The Intersex flag by Morgan Carpenter, but with an Ouroboros / Uroboros in place of the circle. The second flag uses the "reversed" color scheme usually associated with the Ipsogender flag!

Ipsoultergender/Ulteripsogender - Being both ipsogender and ultergender for any reason. This term is meant to be analogous to cistrans/transcis(tris).

Ipsotergender - Being ipsoultergender/ulteripsogender and being more ipsogender than ultergender

Ultersogender - Being ipsoultergender/ulteripsogender and being more ultergender than ipsogender

I've put the finishing touches to my new powerchair StarBug2 the Freedomchair DE08L. I've added new stickers, some made by me, some made by friends, others off redbubble. I used to volunteer as a bat rescuer, and I was holding a space on one fender for this adorable little pride batty. Plus a roundel on the other fender. Thank you again to EVERYONE who shared and donated to the fundraiser to get me mobile again and give me my freedom back. I love you all <3 Now it's on to new adventures with StarBug2. On Saturday it's my birthday, so myself and my partner are going to a firehouse ghostbusters event to fundraise for Great Ormond Street Hospital - to whom he owes his life. He'll be doing his ghostbusters cosplay and StarBug2 will have its first outing as an Ecto-1 car cosplay. Fortunately the boards I made for StarBug1 will fit the new one as well. Then later in July, there'll be a Good Omens flaming Bentley cosplay for it as well for The Ineffable Con 5.

Caedulter and Caedipso

Caedulter: An intersex individual who at one point, was Transgender, but due to trauma ( from their own Intersex experiences, Intersexism within Trans- spaces*, etc. ) is now Ultergender. May also be spelled Caedoulter.

Caedipso: An intersex individual who at one point, was Cisgender, but due to trauma ( from their own Intersex experiences, Intersexism from Perisex Cisgender individuals, etc. ) is now Ipsogender. May also be spelled Caedoipso.

Any other Intersex people may use these if you feel like you connect with them! Similar to other Caed- / Caedo- terms, you do not need to be specific or open about your trauma at all.

These are terms that are roughly based on the other existing Caed- / Caedo- terms but with slightly modified language. They are based off of my personal experiences ( Caedulter) and one of my friend's ( Caedipso ) so please be respectful.

OMG yes. I feel you. I'm a intersex woman with hyperandrogenism (so facial hair, natural tenor, etc).

In recent years I've had SO MANY people trying to show how much of an Ally they are by repeatedly using they/them prounouns on me without my permission (I use she/her).

Like there seems to be this group of mostly straight, cis, perisex people out there that are so desperate to prove that they are not transphobes that they completely trample over my actual gender and my actual safety.

And then there seems to be another group of mostly queer folks who have gotten some memo that anybody who is the slightest bit genderqueer must use they/them and if we want to use gendered pronouns we're somehow against the abolition of gendered language.

I'd love for English to drop gendered pronouns. But we're not even close to that and it isn't the job of trans and intersex people who use genderd pronouns to be the vanguard of they/them. For me, being they/them-ed comes with way too much baggage. It feeds wayyyy too much into the misconception that intersex means some third gender/sex for me to feel okay with it. It feels way too unsafe for me as somebody who has survived queerbashing.

Maybe future genations will finally be able to push English past gendered pronouns but until that tide turns there are so many trans & intersex people who deserve the correct pronouns for the language as it is currently spoken.

An unfortunate, reoccurring phenomenon I've experienced increasingly is people pestering me about my gender and/or hinting that they're a trans ally (assuming they aren't trans themselves) and goading me into coming out, and then getting extremely uncomfortable when I come out as a trans man. I'm genuinely shocked by the amount of times in the past few months alone I've come out and explained that I'm ftm, a binary trans man who uses he/him, and have been asked "Okay, so can I use they/them?" Or, "why don't you use they/them?"

I am not a passing trans man - not for lack of trying, but due to things that I simply cannot control, hide, or remedy right now. I have been told I look more androgynous than masculine, which is a significant part of why my pronouns are questioned, yes, even by other trans people. It makes people uncomfortable, because my identity doesn't align with their perception of me.

But even if I wasn't doing my fucking best to pass, even if I didn't bind, or if I chose wore dresses and skirts, my pronouns should be respected. You don't get to "compromise" or decline to use someone's pronouns because their presentation doesn't align with the image in your head. You can't just refer to any trans person by they/them pronouns because it makes you more comfortable.

Mascfem, femmasc, or femasc: someone who is both masculine and feminine, either fluidly or simultaneously, psychosocially or corporeally.

Intersex: individuals born with any of several sex traits/variations that do not fit typical binary notions of male/Wolffian or female/Müllerian bodies.

May also be known as interfemasc, ultermascfem, ipsofemmasc, or exparfemasc.
