that mix of fear and wonder that people always wore when they saw a Jaeger for the first time. The memory hit Kai like a slap, then: Julian in the hangar, looking up and up and up at Cherno, dappled in shadow by the floodlights, that same look on his face. Is she ours? “It’s a small miracle, that no one’s found it yet.”

Miracle implied that Kai had some sort of divine favour on his side, which he found so amusing that he smiled despite the ache in his chest. “Can you take me to her?”

“Of course,” Joao said immediately, kicking off his slippers and turning an expectant look on Kai.

Kai blinked at him, uncomprehending. “What?”

Mischief crept onto Joao’s face, a much more familiar expression than the solemn, quiet look he’d worn the whole walk here. “Kai,” he said. “You have to jump.”

I will stop thinking about it I promise, but yeah I assumed Surgery Altar dude depicted Willem (over all the evidence of Byrgenwerth and Healing Church initially not being so split and communicating even, the idea of that Altar depicting surgery on OoK rather than Blood Ministration and Research Hall being focused on eyes and not blood). But it does have a hat that looks like Choir's blindfold but taller, Church shawl and surgeon gloves..

I am just having second thoughts, but also what frustrates me about that depiction is how much it lacks the details? I want to just copy it for Laurence, but if I don't torture myself with different chains and ribbons and laces and accessories and extra layers I will explode 🤔 The best solution would be to say that Altar robe is his doctor suit; you don't wanna wear something too heavy on accessories when you are doing medical procedures! But appearing in the public, on the other hand, is a good excuse for dressing up pretty!
